- They are OK headphones, I don't consider myself an expert but I wasn't blown away, I guess for the price it's a good buy. I just needed a good pair of headphones for running and for tha they are OK.
- Having spent more than twice the amount for other sport earphones which rendered useless in less than a year, I was looking for a cheap but workable replacement. That's what I found with these. They deliver so-so sound but since I'm running with them, I'm not looking for a concert experience. They are not adjustable, which would make them more comfortable but again, for the price, they do the job just fine and stay put during walking and running. One thing to keep in mind is that the wireis very long and if you plan to use these with your ipod in an armband, you'll have lots of excess cord to deal with. I either wrap it around my ipod or thread the wire through my shirt and leave the excess inside of my shirt to eliminate it bouncing around when I'm running.
- I love these headphones. They stay put and unlike the iPod headphones these actually fit my ears! I've been jogging lately and never have any problems with slippage. I like the color too, very girlie and it matches my iPod armband and case!
- Overall good sound quality, but not the color I thought. They were more red than orange.
- I've used these earphones for over a year now and love them. They're great for sleeping in and working out in. I can't really comment on sound quality as I'm not a huge audiophile, but they sound pretty decent to me compared to some phones I've owned before.
The best part about these are their ability to withstand almost anything. My office was flooded and these phones were actually submerged in water for a while, but came out unscathed. Amazing.

- I tend to run through earphones. I used them to edit my novels, listening to them on ReadPlease. It's a great help, keeps me focused to where I hear the typos my eyes don't notice. Being rough on them, I bought two pair, a set from Sony, which were very nice for the prices. However, I found this pair from Panasonic superior. The clarity is amazing, plus the range -- when you listen to music you are in tune heaven!
There is a better buffer for your ears. The construction keeps them on your ears, instead of just there. They are made so you just don't notice them on. Light as a feather.
Price, comfort and performance, they are outstanding.
Highly recommended.
- I had a good experience with Panasonic headphones previously. So, I bought this RP-HT46 Headphone. I was very disappointed to say the least. The sound is very weak compared to other heaphones and there's no bass at all. Even though they are light, it's still uncomfortable to wear them due to its tight head band. I had to return it (even though they are cheap) just to make a point. Granted they were made in China, still I cannot believe Panasonic is putting its trade mark on this junk headphones.
- I really like this product because it allows me to adjust the volume on my ipod easily while I am at the gym.

- My teens love them...great sound, love the fact that the earpieces rotate (?). I have not used them myself; just reporting that they think they are great!
- Well worth the price for these they sound awsome and feel awsome and i wear them for hours on end almost daily at my pc with a headphone jack extender line the only con i can find is they are not great for small things like my Mp3 player where earbuds work better and they slide off when walking sometimes but over all i love these :)
- i bought the headphones to use with my psp, so far they sound great. the bass is incredible and the highs and lows are really clear. the only real problem i have with them is that even with my small ears covered by the headphones, outside sounds stills gets through even with my volume at max.

- I tried low end & high end headphones looking for a comfortable fit . these phones rock . you barely feel them on & they sound great . to be honest with you i found no difference between ultrasone & sennheiser's . experts stated you can hear the high's & the lows . thats all non sense . they must have been using 5.00 dollar chinese made headphones for them to be describing a fair priced decent headphones. for about 50.00 dollars you can get great sounds from any headphone on the market . now thats just my opinion.
- I owned other Sennheiser headphones for about 10 years. I even slept while wearing them-- they were that comfortable. When they finally wore out I purchased the HD415 and love them. They are tremendously comfortable and the sound quality is excellent. I have only slept wearing these once so far and it was great. What I especially like is that the cord is only on one side. I would never buy headphones from any other company.
- For those who say it is uncomfortable, it's probably because you have a bigger head. Just extend the headphones to their max, and it should feel fine from there.
Aside from comfort, the headphones do have great sound, and they're sounding better the longer I listen to them.
The headphones, though, are made of cheap materials. That's the only drawback. otherwise, an excellent deal.
- Very good cans for the money. Will impress most users except the demanding audiophile, then again, not audiophile priced headphones. Quite comfortable for long wear and convinient cable winder. Great gift item.
- great sounding headphones.
1 these headphones are huge, so there is the sound with them and the size.
2 you need a little more power to drive them
3 they sound great but not as good as the iluv noise cancellers. that is what is missing.

- Well, just got these a cpl days ago and tried out in a flight. I love them now for all these reasons:
- Good feel, good high-end quality;
- Foldable and very portable;
- Grrreat noise canceling effect!
- the wire can easily be detached from the earcup, thus i was enjoying the quiet flight without any need to listen to the music or TV, or else..
The only thing is that this model is powered by 2AA batteries, which are not included, but i bought those in the airport.
Really good quality model. My 5 stars to it!
- I just got these headphones Thursday, brought them to work on Friday with brand new batteries. I shut the headphones off before leaving work Friday, they have this annoying beeping sound so you can't forget to shut them off if they're not on your head. I came back to work on Monday and the headphones had mysteriously eaten the brand new batteries. The whole point was to cancel noise at work, but I can't be supporting their battery habit.

- I got these headphones to replace my old Roland RH-25s. The Rolands didn't have the treble crispness or bass response that I wanted. These headphones sound great at all frequencies. The bass is clean but not overpowering. The treble end is plenty crisp. I never knew my iPod had so much to offer! For what it's worth, I listen to almost exclusively classical music.
I like the fact that these shut out outside sounds so well. They're not as comfortable as the ATH-M40fs's, but these sound better, in my opinion (my dad has the M40fs). With some adjustment, these can be worn for a few hours with no problems. They also fold up too, which is pretty awesome. One thing about them: they're built like a tank. A little heavy, but who cares, anyway? The cord is a good length, nice to have the coiled part if you need it. Overall, I'm glad I paid the incredibly low price at Amazon to get these.
- Very tight and crispy! Great for PCs and MP3s. via Audigy2 ZS
Depeche Mode's "Behind The Wheel" sounds just stunning. Very '80s, synth friendly.

- Incredible sound, incredibly portable - but after 30-45 minutes of use (say, in front of computer watching a dvd, or on the plane with your ipod) my head & ears start to ache. Subtle, numbing sensation creeps up until I can't stand it any more and have to take them off.
Great sound & ez portability doesn't overcome the comfort issue and I'm selling. Maybe your head is shaped sufficiently different from mine? Hope so, 'cause these phones are excellent otherwise.
- It's hard to find concrete examples of planned obsolescence but the Audio Technica ATH-PRO700 SV "Professional" Monitor Headphones are just that. One would expect headphones which cost upwards of $250 that claim to be professional quality to last a good deal of time. I can search eBay and find studio headphones from the 70's that are still functioning great. However the ATH-PRO700's were not designed to last. The engineers at Audio Technica were clearly pressured by the Executives at the top to encourage the consumers of this process to again buy a new pair sooner than later if they want a functioning product. They did a good job at that.
When I purchased these headphone roughly a year ago I ignored the (now missing from Amazon) reviews that these headphones would break as soon as you purchased them. I did this because the design makes these headphones "looks so durable and well prepared for rugged environment[s]." This is a deception. Within a month the poorly made plastic parts on the right side that adjust the speakers to the head broke. I then used a giant paper clip and a twist tie to keep it together. This lasted for a year until the left side broke. Now I have both parts of these headphones supported by the most ugly reenforcement possible. Here is the thing....
I work as a web designer and these headphones have never left my office. NOT ONCE! They are not being used in an environment where drunk frat boys are lighting bottle rockets and killing hookers. It's in a boring officer where the most sever stress placed on them is when I have to quickly take them off because someone needs me to fix a problem. Ooh! Any professional would laugh at these models of expensive consumer trash.
But one the plus side they do sound amazing. It's why I have no problems wearing what is the equivalent to over bearing unsightly headphone orthodontics. When the rubber head part breaks (which it feels like it's about to) then I will have to strip everything out of the headphone and purchase a shell from a 70's pair and replace the parts. Oh yes. That is the extent to which I will not give into Planned Obsolescence.
Don't buy this product unless you like either recycling electronics or enjoy spending an unnecessary amount of money on what is more or less a toy.
- A friend at work introduced me to these headphones. That's what friends are for. A week after receiving them I ordered a second pair; one pair for work and one for home. I got tired of trucking the first pair to work and back home.
I listened to music I must have listened to a thousand times before and discovered music I'd never heard. My music collection had acquired a new lease on life. Do NOT operate heavy machinery or care for small children while using these headphones! (Don't even think about driving.)
A few months later I bought my third pair. This pair was simply for loaning to friends so they could share in the experience. (I wasn't about to part with my work/home duo.)
One of the most rewarding purchases I've ever made.

- Just bought these at my local Apple Store and they are just wonderful. Hated the Bose buds. Loved my B&O buds that I accidentally threw out with the Sunday Times. Great for the price. These are perfect for people like me who just can't comfortably insert earphones into their narrow canals. Overall sound is lush...though you do have to wiggle them around to find just the optimum sound. But they are so snug fitting! I've always loved Sennheiser cans and the company remains consistent in terms of quality. Can you do better? Sure...for double the money. And then something else will just come around. For the street I can't imagine anything better. A hearty endorsement!
- I am very happy with these earbuds. I really like the Sennheiser twist to fit system. They take a little getting used to, but are very comfortable and secure. I also like the inline volume control. The case is much better than the folding cloth case of previous models. The sound is great for a pair of earbuds. I am not an audiophile, but I am a musician with a good ear. These buds make the most of the sound you are going to get from a portable device playing mp3's. My only wish would be for a clip to secure the cord to my shirt so it is not flopping around so much while I am exercising. Overall, I am a very happy customer.
- I am a Sennheiser believer (religiously so). I have several of their headsets and they are as good today as when I purchased them - some more than 40 years ago. The MX-90-VC dissapointed me. The directions explaining all the rubber, foamy, gasket thingees they give you a bag of are AWOL. You have to figure this out for yourself and the skimpy picture on the multi-language packing cardboard (so everyone, including Martians, can be as confused as I) are of no value. Let me say that I am in the business and have purchased thousands of headsets, earphones, etc. in my career. These don't seem to "sit" well in the ear canal no matter which thingee you try. When you press them in with both index fingers - they sound great; good top and even decent bottom sound. However, everyone will think you have a continuing migraine if you do this. So, sadly, I returned them to the bubble wrap. I don't believe in returning small items. And who knows; I may run into a Martian who can decipher the instructions and enlighten me on the use of these Earphones.
- Listen up sennheiser: you should not put your high-end brand name on cheap headphones! You are diluting your own trademark.
First, I think the twist-to-fit design does work well. That's why I gave it 2 instead of 1 stars.
But the sound quality does not deliver. They are not loud enough to overcome ambient noise when in a vehicle. The shielding looks cheap. And regardless of what your specs say, frequency response is flat at best.
But you sure did get fancy with the packaging! It takes ten minutes to wrestle the headphones out of the box, which is as complicated as an origami crab. And it comes with an ugly, useless carrying case.
What a shame!
