- I've bought a few different headsets, from all in one head phone sets to pendant style. The JVC's sound quality is VERY good, even with the included headphones.
The microphone is in the body of the device so in order to use it as a headset you need to clip it to either a shirt pocket or your collar (not exactly comfortable when wearing a t-shirt).
I enjoy the ability to swap headphones (especially for a set with a longer cord).
Another nice thing is that if I'm using this to play music from my phone over my car stereo and a call comes in I just clip the receiver to my seat belt and I've got a handsfree set.
I'm using this with an HP1200tx and a T-Mobile Wing.
- Pairing up with different devices was simple enough. BUT I must say the sound quality is pretty poor. I thought that the headphones were the issue and tried different ones but with the same result in each case. There was a definite scratchy sound in the background of each song I listened to. I tried adjusting the volume levels and equalizer settings on my computer but all to no avail. I even did comparisons with the headpones connected directly to my computer and with them connected to the device and found a such a big quality difference (no scratchiness when connected directly to the computer) that it depressed me really. For such a promising device I was hugely dissappointed!

- Well, just got these a cpl days ago and tried out in a flight. I love them now for all these reasons:
- Good feel, good high-end quality;
- Foldable and very portable;
- Grrreat noise canceling effect!
- the wire can easily be detached from the earcup, thus i was enjoying the quiet flight without any need to listen to the music or TV, or else..
The only thing is that this model is powered by 2AA batteries, which are not included, but i bought those in the airport.
Really good quality model. My 5 stars to it!
- I just got these headphones Thursday, brought them to work on Friday with brand new batteries. I shut the headphones off before leaving work Friday, they have this annoying beeping sound so you can't forget to shut them off if they're not on your head. I came back to work on Monday and the headphones had mysteriously eaten the brand new batteries. The whole point was to cancel noise at work, but I can't be supporting their battery habit.

- These are direct replacements for the original ear sleeves that came with my E4c's. The sleeves come off and are easily lost. I "notched" the tube that the sleeve slides over to keep the sleeves in place. This cured the problem (Shure, are you listening?). Overall, these is a good value and they fit well.

5 comments about V-Moda Vibe Earbuds - Blush.
- I just got them today, plugged them into my laptop to play an orchestral piece. It was a bit bass heavy for my taste. The Shure E2 was a lot clearer for my taste when listening to classical. Now, I'm sure if I used them on my iPod and change the EQ settings I probably can get the sound I want. But the box did say that it's bass heavy, so maybe not.
Aside from my own preference these earbuds are great. I'm sure listening to other styles would be awesome. I'll write a review again when I use it on the train listening to jazz, hiphop, rock and bluegrass.
I just a review that it needs time to break in, so the sound may be different after 2 days.
- The last pair of headphones I owned was the Bose TriPort headphones (the ones that go over the ear and fit around them) and I am so very impressed at the fact that these little buds are more powerful than these massive cans! I was a little skeptical at first because 'V-moda, who the *$%# are these guys?' But my Bose garbagephones left channel quit working after 6 months of use. As I looked at the flimsy rubber that connected the cord to the jack, it reminded me exactly like a pair of headphones for $2.99 on the clearance rack. No wonder they stopped working, they are built like garbage! I saw the cord design of the V-Moda's and I thought "now this makes sense, a straight plug held together by metal housing!". The colors match my iPod's case, they are tiny, and extremely lightweight. Even at first use I was blown away by the quality of sound, the bass is extremely powerful; a much more powerful punch than the Bose, but not so powerful to the point where it distorts any midrange and highs. The soundstage is completely enveloping; the moment I put these headphones on, they fit perfectly in my ears and sucked out a good chunk of outside noise (not perfectly isolating, but adequate for quality sound, better than the Bose). Upon first wearing them, they felt uncomfortable at first, almost a painful uncomfortable, but I just needed to change the fitting to the next size up, then no problems. They say that you have to 'burn them in' by letting them run for 12 hours, After using them for about 6, the sound is getting better and better. The bass at first is overpowering, but the mids and treble start mixing themselves in and you get a perfect blend of truly blissful sound. The soundstage of the bose over-the-ear headphones had space to resonate around the ear, and that created a unique soundstage, but bass notes at certain frequencies felt inconsistent, by comparison to the Vibes, the sound is straight-to-the-cranium intense. Sound is very incredible, perfect for portable music players. Other, more expensive headphones obviously will get a more 'genuine' sound, but I couldn't imagine what more you could want when using an MP3 player.
- I had these for approximately 6 months. They sound spectacular. However after a few months of carrying them on my person with their pouch the cords frayed and broke right underneath the buds, revealing copper wire. These sound so amazing but are not worth the heartache.
- These earbuds sound fine, but not exceptional. I expected better.
What annoys me most is that the stereo plug has come apart after only about a months use. Granted, the socket was pretty tight, but that same socket didn't destroy any of several other headset plugs I've used.
- The sound was great but the rubber around the plug ripped and exposed the wire. If you use your earbuds as much as I do, get one with a different kind of plug. The kind with the L shaped rubber with the "flex" ribs. This just had too much stress on the cable.
I loved it while it lasted though. Paid way too much for earbuds that only last a year though.

5 comments about Skullcandy TiTan Earbuds - Metallic Green.
- A nice step up in detail, punch and dynamics from the Sony EX-71 earbuds. I've tried several other under-$200 earbuds (Shure, Etymotic, Bose) and hated them -- no bass. The SkullCandy earbuds don't have quite enough bass for my taste and don't create quite as good a seal (with the stock silicone cups) as the Sony's, but overall these are the best I've heard for under $200.
Just to be a contrarian, the thing I miss most about the Sony earbuds is the asymmetrical cord, with the right side longer than the left for looping behind the neck. I find myself constantly tangling the cord of the SkullCandy earbuds and squinting to see which earbud goes in which ear.
- I recently upgraded to these from my old Inkd' buds and I have to say I was expecting a bit more.
There isn't a lot wrong with these or anything, cord length is good as always, and the jack is set well (something that can be rare these days). Overall sound is excellent and has a wonderful balance of treble and bass. I guarantee that no note will go unnoticed with these, but other than the new more powerful bass I could have said the same of my old Inkd' as well... While bass is now a LOT stronger on these compared to my buds of old, I'm not entirely sure if it warranted dropping an additional $40 just for that; since that's all that has really changed... Actually, that isn't true, they're also heavier due to the metal housing, and I don't know what to make of that. On one hand they don't fall out or anything even when I'm active, but on the other I definitely know they're there.
I've also tried the Full Metal Jackets and I really can't tell the difference between those and these at all except for the fact that these only come in 11mm drivers while the Jackets came in both 9mm or 11mm, and these don't have an in-line volume control which may be a detraction for some but also why I chose them over their predecessor.
Something else that is kind of a let down is that they don't come with the three sets of soft rubber sleeves previously standard on all Skullcandy buds. Instead you get one set (the medium size) and two sets of "Comply" foam nubs, both the same size. These are supposed to form to fit your ear canal like earplugs would, and isolate the sound better. But they didn't fit mine at all (I guess I have circus ears or something) and thus they sounded a bit poor when they did stay in... Another problem with these is that like earplugs, even if you keep them and your ears clean, their porous nature means that every time you use them ear-gunk builds up and eventually ruins them. While you do get two pairs and instructions on how to order more, you would better spend your time ordering a set of the old soft rubber sleeves instead. They sell them on their site and they're about the same price, or if you're like me you can toss the ones from your old buds on there; they're still compatible luckily.
I managed to find a pair of these for $20 new, so for me it was a good buy. But if you're about to drop $50 on them, you might want to think about it...
Also, if you are ordering them on amazon, make sure you check the customer images for the correct colors. I ordered a pair of metalic green originally thinking it was like the lime green of the Full Metal Jackets, but was sorely disappointed when I saw that they were in reality the nasty sea green of the new iPods and had to return them for gray. In an attempt to help others I've uploaded the missing colors and the true color of the blue. I hope it helps!
- For $50 I expected much more.
cons: Uncomfortable - even with foamies, I really had to jam these in my ear to make them work.
Mediocre sound quality - bass was not that bad but the treble tended to have a ringing metallic quality. ah, I almost forgot about the midrange... oh yeah that's right there wasn't any.
pros: they looked cool.
the little zippered case and extra foamies was nice addition.
sound isolation was good, albeit painful.
conclusion: I can't think of any music that would sound good with annoyingly metallic highs and no midrange. The foamies made a world of diff. over the silicone buds but that's not saying much. You have to cram these in your ear to get any bass response which I guess is how its supposed to work but it was just too uncomfortable for any period of time. If these were like 20 bucks then I might have not been so disappointed, good thing I got them at Target, cause they went straight back.
- I used to own SkullCandy before, a pair of their budget "Ink'd" buds. Needless to say they sounded bad, crinkled when you put them into your ears, and weren't even marked L or R so there was no way to tell. But a lot of people liked them, so I decided to try a little higher and buy these. Well, no surprise here, they weren't much better. They are marked L and R, so that's good, but the good pretty much ends there. The sound was terrible at first (and they still crinkled when you put them in), so I let them burn in for a while. They improved a bit, though the fit was still painful, and the included foam tips were too big for my ears. But they started sounding better so I gave them a chance. Then I put my Zune premium headphones on (which are about the same price as these here on Amazon, but they came free with my Zune) and even those sounded better. Maybe I just don't like the crazy bass, maybe I keep getting duds, maybe my ears are weird. I don't know. All I know is that I don't think I'll be going near SkullCandy again unless they're free. I'm no audiophile, so I was willing to forgive since the last pair I owned were only 10 bucks, but these were 45 and they still didn't meet my expectations. And I find it a little harder to forgive a pair of 45 dollar buds when earbuds from a company which doesn't even specialize in making them sound better to me. Just my 2 cents though. Make up your own mind and listen for yourself.
- I had my backpack stolen and in them were my second pair of Sony MDR-EX51LPs that I got after the left ear died in my first pair. When looking for replacements I decided to try something new and looked around at alot of reviews and these had the best overall reviews from the most sources. Here are my thoughts on these buds.
Pros
- Sound quality is pretty good but nothing really noticable above my sonys (from what I remember)
- Durability, these seem to be built well, had thicker wire than my sonys
- Different sets of ear pieces
Cons
- Around $25 more than the Sonys
- DO NOT MOVE when wearing these... the feedback from the wire is HORRIBLE. There is no way I could work out in these without going insane
- Not the most comfortable buds ever... the bigger 11mm speaker makes quite a bit of difference in fit. Also I cant put my head down flat in these buds and still be comfortable.
- (minor) The jack isnt a right angle jack.
Overall, if the feedback from the wire wasn't sooooo bad these phones would be much better. If that improved and the comfort was a little better these would be 5 stars with ease.
However, the feedback is a major problem and I just might look to try to sell these and get me another pair of Sonys!

- I tried low end & high end headphones looking for a comfortable fit . these phones rock . you barely feel them on & they sound great . to be honest with you i found no difference between ultrasone & sennheiser's . experts stated you can hear the high's & the lows . thats all non sense . they must have been using 5.00 dollar chinese made headphones for them to be describing a fair priced decent headphones. for about 50.00 dollars you can get great sounds from any headphone on the market . now thats just my opinion.
- I owned other Sennheiser headphones for about 10 years. I even slept while wearing them-- they were that comfortable. When they finally wore out I purchased the HD415 and love them. They are tremendously comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. I have only slept wearing these once so far and it was great. What I especially like is that the cord is only on one side. I would never buy headphones from any other company.
- For those who say it is uncomfortable, it's probably because you have a bigger head. Just extend the headphones to their max, and it should feel fine from there.
Aside from comfort, the headphones do have great sound, and they're sounding better the longer I listen to them.
The headphones, though, are made of cheap materials. That's the only drawback. otherwise, an excellent deal.
- Very good cans for the money. Will impress most users except the demanding audiophile, then again, not audiophile priced headphones. Quite comfortable for long wear and convinient cable winder. Great gift item.
- great sounding headphones.
1 these headphones are huge, so there is the sound with them and the size.
2 you need a little more power to drive them
3 they sound great but not as good as the iluv noise cancellers. that is what is missing.

- These Bluetooth Headphones work great. The sound quality is fantastic and they work with all of my bluetooth compatible devices. The greatest feature is that they are collapsible. I can store them anywhere. I had logitechs and they broke in the first month. These are very sturdy and reliable. The battery lasts for over 12 hours. Its pretty fantastic. I highly recommend these because of their portability.

1 comments about Nike SHJ025 Flexible Earhook Headphone - White.
- I purchased these as a possible replacement for a dead pair of Sony MDR-J10 h.ear Headphones "with Non-Slip Design" from my local Apple Store. I had a hunch they might suck but thought Nike would put out a better product than this. I was definitely wrong. The fit is awkward and as is common to most average in-ear headphones, they suffer the malaise of punchy highs, a mediocre mid range, and a dead low range.
The posture in the ear, on the ear, and the width of the bud is just awkward and doesn't reward with better sound, comfort, or anything else I could think of. The only thing worthy of mentioning is the flexible form of the ear hook which is good for rough and tumble play in a gym bag, etc. Nike only really promotes the ear hook as the defining factor of these on the back of the box, now it's easy to see why.
