1. The HD201 is the entry level headphones from Sennheiser. Considering the price you pay, it is value for money. However, if you are able to pay more, get a higher end Sennheiser headphones. I have a HD205 and it goes without saying that the HD205 is better than the HD201.
   
   What I do like about the HD201 is that it is lightweight and it is comfortable and fits round the ears very well. The closed ear headphones also reduces some ambient noise. However, it is not a very "loud" headphone and when I turned to maximum volume on my player, I could hear a slight distortion.

1. This will be short and sweet. These headphones are very well made and have some weight to them as they are aluminum. The logo is etched into the metal so no fading or flaking off. It comes with several selections of sizes of the pieces that fit in your ear so no problem with fit.
   
   They do have an in-line volume control that is very sensitive. Just barely moving it adjusts the volume quite a bit. Not really an issue just thought I would mention it. Also, the volume is plenty loud. I have tried several new headphone models where the max volume just isn't high enough.
   
   For me the sound these produce is the problem I have. They are very bass heavy and almost sound muted. I guess I am old school and I enjoy a little treble...actually quite a bit of treble. I've grown used to it but it still bugs me when I think about it. They can handle very loud audio with breaking up or distorting as well so that's a plus.
   
   All in all very nice headphones that are made to last for years. The look is very high-end and people will be able to tell you spent some cash on them if that is important to you. I just wish the sound they produced was a bit different.



2. i purchased these so i only had to have one set for both my laptop and my iphone. the sound quality is okay, although i don't notice that big an improvement over my old aiwa headphones. but even the smallest silicone buds don't fit in my ears, and the weight of the wires pulls them out unless .... i .... sit .... very .... still ....
