5 comments about JVC Air Cushion Headphones (Black).
- Truly magnificent sound. Perfect product, but for two small issues:
The "carrying case" is a joke. Either it was designed by a rabid chimpanzee who was shaving itself with a straight razor whilst watching ripoffs of Gilligan's Island, with a Downs Syndrome-encrusted lunatic that kinda looks like a cross between Bob Dole and a giraffe (Paris Hilton) playing the lead, or I must be the least dexterous human being on the planet. And I know for a fact I'm more dexterous than at least a few people, Andy Richter and Karl Rove for instance. In the future, my advice to JVC would be to avoid using chimpanzees to design product accessories.
The cord is just a bit too short.
These are minor issues, as the purpose of earphones is to hear stuff through 'em and these are great at that. Five stars.
- First off, these headphones are way above the competition in price and comfort. There biggest plus is how amazingly well they fit into me ear. Yours' may be different, but the design of the headphones suggests that they would fit snugly in most people's ears.
Their sound is clear, precise, and bright. Like most earbuds, even those in the $100.00 plus range they fail to reproduce the the power of the lower end of the frequency spectrum....bass. But the sound is very pleasing and well rounded.
If you're looking for comfortable, good sounding headphones and don't want to spend $200.00 or more, these are the one's I would recommend.
- The fit of these JVC earbuds is the best I've tryed so far. The shape keeps them inserted against the ear canal in a fixed position so that the sound is always optimized. This also helps to keep them securely inserted. Other ear buds can turn within the ear and change the sound. Very annoying. Sound quality is great and price is very resonable. The only negative I've found is that the silicone earpieces come off too easily. When moving them, always look to see that they're still attached.
- I must have received the only defective product made. I see awesome reviews for these, but when I received mine the right ear bud rarely works. If they sit still long enough the sound will start coming through. I gave it 2 stars because the one earbud that works sounds awesome.... I just wish they both did... :(
- When I bought these I was a little worried about the comfort. I've had some bad experiences with uncomfortable in-ear headphones. The Amazon user reviews said they were comfortable, so I gave them a shot.
I have to agree. These are extremely comfortable, and they do a great job of blocking outside noise. I use them when I'm mowing the lawn, and it does a good job of blocking some of the mower noise, but not so much as to be dangerous. The sound quality is also excellent. It is very balanced, not too much bass, not too much highs. NOTE: Give the headphones a few weeks to get "broken in" before judging the sound quality. Most headphones need to loosen the speaker drivers before you get the best sound, and this takes a while. If you want to speed this up, plug them into a CD player on repeat and have it play through them at a medium volume overnight for a few nights.
These headphones also feature some nice extras that add a little extra value. They have the little slider that you can slide down the wire to keep the ear pieces together, just like iPod headphones, and they also have a very small plug, which is the same size and shape as the original iPod headphones. It includes 4 sizes of earpieces, so you'll find one that fits just right.
One other note, the picture on Amazon makes the earpieces look a little bulky, but they're not. They will fit even in small ears comfortably. The oval-shaped piece of the earpiece is soft plastic with air inside, so it cushions nicely inside your ear, and keeps them in place, even if they get tugged on a little bit.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality and value of these headphones, and I highly recommend them. You can tell that JVC went back to the drawing board to answer customer's requests for comfort, and borrowed some of the best design elements from other companies. The result is a high-quality, very comfortable set of headphones that are easy to recommend.

5 comments about Skullcandy INK'D Earbuds - Black.
- I love Skullcandy their products are amazing, but I've gone through 2 sets of these headphones in six months! I travel home from work for two and a half hours everyday via train, subway, bus, and boat and these suckers block out even the loudest crazy homeless guy but, they burnout so fast. I've tried everything to keep my second pair from dieing(I don't blast them at full volume, I keep the cord untangled and I don't bend the wire at the jack, plus a few other little things) with little success (they finally cracked today). I've decided to give Skullcandy one more chance with their "hesh" headphones hopefully they'll last me as long as they have for my friends.
- I'm a sucker and thought thought the little skulls on them were really cute. I was also drawn to fact that they had different sizes of the rubber padding.
However, the only way they stay in your ear is if you really plug them into your ear canal (no joke). If you don't, you won't hear any of the bass and it will sound crappy. If you do manage to shove them in your ear (which I found hard to do as it goes against my common sense and instincts) then you must be absolutely still, even yawning will make them pop right out. They also made my ear hurt after awhile. I got frustrated with them after about five minutes and threw on my ol' duct-taped headphones.
These ear buds have a lot more work to be put in them. I took mine right back to the store and swapped them for a different brand. I would recommend Sony's ear buds, as they conform right to the curve on your ear lobe. It's clear to see that this company did not field test or get an unbiased review before manufacturing these buds.
- I bought these for my mp3 since the headphones I have were falling to pieces, stock ones that came with it. I saw these had good reviews and were cheap so I thought I'd give them a try. They're amazing.. I used them to listen to music on my computer and the bass is clear, the highs are clear, the lows are clear. I hate to say this but these sound better then my $70 creative labs speakers. I play Counter Strike Source as well and I can hear a shell drop from a gun from across a map, the smallest footstep and I can hear it. Its quite amazing. They're a little uncomfortable at first, but that's just because my ears weren't used to earbuds going in. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants a good, inexpensive pair of earbuds.
- Skull candy always makes good headphones, and this is a great example. These are very clear, with an amazing bass equalizer on it. It fits fine in your ear don't listen to other reviews, it's perfect. The sound is the best part, it's great. That's what's important after all, right?
- Saw these at my campus bookstore and decided to pick them up. BIG mistake. They hurt my ears whenever I put them in, and no matter which suction thing I put on the earbud, they fail to stay in my ear.
You're better off buying a cheap pair of Philips' or Sony earbuds for less than $10 than buying these things. STAY AWAY.

5 comments about Sony MDRG54LP Street Style Headphone.
- I've had this headphones for about 3-4 years and I love them. Unlike the other behind the neck ones Sony made with circular earpieces, these ones don't hurt my ear no matter how long I have them on and fit comfortably.
I can't say much about the sound quality other than the fact that it sounds good for what you pay for.
- I just received these headphones a couple of days ago, and based on some of the more negative reviews I wanted to see how comfortable they are for a whole day before commenting.
Well, I guess I can say that I can get used to these no problem. There is a slight discomfort after a day (I use them at work at my desk, typical cubicle nation usage), but I had the same with my MDR-Q33's (clip around the ear) for the first couple of days as well. A couple of weeks into using them every day I couldn't even tell anymore that I had them on. I loved my old Q33's and would have bought another pair if I could still find them anywhere. The old Q33's have a metal jacket around the earphone wires, and my right ear is getting shocked every so often now from a short when plugged in. The newer Sony versions of this style have much thinner pieces going behind the ear now, so I decided to give the street style a try.
The sound - I have to say that they sound great for me. I compared them to the old Q33, and these sound defintely more crisp (highs) and defined (base). I can see though that for other folks there might be an issue sound-wise depending on ear size and head size (I have a relatively small head and very small ears) and how close you get the actual speakers to your ears. The bars are resting on top of my ears, with the connecting piece just hanging in mid air behind my head, which seems fine. All in all I am very happy with this purchase and would defintely recommend anybody to try them out.
- Bought this pair of headphones about 6 months back. The headphones are good but not perfect. They look good and the sound quality is good too for such a low price. I use the headphones rough and are normally stored in the front pocket of my backpack. They lasted long (none of my prev. headphones lasted more than 2-3 months) and I'm still using them.
I wear spectacles and at first they were a little uncomfortable around my ears but now I got used to them. One major irritant is the v-shaped frame. It doesn't sit properly at the back of the head and frequently touches the collar of my shirt. I have to readjust them every time the frame falls down between my neck and the shirt collar.
Overall, 4/5 . Good sound, nice looking, durable but with few drawbacks.
- These headphones have good sound quality. They fit comfortably behind the head. They have a lot less pressure than the over the head type headphones. The neckband does not get in the way of eyeglasses, but it does push glasses into your head. After using them for a while, the become very uncomfortable if wearing glasses. Probably best for people who don't use glasses.
- I've gone through so many headphones, particularly ones that I keep in my gym bag, for workouts, dozens and dozens... until I found these. I just, after about three years, destroyed the set I had-- the wire dangled outside my rear car door and got ripped as I drove the car. It took that much abuse to do an iota of damage to them. Even then, only the cord was torn. These are incredibly sturdy and the sound is superb. The cord is pretty special too. It's a different kind of material, so it's less likely to kink or get tangled. I'm writing this review because I'm thrilled to find they're still available. I'm buying three more. An extra backup and one for my better half.

5 comments about Panasonic RP-HT227 Monitor Headphones with XBS® Extra Bass System.
- They are known to short-out over time, well over a long long time; talking at least 6 months to a year. (You can tell if yours is shorting out if you turn the volume control knob up and down.) I think if people hear a lot of noise, they tend to believe it's already a piece of junk. All you have to do is adjust it, so you can hear full sound on both sides. That's why they're only about 10-12 bucks anyway. If you want longer lasting headphones, just try to take good care of them or simply look into another brand.
For the new Panasonic RP-HT227s, the sound these babies put out is astonishing.. that's if you have a good enough MP3 player or CD player. If these headphones sound bad then obviously it may have something to do with your MP3 sound quality or what kind of player you got. The bass is superb for casual listening, great audio clarity and design too!
Update 1: I typed up this review March of 2006, and now it's near the end of July. As of today, they are STILL working great!
Update 2: It is now 12/18/07 (yes, you read that right.. 2007!) and I've been missing these headphones for a long time now (they ended up breaking). I couldn't find the RP-HT227 models ANY WHERE in the stores for some reason, so a few weeks ago, I decided to purchase them again on Amazon. The UPS truck knocked on my door, and to my surprise they arrived in today. I can now *hear* why I missed these headphones so much. :'-)
- I bought these almost two years ago and have just noticed that one ear is starting to short out(Is that the right term to use when you are talking about the volumes on either ear being different?) I mostly use them when I'm trying to fall asleep.
The cord has been stepped on(Sometimes resulting in the headphones being yanked off my head to crash onto the merciless concrete) and headphones have been dropped on countless occasions. So far the only damage it received is the internal wires being pulled causing one of the ears to short out. I'm usually a lot more careful with my belongings, so it probably would have lasted longer.
The cord was the right enough length for me, could be a bit shorter; it would always get caught on my knee which would cause the headphones to be pulled off. The only discomfort I've had with the headphones is after prolonged usage my ears would hurt from the pressure. For those with long hair - if you put it around your neck, be careful when you remove them; I've had strands of hair ripped out.
As far as sound goes(I'm no audiophile), I think they're good; they block out noises decently enough. The inline volume control is a godsend since I don't want to look at the bright screen of my MP3 player at night. The folding design is nice, though the cord won't stay wrapped around it(Still have yet to buy one of those cord wraps).
Aaand that's about all I can think of saying today.
- These headphones have done so well for me that I have ordered several to give as presents. They sound really good, have good bass, and the have a strong volume level. They are also comfortable. The inline volume control really makes them a great value. The one negative is that they will not stand up very well to abuse - I have had an ear piece break off when they fell of the counter and hit the floor, and the chord will not stand up well to significant tugging away from the ear cups.
- Would absoultely reccomend for those that do alot of listening to their small boomoxes, CD players , walkmans, Sirius stillettos or S-50s and any other portable or regular home audio devices.
- I'd say go to Walmart and get a pair of similar headphones made by Sony instead, it's worth the extra $5-10. These look very cheap, the cord is very thin and looks like it could be broken easily.
The in-line volume control is nice, but mostly useless as the cord is only 9 feet long.
They are pretty comfortable and light-weight. The sound is acceptable, it gets decently loud as well. I can tolerate these and will keep them until they break, but next time I will pay a little more for much higher quality. Don't pay more than $15 for these.

5 comments about Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia Headphones (Pearl Pink).
- I bought these after trying a friend's, because the earphones that came with my iPod hurt my ears. These are really comfortable and stay in until I start to sweat. After about 30 min of cardio exercise, (running or elliptical) they begin falling out. I have to keep stopping, wiping my ears, wiping the little rubber thingy, and jamming them back in.
I've tried all 3 different earpieces that it comes with and this didn't alleviate the problem.
Bummer, because they are comfy. Also, sound is not as good as the iPod earphones. Bass is lacking. Ordering a new pair today that clips to the ear. Will see how they are.
- These headphones sound WORSE than the one's that came with my Ipod touch. There is no low frequency response. Turn the volume up and you have piercing high frequency only. I regret purchasing these headphones
- I love the headphones. Better sound quality. Nice look. Most of all, very easy on the ears.
- The sound quality and comfort are fine, but you can hear a loud thumping through the cord as it bounces on your body during a workout! Very odd. I have other headphones and have never had this problem before.
- They look good. they have the "One side is longer than the other" thing going on.

5 comments about Koss SportaPro Stereo Headphones.
- I am pleased! The Koss SportaPro Headphones deliver outstanding sound quality. Not only are they a major improvement in sound, they are also much more comfortable to wear than the ear plugs that came with my MP3 player. I have read, and believe it is good advice to replace the headphones (ear plugs) that come with a new MP3 player. After using the Koss SportaPro Headphones I am convinced. What an incredible difference it makes. I did my research before buying these, and I'm glad I did. They deliver a deep, rich stereo sound for a reasonable price. I think you'll be hard pressed to find this sound quality in another headphone for under a hundred dollars.
- Only on-the-ear headphone I have used. Very comfortable. Highs and midrange are very nice however I expected more bass (may be an ear fit issue). I also expected a more compact fold-up. Otherwise, I am very happy with them.
- I am enthusiastically ambivalent. These headphones sound GREAT. Not just good, but great. Although [...] rated these badboys a notch or a half below Koss's flagship portapros, I'm having a hard time hearing the difference.
As of this moment (hey, I've only had them for a few hours), they actually sound both slightly better and slightly worse.
THE GOOD:
1. Although Koss cans have a rep for being bassy (albeit in a very controlled fashion), I find the sportapros to have a flatter response from low to hi than the portapros, which clearly emphasize the bass.
THE BAD:
1. The portapros have a clear edge in the mids and highs. No contest. The portapros create a larger, more realistic soundstage. They are also undeniably LOUDER than the sportapros. You'll have to crank up the sports a bit to get optimal sound quality and volume.
THE UGLY:
1. These are hands down the UGLIEST, [...] ugly, fugly 'phones you will ever see or wear. I took a look at the phones on my head, in the cooler more hip strap behind the head position, and my heart sank. You WILL look like Lando Calrissian's assistant from The Empire Strikes Back (that's not a good thing, btw), whether you want to or not.
CONCLUSION:
1. outstanding sound for very little money. These are not true audiophile headphones, and neither are the portapros. The ports exaggerate bass albeit in controlled fashion, and the sports while having a flatter bass response, produces mids and highs which are not nearly as impressive.
I'll keep looking for the perfect price/performance/esthetics equation. Grados and Senns are up next...
- I bought these from an affiliate seller as I live close to them here in NYC and I was able to save a few $$. These are great headphones but if you are expecting to block out all other noise, forget it. The way these are designed you are still able to hear what is going on around you which here in NYC is a good thing. You still hear the music which comes through loud and clear. I was hearing subtle notes and tones with these even through the surrounding street noise which I never did with my cheapo Colby headset which did a good job of blocking out noise when playing music.
There is good tension on the metal headband but the way this is designed with foam rests make for a very comfortable fit. I have worn these for a number of hours straight with glasses without any discomfort.
This has a straight plug which I like as it does not interfere with the case for my iphone 3G. When a call comes in I just unplug the headphone and move the speaker off of my ear. I do not have to worry about breaking these as they are of a solid construction. Even if they did break, Koss provides a LIFETIME warranty though the cost of shipping is about 25% of what I paid. If these ever do break I may just buy a different pair but who knows.
To sum up, these are probably the best bang for your buck for over the head phones. They are not pretty though so if you are more concerned with looks than with good sound go buy something else.
- Worked and sounded pretty good for a few months, then the sound became distorted and every bit of bass was missing. I am now shopping for a QUALITY replacement for them.
-Very Disappointed in Koss

5 comments about Technics RP-DH1200 DJ Headphones.
- Like I say, expect the best from Technics and, of course, from this great set of headphones. As a home DJ, musician, and quality sound seeker, I did a vast amount of research before buying an over $100 set of cans. As many mention, the Sennheiser's and Sony's do sound very good. But that is just it...good. If you own a generic set of headphones you will be noticing the difference immediately. However, if you do know something about sound and music, and even if you don't and are just searching for an excellent-sound-providing set of headphones, search no more. The DH1200s are 1) made to last, 2) handcrafted beautifully, and 3) they will blow your mind away with the clear, crisp, precise, enhanced, and over the top, high quality sound.
I specialize myself in trance, house, and electro-house music, and results are simply what you hope to expect from a respectable brand as Technics. Club and Venue DJ's should definately "hook-up" with a pair of these. They're designed like a tank...durable. And even though they may be around one or two ounces heavier than the competition, everything pays off in the sound; nothing really significant. Plus, their comfort is also very decent. I'm sure your ears or head will mind them just a little bit after a long and continuous three to four hour use. But nothing a brief 5 minute break can't handle. This is definately not a con; all headphones, due to their made-to-keep-sound-inside design, will be like this. Also, the sound is kept and locked in amazingly. Once more, for venue and club DJ's this is a definate plus. Be sure to be mixing your beats with no problem at all while your crowd enjoys at the other end.
But if you're just a nice, good-hearted person (which I'm sure everyone here is =D) who's looking for a pair of headphones that can deliver an over the top sound for when listening to your Ipod (or any other MP3 player), watching movies late at night, enjoying your classical music library (Vivaldi, Bach, Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky, they all sound AMAZING!), or just wanting to get on the audiophile groove, these are the headphones for you.
From enhanced, clear, and crisp bass, to high-end treble that, no matter how high you crank up the volume, won't create distortion. Be prepared to listen-in to details and instruments in songs that you never noticed before. An easy rating for this one... 5 out of 5.
The price is more than worth it. I would not actually mind if i had to pay more for these phones.
PD. I don't mind answering any other detailed questions. Be sure to do an extensive research before making such a valuable purchase, which happens when dealing with music equipment.
- I probably just have a misshapen head but wearing these headphones hurts after a short period of time. They weight quite a lot and sound wonderful but the headband isn't padded sufficiently for me and is quite narrow. So they make the stop of my head hurt.
Sound great but might be uncomfortable depending on your head's shape.
- I've owned two pairs of these. I agree with the other reviewer that they sound the best out of any DJ headphone that I've owned, but they are not durable. The headband and joints broke with both pairs within 6-8 months. I thought that I may have been hard on the first pair while using professionally, but the second failed after a few months of deliciate use. Dissapointing, especially at this price point.
- gReAt sound and wont distort. these headphones can get pretty loud
I got these for the mainly for DJ'ing and its perfect but eventually the size adjustments (1 through 10) on the band will get a little loose so if you set it on 5 you may find it ends up on 7. remember i've had this for a year now
perfect for dj'ing but im sure there are lighter headphones for outside use.
oh and its very sturdy and looks awesOme :)
- Every time I break a set of phones, I get a different brand and model to try new things out. That was until I got these. Now these will break, but keep in mind every swivel DJ phones in this range will break just the same in about a year or 2 depenindg how to treat them. You should always have a warrenty for phones anyways so the durability shouldnt even be an issue. THEY ALL BREAK. First off, a huge advantage to these is the comfort. Not only are they the most comfortable dj phones in this range, but unlike some others, they are completely closed ear. The sound quality is fantastic. Better than the denons or the pioneers. Sony 700's have better sound sure, but at the cost of the most uncomfortable DJ phones I ever had. They are a bit heavy, not too big of a deal. They are bulky but the styling is decent too. Did I mention, unlike the pioneers and denons, they also come equipped with a detachable plug and the quarter inch at the end has a 90 degree arm on it so the cord wont get in the way on most mixers. listen, your not going to go wrong on pioneer hdj1000, sony 700 or even the newer denons in this range. But these Technics have a slight edge over the swivel phones at this price range. You want something better than Technic dh1200? be prepared to spend at least 300.

5 comments about Coby CVEM86 Hands-Free Stereo Earphones with Microphone (iPhone Compatible).
- i tried to buy this item and when it got into my cart it was listed as having $302.99 in shipping charges added! NO THANK YOU! What a ripoff. All I wanted to do was buy a few pairs of headphones, but this seller has lost me as a customer forever.
- Was so excited to find a cheap pair of iPhone headphones...
The good:
- Cheap
Considering the price, from someone who is not a headphone connoisseur-->
- Pretty decent noise canceling
- Good sound
- Great microphone/button placement & usability
The bad:
- On the packaging of this product it warns that after touching the wires you should wash your hands because they contain lead. And that lead could cause cancer. Now, how do they propose using headphones without touching the wires? I knew I wouldn't be able to find another pair of iPhone headphones for so cheap, so I took matters into my own hands and covered the wires with electrical tape. Sure, it's not so aesthetically pleasing, but they still work.
- Despite coming with 3 sizes of earbuds, all 3 are too big for my ears, maybe I just have abnormally small ears, but it get slightly uncomfortable after a while of listening.
- I have gotten two of these from one of the sellers and both of them had one earpiece die on me within two weeks.
- JUNK! I purchased 2 sets of these headphones from Amazon, and the ear bud on one set fell apart after only 10 days of use. I called Coby for warranty replacement, and they want me to pay a $6 warranty fee to replace their piece of junk headphones. Poor quality product and weak warranty policy.
- I never liked the sound quality of the iPhone 3g supplied earbuds. Plus I too had issues with earbuds falling out when doing any sort of activity. But I didn't want to give up the microphone and music control feature. So I started shopping around. Other options like the Optimo were at least $50 and had some issues. I don't really want to pay $100 on a set of V-Modas either. So I took a chance on these Coby earbuds despite some negative reviews figuring that $20 is not alot to pay for earbuds.
Am I glad I did. These Coby sound way better than the Apple earbuds. Bass response is very good without overpowering. Hip Hop sounds great. The drums on many of the Alternative rock I listen to have good punch. Highs are a little sharp for my taste, but not overly so. Overall I enjoy using these much more than the Apple buds.
The music controls work great with my iPhone 3g and the size of the mic/control piece is almost the same size as the Apple earbuds. Only thing is the button is only on one side as opposed to basically two sided on the Apple buds. Also the mic is on the left earbud as opposed to the right on the Apple buds, but that is neither a pro nor a con. Plus the white with silver trim matches my white iPhone 3g perfectly as if it was made together.
Only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes when I am on the phone I have to repeat what I say to have the person understand me (but that happened sometimes with my Apple buds too). Also the fish idea is kinda dumb. Who wants that big thing dangling from your phone? Otherwise I disagree about the length of the cord as one person stated. I think the length is just right.
Now the only question is how long they will last. I have had them for about 2 weeks now and so far so good. I will update if that changes.

5 comments about Radius Atomic Bass - Headphones ( ear-bud ) - black.
- I know that many people will consider a $40 pair of in-ear phones to be on the high-priced side, but these are actually some of the cheaper earphones available. They do exactly what you would expect: provide a bass-heavy, rather unnatural, sound from portable media players. As someone who normally uses a separate headphone amplifier (most often a C&C XO) even with high-efficiency headphones, I really don't need the efficiency of these units. The quality and clarity of the sound doesn't begin to compare with many of the units that are only a few dollars more. Also, these seem to be made rather cheaply, with flimsy cables and tips that don't stay in place very securely. (Not to mention the extremely frustrating difference in cable length between the earpieces. This is a feature that I simply can't stand, even though I have several units from other manufacturers with the same silly design.) Overall, I would suggest that these are suitable mainly for people who (1) don't really care too much about clarity, sound balance, and quality; (2) like a lot of bass, even if it's not in the original recording; and (3) don't have much money to spend on such things.
One last, off-topic comment: I really wouldn't put much stock in reviewers who spell "bass" as "base"...it suggests that the reviewer would be a person who, never having owned or driven anything other than a Yugo, would claim that the Yugo is the best car in the world. If you don't know how to spell "bass", I doubt that you have much experience with audio equipment in general.
- I just bought these earbuds, and my early review of them is that they are excellent. I've probably bought half a dozen sets of earbuds in addition to the ones that have come with the mp3 players I've bought, and these are by far the best. They aren't the cheapest, but at a little less than $40, I still think they are a good value. If you're looking for in-ear noise reducing earbuds, these are great IF you select the right pair of bud covers for them. They ship with the "small" covers attached, and when I listened to my iPod with those, I was really disappointed in the sound. I took those off and put on the "large" set, and the sound was improved 100%. My earbuds never last more than about six months since I use them for running and causual listening. I am saving all of the literature that came with them so I can take Radius up on the lifetime guarantee if these should fail. All in all, I think these are a solid product.
- I have small ear canals so ear buds are a real problem for me. I did a lot of research and thought I'd give these a try. All in all, I like these ear buds much better than the ones that came with my ipod. They work fine, deliver good sound and I like the multiple ear bud sizes. I use them at work and mostly listen to "coffeehouse" type music so I don't notice them being heavy on the bass. There are a few issues worth noting, however. I find that I need to insert the buds far into my ear canals to get a full stereo sound. I'm also not a big fan of the shorter left ear bud wire. I've yet to find the perfect ear bud. Until then, these are fine.
- If you have small ear canals and are tired of fighting with other earbud style headphones then these are the answer to your frustrations. For this fact alone I would recommend this product but they also sound very good. Bass response is,as the name implies, very good as are all other freq. No they're not a $100 pair of Bose or Sennheisers but for the price they perform well and "they fit".
- I bought these with the help of a couple ten dollar gift cards from IWON.com and for in the ear headphones they are awesome. I never thought I could like in the ear especially after using Sony's hard plastic ones from back in the day. I have always used on the ear or over the ear headphones for listening to music and radio. These are it albeit the silcone ear buds come off easily and sometimes in your ear. I lost one of the ear buds already and contacted the manufacturer and they said they sent me replacements but I haven't received them yet.
