1. Although this was a great price and great picture, my kids could barely hear the sound at full volume over regular car noise. I'm returning it for a model that accomodates 3 pairs of headphones.

1. for the money i paid for this it was a waste. it was trashed in a day. the screen is way too small and the controls were difficult for even me to figure out.



2. i originally bought this for my daughter on her 4th bday in august. i was a little worried she wouldn't be able to work it, but just after a day or so she got it. i do wish the screen was bigger for what we paid. i just had to purchase another one becuase her 1 year old brother threw hers across the room and broke it. i guess now we'll have 2 sets of headphones :). the other would have lasted alot longer if my 1 year old hadn't broke it :(. luckily i found 1 really cheap...YEAAAA!!!!! there are other dvd players for the same price with a bigger screen, but they don't have Dora on it.

1. I bought a similar LG dvd recorder/ VCR combo, and it did not even last a year on me. It won't recognize and DVD's I put into it. Look into buying another brand.



2. Please note that the only reason my review is awarding one star is because Amazon's rating system does not enable a zero star rating. I am posting this review as a public service notation to anyone considering purchasing an LG brand DVD player. THEY ARE WORTHLESS JUNK. I purchased a similar LG DVD upconverter/VHS player/Digital tuner model for several hundred dollars. The unit stopped recognizing discs of any type weeks after the generous 90-day factory warranty expired. The unit was very delicately handled, never abused. Calls to the LG customer service center proved fruitless, they expect you to box/ship the unit and pay for the labor to repair the unit. DO YOUR HOMEWORK - this issue with LG brand DVD players is very prevalent, I know of 3 other individuals personally who have experienced the same problem. When you think of it, what quality electronics manufacturer only warrantees their product for 90 days? Contrary to their best attempts to portray a high quality image, LG is nothing more than another off-shore low-cost, low quality electronic manufacturer attempting to portray themselves as something else. BUYER BEWARE.
