2. I bought this TV back in the fall of 2005 for 500 bucks. Frankly, the picture quality is fairly poor using a direct cable feed, it's fuzzy and indistinct. The child lock feature is fairly intrusive as well. Basically it's 500 bucks for a lousy TV. The only reason I bought it was for its slim profile. I didn't have the room for a conventional tube TV which would have cost me a fifth of the price of this TV. Plus, the TV failed within 4 months. I had to beg Magnavox to cover this TV under warranty. They give you a paltry 90 days. That's a joke. I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

1. Don't expect any service from a third rated company.
   If you are buying a big ticket item or an expensive item, don't go with Samsung.
   They will not help you when it breaks down even when it's under the warranty.
   They will delay it until the warranty is over.



2. stay away from amazon, filled with rippers offering low cost for products and who gets screwd, you do and amazon isn't doing anything about it, also don't trust this site http://www.escrowd.com it is a fake site made up to take your money, do not trust it as it isn't listed with BBB as a business in Paris France

1. Mitsubishi once positioned itself on the upper scale of quality video and television products. No more. The sound from this TV is pure tin box and their customer service and customer relations is pure garbage. Don't touch this or any other Mitsubishi Television product with a 10-pole. You'll be taken and you'll be sorry. Sony, Samsung and Sharp offer superior products and customer service. Mitsubishi has fallen to the bottom of the dung heap.
