1. First, the TV came with NO power cord, remote, or user manual. Westinghouse said "sorry, you didn't buy it directly from us." But, I could, and did, but the power cord and remote from them. After all this, my TV worked for 1 whole day. I then had to pay 77 dollars to ship back to CA. They received on July 8th, determined it was not repairable and would replace--oh, I had to call them to get updates. Every week: "Sir, we don't know why the TV hasn't shipped, it should have. We've sent a request to Corporate."
   
   "We show customer is frustrated." Yes, that's what they told me today. It's been over a month since they decided they need to replace their crappy TV and I still don't have it. I will NEVER buy another Westinghouse product of any kind. When I receive this TV, it's going up on ebay or here on Amazon and I'm buying a Sony. Never again. Never! Let them stay in the generators for China business. Oh, and I call them everyday since it's an 866 number. I told them I want to talk to every customer rep they have on staff. I told them I want to get to know each and every one of them, their hopes and dreams and aspirations. I think they appreciate that.

1. I did a lot of research before buying this TV. This was the second best technology out there when I bought it (1080p had just been released), but definitely still the best for the money. 1080p is still at least five years out there (1080p is only useable as of spring '07 with way-too-expensive blueray players, etc.)...and who knows what technology will bring in five years. Anyway, Samsung is one of the best so the TV has great picture quality and colors, it has a sleek and sophisticated look, it's lcd so there's no residual imaging, and on Amazon you can get a heck of a deal. The TV arrived quickly and worked perfectly, and at by far the lowest price anywhere. Great product, smart purchase, full recommendation.



2. I was very impressed with the product and service for this purchase. I would definitely buy from them again is the need arises. Quick, polite, efficient delivery.



3. I use this TV mainly for TV viewing so how it functions as a monitor or gaming device isn't something I would know about. It's my first experience with LCD and I actually went to Circuit City to look at in the store.
   
   The picture is amazing especially in HD. I've watched Discovery's Planet Earth on it and sometimes you feel like you are in the picture. Regular stations are clearer also but you have to stretch it, if you want full screen. Nothing I can't live with.
   
   The best part of LCD is that in a bright room with lots of glare, the picture stands up perfectly. When I first got it, I played a lot with the different types of picture: Dynamic in bright light, Movie at night, etc. but eventually it didn't seem to matter that much.
   
   Overall a great TV. I wouldn't trade it for anything.



4. I bought this TV about a year ago. I love the picture, input & outputs, and general performance. Since that time, I've suffered a large hearing loss, and I've discovered that this set doesn't offer Closed Captioning processing with HDMI inputs. I don't know if that's a typical deficiency for other HD sets, but it has become a serious deficiency for me. Oherwise, I really like the TV, and it would have received five stars.



5. Purchased this TV January 2007. It was fine while it lasted. In July 2008, the picture and sound vanished. The Samsung authorized repairman ordered a circuit board 7/10. It has been 6 weeks and the only response the technician gets from Samsung is "It's on back order." I've never had a problem with a TV so quickly. I've never had a repair move so slowly. Samsung customer service is disappointing. And, the repair will be pricey, if it ever happens.
   
   Talked to Samsumg Customer Service today, 8/21, and they were attentive. The part is on Nationwide back order. Attentive but they can't do anything about it. Seems this isn't unusual. I thought it was. It should be.

1. This TV is amazing. Crisp, bright colors. Smooth finish. I have it wall-mounted in my family room and it is really beautiful. Great price too. I have only had it for two weeks. No complaints so far.

Trust me when i say don't waste your time or money on this 15 inch LCD TV it pure junk. the picture Quality is very poor ,& the Sound is very bad.I bought mine New on a Special one day sale for under $ 130 Dollars + Tax & Extended warr. . This was the 2nd set the first one went blank after 3 days no picture only sound.this TV is also going back to the store for a Refund. i will pay more for a Sharp ,Sanyo or a Sony but they are built better the only reason i gave it a one star rating is because there is no zero, The old saying buy cheap you get Junk !
