5 comments about Travel/ Wall Charger w/ IC Chip for Apple iPod 3G / 4G / Video / iPod Mini / iPod Nano , White 1st Gen (NOT for iPhone 3G/Touch2/Nano4).
  1. This works just as well as the overpriced Apple iPod charger. Definitely worth the $5 I spent on it and shipping!

  2. Regarding this iPod wall charger...
--- I wondered why the same product kept coming up with different prices. Maybe because they want to hide poor reviews and keep starting fresh? The first time I plugged it into my iPod, for a few minutes the backlight of the iPod turned on, but not the text. Then the light went off and I was not able to get the iPod to respond again for two hours. It was dead. I made sure the lock switch was off, I tried to reset, I plugged it in using the Apple brand charger that has been working fine...but nothing worked. It was gone.
--- Perhaps it was a coincidence that, despite the iPod working fine for two years (including a couple of hours on a flight just yesterday), the first time I plugged it in to charge with this product, it died. However, it also seems possible that this product provided the wrong electrical supply to the iPod and fried it, at least temporarily. I don't feel like trying it on other iPods to test this theory, though.
--- I thought I was getting a good deal by buying this for 1 cent and paying $4.99 shipping and handling. Now I realize the ploy - there is no reason to return it for a $0.01 refund, and shipping is not refunded.
--- I urge people to avoid this product.

  3. I got this charger today, and plugged my ipod (which was working just fine) into this. the screen went black and now it doesn't work at all

  4. The description said it worked on the mini/nano ipods...the one I received didn't charge mine at all!! This is a deceptive and bad product. To say I was completely unsatified is an understatement.

  5. Cord is very short but good value.
The plug won't retract but what do you exact for $7.

5 comments about Stereo Bluetooth Headphones.
  1. Excellent product for the price. A little diffficult to set up under Vista but excellent overall.

  2. Motorola has another winner. I tried the other bluetooth head phones they have out...the little red earbud ones....and they are so uncomfortable, that after about 2 minutes of wearing them my ears hurt so bad they gave me a headache.

These headphones are like a dream. True they are a bit heavy, but not so bad as to cause discomfort. At least not to me. They fit very well, allow me to lay down and watch a movie in my cot without disturbing others around me, and allow me to get up and walk to the fridge to get a bottle of water without having pause, stop, or take off the headphones.

You want wireless versatility with more comfort? This will do it. They work great with my phone as well. Music is clear, voices are clear....lets face it though, if you want headphones that put you at the concert, you're not going to get it here. These just aren't made for that...and we all should know that by now. There are specific products out there that do specific things. These are for general everyday use at HOME, for listening to music and talking on the phone so as not to disturb anyone else there. Sure the quality of sound will be less than the $300 types out there. Its supposed to be. They're made for general use. A good set of headphones for general use with every bluetooth product I own.

  3. This is my second pair after a couple years of much use. The price has come way Way WAY down since they were first introduced. I think the battery finally gave out on my first pair, kinda like laptop batteries I sappose ......... good tech - great product !!!

  4. This headphone does everything it was suppose to and does it all well. The frame above the ears seems a little too sharp and cuts into the ear a bit. If I get too tired of it, I think I can just sand down the edge a bit and make it feel fine. I thought the sound was very good.

I paired it with my LG VX8350 and everything worked great. People I talked with said I sounded a little distant but otherwise clear and understandable.

The LG VX8350, on the other hand, posed some problems. I was using this setup to listen to mp3 books. I could never get the phone to play in the right order. Even when I created a play list on the phone it messed it up and multiplied the entries in the play list. One time it turned 10 entries into 111 entries by duplicating irregularly. If you receive a call everything works great and the book continues where you left off. However, if you have to make a call the only choice is to exit the music player without any bookmarking capability. So you have to find your place again when you go back to the book. I suspect I'll go back to my old Panasonic mp3 CD player which has not failed in many, many years. Unfortunately, it is not Bluetooth, so I probably will not get much use out of my new headphones until some other use comes up.

  5. i will begin by saying this product is very easy to use. just make sure you read users guide first on how to connect bluetooth. after that it will be the best buy you'll find. the volume is great but i wish it was louder. i love that im able to control my phone/ipod with just the handset. it's really hassle free. the one thing that bad about this product is that after a week and a half the plastic foam ear muffs started to tear. it looks like i'll need to look and see if they just sell that ear muff foam part. oh and careful cuz they can be take off. i almost lost one of them. i would recommend this product for those looking for a bluetooth headphone/headset.

  1. I liked this battery and bought it with Sony BCG-34HRMF4 Super Quick Charger with LCD Indicator and 4 AA Batteries Sony BCG-34HRMF4 Super Quick Charger with LCD Indicator and 4 AA Batteries.

I used for my mps player and its cool still not drain off after using it for 10 days or more.

    I have used it ocassionally.
I have given it 4 star because i feel maxell batterys are good.

  2. I bought this just as a filler to get the Free Shipping and they turned out great!

  3. Maxell makes a great battery; and these batteries will show you just how good they are made once you try them. I always get several hours more use out of these "Gold" Maxell AAA batteries; and that's grand!

Of course, these "Gold" AAA batteries can be used in anything that requires them--portable radios, CD players and more.

In addition, use these batteries before their expiration date. The expiration date will always be roughly five years into the future; but some people still have them lying around in a dresser drawer anyway. The problem is not only do they lose their potency; the batteries also begin to corrode. When the batteries corrode eventually a whitish powdery sticky substance begins to leak out of them and this makes a mess--trust me!

Do NOT dispose of these or ever place these in or near a fire. They could indeed explode. I wouldn't carry them loose either--they should be protected in their cardboard case or they should be already installed in your flashlight or whatever device you placed them into.

Overall, these Maxell "Gold" AAA size batteries are simply excellent if you need AAA size batteries. I highly recommend them for any device that needs AAA size batteries.

Use them in good health and enjoy!

  4. These Maxell AAA's are the longest lasting that I have ever owned. I use them in an am-fm radio and they almost never die.

5 comments about Apple Dock Connector to USB Cable for iPod (White).
  1. I wanted another cable so that I could connect my iPhone at work and not have to keep tracking my original cable back and fourth. This cable works fine and looks identical to the one that came from Apple.

  2. Got An Ipod off of Ebay that had no calbes with it.

Ordered this one here, and it works great!

  3. USB 2
Works with Apple USB Power Adapter wall outlet
1st gen to 6th gen Ipods
    Mac or Windows

    Pros:
    - Original Apple quality product
    - Perfect fit and match

    Cons:
    - It is still way overpriced. Price should not be over 10$ for a cable like this.

  4. Just a heads up: I ordered this from "dream bargains" and I didn't receive the official "Apple" ipod cable, like the description says. It was a bootleg cable not made by Apple. It seems to work fine, but it you're looking for the "official" Apple cable this isn't it.

  5. When using this cable to connect my iPod to my PC, the PC sometimes recognizes that a USB device has been connected but always fails to recognize that it is an iPod. iTunes does not recognize that an iPod is connected to the computer. This iPod has been used regularly with the PC before using the original cable. Going back to the original cable resolves the problems.

5 comments about 70INX70IN Versatol Tri-pod Screen Matte White Keystone Elim..
  1. This screen is exactly what you would expect for the price. Not heavy duty, but gets the job done and looks good. If you need an affordable, large screen for occasional use, you can't go wrong with this one. NOTE: If you plan to transport it, you'll need a large vehicle. It's pretty long when folded.

  2. I've used the screen several times to watch movies at home. The screen is easy to put up, and easy to take down. When stored, it sits discretely in the corner of the room. The picture is much brighter than on the wall and it is clearly an improvement. Sometimes I get a bit irritated when trying to make the image perfectly focused on the screen. On the one hand, since I'm taking the screen down after each movie, it is hard to get the screen truly perpendicular to the projector. On the other, there is some very gentle folding that comes from the very gentle curve on the top support beam. But, while these are irritating as long as I'm trying to make the image perfect, I forget all about it, and don't notice a thing, as soon as the movie starts.

  3. I just used for the first time last weekend. Great screen for the price. Very well built and solid product. Maybe it will not be very light to carry for most women, but I am not sure about that because I saw few reviews written by women saying that they had no problem carrying the screen around. I used a Nissan Maxima to transport the screen to another location, and I found out that it was not big as I was thinking, so I am assuming that it will fit inside of most cars. Also, I recommend you to buy the carry case if you want to keep the screen in a good condition. You will have problems to transport the screen inside the original box because it is huge, that's why a carry case (that is not included) it's a must.

  4. Bought it for an outside birthday party at night. The movie showed up very well after the sun went down. It sets up easy, it's easy to carry. The one thing I would change would be the position of the tripod legs so that the rear leg wasn't pointing straight back. Instead have one pointing straight forward and the two rear legs at an angle, then it would be easier to have the screen closer to the wall and maximize room space a little better.

  5. Fast open and close when transporting. Works great for my mobile teaching. Screen is of excellent quality, and ease of set-up and viewing. Get the bag, also.

I am happy to own one.

5 comments about Califone First Stereo Headphone Lightweight for Young Children Blue.
  1. I bought a set for each of my children; 2y and 5y. They are the perfect size for their little heads; they dont' slide off like other headsets do. They can both put them on without assistance, and they love wearing them. I love them because now I can listen to my XM in the car and not have the DVD competing behind me!

  2. I bought these headphones for my 19month old grandson to listen to classical music from his Mp3 player. They are perfect for him, just the right size and fit perfectly over his ears. He will sit and listen to the music for almost an hour, so they must be very comfortable for him too. He absolutely loves them. The headphones are great plus the the service was outstanding. Very fast shipping too! Definately 5 stars, all the way around.

  3. We purchased these for our 20month old for a very long flight to use with a dvd player. They worked great and our son actually kept them on his head! They are well built, light-weight, and are a great primary color (makes it more fun for kids). They are also the right size and cover the entire ear with very soft padding to stay on the ear better and fit smaller heads of toddlers (they are also adjustable to grow with your child). These also worked on the plane connected to the earphone jack for the on-plane movies so we were all peacefully watching a movie. I highly recommend these for your child as they were made specifically for young children.

  4. Just to clear things up, these are just child sized headphones that have been "hardened" to resist abuse. There are no control mechanisms and other features, just headphones.

    Overview-
These are just medium-low quality membranes in a hard package sized for little ones.

They seem to have a good size range. The cups can be slid up or down on the support rail a couple of inches for the older kids or left up for the younger ones. I have a 2 and a 5 year old and they fit both fine.

The exterior construction is a decent plastic, light and tough, can withstand a good amount of abuse. The actual contact surfaces seem to be a vinyl like material that is easy to clean, seems to wear well.

The actual acoustic membrane is protected by a plastic grid so if the kid takes them off and starts poking around inside they can't damage them.

The cup is filled with some type of foam, this helps to isolate outside sounds, though its not anything like dedicated noise cancelling or ear muffs. It reduces exterior noise but does not substantially eliminate it.

The wire that connects to your sound device is key, first off its reinforced with extra thick shielding, the ends are reinforced as well. This helps prevent tangling and snagging and breaking. Also from the plug to the cups there is only 1 wire. The wire to the other cup is built into the headband. This reduces the amount of wire hanging around to get tangled or broken. Very nice.

The sound quality is OK. It has good reproduction of low tones, serviceable reproduction of mid tones but poor reproduction of high tones. For its target age group that's probably ok. You can hear voices fine, just don't expect to enjoy your opera too well. Its not for serious music listening, its for kids who really wouldn't know the difference.

    That's about it. To recap

    Pros-
    Hardened design, very durable
    Tangle resistant wire
    Some exterior noise abatement

    Cons-
    Poor high tone reproduction.

    Conclusion-
If you have kids and you want to get them their own headphones so they stop destroying yours these are just the ticket.

  5. These are the perfect size for preschoolers. The only concern, is the black covering came off the ear piece but I was able to get it back on.

5 comments about Griffin Technology Amplifi Home Music Speaker System for iPod (Black).
  1. These speakers have a very sleek modern look and work great. The sound is extrememly clear. The reason why I did not give it a 5 is because they are not so loud considering the size. I've seen smaller speakers that go louder. In all great product, would definatley recommend.

  2. I have this system in a fairly large room and it does a good job. Sound quality not quite as impressive as Bose, but for the price it is close enough.

  3. I bought this device for my office, where I listen to music at a fairly low volume. Turning the volume smoothly down from a middle level, it all of a sudden mutes completely. There is no low- or low-middle setting for volume. This happens both with the volume knob on the front of the device and when using the remote.

  4. I didn't know what to think of this product when i saw it in the store, but after trying it, i was quickly convinced to take it home. I've had it for a month now and i'm very satisfied with the quality of the sound and manufacturing.

I use the AmpliFi on the roof of my building for pool bbq parties and it does a brilliant job even in the open space. The remote is a blessing in the living room and the depth of the bass is enough to have your neighbors complain.

  5. I bought this to go along with an iPod Nano to provide some music in an approximately 400 square foot room. I read a lot of reviews and comparisons, and chose the Amplifi.

The quality begins with the well made, protective box it comes in. The Amplifi itself has the look and solid feel of quality. It is finished nicely.

It is the simplest of units and has no music modifying capabilities or video. There is only one knob on the front of the unit which is for turning it on and off and adjusting the volume. The knob is surrounded by a blue light which looks really nice in the dark and lets you know when the remote signal has been received.

Now to the sound. At first, I noticed the forceful bass it produced. Then I noticed the clarity of the mid and upper range music. The bottom line is that this box reproduces music very well. I have listened to everything from Jazz to Rock and Roll and haven't found any serious deficiencies. Please do not expect the same sound reproduction as large, floorstanding speakers and subwoofers, but for what it is, a small box with 3 speakers, the sound reproduction exceeds expectations and fills the room. As one reviewer previously noted, the volume cannot be turned down to a very low level, so this may be inappropriate for a small office setting.

Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and listen to it almost daily. I do think that it is underpriced when compared to Bose and Altec Lancing models, so buy one before Griffin realizes their mistake and raises the price.

5 comments about PS2 To USB Keyboard Adapter M/f.
  1. OK, folks, listen up. There are two kinds of USB - PS/2 adapters. There's this kind, which simply changes one plug for another. It doesn't do any signal processing at all - it's just a dumb plug changer. For most of you, this will not work, because in order to use a PS/2 keyboard with a USB plug in the back of your computer, your adapter needs to change the signal somewhat. That's why you see the more expensive adapters - about $12 to $15. Those have circuitry inside them that actually changes the PS/2 output of your keyboard into a signal that the USB input of your computer will recognize. I learned this the hard way, too.

  2. received adapter on time and had it installed in seconds and worked as advertised. I will be bying more of these adapters in the future. Amazon was great

  3. Though I have a keyboard that should meet the standards for this device, which are that it is designed to work either as PS2 or USB and that it came with an adaptor, this simply did not work.

  4. I purchased 20 of these devices to convert PS2 Russian keyboards for a language classroom. We purchased new Dells that no longer have PS2 ports. Since the keyboards are so expensive, we decided to purchase converters instead of adding the PS2 board. I tried 6 of the converters on 4 different Dell computers and every USB port on the PCs. If it was detected at all, I received an error that it wasn't going to work properly and, sure enough, the keyboards weren't recognized. So I sent them back to Amazon and purchased dual splitters instead - and they worked perfectly. I have to comment that Amazon was a joy in the return process. I've never had to return anything before. I've always been hesitant about purchasing certain items for fear of the return process in the event I wasn't happy. But, this experience has proved to me that I don't have to worry. Thank you Amazon!!!

  1. 3 kids, one DVD player, 4,000 miles

Every other headphone adapter was for 2 people, I've got 3 kids. This worked great for the entire road trip-- 4,000 miles and not once did I have to say "Don't make me pull this car over!"

  2. Can be used with multiple pod and headphone combinations. My son plugged in Disney and Crazy Frog's versions of a song, through 2 pods. He and I both listened to his mix, and we still had two ports available for more friends or MP3 players. Only has one MP3 jack, so to use more than one device at a time, you need a male-to-male plug (radio shack/target/walmart for >$5). This is really cool for letting 5 kids listen at once. Great product. We'll see how it holds up over time, though the quality feels fine. Props to Belkin for making packaging that doesn't require scissors and sharp edges/sliced fingers to open...

EDIT: My son checked the packaging this morning before he threw it away and there was an extra male-to-male plug for connecting a second ipod wrapped up inside. The only way it could be better is if it made my coffee...

  3. I really would like to purchase this product for my iPod Nano, but I wan't sure if it works with the iPod. Please, please, please, someone answer this question!!!

  4. My daughter and her friends love to share ipod music. I've found it handy to listen to an electronic metronome and electronic music with the same headphones. Works great.

  5. Works well I use to listen to my iPod and computer through my speakers as it merges the sound it works well so I don't have to manually switch it. Also then allows me to add headphones.
