1. I needed a tall stand for my new, 40" Samsung LCD HDTV to place in my bedroom. Other stands out there are made for the living room and are only between 20" and 25" -- much too short for me to be able to view over my high bed.
   
   This stand is 31" high and solidly constructed of metal and tempered glass. In the description it says it can accomodate a TV up to 37", but my Samsung is 40" and has a small base that fits perfectly on this stand.
   
   I searched for about two weeks until I found this product. It suited my needs perfectly, and I would definitely recommend it. Oh, and it's packed really well. All of the parts survived shipping here to New Jersey!

1. The package was shipped very quickly - that was appreciated. I have the same exact TV as the one featured on Amazon.com's graphic and on the box of the product (both GE items).

   The first thing I noticed is that the plastic rivet do-dad in the middle of the turntable kept falling apart when I first put the TV on top of it. After several tries in which I would place the unit under the TV and the turntable's middle rivet would pop out, I eventually figured out that the TV has to sit in exactly the right spot of the swivel or I ended up scrambling on the floor looking for the detached plastic rivet do-dad.

   The best way to make this work - use two people. One person lifts up the TV, the other one slips the unit under it in just the right spot.

   Anyway, I've had the turntable for a day or so and it seems okay now. I recommend buying the swivel only if you have some patience with this kind of thing.




2. This turntable was exactly what I needed and at a good price. The same thing at Best Buy would be precisely double the price, as they have to get their profit also.



3. Works great with my 19" TV. Now I can watch TV in bed or at my computer without turning the TV myself. Prevents back strain.



4. Good price, good service and good product. It saves my time to move the TV everytime. At the beginning, I was worried about the TV will not stayable on it but it doesn't. If you need to turn your TV every time, I recommend this product.



5. Works great. Very thin so it's not obvious that my TV is sitting on it. Very smooth and easy to turn the TV. I use a 27" CRT.

1. If you have several components in your home theater or audio system, this tower is great with its 5 shelves. The shelves are not adjustable but I found the space provided for each shelf sufficient as it was, allowing enough room for the components that give off heat. The holes in the back help organize all the wires somewhat so they're not a complete mess. The metal frame is fairly sturdy and the shelves thick tempered glass; despite that, it's easy to move around when needed. The only slight negative about the design is that the clamps which help hold the shelves in place are only on one side of the unit, which surprised me. It seems that the suction cups on the rods that stick to the shelves do a fine job of holding them in place though. I've had no problems with the unit at all. Be sure when you get it that you have help though - the package is very heavy and requires two people to move.



2. I purchased the companion to this piece, the matching TV stand, for my 40" Samsung LCD HDTV. While the stand is nice, I needed another stand for my audio components.
   
   Built of sturdy metal and tempered glass, it stands over 35" tall and gives me perfect access to my components from across my bedroom. I use this stand to hold my Sony STR-DG910 7.1 receiver, a Samsung upconverting DVD player, a VCR, my Playstation 2, the cable box, and I still have room on the very top glass shelf for photos and the like. The shelves are tall so you can stack components on top of each other if you wish, and the airy design allows for plenty of ventilation.
   
   Like the previous reviewer said, this product is packed very well and can be heavy because of the tempered glass pieces. The best way to overcome that is to unbox everything and carry it into your house or apartment. There aren't many pieces, and I managed it fine by myself (and I'm a woman).

1. It sorta does what you want. For under $15 I guess it is okay. Nothing special, nothing wrong though.



2. You won't a better antenna for the money with this antenna. I live in a strong signal area (less than 5 miles to the transmitters). This antenna has performed the best out of all the rabbit ears/loop indoor antennas(both with and without amplifier) that I have tried.
   
   On analog TV, I was able to produce very strong pictures with minimal noise. On a digital TV using only the loop, this antenna produced some of the highest signal levels I have seen using any indoor antenna. I was able to receive all yellow and red stations listed for my location on AntennaWeb.
   
   The small form factor and 4' ribbon cable makes it great for adjusting the placement for the best reception. If your TV has an antenna receptacle, you can separate the loop and rabbit ears to better place the loop for improved UHF reception.
   
   While this antenna performed the best out of the antennas I tested, it certainly is not without its flaws. It certainly won't pull in weak signals. It won't improve ghosting due to multi-path. Also, the ribbon cable tends to receive more electrical interference than a coaxial cable would. I also recommend not using the included coaxial cable adapter unless you are using only one of the antennas. You should instead use a VHF/UHF combiner/diplexer. Otherwise, half your signal will be retransmitted out the other antenna.
   
   Even with its flaws, you won't find a better indoor antenna for the price of this one.
