5 comments about Koss Headphone Carrying Case for KSC75, KSC9, KSC7, KSC17, P14, and P16.
  1. According to the product description, this case (well made & solid) is far too large to be useful for storing my new KSC75 earphones. I could probably fit 3 pairs of the earphones in the case. I was hoping for something I could tuck into a carry bag. I have written to Koss asking if another of the cases would be more suitable, but they haven't responded.

  2. I had been looking for a way to take my PortaproKoss PortaPro Headphones with Caseheadphones with me and not completely destroy them (like the last pair) and this case fits the bill. It's light but firm enough to protect your headphones from bumps and pressure.
The case showed up before the headphones so I was using it for a bit with Koss 159823 SportClip ultra light stereoph my koss earclip headphones (which were good and all but the sound paled in comparison to the Portapro, the speakers are held more snugly to your ear with the Portapro and that greatly improves the sound) and there was room to put both the headphones and my ipod (60 gig color) which is a bit on the large side. There is a flap of fabric inside ( i assume it is there to put earbuds in or possibly to tuck the cord) that I used to seperate the two.

If you have tiny earbuds or small clip style headphones and want to kep your player in there too or have the Portapro headphones this would be awesome.

  3. This is a strong case that fits both my Sandisk Sansa E-260 and Koss KSC-75 headphones. However, my perceived value for this case is at a maximum of ~$3.00. $10 is quite expensive.

  4. I'll agree with the reviewer who said this case was sturdy but way too big for the headphones it claims to match. I have Koss KSC9 Sportclips, which are mentioned in this case's list of supported Koss headphones. However, taking into account the reviews saying this case ("Case C") was too big, I also bought "Case D", the next size down. Case D fits my headphones almost perfectly -- a little on the snug side, but providing for a much more portable way to store my 'phones.

  5. The Koss carrying case is a very handy way to store and protect your Koss earphones...

  1. I've never been able to keep ear plug headphones in my ears, and I've been very pleased with these ear clip headphones. Plus the sound is better than the others I have tried. And the price can't be beat. Getting them on is a little more involved, but worth it. They are good in an exercise or yard work environment where sweat is involved.

  2. Maybe I have unusually small ears or something because these aren't adjustable and they are too big for my ears. When working out, I find that I can't relax my neck because I'm afraid these may fall out. While they do stay on with moderate exercise (treadmill) they don't stay on with strenuous or high impact exercise. I will say that the sound quality if good. Not too much of one thing and not enough of the other.
I ended up buying some ipod ear buds. I only use these when cleaning now. These would probably be excellent for a man but I don't think their suitable for a womans earlobe.

  1. I bought these about 3 months ago to work out with...I can't exactly run with my SkullCandy Cans (which I love...hence why I tried these buds). I hate the apple buds (not the sound...but they kill my ears). These buds are very comfortable...they sound very good (good bass and treble)...cancel most ambient noise...good length on the cords...and they look great with the different color options. I have used more expensive buds (Sony and Shure)...I can honestly say for most people...these will do just as well. I highly recommend.

  2. Sound isolation is very important as a commuter and a student. This is the first thing I noticed about these when I put them in my ear: immediate isolation. Its good enough to drown out bus sounds, conversations, and general noise with a little bit of music. It really saves your ears, because you can keep the volume low-medium and still hear it clearly.

Sound quality is great, it does not breakup in lower or higher frequencies and has excellent bass response.

Only problem is, if you're eating something while wearing this, the crunching noise reverbrates through your entire head and can be heard audibly with the earphones in.

  3. These work great! They are the perfect size for my ears and extremely comfortable. I can usually hear people running on the treadmill next to me, however not with these headphones. They block out any unwanted noise and have a great sound quality to them.

  1. ***
This earbuds are as cute as could be, sound great, and are durable, but are very, very uncomfortable. I can only wear mine for about a half hour before they begin to hurt and after an hour I have to take them out---then that's it for the whole day. They are a somewhat soft rubber on the outside but the inside is hard plastic; they are comparable in quality to the earbuds that come with iPod nanos. For the price they are adequate, but you can spend about the same or a bit more and get earbuds that are all this and that you can wear for longer as well.

I ended up buying some "Koss "The Plug" Portable Headphones" for under $20 and can wear them all day; I would recommend something like this instead.

I do like the colors that these earbuds come in, but they are more than an accessory for me and have to be usable as well. The sound quality is just fine for a cheaper ear bud---no complaints here.

Mine often fall out because they do not change their shape to accommodate your ear; your ear must change shape to fit this earbud, hence the discomfort.

  2. I really love these earbuds! I had tried Sony earbuds a long time ago, and hated them because they were almost too big, and pretty painful to put in. These Gummy earbuds are wonderful! I think they must be smaller than the other ones, because I can wear these for hours on end and they don't hurt at all. I have no problem with these staying in my ears, and the sound quality is even better than the headphones I had used previously. They are very inexpensive!

  3. I purchased them to match my creative labs mp3 player. They worked wonderfully. My cousin purchased a pair.

  4. I tried these earbuds because they were so cute and pink but they are very uncomfortable and would not stay in my ear. I ended up just throwing them away. What a wast of money.

  5. they have a great sound and are very small which for us means portability and lots of use.

5 comments about Sony MDR-V500DJ Monitor Series Headphones with Swivel Earcups.
  1. Like the swivel technigue, fits pretty well, use it more for gaming than for playing music, which means that after some hours your ears start to hurt a little bit, but I guess that's with pretty much every headphone the case. It has a good full body volume sound and the price is very resaonable.

  2. Nice product, confortable, excelent for personal use, at home or at studio fits quite well, people complains about not sounding hard enough at while playing at open and noisy spaces, but if you're using it for your self its very enjoyable.

  3. My pair broke just after one year... I will never buy sony products again... they are just not good quality.

  4. Before I bought the Sony MDR-V500DJ I had heard that they hurt your ears a lot, that usually made me not want to buy them. It is true that at first the headphones hurt my ears, but it's only in the beginning. Afterwards, your ears get used to the headphones and my ears didn't hurt.
So I would greatly recommend the headphones because they have some good quality sound, specially if your into loud techno like myself. The bass and the rotating earcups are great, they are nice to wear around your neck.

    Overall the earphones are great.

  5. I received these headphones about a year and a half ago. I thought they were great until they broke today. I was simply putting them on when the cheap plastic just below the headband snapped in half. They were very well cared for and other than this problem they are still in perfect condition. $80 headphones should not break this easily!

The 90-day limited warranty obviously will not do me any good. Sony wants to charge me $42.00 (not including taxes or the cost to ship them there) just to repair them or replace them with refurbished ones. I'm very, very disappointed and I would not recommend any Sony headphones to anyone.

Stick with Koss headphones. They're in the same price range (many comparable models are actually less expensive) and Koss actually upholds the LIFETIME "no questions asked" warranty on their products. I'll never buy any Sony headphones again, and I will examine all other Sony products for cheap, easily breakable parts and short, limited warranties before I purchase them.

  1. I figured a 3 foot cord was acceptable, as I'm not that tall and I bought this based on the reviews I read here. However, the cord is NOT 3 feet long. It is actually 2'8" inches long when fully extended. That's pretty short for most people. Another 4" or 6" would have been better.

  2. the sound was better than i expected, although i thought that the cord should be longer. also, the part that you're supposed to be able to pull apart doesn't seperate far enough which is kind of annoying. other than that, they are a solid pair of headphones.

  3. Great product! Easy to work with on the commuter train! I have a 2G ipod and I can wear this around with no wires getting in the way.

  4. I bought these for my husband who loves them. They are small and easy to throw in your pocket while traveling.

  5. Product was not as advertised; instead was a cheap imitation of what it stated it was. When I emailed the company for an 'instant' reply, as noted on their website (I was supposed to get a response within 3 hours), I didn't get a response after 24 hours. When I tried calling the same day, I only got an answering machine. Very frustrating experience ONLY remedied by the professional, supportive "A to Z" policy of Amazon. I would warn all who consider buying from this company NOT to do so.

  1. The headphones have excellent quality and short of having a 5.1 sound system in the room they are really great. I have a hearing challenge in both ears, one worse than the other, and this headset is designed for people like me. I use them routinely for movies and other TV broadcasting that I want to hear better with the distractions in the room or just reflected sound causing a problem. I would recommend them to anyone needing hearing assistance or to have a better hearing experience.
