  1. I bought this TV stand two months ago and it is great! It looks like I spent twice as much on it. It took about an hour to put it together, and the finished product is excellent. It is very sturdy for our tv (a 42' flat screen Philips weighing about 90 lbs) and it's the perfect length, doesn't sag in the middle at all. The black finish looks great as well, hasn't scratched. It has glass doors and plenty of room for our DVR, DVD player, XBOX and many DVD's. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.

  2. This is one of the best tv stands i've purchased. It is a quality purchase that even holds my 182 lb. tv. Would purchase this one again!

  3. After reading a number of reviews on Amazon and other sites, I felt that this piece of furniture was the best value available. By the way, I ordered this piece and paid for 1-day shipping, which was only $10 and it arrived in 1-day, all 113 lbs!
A couple of things you should know before purchasing this item. First, it is 100% particle board, no real wood. Not necessarily a problem, but just so you know what you are getting. Second, check all pieces before assembling. I got about half-way through the 3 1/2 hour job (not sure how the one reviewer did it in 1 hour!) and realized that one of the pieces had cracked paint. Given the location of the piece and the lack of desire to return, I continued anyway. Some of the pieces don't line up as well as they should and you may need to force a few together. (Doors are tricky to line up perfectly)
However, given the price I paid and the strength and appearance of the piece, I still feel it was a good purchase. I would recommend this piece, just not highly recommend.

  1. While the quality of the item seems above the norm, customer service from this company is dreadful. My new equipment sat around in boxes waiting for a replacement for a damaged shelf that was delayed, then delayed again, by mix-ups on the company's part. Their refusal to budge an inch from their standard process, even though it meant further delay for a very unhappy consumer who had gotten tired of run-arounds and excuses, is a far cry from the real customer service I've experienced elsewhere. I will never buy another TechCraft item.

  2. I saw this item at CompUSA, but then found it at Amazon. It was only a few dollars cheaper here, but also no sales tax & free shipping. It would have been a hastle to get it home from my local CompUSA in my small Toyota Celica, so having it delivered and for less money was a no-brainer. Then Amazon got it to me waaay faster than they estimated. The stand is heavy but I was able to get it into the house & assemble it myself (& I'm not a big guy). Very pleased & Amazon rocks!

  3. This seems like a high-quality stand. As another review stated, this TV holds a 52" Samsung LCD just fine--LN52A550 in my case. The bracket width adjusts sufficiently for the set's mount-hole spacing, and the TV mount's 150-lb rating easily accomodates the 60-lb TV. Looks nice and goes together quite easily--instructions state it's a two person job, and it probably should be, but I managed it all myself, aside from hanging my rather large TV.

Minor quality issue: one of the four screws for the front legs was too short by about a quarter of an inch. I left voicemail for Techcraft on a Friday evening, and the representative who called me Monday stated that a replacement screw would be sent right away. I received it the following Friday, and it was the correct length--problem solved.

Minor feature issues: the TV mount swivels, but the swivel range is not very wide. The mount does not tilt. It would be nice if it did tilt or if there were more TV-mount washers/spacers for the largest-diameter mounting screws, as my TV hangs tilted very slightly downward.

Overall, I absolutely love this stand and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an A/V stand with a floating TV mount.

  4. This unit looks great, holds my 52" LCD with no problem. Has plenty of room for components with enough room for a center speaker to fit between the TV and top shelf. The box it arrived in was beat to hell, but the unit did not have anything broken, dented, or missing. It does the job!

  5. The Techcraft TV stand has an appealing clean, sleek design and is good value for the money. It came well packaged (a good thing, since the shelves are glass and the outer box arrived quite battered). It provides the needed tools for putting it together, but no extra screws or parts, so you need to be careful not to lose any. The TV stand itself can be tricky to put together, and the instructions caution that two people may be required for virtually every step of the process. It can be done by one person if you are strong and patient. However, the glass is easy to chip, so you need to be very careful putting the shelves together with the legs. Once completed, it presents a sturdy but attractive centerpiece, which allows you to easily swivel your large screen TV and has a clever hollow core for hiding your power cords and cables to maintain a clean look. I knocked one star off the rating because of the lack of extra bolts or screws, the ease with which it chips, and the fact that most people will need to have help to put it together.

  1. I was just at P.C. Richards and let me tell you this table is a steal compared to the tables these retailers sell which are nearly 3xs as much in cost and 2xs the size. This table is quite sturdy and perfect for LCD/Plasma TVs and small sized tube televisions. I have my 52" Samsung LCD on it and I must say the table is just big enough to fit the size of the stand that comes attached to Samsung sets. It is also the perfect height for bedroom viewing. Go for it!

  1. All things about this purchase went as well as I intended. The product is no high end audio quality, but that's not what I was looking for. Everything fit and it all works fine. It looks pretty good too, if I do say so myself.......

  2. The product it self seams to be OK but I have been waiting over 3 weeks for the parts to come that I did not recieve with the original package. If you are going to order this product or any product from techcraft, count all your parts before you start to assemble it or you will end up with a OK tv stand sitting in the corner waiting for your peices to come. What I don't understand is why it takes weeks to send small parts when Amazon was able to get the entire shipment to me in less then a week?

  3. The first time i ordered this item, some parts were missing. I called the manufacturer to send me the missing parts, & their customer support was soo poor!! Amazon sent me a replacement within a week, but the replacement was missing parts too!!So i am returing both to amazon.

  4. I purchased this Techcraft TV stand for the sole purpose housing my Xbox 360, PS3, and my VX32L LCD TV. My room is only 10 feet long and wide. This small but sturdy tv stand is perfect for my room because of of its minimal size. It has enough space to fit 3 consoles and the side shelf serves as perfect storage for games and DVDs.

For those college students or people with small room, this is the perfect stand for your LCD.

  1. I bought this and added it to my 27 inch base. It works, but looks unbalanced and after a few months I decided to remove it...

  2. I bought this TV/VCR kit along with the turntable (both 20") versions. It fit together well, and was easy to put together. It does exactly what it's supposed to do: VCR fits fine, turntable works well, and it holds the TV solidly.

  3. This is a great quality, well built product - but read carefully. It is only the component add-on shelf and does not include the TV turntable which must be purchased separately.

  1. its a great product, very strong tv stand can hold your vcr/dvd player, room for magazines and whatever else u may put, remotes etc.Great Product

  2. TV stand was VERY easy to put together--no tools needed!! A second person (or one man) may be needed due to the weight. It's plenty roomy for our 37" LCD flatscreen TV and looks GREAT!!

  3. i can't screw in a light bulb it i put this together in about 30 minutes! this is a great product!

  4. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! When one purchases a cheap piece of furniture, one should only expect a cheap piece of furniture. However, the one I received turned out to be defective, as it was missing the drilled holes in the bottom board necessary to assemble the piece. Defects happen, but with the a $50 stand and the associated shipping costs for such a product and the fact that it wasn't being sold directly by Amazon, the logic to support going through the hassle of returning the product simply wasn't there. Additionally, in part, I purchased this item because the reviews seemed okay. However, after having seen the product, had there been no issues with the one shipped to me, I can say that it is below par even for its price. Thus, $50+Shipping in the trash.

  5. The box says "no tools required" and I was sure that was because it included a pathetic little screwdriver and wrench inside. NOT SO! This is the first piece of assembly furniture I have ever put together that absolutely requires no tools. The pieces are numbered and fit together well, and the instruction booklet, with its large graphics and flow-chart style, makes it easy to follow. It took me approx. 1/2 hour to assemble. I am very pleased with it.

  1. the shelf is perfect for my dorm room because it is compact and holds a lot of stuff, but if i was still at home, i would have bought soemthing else

  2. This rack came in a small box with the parts needed for construction, no extra tools needed. The entire rack consists of plastic frame reinforced by metal bars for each shelf, making the entire thing seem somewhat weak or unstable looking. Comes with wall mounters which i didn't use, you'll have to consult with somebody else about those. But for the most part, the product is rather stable and my rack of ps2 games hasn't fallen down yet, which i say is a huge plus because it's a full 90 dvds. The shelves however themselves aren't shelves, it's just like, 2 bars pretty much, so they sometimes sit in the hole on the shelf layer rather than the shelf itself. I have not had any dvd topples or falls or real incidents with it so i say that's more or less a minor setback, but its still there.

At this point I am satisfied with this product; its compact, holds 90 dvds, cheap, and it works. May not be as nice as a real wooden media shelf, but hey, you get what you pay for.

  3. I bought this stand because of its smaller size to fit between a fireplace and a window and it works beautifully. The stand comes in a lot of pieces but goes together fast and easy. There are 2 wall braces that require being screwed into the wall. This makes it super sturdy.

  4. It was hard to put together. The instructions were unclear. I finally got it together and I really like it. I just wish it was bigger. I will definitely order another one.

  5. I expected it to be wider and taller from the picture I diddnt expect it to be so small and to come in such a small box! But I do have to say it does do the job that it says it is supose to do! Oh and it only holds DVDs not VHS tapes or anything!

  1. Very high quality, good looking ,sturdy, easy to assemble. I would buy again. Amazon price beats all.

  2. I was impressed with these stands. I have carpet and these stands come with spikes that go on the bottom of the stands to hold them in place. I was surprised with how heavy they were and was glad to see the variety of ways to hook up speakers to the stands.

  3. I am impressed with these stands. The bases are nice and heavy, which help to reduce knock overs, especially if you have kids in the house. I especially like the fact that the bases are narrow, so they fit nicely in tight spaces.

  4. Nice, unobtrusive balck speaker stands. They have carpet spikes so that they stay in place and you can also string the speaker wire up through the stand itself to minimize the visibility of the wire. The tightening screw for extending the stand up and down is plastic and feels cheap to me, but is doing the job admirably for now. Great product for the price!

  5. Don't get me wrong, these are very nice speaker stands. However, they are not compatable with the Bose 321 Speaker System. The bracket to attach to the speakers must be modified before use (and I mean cutting metal)and since Bose uses a wiring harness, you must cut the wire before you can feed it through the hollow tubes. I was just not willing to do all that when I can buy the overpriced Bose stands and not have to modify anything. I called Customer Service at Sanus and the guy I spoke with was nice but completely oblivious to what I had to say. He told me it shouldn't be that expensive to have a machine shop cut the brackets down to size and that if I didn't mind hacking through my speaker wire and taping them back together, it should not have any effect on the sound. HUH??

  1. Love this item. The quality and color are excellent and it looks great with my new TV. Also instructions are easy to understand and it was very easy to assemble.

  2. For 50 bucks you can't beat it...easy to put together, and is quite sturdy. The glass doors are a nice touch. It holds my PS3 and 32inch lcd with ease. Although there are cheap parts, it's what you would expect from a tv stand in this price category. It is also one of nicer TV stands I've seen and won't cost you 500 big ones.

  3. It was easy to put together and the instructions were very good. It looks very nice. I have a 32" set on top of it, an HD receiver on one shelf, and a dvd player on the other. Some may object to the bottom shelf being close to the floor but it's not a problem for us. Nice touch on the push release doors.

  4. This TV stand was very easy to put together, it took about 20 min. I had a humongous tv stand and wanted to downsize. It's good for the money also.

  5. This was the easiest piece of funiture I ever assembled. The design is fantastic. It was together in no time and Looks GREAT!
