  1. This TV is all that I expected. HD is not yet available in my area. However, I can easily change the screen size to accommodate the cable size that is available. At the same time, it is equally easy to change the screen size for DVDs in widescreen.

  2. I like this T.V. The only thing taht I do not like is the remote control, it is too big.

  3. I BOUGHT THIS TOSHIBA 32HL BECAUSE OF HIGH CONSUMER REPORTS RATINGS AND COMMENTS ON AMAZON. FOUND MY BEST PRICE ON AMAZON ALSO. GREAT PICTURE ALTHO I HAVEN'T HOOKED INTO HD SERVICE YET. PRETTY EASY SETUP AND GOOD INSTRUCTIONS AND I'M NO TECHIE! REMOTE IS GREAT BUT KIND OF KLUNKY WITH MY PANASONIC DVD PLAYER. ONE STRANGE THING: NO INTERNAL CLOCK! OR AM I MISSING SOMETHING?? FITS NICELY INTO MY CORNER CUPBOARD... ATTRACTIVE FLAT BLACK CABINET THAT IS NOT DISTRACTING. CHECK CR FOR MORE INFO!

  4. Shortly after 1-year display has a fine dark line on right side in displays over 480 res. Think the line is a burn-in of the right edge of the 480 window. Other than line everything else is great. Priced a replacement display cost is as much as I paid for set.

  5. I bought this tv on 11/24/2006. It is now 09/15/2008 and the tv is broken with a repair estimate of 900.00 plus labor. Sorry I listened to consumer report.

  1. We got this for our 6 year old grandson for Christmas. It is the cutest thing. Plus the picture is great and it is easy to set up to cable. I would recommend it to any parents/grandparents who have a child that is crazy about cars/trucks.

  1. After quite a bit of research, I bought this unit and I am extremely happy. It is very easy to set up - you literally don't have to do anything except plug and play to get started. Of course, if you are so inclined there are all the menus and controls you need to optimize settings for your own situation, create multiple saved sets, etc. I don't even use a screen - just project it on a white wall! I know a screen would make it even better, but its a big win knowing that I don't have to make that investment right now. There are multiple inputs sockets of various types on the back and switching sources is easy. I'm projecting this at low power on a wall 13 feet away and getting an HDTV image nearly 10' diagonal. With the right sound system, you really have your own theater. Since this is a 2005 model, there are numerous discounts available - take time to look just in case Amazon doesn't have the best price at the moment.

  2. Purchase the projector on May of 2006. From then on I watched 1 or 2 movies a week. Picture quality was just fantastic. Just few weeks ago, during the viewing, I heard loud pop, I check and it was the lamp. Since I had it for more than a year I figure I racked up enough hours for it to go dead. Put a new lamp and could not believe what I saw, Lamp was only used for 170 H. What can I say? I knew the projector seems unreasnably hot during the play so I clean the air filter once a month. My warranty expired so I am hoping that my new lamp will last longer than my first one.

  3. I've had my Panny AE900U for 2 years now and what a projector! I clean the air filter religiously but otherwise there is really no maintenance on my unit. Original bulb, no malfunctions with 440 hours logged so far. Highly recommended!

  4. This is hands down the best projector for the money. I think LCD technology is so much more stable and better technology than DLP and this unit doesn't have any "screen door" effect that is often complained of on LCD projectors. I've had mine for almost two years and love it. I have a 92" screen and HDTV looks great. My only caution is you really need a dedicated movie room for this unit with completely controlled lighting. It has a relatively low light output and you'll need to eliminate ambient light for ideal viewing. I have track lighting with a dimmer switch in a basement room and it works great. One more suggestions, use a grey screen designed for HDTV with a 1.8 gain. I recommend the "GreyWolf" series.

  5. We have used this projector for about 4000 hours - it is fabulous Panasonic has always been helpful to us- People are very impressed with the picture it is incredible - plasma (heavy, burn out and more - now that iss a joke - I have an 80 inch picture We watch VUDU, HD direct tv and it is great.
