1. I really don't care for the highly reflective screen surface (which seems to be the fad these days I guess). The reflections (of me, and anything behind me) can make actual screen contents a little more tiring to focus on, particularly for longer sessions.
   
   My next comment may also not be unique to this model or brand, and is possibly even a graphics card issue rather than a monitor issue: At 1920 x 1200 the screen looks good, but I'd rather a slightly 'lower' setting; but unless I drop all the way to 1280 x 800, for any in-between-those-two-settings text characters are not well formed unless the aspect ratio is widened to something that looks goofy.
   
   But no unequivocal problems with the monitor so far, so take the above comments with a grain of salt.



2. This thing is very mediocre. The 26" DS-263N or DS-265W are the best values in the monitor industry. Why don't you have them?

1. I purchased 2 to go with a new TSS-1200 speaker set, because when paired with the speakers they looked very elegant, then I bought 2 more for the rear surrounds because it made my old generic stands look horrible:) Assembly was quick, but a bit tricky to do by yourself as there are several parts that fit together just so when you put the screws in the base. The base is weighted, but the speakers at the top are pretty heavy so it is not something I would recommend around dogs or kids, and I cant comment on stability on thick carpeting. There are small rubber feet to prevent scuffing on hard floors. The speakers fit perfectly into the top, and it looks like a single unit tall column. There is no room however for almost any wire connectors, especially banana plugs.
