5 comments about Sanus Systems HTB-7 Home Theater Speaker Stand.
  1. I looked for this item in the store and could not even come close to the price I paid and they came with wall brackets that i never even expected.

  2. I got a new sony dvd player with surround sound and it did not come with the stands on a six speaker system and when I looked them up on Sony's website, they were 99.99 and when I saw these, I got them and they do the very same thing for a fraction of the cost. They work perfect with my Sony speakers and I got two sets. Very easy and fast to set up and it comes with various brackets for different spekers. I put my front and surround sound on them and watched the fast and the furious tonight. When I got in my car after the movie I felt like I was living the movie. They were just the perfect hight for my system to be able to reach its full potential. They are the perfect stands for small speakers.

  3. Good stands for the price, attractive, good heavy base (hint, never buy speaker stands with glass bases, like I did last time, the glass develops hairline cracks at the base of the stand). Base is a flat black (textured), post is a "brushed aluminum" sort of look.

  4. Bought these speaker stands after reading some reviews on Amazon. I thought, 'what the heck, if they stink, I'll only have spend $35'. I was surprised when they arrived and I assembled them. The stands are as well constructed as you would expect, with adapters for just about any kind of satellite speaker you'll find (keyhole, etc). I bought the first set for my rear speakers and am now getting ready to buy a second set for the front speakers to elevate them off the bookshelf. Good product with excellent value.

  5. These stands are made with a heavy base and are easily adjustable. They come with various screws and setups for different speakers, but bear in mind that only small satellite speakers will fit into its bent shape. The assembly was very easy.

5 comments about Sanus HTB4 Glass Base Home Theater/Box Speaker Stands.
  1. Firstly, this is NOT A QUALITY ISSUE - although it was somewhat disappointing to find tiny glass shavings on the glass bases, requiring additional time to first wipe all the components with damp paper towels prior to assembling them .. I understand some reviews of this stand are favorable - each to their own, but I chose to return this product for a refund.

In my opinion this stand has DESIGN/AESTHETIC and FUNCTIONAL problems, specifically concerning the GLASS BASE and the SPEAKER CONNECTION ADAPTERS.

    GLASS BASE:
    1) It doesn't lay flat on the floor, but is raised about 2" or 3" in the corner where the stand connects to the base .. NOTE - if you TAKE A CLOSE LOOK at the picture of the stand around the base plate area - which I failed to do before I bought them - you will notice the stand appears to go BELOW the glass base and the two opposite corners are also slightly raised .. This is not an illusion, the glass base doesn't touch the floor - While some may consider this a design "enhancement", I consider it a design flaw.
    2) The base is pretty sizeable - too big when trying to position the speaker along side certain furniture.
    3) The screws which connect to/through the base are all tightened by hand (as I recall), which I veiw as another drawback.

SEAKER CONNECTION ADAPTERS: They did not conveniently fit my speakers (standard Rear Surround's) - there was one kludgey combination, but it looked completely horrible.

  2. These stands are quite sturdy for small and/or light book shelf speakers. The glass and metal look is great and the stalks are adjustable to be tall enough next to my 56" LCD RPTV.

One note is that the largest gauge speaker wire you can pass throught the stands is 16g. I had some 14g that I was using and it would not fit through the openings.

  3. Great product, matches my t.v. stand. But keep in mind that the glass bases do not hide the speaker wire very well but that is obvious and I purchased with knowing that.

  4. Very sturdy and beautiful stands- several different ways to mount speakers, both bottom and back mounts. However, the assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. Read the written instructions and look at the diagram in the back and you'll be able to figure out where most of the parts go. Going on just the written instructions will leave important parts out :)

  5. I was not totally satisfied with this product. I have assembled 100's it items at home before but still the assembly of this one was quite confusing. The major source of disappointment was the way the stand looks once assemebled. Once completely assmembled, the glass base of the stand doesn't sit parallel to the floor, rather it slopes towards the front, making the entire stand look quite awkward. None of the pictures on the box or in the assemebly instructions clearly show this. So I had to struggle with it for while, trying to figure out what I was doing "wrong". (why it won't sit flat with the floor). Finally called the customer support only to be told that the "slopped base" was by design. So be aware of this

5 comments about Mitsubishi MB-73PB Matching Base for WD-73734/WD-73733.
  1. Base is not too bad but way too costly. I have seen similiar units for hundreds of dollars less.

  2. I got this at the same time I got the WD-73733. When I was researching the TV, the stores I visited didn't carry this stand. They had ones that were a lot more expensive and, much more important, weren't slotted specifically for the TV to slide into. After you place the TV you then bolt it to the stand with an "L" bracket and four screws. This is important since I live in California, earthquake central. Knowing that the TV is not going to fall off the stand is a tremendous comfort. As for storage, it comfortably holds eight peripherals including a large center channel speaker. I couldn't be happier with it.

  3. I got this TV stand after a couple days delivery delay caused by Eagle delivery contractor. I feel I did the right thing by purchasing this stand, you can't get this size stand for this price, it's sturdy, looking good, previously assumbled (just install the glass shelf) and suitable for the 73" mitsubishi TV. It's heavy and needs two people to carry it, however, I put felt pads under it and now I can move the TV with stand easily on the wood floor underneath it, even my seven years old can do that! I would recommend this to a friend.

  4. When I decided to get a new HDTV, the one I selected the Mitsubishi 73' needed a base and I selected the Mitsubishi MB-73PB Matching Base for WD-73734/WD-73733. It's a beautiful black base that fits the TV absolutely perfect. In addition, I also use it for the placement of DVD's.

  5. The stand holds the Mitsubishi TV very well and offers plenty of space for your "stuff." However, it doesn't have a back to it so all of your cables kind of show through. It creates somewhat of an eyesore or distraction to the perceptive individual.

1 comments about Bell'O PVS-4218T Flat Panel Audio Video System (Titanium Silver).
  1. Bell'O did an excellent job with this TV and Entertainment Stand--the Titanium/Silver PVS-4218T Entertainment Center for flat panel TVs. Sitting on my stand is the Sony KDL-40XBR2 40" 1080p LCD HDTV (titanium/silver in color), so they are a perfect match. Any flat panel TV in silver or platinum color will look great on this stand. The whole stand is held together by the back board/panel of the stand, so there is nothing obstructing the sides or front of the stand. This provides a clear view of all your TV-related appliances such as the VHS Player, DVD Player and Xbox, with plenty of room for many more.

This stand is so classy looking that it will show off everything you own beautifully with all the wires tucked away within the back panel where there are holes/openings for the cables/wires to reach from the wall to your systems, and between the systems. The glass is clean, clear and strong; thick enough to hold 125 pounds of TV on the top shelf and 50 pounds of appliances on each of the bottom two shelves (according to Bell'O). It will look good with any flat panel TV up to 50" (diagonally measured). Most websites had the wrong measurements, so I measured it for you so that you know what space you'll need for it.

The top glass shelf is the longest, and it measures 50" wide x 16" deep. The middle glass shelf is 42" wide x 14.8" deep. The bottom glass shelf is 42" wide x 17.75" deep. However, the back metal panel that holds up all three shelves measures, nearly 16" wide x 3.25" deep x 22" high. The entire space the stand takes up is 50" wide x 21" deep x 22.25" high. Keep in mind though that you'll want about 3" behind the stand if you want to keep your surge suppressor behind the stand to protect your expensive TV and appliances. My recommended floor space for this stand is 50" wide x 24" depth.

This is a classy and beautiful Entertainment/TV Stand.

  1. For the money, this audio shelving system will not dissapoint most. It is very clean looking and rather easy to install. We had to make some minor adjustment due to our home being CBS construction and do not have the ability to screw the brackets into the studs. The one draw back was the design of the cable management system. It only allows you to pull the cables from the very bottom or top of the brackets and not in the middle where the shelves and thus the components sit. There is a little wire showing but for the money it is worth it.

1 comments about TV Stand with Glass Doors - Black.
  1. I find this item to have a better use for a computer and printer stand. This, as you see, allows one to set a printer on top while the CPU and UPS system underneath. The middle shelve can be used then for a personal Network to allow a user an ideal spot to place any device that is easily connected neatly to the server. The Glass door helps to keep the dust down and protects from any spills, although the rear panel has to be removed as the depth will not suit this intended purpose.
