1. Fantastic remote! My wife loves the "Help" button. I also have a Pronto, NevoSL, and others, and this is really the best bang for the buck, esp for systems with only 3-4 sources. Tech support is also great (no unintelligable accents). Setup is easy too. If you have a Crestron or AMX but are tired of out-of-sync's or paying for programming, this is the way to go!



2. It took a couple hours to setup, but now that it is, I have had no problems. It currently controls two TV's, a dvd player, two different cable boxes and my PS2.



3. I've had this remote for a couple years and many switch outs of components. It's just awesome. The ability to go on your computer, punch in an A/V model number, and you're on your way is phenomenal. The software can be difficult to figure out sometimes, but for the most part, it walks you through it. I have a brand new TV, and one input for it isn't yet available through the software, but they update that regularly to where in a few weeks, it should be fine. It has taken much abuse lately as I have a 10 year old and a 16 year old, and their friends, so it ends up down in the couch or wherever, and only one button has fallen out. A pen in the spot works that feature just fine, and with the custom set up, I've made it so that spot is not usually used anyway. I'm thinking of upgrading to the 890, as it has Rf Capability and more, and the numbers have worn a little on a few buttons, but moreso because I just have to have the newest stuff. Yeah, it's a guy thing.



4. i received the remote a couple of weeks ago. i started to install the bundled software version 4.0 but did not work on my PC. i then downloaded the newest version 7.0 from the web site and did not work either.
   
   I then spent a couple of hours with the customer service which did not know what to do... finally they suggested to call me back once they figured out what was the problem ... obviously they never did. When i looked the problem up in the net i discovered that it is a common problem and goes back at least 6 months back, i guess it is a conflict between their software and the JAVA Run Time software in my PC.
   
   Anyway, i used my work laptop and went smoothly!!! from this point on the remote is the best thing i have ever bought. i managed to chose my equipments from their smart extensive list of equipments, configure it they i wanted in less than 30 minutes. immediately i managed to get rid of all my old remotes.
   
   So for the software installation glitch i give the remote -5stars especially that it is a persisting problem.
   
   Once the software is on ... i give it +5stars ... and another 5 for the remote.



5. This remote was perfect for Media center until the last software version. For some reason Logitech saw fit to mess this remote up. It is no longer a Media center remote. They have made the green media button, which was the most important button on the remote, inoperable with media center. you have to go into the display menu and find the button to bring up media center and the media center main menu now. Ridiculous. Actually as soon as a find a replacement I will be selling mine.

2. This thing works pretty well. The only thing that kept it from getting the 5th star is the remote can not pair with apple computers. I guess it can pair with Apple TV but that doesn't help me. The convenience of always having the remote with the macbook pro makes up for it not being able to pair with the computer.

1. 2 complaints: first, this thing comes in one of those plastic cases that are nearly impossible to open without cutting yourself...only to find out when you DO open it, you've cut through the instructions book.
   
   Second, it lists many brands that it supports on the back of the package (in our case CyberHome) that are really NOT supported (upon looking through our newly taped together instructions manual, CyberHome is not listed where they give the codes)! So then we used their alternate method for finding codes not listed. Didnt work. So dont trust their claims that this thing has a huge code library. Obviously it doesnt, and obviously they have no problem with false advertising...who knows what else they claim this thing will do, but it doesnt? So dont let your team spirit get in the way of a getting something that actually will work for you!

1. I'm sure this product works great, but it would have been nice to know that it only works with remotes that use AA batteries. You can't use it for a AAA battery remote.

1. This is fine, but be aware that you cannot select different line inputs on your DVD player with this remote. We have our Tivo running into Line 1 and VCR into Line 2 and can't select between them. If you don't have anything running into your DVD player, this should be fine for you.

1. I was amazed by how quickly I received my telephoto zoom lens after ordering. The package was delivered at home and in perfect condition. The lens was exactly what I expected and was purchased much lower than what local competition offered ($300 at local stores versus $140 at Amazon).



2. The possibilities for the pictures you take with this lens are endless! I was amazed at how clear the images were for things that seem to be so far away! This lens is just amazing!
