  1. The earphones are being used by my grandson because he puts the sound on
the computer louder than the TV which is in the same room. We always had
to tell him to turn down the volume. I could not find any headphones that
had volume control in any of our stores. These headphones are great!!
They are comfortable and the volume could be set easily. We are very happy to be able to hear the TV!! The price was very reasonable and the package was well packed and received sooner than I expected!!

  2. I tried to use these last weekend while I was gardening. The moment I looked down they fell off. I adjusted them often, but they just would not stay on my ears forlong. They were not expensive and I guess you get what you pay for.

  3. The headpones arrived very soon after I ordered them. The are a beautiful metallic red that matches my new red MP3 player. They fold, which is really neat for storing them. They sound fine to me. I'm very satisfied with the purchase. My only concern is with the cord. It's pretty thin and I hope it dosen't weaken and short-out.

  1. Overall pleased with this product - some echo, not a large amount of space availablitiy between the ear piece and base. Beyond that, it serves its purpose.

  1. SONY MDRG74SL STREET STYLE FOLDING NECKBAND HEADPHONES

The headphones sound GREAT!!!. The only reason I didn't give them a full 5 stars is they don't adjust for size. They fit me fine, but are a tiny bit short for my wife, who also got a pair.

  1. Sound great, a little tricky to get around my ears and in place. These headphones really need a carrying case of some kind.

  2. Nice and light. I can wear the phones for hours without discomfort.
They will cause some discomfort IF you push them too far into the ear, but if worn properly they are just fine...
NO instructions came with the earphones.

  3. The design of these earbuds are something to behold: a delicate clamp that keeps the buds in your ears without actually passing the berrier of the outer ear. The sonic success is more arguable.

Some of the mids sound very accurate and even exciting, and the feel around your ears is quite a departure from standard earbuds and in-ear monitors. But because the buds always remain outside your ear, noise from outside can be an issue. Moreover, these seem to lack the kind of definition I was looking for; the bass was muddy and undefined, and the treble lacks snap.

Maybe the most worrisome aspect of these earbuds has nothing to do with the product itself. A number of Asian bootlegs of the earbud have been marketed online, selling for under a few dollars. They look like the original, but they sound quite different. If you're going to invest in a pair, make certain it comes in the original cardboard box with literature. Otherwise, you can almost guarantee that it's a fake. A respected name like Audio-Technica deserves more more.

  4. So I've tried many (most every in ear from $60 to $500) and like these a lot. I think they are the best head set if you don't want a in-ear set.
That said, the real problem with these is they are not in-ear. If you press them into your ear to block out ambient noise they sound incredible. The base and treble are very accurate. I got them because the in-ear headsets block out at least 25db and some up to 35db. This is great for sound but bad if you want to hear what is going on around you.
Also, these things are a work of art. Every one that looks at them smiles and want to touch them. They way they fit is awesome.

  5. My husband wanted better sound when running with his ipod, but the noise cancelling in-ear headphones raised safety concerns for this urban jogger. These hybrids proved the perfect solution. Very light, stay put while running and deliver great sound.

  1. This product was fair. The 10-channel feature is nice, but after 2 days the power button broke and I had to tape it in the on position. It works fine except for that, but pretty unfortunate that mine has to work this way.

I get good reception anywhere in my house. But I live in a ranch and can only get about 50 feet from the transmitter. The instructions says it only works for up to 30 feet, so that is what you should expect unless you're lucky.

The phones recharge when they're attached to the base. This is nicer than my last set of Radioshack wireless headphones, which simply took 2 AAA batteries, although with this last pair I simply used rechargables as well.

You should also know that when the headphones and transmitter are on but not receiving an audible signal from the sound source, that they make a loud static noise. So in the silence in-between songs be prepared to listen to a little static.

The phones are kind of difficult to fit into the charger sometimes.

I would say overall this product is fair. If you have better luck than me your power button might not break right away.

  2. After only a few weeks of gentle use, the pieces that hold the earphones cracked and fell apart. I now hold it together with electrical tape. Otherwise, it works just about as advertised.

After so many years of sturdy headphone manufacturing, you'd think this is one thing that they could've gotten right.

  3. These headphones aren't up to expectations. The general fit is loose to the point where the ear pieces do not stay put and they dont grip your head.

The audio quality is dissapointing. Unless there is constant signal output from the headphones, electronic HUM (quite loud in fact) is all you will hear. In order to get a workable audio, you must turn down the volume control on the headset to the point where it almost becomes inaudible.

Unless you aren't concerned with quality, spend your money elsewhere.

  4. My wife and I have been looking at Wireless Headphones for when we exercise. We have looked at several different models to date and came across the Coby. While I had no problem with the unit (at first), my wife hated the way it felt and how much it moved while she was on the treadmill. Anyway, After a couple of days of use, I plugged the transmitter into our Big Screen TV and all I head was an annoying hum and screach. I unplugged it fromt he TV and went backt o my IPod and nothing changed. I spent the next hour walking around the house plugging this fool thing into different outlets and while the sound improved a bit, The hum and screach were always more powerful. In order to be fair, I did take this a step further and disconnected all cordless phones, wireless networks, etc. just to see if that would make a difference, It didn't. This product is now back in it's original package and will be on it's way to Amazon.
I can not tell you to avoid purchasing this item as it may work for you but I will advise you to think twice and carefully review other products before settling with this one.

  5. My neck hurts after listening to these for a while.
Also the volume control is funky. Every time you start it, the volume starts out at a deafening level.
    Sound quality is so-so
    Overall I regret buying these.
