5 comments about Audio Splitter, 3.5Mm Stereo Male To 2 RCA Female.
  1. I ordered this item, but when I got it was a male to male cable, not male to female as advertised. It works great though, good sound quality, and easy to use.

  2. This product works exactly how I wanted it to. It changed the audio from my video game consoles into 3.5mm allowing my monitor's speakers to work with my games.

  3. Amazon.com had some options for this y-cable that would cost more than $15 with shipping. This was a much better value, ca. $8 altogether. The service from Cyberguys was great, the product of good quality.

  4. Works just the way it should, no problems what so ever and everything sounds just the same. I recommend this product.

  5. Good adapter to keep on hand. This "y" adapter can help in a lot of cable solutions.

5 comments about Cables To Go - 40019 - Optical To Coaxial Digital Audio Converter.
  1. I have this plugged in behind my TV, and it has worked flawlessly with my Xbox 360. Never had to even look at it since I originally hooked it up!

  2. Despite these other reviews claiming it locks up and freezes I have not encountered that at all over the past 2 months. Sound quality is fine. I wish the local electronic stores carried this product.

  3. Very simple to setup. Works like a charm. What more can I say.

  4. My Bose home theater, kind of stupid, has only 1 optical digital audio input, and 4 coaxial digital audio inputs. Most of the devices, now a day, only support optical digital audio input.

So, I purchased this converter. And here is my review on this product.

    Pros:
+ It's quite easy to install. It comes with a power adapter. Just plugs that to the outlet. Connect the coaxial digital audio, in my case, to my home theater. Connect the optical digital audio to my DVD player.

+ The audio is pretty good. Now, I can listen to Dolby Digital 5.1 from my DVD player.

    Cons:
+ After purchasing the converter, you will need to purchase 2 more cables, the optical digital audio cable and the coaxial digital audio cable.

+ I've heard people having problem with it that will require unplug the power adapter and replug it. I never had this kind of problem..... well until yesterday. The audio just stopped. I didn't have time to try the fix (by unplug the adapter). But, I turned it on again this morning. And it is working. So, it got a hiccup. Hopefully, the hiccup doesn't happen too often.

  5. Does exactly what it supposed to do. Saved me money, by not having to by a new receiver.

5 comments about Samsung CLP-315W Color Laser Printer.
  1. I really like this printer. It arrived today and I immediately pulled it out of the box and started to set it up. I used my Macintosh to set it up without problem. I installed drivers on the rest of the computers in the house (2 PCs, 3 Macs) and pointed all the computers at the Samsung on the wifi network. Worked like a charm. Relatively quiet and fast. Colors are vibrant. The only drawback is that the text isn't as sharp as I I thought it should be, but it is not terribly noticeable. In all a great printer.

  2. The Samsung CLP-315W is an affordable, superior light-duty color printer. It's easy to set up on the WLAN if you can follow instructions, accessible from all my computers, and prints great images in beautiful color that's waterproof. Only minor drawback is it takes a bit of time to warm up (less than a minute), but that's no problem for home/small business use. It beats the heck out of the several HP inkjets I've wrestled with over the past couple of years. I'll not go back to them anytime soon - the Samsung is all we need now.

  3. I have owned this printer a couple of weeks. It was easy to set up as my home network printer and it does a beautiful job with both color and B & W prints. I set it for B & W default printing and I change to color as needed to save toner.
I would recommend it for any application that does not require huge volume printing. I have found Samsung to be a very reliable brand.

  4. Samsung has exceeded my expectations again. The quality of this printer is excellent, small size and super quiet. We had no problem at all setting this up on our home network. We've had several printers that cost MUCH more than this with less print quality, so we are extremely happy with our purchase. We own several Samsung products and have never been disappointed with quality and price.

  5. I am not a techy, but got this printer and within 20 minutes out of the box it was setup on my wifi and was working. The CD works perfectly and I was able to setup all 3 of my computers within 5 minutes each. Printer works great wireless. The only catch is you need to setup where you can plug into an ethernet jack to start (ie to get the ip address assigned), just make sure you have wireless reception there.

For the price, I am buying a second one for toner. The toner alone is worth $130-140 so its like getting a second printer for $85. Not to bad. Print quality in draft mode was also acceptable for most uses. I defaulted to draft as a result.

2 comments about MSI Wind 10" Premium Memory Foam Pouch Case (Black) (10.2 inch).
  1. Memory foam is on the inside of case, fake leather vinyl exterior. It's not an all your stuff in one bag, but, it better than the one that comes with the MSI Wind. Handles are adequate to carry weight of computer, but, could be better. I'm using the one that came with the computer as an accessory bag and this one, for just the computer. Cupping the computer bag handles, you can carry the MSI bag above it comfortably filled with cords, mouse and accessories. About 5 LBS carrying both cases with the chager in the MSI bag. It will fit a 6-cell Wind with a slight bulge on the bottom. For me this works. When I only want to take the computer, I can leave the MSI bag behind. For times when you don't absolutely need a mouse or your charger, it's a good way to go. Both bags will fit easily in my soft briefcase, when I need to travel with everything. It has 2 zippers, which is usefull if you need to install a Kensington lock. One bad thing is that if you leave your computer in the case while you're using it, the memory foam will kill the sound fidelity of the speakers. But, if you prefer to remove it, the elastic bands on the bottom allow it to be quickly removed. 4-stars because the bag is more utilitarian than sophisticated. For this kind of device, it's a good bag for simple travel and provides a decent amount of protection.

  2. As the previous reviewer states correctly, a better case certainly than the MSI freebie. Good quality double zips, lockable too through the zips' O rings. Padding is good, straps are good enough and not so rigid that they stick out...so easy to put in a briefcase. Overall complements the Wind. I wish it had some pockets for CDs, flashmemory etc. Buying a second one.

5 comments about Altec Lansing inMotion iMmini Portable Audio System for iPod Mini.
  1. Phenomenal sound for its size -- almost sounds like it has a sub woofer.
A great price through Amazon (way less than retail asking price published on Altec Lansing's web site).

Very convenient for Ipods, MP3's & Portable CD players.

  2. This speaker dock station/player has unbelievable sound. As a massage therapist I need something that produces a quality sound that is very portable and lightweight. I have purchased other lightweight units, but were disappointed with the bass that it would produce. I have had many of my clients make comments and questions on where they could purchase one of these. I purchased mine for about $70 and got a great deal... it charges while it plays great sound and comes with a protective cover.. great for on the go with batteries or as a plug in.

  3. I bought this mini portable audio system for my desk at work because it looked small and light. When I actually received it I was surprised at how small it really is and a little skeptical, but I am very happy with it. It sounds really good with the volume high or really low. I would recommend this product to anyone; it is a very good buy. The price is excellent also.

  4. We own the Altec Lansing inMotion and wanted
another one for our Florida Condo. What we received
is NOT the same. It is smaller and does not fold up.
The one sent does not fit the regular iPod just the Nano.
    Bad Deal!

  5. I have purchased three of these over the past year. For the money, this compact portable speaker system is great. My wife uses one for her IPOD Nano in the kitchen and the other two are used as supplemental speakers for two laptop computers we own. In both roles, these speaker work great. They won't blow you away but for an average size room, they do fill the room with sound nicely. These speakers can't compare with offerings from BOSE costing 10 to 15 times more but if you keep your expectations in check you won't be disappointed.

5 comments about Sony MDR-V600 Studio Monitor Series Headphones with Circum-Aural Earcup Design.

  1. From the start had to fiddle with plug to get good sound.
At first, I thought it was the computer jack, but as time
went on it got worse and worse. Did some experimenting
and determined it was definitely loose wiring in the plug.

You spend this kind of money you at least expect it to be
manufactured well. I'm done with Sony. I've had other bad
experiences recently, they just aren't what they used to be.

  2. Great price, comfortable product, fast service...heaven on the ears, oh so soft...love them, use them every day. :-)

  3. I purchased the MDR-V600 years ago and I love them. They were not labled "studio headphones" at the time. They are light, comfortable, and give a full rich sound. I've had my pair for more than a decade and they've held up perfectly with standard use. I missed 4 phone calls already today listening to music with them so I would have to agree that there is very little outside sound intrusion. These headphones are worth the money for both comfort and excellent sound but they were not originally sold as full studio headphones.

  4. Happy owner since 2000 (the model has been around since the mid 90s). These headphones far exceed my expectations. I still have a wonderful listening experience every time I put them on.

    Pros:
--Wonderful sound. All I need, plus terrific bass (I'm no audiophile, so for the casual listener you will be satisfied)
    --Long, extendable cord
    --Comfortable!

    Cons:
--The covering material degrades (it took 8 years for this to happen to my headphones). The ear pads and headband pad are made of a soft pleather-like material that has cracked and come off of the foam underneath.:
--Ear pads: These can be replaced with pads that cost $9.95 each (at the time of this posting) from Sony (search their website for the parts department) You can also find other modifications by searching the internet. Some people have just peeled away the material, but I found that to be uncomfortable for the ear pads.
--Headband pad: I could not find a replacement, but one night I gently peeled away all the material exposing the fabric covered foam underneath. They now work great! The fabric is very soft, comfortable and durable. Sony should have just kept this fabric exposed.

Overall, I had to spend little money over 9 years to maintain the headphones by replacing the ear pads. I think that's a bargain considering how well they sound and their upfront price. I recommend these to any casual listener that wants an amazing sound experience.

  5. I have owned these headphones for many years now. They are comfortable to wear for about an hour or so, but any longer and my ears start to get uncomfortably hot. They do fold up nicely but they are just too big to be portable in my opinion. The vinyl on the earpads and headband deteriorated and was a little messy but they still work. They are not the best sounding headphones as they produce slightly boomy upper-frequency bass and really lack detail in the midrange but the highs are nice and not too bright. You can get a pair of Sony earbuds for less than half the price that sound much better, provide more isolation, and are a lot lighter. Also, the cord is heavy and tends to make my head lean to the left if it is hanging down in front of me. I still use them occasionally when I don't feel like having earbuds stuck in my ears but there are better choices available for less money.

3 comments about Tripp Lite F017-006 IEEE 1394b Firewire 800 Gold Hi-speed Cable, 9pin/6pin - 6ft.
  1. I bought a firewire 800 card as I was told it was the state of the art and backware compatible. I wasn't told that it has a different plug. So I bought this cord. Works great and isn't as bulky as adding adapters.

  2. I bought this for my Firewire Drobo in order to make it compatible with my computer's Firewire port. Data transfer speeds are as fast as ever, and the price is very reasonable!

  3. I purchased this because the Macbook Pro (2008 Edition) does not have a firewire 400 port but it does have a FW800 port. Since I have a few devices, including my Presonus Firepod audio interface, that require a FW400 connection Tripp Lite's converter cable was perfect. I haven't had any problems with it and it's more flexible than the single-piece converters that I've seen.

5 comments about Car + Home Wall Charger for Sandisk Sansa Clip 1GB, 2GB.
  1. I bought this hoping it would charge my Sansa Clip. It doesn't work at all. I even went as far as to try different outlets and it doesn't charge.

  2. I got this bundle thinking "I got a great deal" right? WRONG! The chargers don't work with my Sansa Clip 2GB. The light comes on and the charging screen pops up and everything but once you unplug you notice that there is no charge, even if left over night charging on the wall charger. And the car charger I just don't know some times it charges and other times it does not. So if you are thinking of buying it you might want to think again...

  3. Didn't work. Shows connected but doesn't charge. BargainCell is misrepresenting the product big time. JUNK.

  4. This charger absolutely does not work -- it is worthless. I've attempted multiple configurations and times and it actually drains the charge already on the MP3 unit. Don't even try it. It is hard to believe something so simple is so severely flawed.

  5. I don't know why Sandisk doesn't include a wall charger with the Clip. I use my Clip daily and hate having to leave my computer on to charge it. These chargers have worked great so far. I'm glad I purchased them.

5 comments about TDK CD-R80TWN Music CDR Media 4-48x 80min 50-Pack.
  1. The new TDK Music CD-Rs no longer work in my Pro CD recorder.I've never had a problem with TDK Music CD-Rs in the past but I've tried several spindles of the new CD-Rs with the new labels and packaging and they have been nothing but problems.I have contacted TDK several times about it but no reply!

  2. I've used Maxell and SONY MUSIC CD-Rs extensively on my SONY CD recorder and experienced a >= 10% problem rate with either. I've used about 30 of a 50-pack of the TDK and they have been flawless. Of course, I might get another batch and encounter problems but, to date, these are clearly the pick. (I've also had good experience with Fuji Music CD-RW - have yet to try Fuji Music CD-R) Ironically, these TDKs may not be available much longer as the company has been sold to Imation. We'll see. (I still see both products on the TDK website, but not in the 50-pack brick which I got a great buy on here on Amazon. So, might be a good idea to "stock up".)

  3. TDK always provides a reliable product. Just wish these weren't so hard to find.

  4. Only half of these cd`s would work, terrible product!! Stay away from!!!!!
This is a shame because I bought these discs years ago when I bought my cd burner and these discs were the top of the line.....well they`ve fallen!

  5. These CD-Rs from TDK have been a real disappointment - they don't play in some CD players, will play sporadically in others...there's a problem here that, in my experience, seems specific to the TDK "music" discs.
