- This is a great TV. I got it from a site that wasn't amazon for under 350 dollars. I personally think that the picture is really great for the price. I use it mostly for gaming, and my PS2 games that support progressive scan look awesome on the TV. There is no image lag or anything like that. Also, the TV is nicely designed, and is perfect for my college dorm room. Maybe once I get a PS3 in a few years then I can really test out the HD...

- I purchased this plasma TV through Amazon 4 months ago. The transaction and shipping went very smoothly. I also purchased the wall mounting bracket through Amazon (an excellent value for only $150).
The TV is great -- excellent picture and great audio for those of you who do not use their surround sound system every time the set is on. However, a problem recently surfaced a few days ago: When playing DVDs on the Component 1 channel, the picture on the screen is no longer centered -- it is offset by about 20% to the left side. After trying to remedy the problem myself, I contacted Panasonic Customer Service (be prepared to wait at least 20-30 minutes on the phone before being connected to a representative). After explaining the problem, the rep indicated it would warrant a service call by a repair person (as of this writing, the appointment is scheduled within the next few days) Luckily, the warranty covers in-house repairs for one year, but you do have to remove the TV from the wall mount yourself so it is accessible to the repair person.
I'll admit I'm a bit skeptical about the reliabilty of the TV now, especially since it developed this problem within 4 months. I'm not a fan of extended warranties (very expensive for this TV, considering an extra year of coverage through Panasonic costs around $400), but I may have to purchase one if any additional problems surface.
Hopefully, the problem with my Panasonic is a rarity. I expected better performance from this expensive purchase. Time will tell.
- I am thrilled with this TV. I have a small apartment and the screen size is just right. Even the non HD picture is fantastic which is important because there are not that many HD broadcasts yet. My only complaint is that the sound is somewhat muffled on HD broadcasts. I plan on purchasing a separate amp, etc. I have purchased a Panasonic HDMI dvd player and dvd's are fantastic. I also have the cable company's HD DVR service. Once I get the sound system it should be perfect.
- Plasma buyers beware. Before you plunk down the BIG bucks for a plasma TV, look for other ways to spend $ around your house or take a vacation instead. Plasma TVs are underwhelming when all is said and done. Wide-screen programming is virtually non-existent, and resolutions are awful when you try to watch converted analog signals or stretched screens, also very dissapointing to view the dead-zone sidebars when you can't fill the screen. I spent 4Gs on this Panasonic and two months later the entire image skewed off the frame, needed a technician to reprogramme the bios (on site), ughhh, after hours of wasted support calls to both Panasonic and to my cable TV provider (both apparently ignorant about the issue). Wide screen TVs look best in the store.
- I have had my set for about 2 weeks now, and I am blown away by it's contrast and resolution.
This is my second set...the first set arrived and when I plugged it in, all I received was a blinking power light---turns out it has something to do with the power supply---according to Panansonic.
I use Radio Shack 'rabbit' ears for my reception and receive all four of the major networks and OPB in HD---Monday Night Football in HD is amazing! With the 'rabbit ears' I also receive all four major networks in SD---but why go back?
DVD's seem to look better on the Plasma than on my last Mitsubishi tube set---even thugh there is only 480 lines of resolution. I haven't tried the HDMI input yet, but others seem to be impressed by it.
I am using component video for my DVD and run the sound through Yamaha Audio/Video controller, Adcom amplifiers, and Polk Audio speakers.
The only bummer is that when the speakers on the Plasma are turned off, you can't adjust the 'volume level' using the Plasma remote---you just get a message saying 'speakers off'---you should be able to turn off the speakers and then have the audio out from your Plasma become a 'line out' so to speak---so you can control the audio levels of your surround system, when watching TV by using the volume on the Plasma remote control---why should I have to 'select' receiver and then adjust the volume?---heck that was available on my first Mitsubishi set 16 years ago.
Anway, minor complaint....all in all a fantastic set, that I would recommend to anyone---and a great bargain too!
- Bought this TV about 3 months ago and love it. Super HD quality. No problems with setup. Image and sound are great, nice and crisp in both regards. Photos from SD camera cards are easily viewable. Overall very happy with the purchase.

- I have this television(FA2B-32072)and I love it! The model I have has two HDMI inputs!I've only had it for a few days but so far I'm very impressed. The set looks and performs just as well as some of the other established brands. It's far less expensive than the so called "brand names". I'm no expert in technology or in HDTV sets but this one is just as good as those that I've seen selling for twice the price! It has a fantastic picture and the sound is very good, even without a home theater. I have it connected to my digital cable box and the picture just blows me away! The colors are very bright and vivid. I can see details that I never saw on my 32" Sanyo CRT. This is my first plunge into the world of HDTV sets. I've been researching and comparing brands since before Christmas. I was a little leary of buying this particular set because I'm not familar with the company. I finally got tired of reseaching/waiting and took the plunge. I figured if it didn't work out I could return the television. I'm glad I took the chance on Digital Lifestyles. The television has surpassed all my expectations so far! It's very sleek looking. I love the gloss finish. It's light weight. That's a nice change from my heavy Sanyo.I can move this set easily from room to room in my home without the strain I experienced when trying to move my old set. Those CRTS weigh a ton. Digital Lifestyles telephone customer support has been wonderfully helpful. Keep in mind when you call with questions/help that the company is in on Pacific time. This may be a relatively new and unknown company but if this television set is any indication they should be around for some time to come. If you're in the market for a new HDTV set I would strongly recommend giving the Digital Lifestyles set a try. If you're set on a well known "brand name" then this television isn't the right one for you. Keep in mind though that every company was a new company at some point in time. They all had to start somewhere. In my opinion Digital Lifestyles is off to a very good start.
*********P.S. Just a follow up to the reviewer who isn't able to pick up HD broadcasts with 'regular' cable. Digital&HD are not the same thing. If one wants to pick up HD broadcasts there are two options. (1). One must have a subscription to cable/satellite HD service. (2).One must have a television that is capable of picking up OTA HD signals. As I said I'm no expert in the field but from those that I've spoken with and all the research I've done the only television sets that can pick up OTA HD signals(the free HD signals) are those with the QAM tuner. This television doesn't have the QAM. It only has the ATSC/NTSC tuner which btw is stated in the product description. People please pay careful attention when shopping and know what it is you need/want from a set before purchasing. The whole HD& Digital thing is confusing. It's baffled me too lol.
- First off, I have to agree with the others here who have stated that there is something a little suspicious about Mr. Anderson's five star review; especially considering that I have seen this same review turn up verbatim on other web sites that talk about the product. Second, while this is a good TV, it is not a perfect TV, which is what a five-star review suggests. I'll start with the things that I have found to be the biggest drawbacks: First, you probably won't find a code for it in your universal remote, which means you will always need to keep the remote handy. Second (and more annoying to me), the aspect ratio remains constant across all inputs. This means that if you are watching HDTV with the wide setting (or however your service sets that up), and you switch to your DVD, the aspect ratio will also be wide. If you switch to zoom here, you will need to switch back to wide when you go back to the TV signal. The TV has several inputs, but only one HDMI (the previous reviewer states that he has two HDMI, but I don't). The aspect ratios for the TV are: Normal, Panoramic, Wide, Zoom and Zoom 2. Zoom 2 is a particularly useful if you watch DVDs with subtitles that appear outside of the letterbox. The picture quality is good, with no glaring defects, edge effects, or hot spots. However, you will probably want to tweak the settings as they are definitely on the "hot" side (a fairly typical problem with new TVs actually). Unlike my previous HDTV, I do not notice any image lag with this set. As with most HDTVs, standard def does not look that great with this set, although at 32" it is not too bad.
I have not needed servicing, so I can't speak to the quality of their service department. Digital Lifestyles TVs are made by Corion for Digital Lifestyles. Digital Lifestyles Group Inc. is a separate company that has a somewhat less than stellar profile on the Internet. Corion is better known for providing LCD displays to others, which probably is a good thing.
On the balance, and in spite of its minor shortcomings, I am happy with this set, and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive entry into the world of HDTV.

- I bought this TV Oct 18th as a refurb from 2nd Act. 2 mos later, haven't watched it yet. It arrived broken (turns on & off continually). 2nd Act totally uninterested. Only Sharp warranty repair in/near Austin is ET Television, which got lowest possible rating on Austin City Search. I couldn't agree more. In shop for 1 month, got it home & still broken. Sharp customer Service has been a nightmare. No response, people on phone keep saying they are sorry, nothing they can do.
- When it (works most of the time) it has a very good picture. However there have been many times that it was frustrating when the set malfunctions to have to unplug the set for ten seconds or more then plug it back in to get it reset. I have some backround in machine design; It seems that the microcontroller can get into an undefined state and there is no watchdog circuit built in to get the set back into operation without user intervention. Sharp's recommended service shop and factory technical support failed to address this problem.
- I have owned this TV fo 6 Months now. It worked perfectly from day one with no problems. It has a superb picture even in SDTV mode. I don't understand all the problems the other reviewers report. Sometimes reading the instruction book really helps.
- TV sound quit working after 13 months. Had problems with set turning on randomly. Sharp will not help since TV set warranty was only 12 months. Local bench charges are minimum of $80.00 just to look at it and boards average a few hundred dollars. Sharp Customer Service services and protects Sharp only.
- Another case of the sound board giving out after 18 months. Any company with a conscience would assume warranty responsibility for an obvious engineering issue.
Not at all impressed.

- The T.V. is actually very good and was a gift. The box was received at work by my warehouse guys, no outside damage therefore they signed for the box. Upon giving the gift to my daughter 2 weeks later we discovered the t.v. to be damaged. It had been dropped or something, but because we signed free and clear I am stuck with a damaged t.v. I suggest any shipment as this even if the box looks good, to take item out and look it over before signing. This was not a cheap gift but I am stuck with it.
- THIS TUBE TV IS ALL IT CLAIMS - EXCELLENT PICTURE QUALITY AND GOOD USER INTERFACE. WOULD BUY IT AGAIN.
- I used to work for Best Buy and got one of these, got it home-hooked it up-low and behold, the geometry problem was there, I know how to work on tvs so I got into the deflection part of the service menu and adjusted it for 2 hours and got about a 5% improvment. It wasn't acceptable so I returned it and got the store brand Insiginia (they have a 27" crt hdtv)-100% improvment. Stay away from Samsung slimfit tvs-they all have the same distortion problems.
- First off i want to say that I am not uspset w/samsungs customer service reps , their just doing their job like the management wants, but their warranty policy sucks. I bought the 30 inch model(txs3082-in home warranty service because of size) ) of this tv at circuit city and 6 months later it developed a growl when turned on. Sounded like a bad flyback transformer although I am no tv tech.I must say the picture quality was good, not perfect but I was ok with it.So I call Samsung customer service May 30, i tell them i live in San Diego County, they say call Davids tv but I live to far so Davids won't help me so I call back Samsung customer service and they say there is no one else in my area
( yea 3 million people in the county and no one else?!?!?). So the customer service rep say they have to do a complete zip code check of the whole area to try and find another shop and it will take 14 working days, call back on Jne 18.So 14 w/days pass and no reply so I call back, this time I'm told my service request has to go up the chain of command to the executive regional service something or other (like being back in the NAVY lol). They say that will take another 3 or 4 days. So i wait for 4 days and CB and now I am upset and I let them know it. So know the customer service manager says how sorry they are and says he'll get ahold of the regional Samsung repair/store rep but they can't/won't give me his/her name because that isn't their policy to provide customers with that info. They say please wait another 3-4 days for a reply about getting the set fixed. Finally on June 25 Poway Rancho Bernardo TV send out some guys to get the set and take it to the shop for repairs. On july 6 Poway TV says Samsung sent them a bad power module and there is another problem with the TV and they are waiting for Samsung to contact them. Now it is July 17 and I still don't have my TV back.
I am not sure how this will turn out, but I will be hesitant about ever buying another Samsung Product. It just is not worth the frustration, waste of time and effort to get them to honor their warranty.
- This TV is an amazing value. Better than LCD quality & all the features you need for the new era.
I have no idea what folks are complaining about! This TV is awesome. My son bought the 30" widescreen version and he loves it.
I'm looking at LCD TV's for another room right now and when comparing prices this TV is still a winner if you care about what the picture looks like vs. whether or not it is an LCD. Quality and price, just awesome.
This is my sixth Samsung TV since 1983. The 1983 Color TV still works.
Samsung is the best value on the market today.

- This tv is exactly what I needed. I purchased it for an exercise room/office. I can use it as a monitor and/or as a tv, so it saves me some space. It is also light, and the cable outlets, etc are all on the sides and the bottom, so wall-mounting would not be a problem.
The picture quality is great head-on, and from the sides as well. Looking up, though, it is terrible - so don't hang it too high on the wall.
The sound quality is fantastic. I hardly have to turn up the tv to hear it when I'm on the noisy treadmill across the room.
The picture in picture feature enables you to work on the computer and watch tv. This is one of the few features, however. It is definitely not a feature-rich item. If you want a lot of features - purchase a dedicated tv or monitor - not a combination like this one.
The manual was not very helpful, but that's alright because everything is pretty straightforward. And, the remote is just a standard remote - not too big or too small.
Overall - I am thrilled with this purchase. It was exactly what I needed!

- I thought the Sharp Aquas was the best LCD untill i found a bad pixel, luckily a store manager felt sorry for me and let me exchange even after the in store exchange policy had expired.I've had this TV for about 6 months now with no problems. Its colors are amazing using upconverting dvd player and an xbox 360,sure your gonna pay a little more but save yourself from alot of grief and get this one.
- Love this TV. It is our first HD and we were limited by space on the size television we could buy. This one had everything we needed and as a Sony devotee, this TV didn't disappoint. The HD channels look great, especially sports. Our digital cable needed a booster to get the HD signal, but haven't had any other problems. Highly recommend this one.
- I did research on all models of lcd tv's for my bookcase which was only 33 inches wide. The sony kdlv32xbr1 is by far the best resolution for my den. A booster was installed by cable company to get hd signals in best quality. Worked great and I am happy that I purchased this sony model.
- As I say it the best Hdtv out there. If you want a 32-inch lcd hd tv for your bedroom or small game and movie room. The 1080i/720p support are excellent! All 32-inch HDTV or less, don't support 1080p, but don't worry about want to watch high-def tv. Because 1080i is almost the same as 1080p, but only 1080p 've a higher FPS(frames per second)and resolution are a little bit higher, but you can't tell what the different between 1080i and 1080p with a naked eye. so what are you waiting for go and buy this TV, because it limited supplies. This TV are better than any 32-inch HDTV out there. $500 price off, no tax, and $70 or more for shipping overall you get what you pay for.
- When it works, it's a good TV. Mine broke three months out of warranty and the repair cost was very expensive.

- I can't say enough about the picture quality of this Zenith.
Better than the 23" Sony when viewing side to side. Nice styling and easy to use. I just love this television.
- I am very happy with this TV. I currently had a very old 1983 Commodore 13" monitor as my video monitor and eventually wanted to replace it with a 40" plasma monitor. I decided to buy this LCD-TV while I saved money to buy the plasma monitor. Great idea! This LCD-TV is the perfect stop gap measure for me. It has the resolution I require (1280 x 768) for my HDTV set top box and DVD viewing needs and the computer input allows me to display my laptop computer which, while I originally had no plan to do so, is a nice feature. If you need a high resolution monitor at a medium size, this LCD-TV is a good buy at this price point.
- The switch panel was not working after I tried it, 38 days after purchase. My mistake that I didn't test when I brought it. Kept using the remote control. Amazon refused to take it back after 30 days, so had to fall back on warranty. The product has now gone back to LG for repairs. LG support was pretty good though - so far.
- I was looking for 17 to 19 inch flat monitors for my pC that had PIP capabilities with Television included. I was disappointed in the choices and quickly saw that to get all the features I wanted I had to look in the $999 to $1400 range. While shopping I found one of the Zeniths that had been recently returned and was on sale as an open item @ Best Buy for $1500.
I jumped on it (and the $200 BB warranty). Came on Amazon and could not believe how good a deal I actually got. Enuff braggin. Setup a breeze. PIP choices are many and awesome. Great on PC, TV so far. Can't wait to run video ins, hook to DVD or X-Box, etc. No complaints. Highly recommend for your next monitor choice. It really looks very cool sitting on my desk too!
- I looked and looked at my local electronics stores comparing every lcd tv they had and when I saw this one it was a WOW moment. The picture on this is amazing to say the least. I have a buddy who is a die hard sony fan. He saw this and couldn't stop talking about it. Cons are video switching is slow... no hdmi.... and audio is bad..... but who cares about audio. If you are going to be spending the money that this costs I would bet that you have a surround sound system already.
