  1. This is the BEST ear CLips I've ever had! LIghtweight as it advertised, it's really really soft that makes me feel so great even with my glasses on. I've been suffeing because I love clips type, but most of them can't stay along with my glasses. But this iLuv one works perfectly. It's also great for bed use. I can simply feel nothing but music around! I'd like to get another pair in another color! (it'd be awsome if it's available to change covers :P)

  1. These headphones are comfortable even for long periods of wear, and they deliver fine sound for audiobook listening, which was my major purpose. My kids use they with their various music devices and are satisfied -- and they are inexpensive enough that when the kids lose the earbuds, my blood pressure does not rise.

  2. I ordered these earbuds to listen to music and sounds on my computer at work. They came very quickly and they have more than met my expectations. The sound is absolutely fabulous.. I didn't know earbuds could sound that good.. plus they are really pretty.. fit very well into your ears with out any discomfort. Plus you can't beat the great price.

I would highly suggest these earbuds whether it is for an ipod, laptop or computer.. you will very much enjoy these. They get an A+ with me.

  3. I do not have this product are lost my package, I fail asu destination, buy another equally lost my money

  4. I bought two of these earbuds since they match my white PSP, but I've been disappointed with the sound quality. It lacks bass and has a tinny, slightly harsh quality to them. Overall, it sounds decent though, and after getting used to these it no longer bothered me much. Also note that the white plastic is soft and tends to get discolored rather easily, which is disappointing also since the main reason I bought these is for the color. Anyway, for better sound quality and a lower price, I would recommend the Sony MDR-E828LP earbuds, they really sound significantly better than the E10LPs. Sony MDR-E828LP Fontopia Earbuds with Winding Case

  5. I got these earphones to replace the ones that came with my iPod...I love the extra long cord and the stylish color. The sound cuality is average, but I got these mostly because they seemed like the only ones that wouldn't fall out of my ears. Some pricier headphones that I have purchased were too big for me, but these fit perfectly.

  1. I just used these for the first time tonight at the gym. Where do I start...the ear buds fell out of my ears about every 2 minutes. It also hurt everytime I stuck them back in. The sound is extremely cloudy. I figured maybe the EQ was off on my iPod, but nope, that was not the case. I tested all different settings on the EQ for 6 songs and they all sounded cloudy. There needs to be more treble in these things. The bass was peaking on a few songs when the volume wasn't that high. The sound quality overall sounds like you're listening to music through a pillow. I am so pissed that I spent $20 bucks on these dinky things. Don't bother wasting your money on these, especially if you plan to use them while being active.

  2. I think these sound great. But my ears really hurt after about 10 minutes of wearing them. The earpieces are pretty hard. I tried both sets of earpieces and neither work for me. I don't see how folks can wear these for an extended period of time. I've been looking for some softer covers, but haven't had any luck. I even tried making some out of a pair of earplugs - but that didn't work well at all. I've tried positioning them all different kinds of ways, and they either fall out or are just too painful. If I'm missing something, then please tell me, because I do like the sound.

  3. These buds produce great sound and I like the way they stick right in your ear canal because I can never get the other type of ear buds to stay in place. They're also quite durable. I've always had a tendency to go through any kind of headphones or ear buds like dental floss, but these last quite a long time.

  4. These headphones provide a terrible sound. I definitely would not recommend them.
The Philips SHE5910 model is much better, at the same, or lower, price.

  5. I thought i was getting an awesome deal on these when I got them for $4.50. i wasnt expecting much; just something light, comfortable, and compact for running, biking, etc. well these are indeed light and fairly compact, but what let me down was the comfort (there is none!) and quality (poor).

These earbuds are just an itch above those crappy buds you get with an ipod. they are more comfortable than ipod buds, but just bairly. they dont feel like they fit my ears very well, though the do feel snug enough for active use.
As for sound quality, this are not great. Again they are just a smidge better than the generic ipod buds. they don't come close to my Sony noise canceling buds or Audio-Technica over-ear headphones, but then again, I didnt expect them to.

Over all, I would say they aren't worth more than $10. Other people may have better opinions of these earbuds, but after using head/earphones that cost 20x more than these, i expect better performance.

  1. I bought these primarily to listen to music off my computer and for running while listening to music off my A2DP/AVCRP compatible phone. In both cases they worked so well, I went ahead and sprung for the sony bluetooth iPod adapter.

Pairing was as simple as it gets with bluetooth; hopefully near field communications will make this flashing LED system obsolete in the future. Regardless, the headphones paired with my mac, cellphone, and the sony bluetooth adapter without issue, and seems to remember each of those whenever I turn them back on together; that is to say, you don't have to keep re-pairing. Especially neat is that I can sit at my desk listening to music on my computer (in full stereo A2DP w/AVCRP controls for the music) while at the same time being connected to my phone; if someone calls, the music pauses and I can answer the phone and talk, then return to listening to music seamlessly!! Pretty neat to be able to stay connected to multiple sources that way. And it is super convenient to have the controls on the headset itself; I worked out the other day with my iPod on the floor and could skip tracks and adjust volume without getting it out of the bag.

The sound is nice with good bass and fair clarity, about the same as the wired street style headphones; that being said, you'll still get better sound from high quality wired headphones (at a similar price point, I recommend a nice pair of Sennheisers, the Bose triport, or for in ear, the ultimate ears 5 if you can get away with noise isolation). I have not noticed much in the way of background hiss unless I am listening at barely audible volume levels or to a 'noisy' .mp3. I can't speak to the microphone quality, I've used it a few times with no complaints but primarily I'm a music man.

The fit has its pros and cons. On the one hand, it stays put fairly well and is comfortable enough if you take the time to position the headphones properly. However, I don't see why adding a little bit of silicone loop (like the wired street style) would have been such a tough thing to do. If they had done so, these would have received a full five stars from me.

Overall, I would recommend these headphones as they outperform every competing set I've come across; there are more expensive, better sounding bluetooth headsets (notably the big ones from Sony) but they compromise the portability, light weight and exercise friendly design of these. I haven't had any problems with audio dropout or durability, they work for exercise and stationary listening, they have good sound with plenty of bass and definition, and they easily last for ten hours of stereo music listening. If they had only slapped some silicon on there, these would be perfect!!

  2. Just got these to pair with an LG enV and my laptop using a bluetooth USB dongle, and I'm more than happy with the results.

Audio is very clear, good bass response, good dynamic range, I'd have to say they're even better than similar over-the-ear wired headphones by Sony I've used in the past.

My only complaint is the 'folding' mechanism - they don't fold flat, so they might be likely to break if you stuff them in a full bag. It would've been a better idea to make them adustable instead of folding - they're far too large for my girlfriend's head, though they fit my (rather large) head very well. Been wearing them for about 6 hours straight with little discomfort.

  3. Pros:
Fairly easy to set up; pairing is pretty easy. Audio quality mostly good.

    Cons:
occasional bluetooth artifacts -- popping sounds when there is interference, dropouts. Pitch and speed temporarily increase when unit tries to catch up to realtime -- disorienting. Dropouts seem to increase when battery is low.
Incoming ringtone is a loud high-pitched warble -- painful and mind jarring.
Microphone in unit is sensitive to noise -- I have to cup my hand to overcome traffic noise.

  4. These headphones do everything I want, but just barely. The sound is just barely good enough, as is the reception.
What I like: the controls work well, pairing is easy, and they are fairly comfortable.
What I don't like: Reception could be better. They barely work when my phone is in my pocket, and the reception on my computer works for most, but not all of my small place. Sound is not as good as Sony wired headphones costing half the price.

  5. Despite some reviews that I'd read I decided to give these a try. The sound is great, only noticed a little less clarity then compared to standard headphones.

  1. Comfortable and work well. Good sound quality. Much superior to the original iPod ear buds.

  2. These earbuds like most other sound isolating earbuds I have tried can be annoying to wear if you are moving around a lot. Since the earbuds make a tight seal inside your ear, any movement in the cable will be conducted through to your ears. Therefore, I would not recommend these for wearing during a workout. This is not a fault of these earbuds alone but every pair that I have ever tried, so I will not knock these earbuds on that basis. That being said these are great earbuds, just don't buy them for jogging.

The sensitivity of these buds is much better than my standard iPod earbuds and several other aftermarket earbuds that I have tried (Panasonic, Altec Lansing, Phillips). I have probably tried 5 or so different sets of earbuds in the $20-$40 range over the last few years and after a little break-in time and finding the right size gel pad (3 sizes are included) to fit your ears these easily blow them all away. The bass, midrange and high end are all good. These really shine in the bass and low mids compared to most other earbuds and since they are so sensitive you can keep the volume lower and save battery life on your player. You will hear things that you have never heard before in your music, especially if you are using the standard issue buds.

Since there are 3 different gels to choose from as far as fit, these are also more comfortable for long listening sessions then other earbuds I have tried. They also offer good sound isolation, so these are great for work or in a moving vehicle.

They are light in your ears, light on your battery and light on your wallet while providing excellent sound. Give them a little break-in time and you will love them... I did.

  3. OK guys, heres a review from nobody... these things are proply beltaz!!! the sound quality is unparalelled by any other in ear headphones, i owned a pair of sony's way back when, they were 90 british pounds, uncomfortable and the bass was overwhelming. i have owned various pairs of cheaper in-ears and most of the time they were tinny and near unbearable to listen to on high volume. i have owned a few pairs of neckbands. . . sony and phillips, the phillips being the better of the two in the same price range, but both allowing far too much outside noise in, absolutely no good for public transport.
Alright, on to the SC's they get four stars because 4 and 3/4 isnt an option. the only beef i have is that i keep losing the smallest size earpiece(my fault but you cant just buy replacements, therefore i am on my third set [gona glue it this time.])
with these things in, you can listen to your music at half the volume of any neckband headphones and not hear a damn thing anyone is saying to you and they wont hear an annoying mosquito-ish noise.
the sound quality is something you would expect from a high dollar pair and although sound can travel through the cable during heavy movement, i barely notice it.
i would advise not to pay more than 12 dollars for them cos they are probably on sale at your nearest electronics store for the same, if not less. (last pair, sam goody $8)
Honestly... someone you know will probably have a pair, give em a try and you will be impressed.
hope this helps, i really cant sy enough good things about em.
    peace.

  1. These headphones sound great and work well. The only problem is that your neck starts to hurt after wearing them for a while because they are heavy. This will pass though! After wearing them for a while your neck gets use to the extra weight and you will fill fine again. Same with the ear's, they are tight against your ears. While it blocks outside sound great they hug up on your ears pretty hard and start to hurt after a while. My head and ears are of average size and I thought after reading some of these reviews, only people with big heads had this problem. I think if you have really small ears then you wont have this problem. But they are great headphones. I bought them mainly for gaming to block outside noise so I could hear footsteps.

  2. I had a friend who owned some Koss UR20s, and they were awesome headphones. The bass response was good, they were THE most comfortable headphones I've ever worn, and they've lasted a good many years.

Contrasting this, I decided to "go all out" and buy some Pro4AATs. The statistics on the Pro4AAs were blowing the UR20s out, so I bought it.

I've been dissatisfied with my purchase ever since.

The Pro4AATs have mediocre bass response at best. The sound quality is thin. They weigh too much! I can't wear them for longer than an hour, because it presses down too hard on the top of my head.

3 years later, I'm still using these Pro4AAs, and my friend is still using his UR20s. I did a sound test, and the UR20s still wup up on the Pro4AAs.

  3. These lasted me about 6 months before the plastic piece that holds the left earpiece on snapped into two pieces. They did get dropped quite regularly, but they broke one day when I took them off, I heard the sound of plastic snapping and the left earpiece was hanging by a wire not much thicker than a thread. I partially blame the fact that I dropped them so much as I do the fact that I have a large head.

Regardless considering how often these got dropped, they held up quite well for headphones these days. I have had plenty of headphones that did not hold up as long that I never got the chance dropped (mainly Sennheisers, they don't hold up at all) or broke the first time they were dropped from half the height.

The best part, is if you ask anyone who ever dealt with Koss before, they will tell you to ship them to Koss and Koss will replace them no questions asked for the price of shipping.

These headphones do sound quite good for the money. I'm very picky when it comes to sound, and these don't give me much to complain about. There is a slight drop offs in certain midrange frequencies, but other than that the sound is very balanced with clear highs, good bass and good low mids.

I would recommend the big brother of these headphones, the Koss Pro 4AAs to anyone considering these headphones or headphones in the $60-$150 price range. The sound quality is top notch and they are built like a tank and will withstand all the abuse you can throw at them. I currently own a new pair, and have used and abused an old pair for many years as kid (they still work but the foam on the headpiece has fallen off and pulls my hair out). Only downside is they are even heavier than the Pro 4AATs, but it has not been a problem for me.

  4. after trying a few different open backed headphones i knew i had to have closed back phones. these koss pro4aat's are right for me. block out almost all ambient sound while delivering the music as you want it to sound.initially i found the sound muddy and booming-easily cured by turning bass levels down (not something i normally do!!) some reviewers find them heavy or hot on the ears-but not me. they also look good and are well made. you would have to spend a lot more money to get a better headphone.

  5. Excellent audio quality for a good price! Very balanced in the whole frequency range. High tones are clearly reproduced, whereas the bass does not dominate. Can be recommended for all music lovers! It is worth its price.

5 comments about Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Earbuds, 11mm - Metallic Green.
  1. What is in the box:
1 pair of 11mm Skullcandy Full Metal Jacket Earbuds
    1 extension cord - about 3ft long
3 sets of rubber ear pieces - 1 small, 1 medium, 1 large
2 sets of foam ear pieces - all same size
    1 drawstring carrying bag

I own both the 9mm and the 11mm FMJ earbuds and the 11mm is quite an improvement. These are louder and the bass has more boom to them. You will not be disappointed with the bass on these things. The quality of material also seems to be better when compared to the 9mm. The cord is sturdier and chrome plated rather than just a rubber cord. The cord is about 3 feet long which should be long enough for most people. The extension cord adds about another 3 feet which extends long than my entire body.

I have never used foam ear pieces before, so it took me some time to figure out a way to fit them in my ear properly. Before I was just shoving them into my ear like normal earbuds and it felt a bit uncomfortable. The real key is to squish the ear pieces to make them thinner, then put them into your ear and let them expand back after a few seconds. This allows a much better fit and an easier time inserting them into your ears.

I have only one minor con. The 9mm featured a in-line volume control slider that is missing in the 11mm version. This is only a minor gripe as I don't consider volume control to be a major feature.

You'll never have to worry if they break, because all Skullcandy products comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Overall, the 11mm FMJs exceeds the 9mm in almost every possible way. From sound quality, to accessories, to craftsmanship quality, it is all an improvement. Unless you find the 9mm for cheap, I highly recommend to go straight for the 11mm Full Metal Jackets.

  2. I bought the Skullcandy earbuds (in gray) for my iPhone, to replace the awful ones included with the phone, and am thrilled with the sound, quality and really everything about them. Highly recommend!

  3. I bought these headphones for my girlfriend. She likes to run on her treadmill and also outside around the neighborhood. The headphones she was using before were her junk ipod ones. The problems she had with the ipod ones were: they couldn't stay in her ear whilst running, they had poor sound quality which in my opinion makes running with music stink, and the cord seemed to get tangled up all the time.

This product solved all of those problems and also surpassed out expectations on sound quality. I put them in and was amazed. I'm very happy with my purchase. Yeah, they were pretty expensive, but I figure buy it once keep it for life. These things definitely seem like they are going to hold up for a long, long time too.

p.s. it comes with a cool carrying case and neat stickers! haha.

  4. First thing, let me just say that people who complain about there being too much bass have forgotten what music is SUPPOSED to sound like. These headphones are absolutely incredible. I have been listening to my ipod more than when I first bought it three years ago! I will never go to another brand. I'm sold, completely.

  5. I ordered a pair of these to use at the gym with my iPod and also with a music system we jack into while spinning. They sound great. I treat them very well but I can't believe that people use these while doing extreme sports.

I have gone through two pair in 4 months. The volume control failed in the first pair. Skullcandy replaced them but it took forever. They never reply to your e-mails or website comments which is why I gave them 1 star.

The second pair also started to fail at the volume control. So I used DeoxIt on them and that cleared it up. Don't sweat on the volume control or you will have to clean it with something because it will start to have spots that don't work and sound will drop out. After about 1 month of use the jack failed. I would have to twist the cord to get them to work.

Now this is just from using them at the gym. Not skateboarding or snowboarding or any of the stuff they show the guys on their website doing.

When you do the second RMA, they hassle you with they don't cover accidental damage. They make you send the entire pair in this time. Then you wait 4 weeks and hassle them with e-mails and on their website and they never respond but they finally ship you a new pair. So 6 weeks after I sent them in I get a new pair.

I'm sure these will break just as soon as the last pair. But for what they cost I will keep sending them and hassling them. These don't even last as long as a cheap $10 pair. I could buy 6 pairs of those for what these cost.

  1. I saw these earplugs at a convention before a marathon. The owner of the company said they were the best for runners because out in the street you could hear all things around you as well as have this super high definition sound from your audio. Not true. Outside AND in the gym, all the other noises around stiffled the sound of my audio. And I was listening to Def Leppard! Returned the plugs immediately, sorry!

  2. These earphones are well made, attractive, and comfortable to wear. However, they don't meet with expectations. There are many products for the same price or less that produce a much fuller sound. Basically, there is no bass; they sound something like an early transistor radio earphone. I'm 64 so maybe my cartilage doesn't transmit sound so well, but I'd suggest anyone wanting these should try them before buying. Also, on my IPod and my Slacker Portable, the volume has to be cranked to the max, at which the sound is at least acceptable. This is not necessary for any of my other earphones.

For joggers, bikers, etc. they may be the ticket since they don't drown out ambient sounds. Interestingly, if I push them to my ears with my hands, the sound is better than average. Maybe they will work better under my motorcycle helmet. If so, I'll add a review.

  3. I have this for over 3 months and the best thing about it is the peace of mind that my hearing won't be damage. The sound might not be the best but I only uses it at home when I'm studying.

  4. I love these headphones. They are comfortable, they sound great (a little bit light on the bass but fantastic mids and treble), they stay on my ears through all kinds of activities (from running to the treadmill and weightlifting to biking), they are a great solution to the new hands free law in California when driving on the cell phone, and the best part, they allow you to stay in tune with your outside environment, whether you are talking on the cell in the car, jogging on the sidewalk or riding your bike on the street, or walking around the grocery store. You don't have to shut yourself out anymore. If you want to talk to someone, just turn the volume down while leaving the headphones on. Great stuff!

  5. I use these headphones for both my tai chi outdoors and my workouts at the gym with a personal training group/ For Tai Chi - it is great to hear both my music and nature around. At the club - it is great to both hear my music and the direction of the trainer.

I love the ability to increase or decrease the volume from the mini lever which hangs around my chest - and I have never had the earphones get loose during any workouts.

    Highly recommended

  1. I just hope somebody who is thinking of buying these on eBay reads this and realize how many fakes are on eBay EVEN when the seller claims they are genuine.
Anyway, these headphones sound beautiful, loud, and are TOUGH. They have been pulled loose from my ears more times than I can remember, usually when I'm in a crowded train and the cord gets caught in somebody's backpack or such. After all that they still work and sound good. When you actually handle the headphones and realize the material and workmanship that went into it you would know why it costs what it costs.

  2. These B&O headphones work really well without acting like earmuffs. The surprisingly simple--yet elegant--design keeps one cool, stays in place, and provides excellent sound quality. This is a clever, well-made set of headphones.

  3. I tried several pairs of earphones and earbuds before deciding to spend the extra money on this pair. I wish I had just bought these first instead of trying to find a less expensive pair. You get what you pay for.
Although not an audiophile, and comfort being my first priority, the sound is exceptional. Clear, crisp, full range.
The design of the headphone allows them to be easily adjusted. Previous reviews had evidenced this as a problem, but to me it was a very simple adjustment. The headphone joints 2 ways, over the ear adjustment and then the sound bud joints into the ear canal. It is very comfortable and stays in place perfectly while working out. Those of you looking for a good set for workouts, this is it. They also have some real substance to them, not heavy, just sturdy and well built. I expect they will last a long time. I use them 4 days a week to run and have had no problems. Hope this helps.

  4. Just a note to anyone buying a pair of A8's, there are many fake pairs of these headphones on Amazon being sold as geuines. Any pairs for under $100 should be avoided!!! Research your seller!

  5. I bought Bose...hated those. SHure....could not keep them in my ears and I FINALLY found my way home when I bought these. These are the "Rolls Royce" of headphones. I can run for miles with incredible sound and pure comfort. These are the BEST! I cannot say enough. The only downside...the price, BUT worth every penny.

  1. I'm not an audio expert, so I've been adequately satisfied with the sound these MDR-V300 phones produce. But maybe I shouldn't be.

I'm giving up on them after they broke today for the second time (first the plug, then the plastic headband), To my surprise, the cheap Yamaha RH-2Cs I'm using now are more comfortable and give me previously unnoticed sound details.

The V300s have always seemed too small for my head, even with the phones fully extended.

  2. I'm a musician, and sound is important, especially working electronically. I have bought these particular headphones twice. They are of excellent sound quality for an excellent price. Warning-DO NOT DROP THEM -As they structurally aren't as good as they could be, and I've had to super-glue the plastic pieces in several different spots - but the sound more than compensates. These are the best in their price range. I've had my first pair for almost 3 years now.
Also they are light and, not too snug, and are comfortable in winter and summer weather. The 10' foot cord allows for great home uses too!!

  3. so basically i bought a pair of these sorry excuses for headphones about 5 months ago. not only did the lower part of the headphone jack break off, it broke off IN MY IPOD, essentially ruining it, unless i want to pay some insane fee to send it off and be fixed (which i dont). when i tried to contact sony, as soon as they realized i was inquiring about some cheap pair of headphones instead of a ps3 or one of their hdtvs, they basically disregarded my complaint, told me there was nothing they could do for me and pretty much implied that it was my own fault for not being more careful with them. while the headphones were operational, the sound quality was decent (certainly respectable for lower end headphones) but the entire unit was EXTREMELY uncomfortable not just on top of my head but over my ears as well (some of these reviewers calling the headphones' design ideal must never have tried any other pairs). the cord is also inexplicably long, which sounds like nitpicking, but it really got on my nerves having to constantly untangle and untie all these knots, or having to shove 5 feet of wire in my pocket so it didnt drag on the ground. although i personally never had any problems with the actual headset breaking, its painfully evident that the swivels are very cheaply made, and i certainly wouldnt reccomend shoving these in a backpack or messenger bag, as i could easily see one of these cheap plastic beams breaking after a day in a confined space with other insecure hard objects (although at least then only the headphones would be broken and not your ipod as well). AVOID THESE PIECES OF GARBAGE LIKE A PLAGUE!

  4. I purchased these specifically for the 10' cord so I could watch tv in bed (Sennheiser wireless headphones did not work). I was surprised by the comfort and quality of these headphones. One of the better sets I've ever owned.

  5. The Sony MDR-V300 headphones are my almost perfect pair of headphones. They are very comfortable, and the sound that comes out of them is phenomenal. I listen to metal and dance music, and I could not have asked for better sound.I just wish that Sony added a volume control switch to the cord for these headphones.
