- This meter is made by the best meter-making brand out there! Fluke consistently makes top notch, quality products. You will not be sorry if you buy this meter. It is a great meter for a great price!
- This Fluke Multimeter was a wonderful purchase. I couldn't be happier. I bought it so I could bias tube amplifiers, but I find myself using it for other projects as well.
It is accurate, the screen has a switchable backlight and is easy to read, and I'm sure there are functions that I haven't even attempted to use. This is a great value for a multimeter made by one of the leaders in electronics testing equipment.
- My trusty Model 12 took a drop that blew a chunk out of its case. My employer bought me a 117 to replace it. Sweet. 0.1 Mv resolution, freq up to 9999HZ, back lighting, non contact voltage scanning, ect.
I like this meter. The old twelve is now patched up with some epoxy putty and in the trunk of my car. You can not go wrong with a Fluke.

2 comments about Garrity Industries 2Cr123 Lith Daylite Flashlight KDAY3DSC04L.
- Finally AVAILABLE on AMAZON!
Excellent Product! You will be amazed at how this thing lights up the night. Great for outdoors in pitch black. Using the same batteries for over 6 weeks now. No loss of brightness. More light output than some $150 flashlights. lifetime guarantee! See the night pics I posted here:
[...]
Enjoy!
- This is a sleek compact aluminum flashlight that feels durable, is lightweight and comfortable to hold. It is small and light enough to hold with your fingers. You can rotate the end to adjust the beam focus.
This 2cr123 is the most expensive version of the 3 durcell daylites, and will cost you about $40, the other two AA & AAA versions will run you about $30. So the batteries will be more expensive to replace in this one.
However this is the more powerful version featuring 4 watts and 160 lumens versus the 3 watts 80 lumens of the other two.
This is arguably the best flashlight I've ever owned. I have four other flashlights from compact to full size and this one easily outshines them all. It advertises no dark spots and truly delivers on that. I did a brief comparison between the flashlights and this one put the others to shame. The only one that came close was the maglite. The maglite has its advantages. Its a full size flashlight that is extremely durable, and fairly lightweight considering its size. I've dropped the maglite a few times, on concrete and it still works great, and you could literally use it as club, making it an excellent self defense flashlight. In fairness the maglite is also slightly brighter then the duracell in the center circle of its beam. However, the durcaell is much brighter and consistently so all the way to the edge of its beam.
The only complaint I have about the duracell, is the button on the end is a little difficult to push.

- I am happy with the lightweight of this tool. It has worked well with 5/8",1-1/4", and 1-5/8" brads in soft maple and plywood.
I like the ability to change brad lengths without having to look for another tool.
The one disadvantage thus far is there is not a slot for 1-5/8" brads to line up with, you have to use the next length slot. But this has not been a problem yet as to the function of the tool.
- Not a great unit. The head has a tendency to jam up when you're using it.

5 comments about Skil SHD77M 15 Amp 7-1/4-inch Mag Worm Drive Saw.
- Skil SHD77M 7-1/4-inch Mag Worm Drive Saw I Keep three worm drive saws on the Job. The first saw I reach for is the 7 1/4 inch Mag. For deeper cuts I use an 8 1/4 saw. For concrete, masonry and stone I use a modified 8 1/4 inch unit with an added water cooling jet.
- I was considering "trading up" from my old 13AMP SHD77M to this new 15AMP version for only one reason: the additional power. Honestly, I've never found a job that the 13AMP saw couldn't handle. In fact I'd rate that saw a solid 5-stars. That thing is designed to last forever with proper care, and is simply a marvelous machine. But what can I say? If additional power is available, I like to have it. Why did I stop dead in my tracks?
This 15AMP model is now made in China! My trusty 13AMP was made right here in the USA from domestic components. This Chinese saw may look similar to my saw and may work just fine, but I'm not willing to take that chance at this price. If you want to take that chance, be my guest. However, in my experience the raw materials that go into Chinese products have left something to be desired in terms of quality; especially metal parts. In fact, just yesterday, I had a new Chinese tool from a quality name brand crumble in my hands like peanut brittle. I can't say 100% for sure that this will happen with this new Chinese saw, but I sure wouldn't take a bet that it wouldn't either. Americans aren't perfect, but I've found that tools made in the USA have seldom, if ever, let me down. China tools well...it's not a question of "if"; it's a question of "when".
Another consideration you need to make is that the additional power of 15 amps will require a heavier gauged extension cord, and that means extra money if you don't already have a big cord. You could use a 50ft. 14 guage cord with the old model, but this one is going to require at least a 12 guage cord at that length. Additional power also equals additional strain on the gears and internal mechanics. Better pray the Chinamen who made it used some durable, quality steel.
- Shipped & delivered as expected. Shipment arrived in great condition and I would deal with the merchant again.
- After too many years of unsatisfactory results with yellow and gray sidewinder circular saws, I decided I deserved a good worm drive saw. All the reviews of the Skilsaw were pretty positive, and I liked the idea that Bosch had continued making such an old design with limited changes. First use was a revelation, As many have noted, the saw tracks very well, and following a line is no longer a WAG as with a sidewinder. Some other handy features are the depth markings on the shoe adjuster, the folding hanger hook, and even the sole plate has been thoughtfully dimensioned to 1 1/2" on one side of the blade and 3 1/2" on the other. Can you say, "Standard 2 x 4 size"?
In spite of light alloy usage, this a heavy machine. I suppose the weight is something of an advantage as the power output is substantial. It amazes me to see videos of pros using this tool with one hand on framing jobs at scary heights. All in all, a good product, good enough that finding one on eBay for much below market doesn't happen very often.

- My new Skil SHD77M arrived. I heard that there was a problem of the base plate not being flat, but assumed Skil had fixed that. Mine is way out of flat! The whole saw rocks as you place it on the work piece. So, back she goes. What a pain.

5 comments about Kreg MKJKIT Mini Kreg Jig Kit.
- I have heard of these and they looked pretty cool, but I had always used a biscuit cutter and that had always been fine. I decided to buy the small kit to try out and it worked great! I will use it mostly on narrow stock (cabinet frames) where a biscuit is too wide. I probably won't upgrade to the larger kit because this one will do everything I need. This is a nice addition to any shop.
- Great product !!! I used it like the quick and easy to read instructions said and my joints turned out true and tight. I recomend one for every wood worker.
- I did some basic woodworking and used this jig to make the joints ... it was easy to use and it took very little time to finish the project.
- Great product, makes my job easier and more professional. Wow!, the bit is sharp. Be careful touching it, you might just cut yourself. Have been using it for a week now and i am very pleased. I strongly recommend!!
- The mini will cover 80-90% of your casual-use pocket hole needs. Mine came as part of one of Kreg's master kits, and the Mini gets the most use by far. Small and easy to grab, with no setup other than to clamp it in place. It yields exactly the same result as any of the other Kreg jigs, right up to their hydraulic system. It's just slower.
In addition to purely being handy, it does a couple of things the larger jigs can't do or is inconvenient, including taking the jig to the work, and drilling pocket holes on large items like full sheets.
Good jig. Excellent drill.

5 comments about MAGCRAFT® Magnets - 1/4" Rare Earth Cube, Package of 20.
- These magnets are smaller than I figured, but that's because I didn't stop to think what 1/4" looks like. But that doesn't keep me from being beyond satisfied with these magnets. NOTHING will fall off of my fridge. I was literally able to open my fridge door with one of these suckers!
Definitely a good buy.
- I got these as cheaper alternatives to overpriced 'designer' fridge magnets. They are strong. I tend to stack them two together so that I can pull them off the fridge. For things I leave on the fridge, I use one so that they are not easily removed.
- I bought these for use on a wall painted with magnetic primer. We only painted 2 coats (should have done 3) and then painted over it with another color. I was having a hard time finding magnets that would hold anything on the wall. These work great! One tiny cube will hold 2 sheets of paper on the wall.
- Beautiful magnets! Strong, gorgeous shape and finish. Timely delivery. I would highly recommend the company and product.
- This is one of the best toys I've ever had (and I'm 25 y.o.). There is only one warning: You'll want them all!!

- This is an amazing tool. I ujse it to keep our vehicles in showroom condition. It is a great tool.I would recomend this polisher to anyone that is looking for an easy to use tool.
- It was great to receive my polisher so quickly and it has really done as much or more than I expected. Thank you Amazon.com for being an important part of my being able to make this purchase. Boyd Sprague
- This sander/polisher would get five stars if it had a bit more mass to dampen some of the vibration. Otherwise, it runs forever without over heating and is reasonably quiet.
- if your worried about burning the paint this is the buffer you need. light weight , easy to use, does a great job, fast & safe.
-
I recently purchased a Porter Cable 7424 Random Orbit Polisher that I am using on my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT. Black is a difficult color to keep looking showroom new, but the Porter Cable 7424 does the trick. At the age of 64, the old 'elbow grease' is beginning to poop out! Various types & sizes of polishing and buffing pads are available. My pick for a quality liquid wax to be used with the Porter Cable 7424 is Turtle Wax (T6) Liquid Carnauba Wax.

5 comments about Pony 8510BP Cabinet Claw (2-Pack).
- The Pony cabinet claw clamp is the only clamp that can be used to line up face frame cabinets in two planes. The clamp can be used to clamp two cabinet side face frames together, align them and then provide a drill guide to join them together. The clamps are of good quality and perform well.
- After years of using hand clamps, I thought I would give these a try. I couldn't believe how much nicer these were to use. The drill guide is used for the pilot hole and then you swing the guide out of the way and finish with the countersink bit. Put the screw in and you on to the next. A depth stop on the countersink bit makes it easy to stop but I did found that a piece of tape works a little easier and it doesn't get in the way of the drill guide. Since I don't do this for a living, the price from Amazon makes this well worth the money. The tool is made to last a more than a lifetime so it would be something that would be passed down or on to someone else.
- More convenient and faster than using C-Clamps. If one of the stiles refuses to go back flush after tightening up the clamp I use a card board shim only on the side of the stile that needs to be coaxed back flush with the with the other stile. Card board shim strips used for drywall work great.
- Easy to use. The felt on the clamps really protects the wood. Great product.
- Okay -- I'm not a pro, but not an amateur either.... I've done cabinets without this tool and I just did one with this tool. There is no comparison! This tool makes hanging cabinets a BREEZE! You can get the cabinet faces lined up very nicely, drill and counter-sink your screws, pull the cabinet claws and you're done. This tool makes this job SOOOOOOO easy! As some reviews have said -- you're a bit "blind" when you drill the holes because you can't really see into the drill holes/guides. However, as long as your drill is straight and you take the time to mark your drill bit you wont have to worry about the big coming out of the face of the cabinet or thru the other side.
Can you hang cabinets without this tool -- yes. But why would you.... for around $50 your cabinets will be perfect...
One thing I would suggest --- I wrapped electrical tape around the tool to protect the cabinet surface from marring.... Not sure if it would have, but why take the chance....

5 comments about iTouchless DLX Forever Last Flashlight, No Battery Needed.
- Just used it on an overnight fishing trip. Works underwater, floats, no batteries. The main prblem though with this light is that its made of clear plastic. So the light comes out the back of the flashlight. I plan on painting mine to get rid of that problem though.
- This is really a GREAT Flashlight! What a jewel to have along on a camping trip and to keep in the car. A friend bought me one for a present, and ever since I've been giving them to others. Kids just love to get them as gifts.
- As a fireman who works in emergency situations I give this product a D-. The manufacture claims if you shake the light for 1 minute it "will last up to 100 minutes". This is false. I followed manufactures directions and shook for 1 minute (approx. 180 times). What I got was 6 minutes 45 seconds of light which consisted or 3 minutes of good light followed by the rest consisting of dim night light. I repeated this experiment 10 times, each time getting similar results. After that I shook for 2 minutes and lasted for about 8-9 minutes each time. The only reason I gave it one star is because unit if built well. Too bad the light part is very poor. I'm going to return this and try wind 'n go flashlight. I'll update this review after I get it.
- I bought this product a few weeks ago,
and I must say that I was not disappointed
Considering it is a led light it works fine
And the light is more than adequate
- Bought this for my emergency kit to use when the power goes out. Have had it for a few months now - and its still working just fine. Very simple to use, and shines a decent beam of LED light.
