1. The TV stand was delivered as promised and the unit was relatively easy to assemble. It has very good quality/appearance of blond oak wood veneer over particle board.
   
   I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a high stand to view from, say in bed.

1. This is the next size from the two that come with the stand, the bigger one. But with a 46" LCD there's just enough space on the leg of the stand to space all the shelves out usefully. Unless you have a couple of Tivos, a set-top box, a DVD player, a center channel speaker and a game console you may find the standard shelves sufficient.
   
   Just one word of advice, get the stand close to where you want it before you load up all the shelves. It's very hard to move once it is full of gear.
