- I bought this TV a month ago. I had a 42" Samsung TV but it was too large to take to my new place when I moved so I left it with my family. The picture on the Toshiba LCD is superior to the larger plasma. However, the TV just stopped working one evening, no power going to it. The authorized Toshiba service centers in the Washington, DC area will not pick it up because the size is too small for them to do an in-home repair (like the warranty says they should). This has been a pain so far.
- My son was looking for his first T.V. to buy. He had reviewed serveral different kinds and with what was offered for the price he paid, the Toshiba Regza was a great find. The picture is wonderful and very clear. The set up was easy and connecting with the dish network was not difficult. If you are looking for a good LCD T.V. that you will not have to spend your last cent on, I would invest in this T.V.
- We love this tv--the price was really reasonable, the tv looks great and performs beautifully and it was easy to set up-- no hassles at all. I can't imagine a better experience with a new TV!
- I purchased this TV for use in my home office, since I tend to watch most movies in that room. When the TV arrived, it did not work out of the box. I had no problems in reaching a person at Toshiba's help line, but I quickly found out that I could not return it for a new TV, which was incredibly frustrating. Instead, I had to register the TV, then take it to a Toshiba authorized service center for repair. Because this happened just before the Christmas season, the length of time for the repair was a little longer than it would've been otherwise. (A seasonal thing, obviously, so I can't fault anyone for that.) The gentleman at the repairshop was able to diagnose the problem right away, but indicated that the part had to be ordered. Basically, the TV would turn on, and I could get audio, but no video. I also was not able to access any of the TV's menus, obviously, because of the video problem.
It's a great TV, and has worked absolutely wonderfully since the day I got it back from the repair shop. I still recommend the TV, despite the problem I had with it, but I would suggest not purchasing high ticket items like this online. You might pay a little more getting a TV from a big box store, but you at least know that if it doesn't work out of the box, you can return it and get a new one in exchange on the same day and not suffer the hassles I had to.
Otherwise, I very much recommend this TV if you have need for one in a small room.
- The picture at 720p is excellent. Hands down.
The sound could be a lil better- but it can fill a small room quite nicely (I'ts in my bedroom)
Looks great hooked up to Any video gaming system.
Only con is I wish it was a little flatter and I'd like some "master" buttons on the unit just in case you lose that remote.

- Got the Phillips 37PF7320A in 2006. Never that impressed with the picture to begin with.
Than one day, just wouldn't turn on. No picture, no sound, no nothing.
The power light indicator comes one, followed by a pattern or red flashing lights (1-4)that repeats itself. Of course, the manufacture's warranty was expired. So paid the $100 to have a repair technician come look at it, and was told that the SA board needed to be replaced...a $900 part. So dissapointed, and will not be buying a Phillips TV ever again.
- I have had this tv for 2 weeks and am totally satisfied with it. It was simple to set up, had it up and going in less than 15 minutes. Loved the fact that the first time I turned it on, a tutorial came on instantly to set it up. How simple! I purchased mine refurbished at an incredible price, and it came to me like brand new.... not a scratch on it!
The blacks on it are exceptional. I use an over the air Philips HD antenna with it and I am amazed with the quality. It looks like every bit of high quality that you see on display sets at high end electronic stores that use 1080p digital feeds to impress.
- This TV is the dogs bollocks! In the few weeks that I've had this TV I've tested a lot of its features. I've used the HDMI, USB, component, S-video, composite and antenna inputs, all of which produced good images for their respective formats.
I like the design because the high gloss black around the screen looks really cool. It's pretty thin and weighs about 60lbs. The fact that the screen swivels on a stationary base is helpful when you're plugging things into the back. The USB, composite and S-video inputs are all on the side so you don't need to move the screen for things that may be only connected temporarily.
The coolest thing about this TV is the USB port. I plugged in a flash drive with some digital camera images and was very impressed by how well they appeared on screen. This TV took my 6-megapixel digital camera images and made them look like I was watching HDTV. After using the USB port for pictures and MP3s, I wondered why it didn't also read video files.
The TV has an automatic mode that changes the aspect ratio according to what's on screen. This function can be useful when widescreen HD programs switch to full screen commercials. But this can be annoying when a program has a very dark shot with no light on the extreme sides of the screen. But this automatic function can be turned off, so it's no big deal. This also TV has 1:33, widescreen, zoom and superzoom aspect ratios.
It also produces pretty good sound. The HDMI inputs sound noticeably better than the (right/left) stereo inputs. I haven't used the digital coaxial output and I don't think many stereos today have a digital coaxial input.
This TV displays high def signals as well as any TV I've seen and I'd definitely recommend buying one of these.
- I purchased our Philips 37" HDTV as a demonstrator model off a Target shelf where it had been operating non-stop for 12 hours a day, every day for two years. Looking at the wall of HD TV models on display including Sony, Olevia, Magnavox, and others the Philips picture stood out as clearer, sharper, and more vivid. We've had it for two months now and it continues to provide stunning pictures and decent sound. An HDMI cable improved the picture only very slightly over standard 3-cable sets (possibly due to mediocre quality of cable provided signal). Best surprises - easy swivel stand, USB port, side mount inputs. Biggest disappointment - learning curve to disable automatic picture adjustments which disrupt viewing experience. This is our second HD TV - vastly superior to our previous Samsung, and I'd buy it again over a comparable Sony Bravia.
- Purchased Philips 37PFL - very satisfied with both the quality of picture
and sound. Great product

- OK. I've essentially written the same review on Amazon and a few other vendors selling this product. I "still" believe that it's a discontinued product because Toshiba is pushing it's 120 mghz product and has entered into a relationship with Sharp for future sets. This may well be a "good marriage". But from my perspective, I've had this set nearly two months now and have read the reviews and specs on it for several months previous to purchase. The price now (well under $ 2,000) is an EXCELLENT buy..."for now". The set is thin where it counts and HUGE where it counts! People literally stop talking when an HDTV channel is on when viewing this set. It's that good! No banding. No ghosting. No "blurring" with fast action (tennis, golf, hockey, you name it). Regular DVD replay is excellent and you have options to improve the picture quality of those DVDs, if you love movies! Standard TV is good and more than watchable. Just go to Best Buy or any other retail outlet and see any of the "Regza" Toshiba sets (which may soon be discontinued). They truly outshine all the competition ... Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Phillips, et.al. Then you can SEE for yourself. But if it were me, I'd buy this same set all over again. You're going to pay a lot more and get a lot less otherwise, if you pass up this Toshiba line.

I recently purchased the REGZA 52RV530U LCD HDTV. I am very happy with the performance and picture. The screen size is manually adjustable which I really like. My Sharp Aquos adjusts automatically to the input it recieves. Overall the picture quality is excellent and I believe matches the higher price sets. Fast motion is in no way blurry and I can't see any blurring at all.
Beautiful set I would highly recommend.

- Bought this LCS for a bedroom and are very pleased with it. LCD is very sharp and holds the HDTV signal very well. One point I should make is that with a standard Cable R6 cable, the sound output is poor. At the highest level, the TV was hard to hear with ANY kind of background noise. I purchased an HDMI cable to use from my cable box and it made ALL the difference in the world. We now only have to go to around 10 (on a scale to 100) to get great sound. Not sure why the HDMI to Cable input makes that much difference as it honestly shouldn't be that varied. Anyway..my wife is happy with the purchase..which..of course makes for a happy home.
Happy Holidays.
- One pixel went out after 3 hours. I called customer service and they told me that 3 have to be out before they will consider it a warranty return. It's in the middle of the screen and very annoying.
- Learned a lesson. Could not find what I wanted locally for bedroom. Worst TV I have ever bought. Color, contrast, do not even know how to start. Never buy a TV with out viewing picture.
- Now, I'm not quite sure if this TV is the same one as mine, but they look the same and the size (23") is my size.
Anyway, the aspect ratio of my TV is 16:10, not 16:9 like all HD broadcasts are. This means that to not have the picture stretched vertically I have to set it to have two black bars at the top and bottom. Why a company would make anything other than a 16:9 aspect for an HDTV I will never know. Also, in low light scenes you can clearly see the places where the backlights are; they make streaks of bright across the screen. The TV also has some weird feature which turns the backlight up and down depending on what's being displayed, which can be VERY annoying.
So I'm not sure if this is the exact same TV, but just be weary if you buy this one (or any LG TV).
- i got this tv at best buy, your way better off buying it there because it cost me 398. but if u buy it here you will have to pay shipping you get the idea so ya better off buying it at best buy and over all this lcd is great bright screen had to bring it down a bit the best looking picture of all the same size lcd at best buy

- I haven't owned another HDTV, so I have little for comparison, but this thing looks great. Great viewing angle, great inputs/outputs. The menu is a little non-intuitive, the channel info box is big and blocks much of the screen until it eventually disappears, and channel changing in general is quite slow, but I think that's common for digital TV.
--added a month later-- The HDTV "Blur" seems a excessive with this. Things are very clear unless there is a lot of movement. Dance and Sports are impossible to watch.
- Thus far, this has proven to be an excellent TV with full features, great picture, and was easy to hook up
- Have owned this set for several weeks now, and absolutely LOVE IT! Spectacular color and picture quality, and great ergonomics with it's thin bezel, slim profile and swivel base. This TV has a great feature set, build quality and connectivity vs. Sony and Samsung, and no shiny black plastic!
I researched this purchase for many weeks, and found the Mitsubishi to be comparable to the best rated sets out there. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase. Set was purchased and fulfilled from Amazon, and delivered on time without a hitch.
- After months of researching which brand to buy, I decided to stick with Mitsubishi. I had owned one of their TV for close to 20 years before it broke down. The repairman said they don't sell parts for this TV anymore, which forced me to look into purchasing a new TV.
I looked at many brands of TV including Sony to decide which one was the clearest. Sony to me had the best picture but I was afraid to buy their brand because I had a history of TV repairs with their TVs.
Then when I saw the high rating on the Mitsubishi LT46133 in Consumer Report, I decided to purchase this TV.
The color is brilliant and the picture looks awesome. I brought an upconversion DVD player and there's truly a difference in clarity between an upconversion DVD player and a regular DVD player. I'm just waiting for the Blu-Ray player to go down in price.
The 3 HDMI inputs and 2 of each composite, component and S-video inputs really makes it convenient for all your video equipments.
My only complaint is when I turn the TV on I have wait at least one minute for the picture to come on. But if I saved at least 500.00-1000.00 compare to the other brands of LCD TV, its a small price to pay.
If you purchase this TV, I suggest you lower the contrast, brightness and back light settings. Otherwise the color white would be too bright.
Amazon was great with delivering this. I ordered this Monday night and the TV was at my apartment Thursday morning.

5 comments about Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-32S2010 32-Inch LCD HDTV.
- Amazon shipping was prompt and the TV arrived in good shape. Everything working as expected.
This TV is very easy to set up and very little you can do to mess things up. Sometimes I feel it is too simple. I would have liked a little more ability to control some aspects like analog picture tuning.
Switching TV/Video feature can be better than this -- at present one has to cycle through all the inputs to get to the desired one.
I had some issue hooking up my Notebook to this TV through the S-video cable. But after some tries and a little googling I understood the difference between S-video connection and VGA connection. For S-video connection, I had to use the extended desktop feature of the Windows XP Operating system (actually, I had to move the window playing the video off to desktop beyond the right!).
Overall, we all liked the TV for its picture clarity/brightness/sharpness (especially watching HD broadcasting). There is a big delay in powering up the TV but that is not a big problem.
- I debated over buying another model, but this one is really worth the extra cost. The delivery service was poor. They had the wrong number and only after a couple of phone calls on my part did they set up a delivery date
- This Sony TV lives up to all of the industry and Amazon reviews. It is very attractive with any decor, easy to set up and can truly be viewed from almost any angle with excellent picture quality. I would say it is ideal for a viewing distance of up to about 12-15 feet. If you are going to view it at more than this distance, I would get a larger one.
I didn't have any problems with ordering, shipping, etc. The only negative I have to say is that the remote is not very rugged, which is surprising given the high ticket price. Couldn't they put a few extra dollars and give people a nice remote.
You definitely will not be disappointed with this TV for sporting events, correct rendering of flesh tones and adjusting to brightness within a room. Compared to other HDTVs without all of these useful (sometimes essential) features, it's not an apples to apples comparison. If you get one of the less expensive types, the color changes when viewed from an angle, the brightness isn't quite right, etc. Spend the extra money and get something decent, a TV is generally something you will use for a long time.
- I'm exceedingly pleased with my Bravia. The picture quality is outstanding. The audio leaves a bit to be desired, and the remote is not what one would call user friendly. However, despite those issues, the product is excellent...it is what one can expect if the product is named SONY.
- The Television has a wonderful picture and is very attractive. Visitors to my home ALWAYS comment on how clear the picture is.
