1. The minute I picked up this book, I could not put it down. There are so many great ideas in it, that it makes it almost impossible not to try to be a little bit more organized. I work in Advertising and it's been a great help.It's come in handy when I'm designing because it has such a great sense of space, structure and balance. This book is a must for anyone who needs help getting organized.



2. Dawna Walter should be considered one of England's national treasures! Her book has amazing tips for organizing the home. The book is cleverly divided into sections by room type. Each section has different examples, tips and lots of beautiful photos. Unlike other books on orhanizing the home Walter's does not consist soley of starkly modern interiors devoid of posessions. My favorite tip is to have storage under steps in a stairwell. It's hard to explain, but a picture;s worth a thousand words and the book has plenty! Definitely a book that you will come back to again and again.

1. Excellent Book, Patty knows her information and explains it well. I highly suggest this book to anyone who is challenged with their possessions.



2. My husband (the Pack Rat!) saw this book on the coffee table. The next thing I knew, he was cleaning out the garage! Short, to-the-point and practical, if Patty's ideas can get my husband going, she can help anyone!!



3. Step by step guide on how to finally get organized. If you are tired of being disorganized, losing things and time, this book will help. If you are ready to get organized, I recomnend buying this book and get ready to change your life for the better. Great book Patty!



4. Clutter was the rule. My office was full of it. I hired an organizer to come out and take a look and she said I was beyond hope. Patty's book solved the problem. It was logical. It was rational. It was packed with good tips. If clutter is ruling your life, this is a great investment.



5. This book popped up when I did a search on Amazon for another book. Being that clutter-busting is a passion of mine, I clicked on it and was intrigued by the excellent reviews. Thankfully, I checked with my local library before actually buying it. She breaks the book down into parts entitled "Ready" ... "Set" ... "Go." You don't actually get any real great information until you get to the "Go" section in the latter half of the book, and then it is only to do any in depth look at how to create paper filing systems. This may be a great tool for businesses that have out of control files or need advice on furniture placement, but for everyday household organization, it was a big disappointment. A better title for this book would have been "Office Organization 101."

1. This is a nice book with many lovely ideas for entertaining houseguests. Although many of the ideas submitted apply primarily to owners of bed & breakfast inns, they can easily be used by ordinary hosts and hostesses who wish to demonstrate graciousness and hospitality to their guests.



2. Some women may find the first half of this book useful, certainly if you own or are managing a bed and breakfast this book is a must, but for myself, I don't need to know how to use place mats or any of the other advice here to make my guests feel pampered in my home. Actually I don't want any guests I have to go out of the way for. Plus, I already keep my bathroom sparkly clean. I do that for myself. Maybe a brand new bride who is eager to please her husband's family when they come visiting might find succor here, but not me.
   
   However, the second half of this book is chock-a-block full of delicious recipes from various inns throughout America and I'm a girl who loves to cook, so that alone makes this book a keeper for me. The Poached Eggs with Herbal Stuffing from the Doanleigh Wallagh Inn on page 138 are to die for, just divine. And the Hannah Marie Country Inn's Swiss Apple Flan on page 204 is a nice desert that you'd probably never think of making by yourself. And I just love the Herb Crusted Chicken with Cider Bourbon Sauce from the Inn at Cedar Falls. So in short, this is a good book for anybody who needs to seriously entertain, but if you don't need to do that, you can still reap many benefits from the delicious recipes. I guess you could say this is kind of two books in one.
