  1. Over all this is a great product when i first got it I was pleased although the white part around the speaker is not rubber like the normal apple ear buds that you get with an ipod. when you plug this peice into your ipod or other Mp3 it dosent always get a clear sound, you have to twist the plug around in the outlet in order to get better soud quality.Aside from the setback I have no regrets in purchasing this product.

  2. Yeah, they are so cute...that's my favorite color...but that is it when it comes to these headphones. It sounds like your music is in a box and that is never any fun, especially when it comes to the bass in hip hop or R&B...you miss out if the beat is important to the song! But anyway, I don't have an iPod so I don't know if they are made just for them and that's why they sucked, so just buy at your own risk!

  1. I recently bought these headphones due to the fact my cat managed to destroy my 60 dollar sony headphones. The sound quality of these headphones is acceptable when plugged directly into the audio source. When the headphones are put into wireless mode, the sound becomes muffled. It must be noted, however, that when testing these headphones, I was dealing with a lot of wireless devices in the immediate area (keyboard, mouse, routers, phones, and all the devices of my several neighbors.) It is quiet possible that when dealing with less interference the quality could improve.

The headphones run off of 4 AAA batteries (2 in the headphones, and 2 in the receiver), although you can use the headphones without any batteries if you are using them with a wire from the audio source. The idea of using batteries in the wireless receiver surprised me, although there are advantages to this. First off, the receiver does not take up a wall power socket and you can use it anywhere, but the downside is you will have to switch out batteries eventually. I have not owned the product long enough to test its power consumption.

The headphones themselves are fairly comfortable, and are designed to naturally muffle out any noise, although they do not have noise canceling built into them. They are a bit bulky, and if you are trying to look fashionable wearing these while jogging or trying to sneak these into a classroom, look for another product.

Here are a few pros and cons of the product, for the lazy people who just want a bulletin style review.

    Pros
-CHEAP! Very affordable for wireless headphones
-Versatile, with different options. Allows you to use them wirelessly OR wired.
-Decent sound quality when wired (nothing to get too excited about)
    -Fairly Comfortable
-Comes with a Y adapter and a 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm adapter.

    Cons
-Muffles sound quality when used wirelessly.
-Requires 4 AAA batteries to use wireless capabilities
    -Looks bulky, and not sleek.

For what you're paying, this is a pretty good product. Don't expect it to compete with Bose or Sony's headphones, which are much more expensive headphones. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the product and recommend it to a buyer on a budget.

  1. These headphones lack clarity, no effective range really. I was not satisfied with the vendor either, and they are sitting in the box they came in.

  2. I can't complain too much about the headset not being stereo (what's the deal with the "L" and "R" on the earcups and the two-wire leads?) when you realize I only spent $15 on it. It was a bit deceiving, I think. The headset is one of the more comfortable ones around, besides being wireless. I connect it to my stereo which is connected to my satellite dish so I watch TV with them, not annoying my neighbors. I've even purchased extra sets to give as gifts to friends.

  3. Fast delivery great seller, product wasn't the headset I wanted I had made a mistake on my choice, but the seller refunded right away. I will do business with this seller again in the future. Very professional. Thank you
    Cynthia

  4. This is a good product for the price, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE A FRESH 9V IN THE TRANSMITTER. It does not come with batteries- I will bet that those reviewers who complain of static "out of the box" scrounged a partly-used battery from something else. The transmitter devours 9v's quickly, and as the battery drains the headphones start to buzz and static. With a fresh battery, they are perfect- my TV is upstairs, and I can go downstairs and fix a sandwich and still hear perfectly. But, the transmitter really needs an ac adapter.

Also, on a TV with multiple sound outputs, it will only work for the output you attach it to.

  5. I bought 2 pr of H1000 headphones. Didn't buy from here and am returning tomorrow, but I will post this review everywhere I can. I have never had such a poor customer service experience in my life. When I get great service, I overtip, or talk the manager and tell him how pleasant my experience was with the CS rep, etc. A lot of people work in retail and customer service. Some bad, some good. I get that. But you can't only gripe about the bad. I balance it both ways. I walk away feeling good and so does the CS rep, and the manager.

2-3 emails at most and here is the last from a "VP" in the company. I mean obviously she better grow a tougher hide if she can't take a bit of heat, but good grief. Read below. Opinions welcomed.

Please do not contact our company any further. If you are unsatisfied with a product, return it. But do not contact us. Based on the below email the help you require is not within our realm of expertise.

Okay, thanks James! Great, yet utterly useless info. Like mastercard, your response is priceless! If you remember correctly, my first email said, "I am tech savvy" and then I gave detailed, precise 123 descrip of what I had done as product instructions, to show I was no idiot. YOUR REPSONSE, to quote: You can only use one transmitter per household.

Cutting a bunch of useless info but I guess this got them whacked:

I have been PC savvy for 23 years, pre-windows. I was probably using computers before you were out of diapers. Cut me a break. Men and tech. Unreal.

Anyway, all done, anytime I see Sentry, I will come back here, cut and paste this review.

Okay, off to find a decent pair of wireless headphones that actually work.

  1. I am not a fan of earbuds, so I would have to say that the one brand of headpones that I can trust is Sony. I have purchased many different kinds of headphones and I have to say for being small and compact these are well worth the price. The only downside that I can think of is that the cord is way too long, it is not necessary. Other than that, its a great product that delivers great sound.

  2. I just got these headphones and i love them.... they not only look cool but have awesome sound. I mainly use my headphones at the gym with ipod works really well i can hear my music despite the gym music. Also the wire is long enough.
Get these.. they are real good...

  3. I am very pleased with these headphones. I got them to replace a 3 year old pair from Sony that was the precursor to this model. I still use the early model, but they are a little uncomfortable after a while. Which is why I bought this pair, once you get used to them these are quite comfortable, and they have very good audio quality. I put these through pretty tough wear and abuse and they have held up very well.

  4. The sound is excellent. The wiring is better than some others I've had because it doesn't get tangled easily.
The ear clips are bent too sharply and don't fit well around the ear.
I probably would try some other product before I ordered these again...because of the fit.

  5. I love music and I take my Zen player with me everywhere, I mean I NEVER leave home without it. So naturally I've gone through a few pairs of headphones, and I absolutely LOVE the clip on ones. They don't mess up your hair and they can't fall off your ears. You can even leave one ear free to talk on the phone or whatever, and still not miss a minute of music! Awesome! And these are black so they match with everything, I highly recommend!

  1. One word "Bass" beat any 15 inch in the back of import rice rocket.
Great clarity in the mid as well.
The tradeoff is the highs, Certain music that emphasize highs sounds muddy and staticly. A great second pair IEM not first. A great compliment to etymotic ER-4, westone UM2 and Shure se420.

If you find it $130 than its a bestbuy, not at $179.

  2. These are the best ear buds around. First off, you need to use the foam sleeves in order to get a great seal. That will make all the difference. The foam sleeves are meant to be used only for a month or two before you need to replace them. You can get replacement sleeves from future sonics website. I have used Shure, Sennheiser, Bose, and many others. Future Sonics custom inner ear monitors are used by many of the best musicians in the world such as U2, Alicia Keys, The Police, Daughtry, Allman Brothers, Bon Jovi, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Counting Crows, Eric Clapton, and Pearl Jam just to name a few. Go to the Future Sonics website to see the list of musicians and sound professionals who use Future Sonics products, you will be impressed - it is over 400 names long. The clarity is great, the mids are great, and the bass is outstanding(make sure you have them inserted correctly). I use these on airplanes, at the gym, to mow the yard and stay in my ears comfortably. Break them in for a good 20 - 30 hours and they will be really ready to go. Do not look any further. At roughly $150 these are outstanding. You will not be disappointed.

  1. Holy Cow! I thought force feedback gamepads and joysticks were as far as we would ever get in gaming immersion....and then along comes the Saitek GH30 Vibration Headset (PH04AU)!
For fighter jocks and even ground pounders you will get a real idea of how the experience of combat sounds and FEELS!
The concussion from arty rounds and just firing your own weapon really adds that little extra to the game. Listening to the sounds of prop or jet engines really is amazing...it adds a whole new dimension to the games of flight sims and first person shooters.
The volume controls for both sound and vibration lets you configure the headset for your individual comfort. you can go from zero vibration...to head rattling, bone jarring, filling loosining madness! and everything in between.
The headset is obviously a little heavier than the standard headset because of the vibration motors necessary for its operation but one can quickly get used to that or you can use it as a gauge for when it's time to take a break from combat....either way I was not dissappointed with the product and for the price it looked like a bargin to me.
The headset itself is very comfortable to wear, very well designed and put together. The boom mike which comes with it is unobtrusive and after a few minutes you forget it's even there.
Overall sound quality is excellent and in my humble opinion far above the norm for this price range. Bass response is outstanding.
The hook up was easy....just like any other headset which connects directly to your sound card....the USB adapter powers the force feedback vibration motors or you have the option of using another adapter using battery power form 2 AA's.
You can even use it to listen to music...just close your eyes...crank up the volume and vibration control....and BINGO!! you are AT the concert on stage and...well you get the idea.
Only time will tell how the headset holds up under continious use but it looks and feels quite sturdy.
Now if only Saitek will design and market a quality force feedback joystick and rudder pedals....that would be perfection indeed...for flight simmers at least.

  2. This headset did not work properly from the start.

    1) No computers (running OSX or Windows XP) were able to even recognize these headphones as either an output or an input device. Thus, you can't even select it as an input.

    2) There's no CD or software or drivers that accompany the product, and the company website does not have any mention of it either.

    3) There is a thumping static sound coming from the headphones, even when the vibration feature is turned off.

    4) I never cared about this feature, but the vibration never ever worked.

This is one of the most poorly designed products I have ever seen.

  3. I really wanted to leave a review to straighten the record on this headset. The vibration feature is awesome, when cranked it'll make you literally jump out of your seat when someone sneaks up on you and fires from close range! It's truly awesome! The previous review by I. Chan is quite mistaken, there are no USB drivers because this is not a USB headset, it is analog using a standard speaker jack. The USB connector is merely the power for the vibrating force-feedback feature (which requires USB 2.0). He must have had it plugged into the older USB 1.0 type port which doesn't have the same amount of power output. If he had read the outside of the packaging or the included instructions it would have been clear to him.

The sound quality on these is excellent and they're quite comfy and durable. My only complaint is the microphone. It's not amplified in any way and is very, very weak. I could hardly be heard when using Teamspeak. Really the Mic is quite useless. Otherwise, this is an awesome headset. Highly recommeded as long as you don't need the mic.

  4. to be honest i ended up buying a cheaper headset from wal-mart with way better quality.. people couldnt understand what i said most of the time and there was always static!

  1. I bought these and received a pair that had a short in the cord. I called the company, returned the headphones and received another set very quickly. Sound is pretty good and the volume slider is nice. They are comfortable and seem to be pretty sturdy.

  2. For this price these things are amazing! They are so clear and comfortable. I worried about the way they tuck over the tops of my ears but honestly I can't even really feel them they are so light! Having the volume control hanging in front of me is also really nice.
