  1. I strongly suggest that you buy this flexible hose to use with your FUJI sprayer. It makes it much easier to get into tight spaces while spraying. Mine works really well.

  2. The flexible hose is a nice addition.
It is lightweight and flexible which not only allows you to reach difficult spots but also relief your muscles during long spraying session.
I would have given it a five starts if it was a tiny bit longer.

  3. I purchased this hose in conjunction with a spray unit. The lightweight and flexibility of the hose is definitely advantageous and allows the operator to move around easily. I have been very pleased with this product and recommend its purchase to anyone buying a spray unit.

  4. This is not a good product. The hose loses its spiral integrity by only stepping on it. The metal connect is cutting into the hose only after a few uses. This is a $7 china special.

  1. The lock is thicker than I expected it to be. Given the price, it is a much better buy than the equivalent Kryptonite U-lock. It is just about the perfect size for securing a bike to a street sign or a rack, provided you are only trying to lock the frame.

I am very glad that I got the mini and not the full sized u-lock. The weight of the full sized lock would be to much to lug around.

  2. Debated between this and the NY FORGEDDABOUDIT lock which is about 2-3 times the price. A new TREK 7.5 FX was the motivation. It's sturdy, small enough not to add a huge amount of weight (isn't that why we buy good bikes, the weight?) and to hook my bike to most racks easily, defying leverage. A good buy, good guarantee, too.

  3. This is a good, study lock for a decent price. The locking mechanism moves smoothly and seems to work well. The only down side is that the plastic bike mount breaks pretty easily. The main piece that attaches to the lock to the mount broke within a month.

  1. Great item but power cord is too short, the intake easily clogs due to the 90 degree bend. Will suck the chrome off a trailer hitch.

  2. Don't let the name fool you, this is not a miniature version of the larger shop vacs. Yes, it is powerful, but it creates more of a mess emptying it than I've ever used it to clean up. The entrance of the hose on the inside is also about 1/2 inch from the filter, try cleaning up anything longer than 1/2 and it clogs.... I was trying to use it to suction up the little bit of hay that escapes from my rabbits cage and it is perfectly useless for this. The attachment on my regular vacuum works much better. If it hadn't been a gift, I'd have returned it after the first use. As it is, its sitting unused in my closet.

  3. Man o man this little guy is most likely what gave the shop vac its good name i have the big one but this one is money well spent power power power

  4. My Dad had one of these. I borrowed it so much I finaly bought my own. This little shop vac has lots of power.
The only thing I don't like about it, it has no bag. It can be messy when you empty it.

  5. I bought this little wet vac to deal with the results of a leaky air conditioner. The gulper nozzle works beautifully to clean up liquids. What's more, the dust nozzle works better on dry carpet than my old Dust Buster ever did. The tank holds about a gallon of liquid, and the nozzle will simply stop suction when it's full, so there's no danger of overflowing it. My only complaint about the Shop Vac Mini is that the hose leaks when you turn off the power. This can be corrected by holding up the hose before you hit the power button, so that gravity ensures no leakage. It would be nice not to have to take that extra step, but if taking that step is keeping the price down I'll accept it.

  1. Make sure that your brad nailer is 18 gauge and takes the 1-1/4 inch nails. Most brads only take one size.

Great price - about $2 cheaper than what I found at HD / LOW.

5 comments about Drill Doctor 500X 3/32-Inch to 1/2-Inch Drill Bit Sharpener.
  1. I am very impressed with my Drill Doctor X500. It is easy to setup and use. One note of caution: You do have to be careful when resharpening a split point drill if the drill has a deep split point clearance ground along the flute. The aligment fingers can set down into a deep split point clearance and they will rotate the drill out of proper aligment. In turn you will not get the proper clearance behind the cutting edge. After I realized this could happend I would rotate the drill clockwise several degrees between the fingers and then lock it in place. This would permit grinding a good clearance behind the cutting edge without much problem. Don't let this problem hold you back from buying an X500, it's a fine little machine.

  2. I purchased the Drill Dr. as a Christmas present to myself and it was worth it. I have often tried to drill a hole with the sharpest drill bit I could find in my tool box, only to struggle getting it drilled due to a dull bit. The Drill Dr. sharpens dull bits better than new. The process is quite simple and only takes a few seconds. Drill Dr was the cure for my dull drill bits.

  3. Drill Doctor 500X 3/32-Inch to 1/2-Inch Drill Bit Sharpener. Have not used it yet. Left on garage steps by delivery.

  4. I was a little hesitant to purchase this product because of some bad reviews, but this product really works

  5. I bought this machine a few months ago. I've used it to sharpen quite a few bits, 50+ ranging from HSS to masonry. I will emphasize that you MUST read the instructions thoroughly, and watch the DVD as well. It is important to know how the tool works, and why you will ruin bits if you don't follow the instructions.

To sharpen standard 118* bits couldn't be easier. This machine does an excellent job of it, and since I use most of my drill bits to drill in wood, this is the perfect angle for me. Split points can be ground on 118* bits, and I have done this with success. To sharpen masonry bits is also very easy, and the machine does an excellent job in this regard as well.

Where it gets tricky, for me anyway, is in sharpening 135* split point bits. These days nearly all bits sold are this type and it's nice to be able to recreate the same angle and split point. While I have sharpened bits of this angle with success, I haven't been able to get perfect results all the time. Proper alignment is critical. Trying to adjust the relief angle seems to make proper sharpening more difficult and I would not recommend it to someone who just got his hands on this machine. The relief angle is adjusted by putting the chuck to either side of the 118* alignment slot (the + and - increase and decrease the angle). This is to allow a more aggressive or less aggressive cut. Fiddling with this adjustment seems to throw off the split point when it is being ground as well, taking off way too much material. If too much material is removed during the split point procedure, subsequent sharpening of the bit will not yield the same angle since the alignment fingers will not hold the bit from is flutes, but from the newly ground area behind the split point. It is hard to visualize this, the mistake must be made to understand it fully.

Changing the diamond wheel is straight forward and easily done. The machine has a somewhat loud squeal when running, but it isn't too bad. I have sharpened broken bits with success, so that feature definitely works. Also, unless a bit really damaged during a botched sharpening attempt, it can most probably be sharpened to at least a 118* point again, though it will take a while and several alignment and sharpening procedures. I recommend the 100 grit wheel for when this must be done as it will take less time, and then a follow up can be done with the standard 180 grit wheel. The 750X has more features than just being able to accommodate larger bits, so in my opinion it is definitely worth it. I wish I had gotten that model instead, and I believe sharpening 135* and split points would be easier and faster. This is a quality product though, that I must say.

    **EDIT 7/26/08**
After using my DD extensively during a project to sharpen a masonry bit, I noticed something that I hadn't observed earlier. When sharpening the bits according to the instructions, the machine does not put opposing angles on the tip of the bit. That is, it grinds both sides of the tip to an arrow point, and this is NOT conducive to easy drilling. In fact, I realize that I put unnecessary load on my drill using the "sharpened" bit. Perhaps experimenting with bit alignment might help, but that can just as easily ruin a bit you're trying to breath more life into.

  1. These blades are AWESOME!! They are the perfect cure for unwanted trees, shrubs, or plants! Even in a sissified Ryobi saw, these babies tear through wood like nothing, and they don't bog down due to their design. Buy them from Amazon, it's much cheaper than getting them at the home centers. Oh, and if it matters to you were your tools/tool accessories are made as it does to me, these are made in Switzerland.

  2. I spent several hours one day cutting out overgrown branches from our Lilac bushes. Many were as big as 4-5 inches in diameter and 20 feet tall. I cleaned up row of them about 50 feet long using one blade; and it is still in good shape. I was using my Milwaukee cordless 18 volt reciprocating saw. I will use it again in the Fall to finish up this tedious mosquito infested project. I was glad the blade cut as fast as it did so I could avoid having too many of them fly up my nose.

  3. I don't like to pull out the gas chainsaw out for small jobs. I bought a 18v reciprocating saw and use these blades. They go through small trees with ease. I have used them on small trees with up to an 6 inch diameter. They rip right through them. No mess no fuss.

  4. This multi pack from Amazon is the same price for (1) blade at my local chain store. These blades work great for everyday yard work.

  5. I purchased "Skil 94100-05 Pruning Reciprocating Saw Blades" specifically to use in pruning a flowering pear and a couple live oak trees. Since none of the branches have a diameter greater than 5 inches I thought they would work. Turns out I was right, they were able to walk through the limbs fairly well IF I supplied pressure to the branch to widen the kerf as I cut. The teeth need to be offset from each other to widen the cut as you go. Otherwise, the blade gets really hot, smokes and I would imagine hurts any tempering the blade may have started with. They get the job done, but they could be improved.

  1. I have found that the product "Airaleave" is all that the advertisement claims.
Simple. Attach to your downspout, insert your leaf blower and the downspout is
cleared of all debris. You can't find a product that has eliminated the dangers
of climbing onto your roof and cleaning your downspout. I recommend this product
to anyone who prefers simplicity and a time saver in maintaining their downspouts.

  2. I recently ran into the inventor of this product at the Greater Philadelphia Home and Garden Expo, and he was such an inspiration I had to buy his product. What can I say... It flat out works! Great idea, Great guy, I wish I had thought of this!!!
