1. I LOVE the Sony street headsets, but I thought JVC is a good brand, why not give it a shot. The earcovers are HUGE, and the sound is not great. Nice to have another control on the volume, though. Not the greatest.

1. I purchased these headphones to use with my portable mp3 player. Technically, I purchased the HP-700 model which does not fold, but I assume they are similar.
   
   Right on the packaging, it says "Gold plated mini-plug" yet the plug is NOT gold-plated at all, it is in fact a standard nickel-plated mini plug. The sound is incredibly tinny and even with the volume control is lower volume than my Sony headphones without the volume control. In addition, the plug does not create a tight fit with the player, so that as you move on a cardio machine, it slides around and causes static and lack of sound in the headphones.
   
   This is the second pair of Maxell headphones I have had trouble with in the past 6 months. I have learned my lesson. NO MORE MAXELL!

1. Koss' model KHP21V over-the-ear headphones are a solid value for the dollar. Weighing in at a little over 1 pound, these little beauties are great for music listeners on a budget who don't want to compromise on audio quality. Now, don't get me wrong, they're not as "high-end" in listening quality as Bose or Sennheiser models, but they are more than adequate for casual listeners or those who'd like an inexpensive set of headphones around the house.
   
   To help with your buying decision, let me simply sum up the pros and cons of this headphone.
   
   PROS-
   1) Great price (under $20).
   2) Their weight makes them easy to wear for longer periods of time.
   3) Surprisingly noise-reducing (without claiming to be).
   4) Inline volume control is a nice added feature normally found on more
   expensive models.
   5) Solid bass tones without being overbearing.
   
   CONS-
   1) Because of their lightness, durability is an issue.
   2) Cord length - around 4'.
   3) Generally a little light in volume so volume must be cranked up on
   Mp3 player or computer.
   
   All in all, this is a solid buy for music lovers on a budget! Enjoy!

I needed a backup for the headset that came with my iPhone and this one certainly works well, but the control for answering calls or pausing the music is not as conveniently located as the one that comes witht he iphone. The left ear bud that has the control has a much shorter cable than the right one, which makes it easy to easily know which is right and which is left. The sound quality is very good and I would recommend this product.



2. I bought these directly from RadTech when they came out. I must say I wasn't expecting much for $25, but these things are awesome. They fit and sound way better than the apple headset. Also, the uneven cord design is nice because you can easily tell which is left and right and it allows u to throw the longer cord around your neck so you can easily pop them out and let them hang on your shoulder without them falling to the floor. The mic and phone/music control button work as advertised. I would recommend to anyone looking for a replacement headset for the iPhone!
