5 comments about Tritton Q33801 True 5.1 Digital Audio Headset with AX360 Audio Xtreme 360.
- love this, I would say the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is all the cables, if it was wireless and had the same sound it would be perfect.
- Purchased this as a compact, wallet-friendly solution to my problem: I have an X360 console and an LCD monitor but no speakers. I wanted directionality and immersion in that order. This is a reasonably priced option in that you do get the directionality, but not quite 5.1 sound. Front left/right sounds like center. Rear left/right sound proper and center is center. I do like the active rumble that emulates bass. As you go lower and lower in frequency sound is more felt than heard and its that sensation that bassheads are after, so this is a natural and innovative solution. For the purposes of gaming, I like it.
The connectors can be a little on the loose side. I do wish the connectors were a little tighter. The item isn't hefty and the DAC/AMP unit (the smaller box in the photo) is surprisingly lightweight. Not surprising though, seeing as how its just a single PCB in a plastic enclosure.
4 stars. I do not regret my purchase.
- My Gf bought me this headset a week ago and i got it delivered on my birthday which was yesterday, its a Beauty....it might be a couple of wires but come on people...at the end of the day it does what u expect am i right??? in my opinion my gf did a perfect decision, and the money didnt go to a waste ;)
- As many reviews have mentioned, setting up the microphone for the Xbox 360 was the tricky part. I had to turn my in-game sounds all the way down to the last notch and then I was able to adjust the four volume controls on the headset up.
Also, as the instructions mention, you have to go into your personal settings and make sure to set the communications to come out of your speakers or you wont hear anyone.
As to the headset volume settings, I think I generally have the front and rear volumes around 2-3, the base around 4-5 and the center to 6-7 (as the center is what controls how loud other player's communications are).
I have a plasma tv so anything that used IR technology (like Turtle Beach) was a no-go as there was too much interference from what IR that the tv generates. I also have a newborn plus my wife goes to bed earlier than me and I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.
- Let me start by saying that I never write reviews, but I just feel that I have to tell you about this product. I received the product, opened it immediately and hooked it up to my ps3. I popped Metal Gear Solid 4, started playing and noticed instantly that there was no bass whatsoever. I read the manual and it says to adjust the Vib, so I go ahead and do it. The headphones start vibrating to mimic a subwoofer and while it improves the bass a little it still had almost NO bass. And please, don't believe the people that say "people that are giving bad reviews didn't read the manual". I read the manual, searched the internet and even called Tritton. This is ridiculous, the headphones are 98 dollars, but anyone here that has purchased a sony in-ear headphones for 30 bucks knows how ridiculous these sound. You will be better off buying the SU-DH1 from JVC and plugging your stereo headphones to it! Skip this product and your ears should thank you.

5 comments about 6 Disc DVD Case, 5 Pack.
- While keeping six discs in the space it took to store one was my original intent. It was not my intention to buy something that shatters to small pieces at the slightest impact. Slight impact will break the disc holding clips as well as the center page mounting system. I've also had quite a few break when simply trying to open the cases. Use of a more resilient plastic would make these cases perfect but as they are, they pose a potential hazard to your discs.
- I have purchased 50 of these cases, but I was disappointed to discover that they are made of very bad plastic. Most of the inside flaps were broken and dirty. The notion of this product is great but the material is terrible. I wish they will reconsider manufacturing them with better plastic and not to worry about the cost because people will pay more for the good stuff.
- These things are great for the price.
Made in China....and made cheaply but they work well enough to serve their purpose.
not quite the same quality as retail packaging but for a heavy downloader these things are perfect for keeping season series discs together.
- I saw these in Europe retailing for $5 apiece, and thought, "Nice but way too pricy". Then I saw these, what looked to be the same, for considerably less; now I know why.
These are obviously third rate knockoffs of the originals, and the quality is simply atrocious. The spine on 3 of the 5 pack arrived so severely shattered and cracked that they went straight to the trash (Chasing a $5 refund is waste of time, energy, and more money in my opinion). Additionally, all of the middle twin retainer posts inside each spine were also broken on every single one, thus rendering the middle partition unusable (nothing for it to hold on to). Luckily I was able to cannibalize the middle divider for use with other older cases that had similar retainer posts.
The design idea is a sound one, and again I have seen these manufactured correctly. However, like all "knock Offs" these are a poor, poor substitute for the genuine article. Buy at your own risk.
- When I recieved this item a few of the cases had some small plastic parts on them broken.....I did not send any of them back as they were so inexpensive it was hardly worth it and they still worked so I just left it. I do not however like the way the disk overlap in the case, if I had it to do over again I would go with a different style case so the disk don't rub against each other when inserted.

5 comments about PLAYSTATION 2&3 PS2 PS3 AV COMPONENT VIDEO CABLE HDTV.
- This cable comes at an affordable price, and serves-up 480p on the PlayStation 2 just as well as anything else out there! I am very happy with this purchase; I will continue to do business with this vendor.
- I purchased this cable, it was cheap, and I noticed a dramatic difference in my overall video color and quality. Also, the sound quality was a little better channeled. I would say that everyone that has a ps2 or ps3 would easily benefit from this cable.
- Having jsut had an HDTV for less than a week now, I can't really tell you hard facts about the resolution you get with this cable.
I can tell you that we hooked up our old PS2 with the standard RCA cables and the picture looked awful. I hooked up the PS2 with this cable and the picture improved greatly to my eye!!!I did not change any settings on the PS2. Who knows, if there is a setting to change the picture might improve even more.
I am very pleased with this cable.
- I was initially concerned that this cable was so cheap, but all my doubts were instantly washed away once I used it! The picture is great, and the audio is as well. This cable is actually better in quality than the stock RCA cable that I received with my PS2; it has gold-plated connectors and the cable itself just feels sturdier. I would highly suggest buying this product.
- When I got my PS3 I was a little irritated. I mean What the #^#&? I get a blue player/video game console and I can't watch the full graphic capability? Seriously, no point buy a system like that if you can't play it in HD. I got this cable, and even though it says it's for PS2, it works great on my PS3. Save the money, and buy this. I'm picky about picture quality and sound quality, you lose nothing, and it's about a fourth the price.

5 comments about Case Logic CDE24 24 Cd Heavy Duty Wallet.
- its a lot more organized having all your CDs in 1 place instead of many cases
- This case is excellent. It is exactly what it says it is. It is very lightweight, nice for traveling. It is a hard case, and is more rigid and stronger than regular cases.
The zipper works well on the case, easy to open and close. Perfect for a small group of CDs or DVDs. I'm buying a few more.
- I purchased this because of the price, but it is much too small - switching to paper sleeves from now on.
- I have several CD cases, and this is my favorite; I'm here at Amazon to buy my second one. The CD slots are easy to see through (unlike some I've seen) and they don't flop around after a week, like so many others. The case itself is dead solid, but small enough to stick in a large purse or attache. I'm amazed how inexpensive these are! An excellent buy.
- I just received the Case Logic 24 CD Heavy Duty Wallet CDE24. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product and I am returning it to Amazon, The CD sleeves are much too loose and the wallet itself is not "heavy duty" in my opinion. I am a classical music listener and some of my imported CD's are very expensive - heck, what CD is not expensive? Does anyone know of a better product?

5 comments about Peerless PT660 Tilting Wall Mount for 32" to 60" Flat Panel Displa (Gloss Black).
- The Peerless PT660 tilting wall mount worked out well. It's heavy-duty, so it will support up to 100 lbs and it comes with a large variety of fasteners so that you can attach it to about any wall surface. In my case, it was for a Samsung 50" plasma set that went above a fireplace. The mounting bracket was installed to the sheetrock - or more specifically to the 2 studs behind the sheetrock (usually spaced 16" apart) - with 4 large lag screws and washers. The mounting bracket itself is on the order of 32", so you can only attach it to 2 studs at best. Once you figure where the mounting bracket goes and level it - then attach it to the wall. The 2nd part that attaches to the TV required no spacers - just 4 bolts - for a simple attachment. The hardest part is lifting your TV up and onto the wall mount. Have at least 2 people available for this. I used 3 people: 2 to lift the TV and 1 to hold the attached cables out of the way and into their proper position on the fireplace mantle. I recommend this product.
- I was definitely skeptical at first, given the low price compared to the $400-$500 mounts you can buy at the big retail stores.
I hung it above my fireplace in my new home that was studded for a plasma TV. Easy as pie with a small socket wrench (don't try to screw them in by hand). And definitely get someone to help you hang it if it's a big TV like mine. I have a 52" Sharp Aquos Flat Panel, model number 52D82U.
It's been on the wall for about a month now. I check the screws on the back every few days to make sure the TV is secure. So far, so good. Has shown no signs of slipping or anything else that would make me have a heart attack.
- I bought this mount for a Samsung PN50A550. My studs are a little more than 20" apart. Installation was pretty easy. The difficult part was tightening the screws on the bottom. My tv is mounted above a fireplace with a small 8 in shelf so I cannot look directly up underneath the tv to get to the screws. The tv is so close to the wall that trying from the sides was a bit difficult. Suggestion, turn the screws before mounting so that they are threaded.
If you cannot easily lift over 100lbs, get someone to help. It was a bit challenging to lift but my wife helped guide me. The shelf of the fireplace was also good to rest it on while lifting.
- looks good, low-profile (good if that is what you want, but harder to fit wires and surge protector behind it--not the bracket's fault, though), works fine.
however, you need to pull tv from wall to adjust angle, so it takes a little longer to do that than with a more expensive bracket which you can adjust without removing the tv.
i mounted 40-inch samsung ln40a550 tv very easily.
- Installation took FAR longer than is reasonable and tilt function is terrible. Really don't plan to move it once installed, so we kept it, but if I really cared about being able to change the tilt, I would have sent it right back.

5 comments about Built NY 13-Inch to 15-Inch Laptop Sleeve, Striped.
- I bought my sleeve in order to turn my favorite "messenger bag" into an optional computer carrier (for bike commuting). It works great for that, as would wadded-up newspaper, a towel, or a large serving of popcorn, as padding is the key. This provides that. What I discovered is that a padded sleeve this one provides the best way to transport your machine when a full blown laptop bag is too much. Relying on a fully charged battery, I have used my excellent Built NY sleeve to take my laptop along on flights, and I do so with confidence in the security of the machine (and going through security is a BREEZE without having to dig the computer out of a bag). One warning: make sure the computer is completely off and not just snoozing, because this is essentially an artic sleeping bag and you'll probably overheat the computer quickly if it is stored with the power on.
Built NY makes these in a range of sizes - find the right one for you and enjoy.
- Purchased one for my 14.1" Latitude D610 and another for my 14.1" ThinkPad T60. Fits the Latitude great. The fit for the ThinkPad is pretty tight, but that's with the battery pack, and I expect the sleeve will stretch over time. Had hoped there'd be a little extra room for a mouse, maybe even the AC Plug, but there's not.
- I would hands down recommend this item. I bought it for my Macbook with a 13.1 inch screen. Although I was hesitant about it fitting, it fits wonderfully. There is enough room to stick in the charger, the computer and some pens and stuff. Despite the fact that it smells a bit funny (it's the same material that wet suits are made from) it's a great quality. I go to college in New Orleans, so my backpack gets wet. A lot. And I'm never worried about my computer when it's in the laptop sleeve. It's thin enough to slip in a backpack, but strong enough that I can use the sleeve as the only protection. Not sure about how it fits other computers, but for a Macbook, I don't think I could ask for anything else. And as an added plus, the design rocks.
- It's great -- and perfect for a college student who wants to protect a laptop without a big, corporate laptop case!
- It was so nice to find a laptop sleeve that wasn't just black. I got the red multi color striped one. My 15" fits in it perfectly and it adds a little color to my room.

5 comments about Logic3 iPod to 3.5mm Audio Cable.
- Who would have thought such a simple invention would work so good. I bought a new Nissan with an aux jack for plugging an ipod in, this makes dealing with the extra wires so simple. Bought on a recomendation from my brother who also bought a Nissan.
- I like this product because, unlike others that simply connect through the headphone jack, this sends digital quality sound to the car speaker. The sound quality is excellent and the fact that it is retractable is an added bonus. The only downside is that it doesn't charge while plugged in, but with iPod batteries lasting so long these days, that should not be a huge issue. Overall, great value.
- Just what I needed to fit my aux.port on harley bagger.Great price and received early.
- I'm assuming it works alright, but I must admit I am disappointed with my purchase experience. My cable came dirty and appears used. It had been repackaged in a small manila enveleope, and the cord had dark grime on it that I had to wipe clean. It is advertised as coming in a retail package. The packaging alone would not bother me, if it were not for the product being dirty and used. If I had wanted something that looked like it came from a disreputable eBay merchant, I would purchased the cable there and not from Amazon. Poor marks for Logic 3. They need to class it up a bit. If I had to re-order, I would buy the well reviewed cheaper cable from Cables2go. I have had good experiences with them in the past.
- This cable looks deceiving but it really provides a great sound from the Ipod to the car stereo. I previously had the FM transmitter to play my Ipod through and it sounded terrible. This cable provides clear crisp sound from the Ipod to the stereo. Go get one, you can't beat the price!!

5 comments about MONSTER XPHPCIBIG100 100 Feet Speaker Cable.
- The Monster XPHP-CI cable makes a big difference at any volume, but it really shines when you are pushing allot of sound at once, especially bass. This is my second roll from Amazon and it will be used for my 7.1 sorrounds (POLK Rti-6). The cable itself is pretty heafty and I would suggest you have a nice pair of wire splicers on hand for a clean cut. Also, the price through Amazon was the best next to Ebay.
- If you check out many of the audio/video website forums, and home theater forums, you find that members rail against Monster products for being overpriced. That may be, because to deliver audio to your speakers, there really is no difference, electrically, between $1/ft Monster cables and $0.20/ft generic speaker wire of similar gauge (or lamp chord for that matter). However, there are definite benefits to this product that justifies the price to me.
The beauty of this XPHP-CI cable is that is has a high strand count, which means it is very flexible. Fishing it around walls is easier than if the cable was stiff, as you would get with thicker but less strands of other cables. This is also useful for in-room speaker connection cable - say from your amp to the wall plate or the wall plate to your speaker, as the flexible cable will lay where you put it and you are not fighting it or bending it or worried the working you are doing will weaken the joint at the banana plugs you've put on the ends.
The other benefits, well, the clear covers means its attractive and blends better than brown, white, black, grey, you name it. The CL3 rated jacket means its firecode compliant to run inside of walls. And the beefy nature of the cable means you have some meat to attach those banana plugs to.
Sure, a 16ga spool of any wire will do electrically, even for high power setups so long as you don't run 200feet, but it wont look and feel the same and not inspire the same confidence that the connectors you put on it will stay put for the long haul. But you do pay for Monster products.
I don't buy all of the marketing about it making your music sound better. Its an electrical conductor made of copper like every other cable. I do know that the look and feel and workability are worth the premium price to me.
- Don't buy cheap speaker wire to hook up your expensive speakers.
With speaker wire, you get what you pay for. The Monster speaker wire delivers great sound and is very thick and sturdy. Very well constructed and works great when strung through the walls.
Warning, if you are stringing it all through walls and crawl spaces, buy more than you estimate, else you may have to buy what you are short at a local store for a higher price.
- It works great. I gave it 4 stars only because it is a pain to strip off the outer cover to get to the 2 wires. Great wire though!
- i may not kno the technical aspects of this wire, but it does work. one of the options this cable offers, is its in/outdoor compatability. before buying this, i had did a lot of research. the 1st aspect is that it is a 'monster' cable. secondly, the price on amazon for this product is unbeatable EVERY WHERE ELSE. dont settle for cheaper cables, monster had a warranty on their cable and i dont think im ever gonna be replacing these bad boys any time soon.

5 comments about Cables To Go - 03182 - 3.5mm Stereo Female to RCA Male Y-Cable.
- The cable works. There's no loss in audio quality as far as I can tell, even using high end headphones. The End.
- I live in an apt. and like to watch tv in the middle of the night without disturbing my sleeping neighbors. It would not work with my last tv, as it HAD NO AUDIO OUTPUTS (thus the old 3-star rating), so I used it with the DVD only. Since replacing the old tv with the newly released Vizio 32 inch plasma, I am able to watch full cable and DVD via headphones. I highly recommend using inline sound adjustable headphones, as the sound is NOT adjustable via your tv or DVD remotes. Great product for tv's without standard headphone inputs.
- Does what i need it to do! had to hook up some PC speakers to my DVR receiver so I can get some stereo sound since my tv is only mono. Worked like a charm.
- This works really well. If you can think of it, it's probably invented. I needed this for my class because the speakers installed in my class is in the sub-wussy class. I can connect to my speakers and this rocks.
- This product works great. I got it so my wife can watch T.V. while I sleep. It works great and sounds good.
