- works well, I like it. sound quality is good if your transmitter signal is high enough. If the volume is too low on the transmitter the headset cannot compensate. I think this is a generic issue and is often what other reviewers of competing products are complaining about when they talk of static and the like.
The nice feature of these headphones is that they can handle many (7?) devices. You can switch between them at will.
The UI for doing that and for pairing is somewhat confusing but the documentation is okay and you do get the hang of it.
I love the earbud feel, though I hated the earpiece covers. They were too soft to stay in my ear -- kept falling out. I replaced them with a set from an older pair of earbuds and am happy now.
- First the good - the sound quality is not bad, the range is good, it blocks outside noise well and it is LOUD. I also tried, and I am also sending back, a Jabra BT8040 for not being loud enough to hear when I am on the street and a bus goes by. Not a problem with this item. One could easily get it too loud.
Now the bad -
The dongle is huge! Probably twice the size of an ipod shuffle.
It does not clip onto your clothes very easily and there is an annoying super bright blue LED that flashes all the time.
The cords are too short to put the dongle into your pocket or otherwise get it out of the way, it is designed to clip on your collar-- Where it is big, heavy and flashing blue all the time! Yikes!
The controls are not easy to use by touch. It is just not well thought out. It's going back.
If you want to listen to music when you work out,a small mp3 player would be more convenient than this.

- These are great earbuds. I first got them out of the box, put the foam coverings on, and it sounded like i was surrounded by speakers. They have excellent sound quality and the bass is too good for words. They are also somewhat noise canceling which is a great bonus. Why would you pay more when these are just as good as the $50 ones?

- I bought these based on appearance, and will refer everyone to this site for earbuds at a great price and surperb quality. I travel extensively and the hours I log on an airplane desperately require noise cancellation. These are impressive. You can spend all you want on high-end head phones or get several these for a fraction of the cost. I'll be back for more. Check it out for yourself.
- After reading all the positive reviews about these SOUND-SQUARED earbuds, I am a little disappointed by the sound quality of this one. The sound is clear, but not well balanced. It is mostly on the high and middle frequency. The bass is missing a little. The sound quality also depends on how you position them in your ear. If you don't push them hard enough against your ear, the sound could be almost squeaky. It's got a noise-reducing effect by making air-tight chambers in the ears, which means you have to force the rubbers deep into your ears. I feel quite uncomfortable with that, especially after some time of continuous listening. But this could be personal, because I've seen quite some reviews appreciating the comfort of this kind of earbuds. Overall, it is buyable for the price but does not offer a balanced sound.
- I have purchased several in-ear earbuds....these are the worst by far...I wouldn't even give them away. They look great, but sound terrible.

- I own an older pair of these, so decided to get another one based on performance of previous model. Like this one better in terms of ease of use (auto tuning), but don't like the headphones because they are very uncomfortable. I have taped the inner tension panel to the upper panel to make them less tight on my head.
- These are the absolute worst headphone I've ever owned. The sound is terrible if you can get it working at all. The tuning button feels like playing the lottery, you press it and hope you'll hear some sound. Maybe a few minutes later you'll be fortunate that it will actually find one of the right frequency. Most of the time I can't even get the things working. When it does, the sound is terrible, it's rough with occasional popping.
