5 comments about Bose® In-Ear Headphones.
- I jog and jump rope a lot. The sound is just ok, and the earbuds constantly fall out of my ear. I've tried the other size ear buds that come with it and still nothing seems to fit right. I don't recommend these if you are going to use them with any kind of activity.
- Firstly I want to start off by saying that I am not one of those people who hate on Bose no matter what they make, even if they are good. I love Bose products; the QC is a great line of active noise canceling headphones, but these IE headphones....??? they cant compare to the shine that their other headphones illuminate. I don't think these headphones are terrible, I just think they are WAY overpriced. I think it should have fallen below $60, but I know, they might run out of ad $$$.
Now to begin the review, what you see is NOT what you get. The design is top notch, and looks crazy cool. Although they are not the first ones to come up with that type of design, Samsung came up with one of these designs around 2001, but these look much slicker than the Samsung ones. The build of the IE is nothing less than great.
Just because they are In Ear, does not mean they block noise as most in ear monitors do. They fall right in between in ear canals like the Etymotics ER6i and the Sennheiser CX 300. They feel very insecure on your ear; it feels like its going to fall off. Since they are just hanging there in your ears, there is a lot of open space which allow you to engage in conversations without having pull out your headphones.
The silicone tips get lost very easily, that's why they provide you with the leather case, so USE IT!! The silicone tips also get dirty very easily if not put in the case while not in use. You don't have to worry too much about your ear wax getting stuck to it because it doesn't really go real deep inside you ear. Other accessories include the cable winder and different sizes of the silicone tips.
I am used to getting a complete seal to enjoy bass response; these headphones surprised me with producing excellent bass response without the full seal. The bass is good but it empowers over the mids and highs. If you really love bass driven music but also want to enjoy the mids and the highs, Sennheiser's CX 300 is the way to go. The IE's reproduction accuracy of music is very poor, it exaggerates the bass and seems blurs out the other frequency ranges.
I am used to having my volume on 30%, but these headphones require 53% to enjoy the full sound. The CX 300 works smarter and is very power efficient compared to the IE, which eats up your battery life faster.
Overall they are better than the iPod stock buds (not to hate on them but their last revision was pretty impressive), but any headphones above $20 should be better than the stock (duh). Many people seem to worship these headphones, but I just hope the nominating reader has tested better cans than these.
Let me propose my listmania of best value IEMs for under $100 bucks!
- I really really dislike these headphones. I can't wait to replace them. These are the "NEW" ones with the black and white cable.
I use them mostly when I am flying with minimal head movement. Yet, they ae constantly falling out of my ears. I spend more time positioning and re-positioning these obnoxious little buds, I could just spit.
I don't have huge ears like, say, Barack Obama. They are pretty normal. But these little devils spill out with every turn of my head. I hate them.
The sound is okay: not "WOW!" like you expect from Bose. Maybe it's because these buggers sit outside the ear canal cradled in the outer ear. I hate them.
- I bought the headphones 18 months ago.The sound was excellent... but they went outside the ears when I was running... and now there is a noise all the time because the cable connection ¿ twisted? I dont know what happened because I used them with my mp3 player in my daily exercise (running)... expensive and short live..
- Bose lives up to their reputation again. For this type of earphone the bass response is phenomenal and the whole frequency spectrum has the life that was intended when the song was produced. (I am a recording engineer and producer, so I know)

3 comments about DB Premium USB 2.0 SD/SDHC/MMC Card Reader / Writer - Black.
- This small USB device reads the SD cards from my cameras in a flash -- Windows shows the files & folders almost the instant the card is inserted. It's tiny and lightweight, roughly the size of a USB Thumb Drive.
Simple and to-the-point, this reader does exactly what it's supposed to. My only issue will be keeping track of the end caps & not losing them.
- For some reason, each time I insert either of my 2 SD cards in this reader, a notice appears on my computer screen stating that the card needs to be formatted before it can be used. Since one of them is filled with my photos, I obviously am not going to format it and delete them so I am unable to use this reader with it. The other card--a Sandisk 2.0--is blank, but when I try to format it, I get another on-screen notice stating that Windows XP is unable to complete the formatting. Using a card reader which came free with the Sandisk card (purchased from another vendor,) the "need to format" pop up does not appear and I have no trouble reading from and writing to either of the 2 cards. I have no idea why this is happening, but this reader is useless to me and I will be returning it for a refund.
- I bought four of these, one for each family member to use with our new LG ENV2 phones. They all work perfectly and are extremely convenient for creating content in iTunes & Quicktime for custom ringtones, music and videos.

5 comments about Belkin Remix Acrylic Case for iPod nano 3G (Clear).
- My wife said I did great picking up these cases for the kid's nanos. We put them on right away and you can see a shiny unscratched nano underneath in a hard shell plastic case. That is exactly what you want. One problem though, if you have an iPod dock, it might not work. I can get it to work on some of my docks and not others. There is a small plastic lip that overhangs the front of the case so you have to remove the dock adapter and see if the connection will reach. It works on my iPod alarm clock without a snap in adapter and on one of my speakers but it doesn't work on my third dock. Look at your docks to see how far it protrudes. I can verify that the Omnivibe speaker doesn't reach (no sound and no charge) the Bushnell Itunes does, and the Luna Alarm Clock does. The case rocks, the lip is an achilles heel.
- i checked alot of ipod cases online before i purchased this one. this is for the new ipod nano and it looks great. many cases either dont protect the screen or the click wheel. i know the white click wheel can get very dirty from experience with my old ipod. i like this case because this has a very thin protective layer over the wheel and it can still be very easy to use. this is the first case that i bought but i think its great. the only thing that i dont like about it that dirt can be easily trapped inside due to the opening on the bottom for headphones and usb. the case snaps shut and opens easily but is still very secure. over, great case i would recommend over the other ones, great price too.
- Well I have had this case for about a month and so far it has been holding up well. The one con against is that I can't use the ipod microphone when the ipod is in the case since in order to keep the mp3 from falling out, the designer had to add the curved corners. But nonetheless, the plastic seems to be holding well. Haven't really tried dropping and seeing though I would guess that if it did, the ipod would just pop out upon impact
- I really liked this product. It get scratched easily but hey at lesat its no on the iPod lol....
- Belkin also makes cases for the iPod classic, but this one for the nano is better. It's better for one reason-the integrated click wheel cover. I have yet to see a better design for an iPod case. The cover is that little bonus feature that makes this purchase a must for any Nano owner. Plus the case is sturdy and easy to open (not something I can say about the iPod Classic case by Belkin.) The added thickness and weight is minimal. Check it out. It's definitely worth a look.

4 comments about Ge Jasho98960 Pc Stereo Headset With Boom Mic.
- I did not plan on buying this but picked it up after the microphone for my laptop camera proved totally inadequate for what I needed it to do. You know, these headphones aren't pretty but the sound is good. It's not great but the GE Jasho is super cheap and does exactly what I need it to do. It's a very functional accoutrement for your computer on the whole. I'm going to have to upgrade now because if you're doing videos you probably want to make them look less geeky and more professional, but if you're just using it to e-phone or chat then you can't go wrong with this model.
- My daughter sent me the link for this headset so I can utilize Skype.while she is in Europe
We've been talking weekly and the headset is comfortable the sound so clear the dog goes nuts thinking she's in the room.
Just make sure your volume is up on the computer and your good to go.
- Inexpensive, good headset for use with Skype. Comfortable with good volume clear input and output. Long cord so you do not pull off the headset when moving around your desk.
- This product is labeled as mac compatible but it is not. If your mac only has a "line in" plug (as with most macs), you will need a headset with a USB plug. This product does not have a USB plug.

5 comments about Gilsson UBM Portable Car Non-Skid Friction Beanbag Dashboard Mount.
- Portable Car Non-Skid Friction Beanbag Auto Dash Dashboard Mount for Apple iPod Nano iPhone MP3, Garmin Nuvi 350 200 200W 250 260 650 660 GPS, TomTom One, Zune Player, Navigon 7100, Blackberry, Motorola Razr, MP3 Player or Garmin color eTrex Nuvi 750 76...
This mount holds my Tom Tom securely to the dash of any vehicle I put it in. Sometimes the mounting cup on my Tom Tom turned loose from the windshield, letting the unit fall. It has not turned loose from this mount. The beanbag is a bit large, but I guess that is one of the reasons that it works as well as it does. This is not really a major concern. GPS units are not that cheap!
- I have been using the Gilsson friction beanbag dashboard mount for one week, and am very pleased with the result.
The non-skid material on the bottom side of the beanbag provides excellent friction on dashboard surface. The beanbag, as well as my Garmin 660, does not slide even in hard acceleration and quick cornering situations. Although the instruction recommends placing the beanbag with one of the corners pointing front (thus making it diamond shape) for maximum stability, I found a regular square placement orientation (with one edge facing front) still provides sufficient stability.
Measured at 7" x 7", it is about 55% in size compared with Garmin model, which is 11" x 8". In addition, its square shape makes it look clean and nice on the dashboard. Originally, I was considering another model by Gilsson, the UBM-2 which measures 8" x 8, for the wide-screen Garmin 660 GPS. After one week's of testing, I concluded that it is not necessary.
Another thing I should mention is that the color in the pictures on Amazon looks burgundy, but the units I received are in black, which matches perfectly with the black interior of my car. A nice bonus to me.
For the price and performance, I think this is the best beanbag mount currently available on the market.
- Good product, god price, fast delivery. I just wish it was not so bulky. It would be easier to pack in the glove compartment.
- I had the greatest hopes for this product and I wasn't disappointed! It really defies the laws of physics and I'm still amazed that it works. I use it mainly for my Magellan GPS and now I can't imagine being without it. No more struggling to mount the GPS on my windshield and having it drop off 5 minutes into the trip. And I don't have to fight getting it off the windshield when I leave my car. I just toss the whole thing into my trunk after a trip and I'm done. Great little device. I recommend it highly to anyone with a GPS.
- This is my second attempt at getting a non-skid beanbag friction dashboard mount (or NoSkiBeFriDashMo as we call them in the GPS scene) that plays nice with my TomTom 920's stubby little suction-cup mount. The Bracketron UFM-100BL Nav-Mat GPS Friction Dash Pad does NOT work with the TomTom 920 (or any of the 700s or 900s, I assume) because the little arm on the TomTom's suction cup is so short, the GPS can't get over the big fat beanbag ring around the Bracketron mat. This means the GPS winds up angled almost straight-up, and you can't see the screen. Bogus!
But the Gilsson NoSkiBeFriDashMo, which I'm reviewing here, is excellent. The mounting surface (where you attach the suction cup) lies more or less flat with the rest of the pad, so I was actually able to see my TomTom's screen.
In order to test the Gilsson's NoSkiBeFriDashMo, I did some donuts in old man Cruthers's front yard, and I wasn't able to get it to budge. Glisson really puts the "Non-Skid Friction Beanbag" in Non-Skid Friction Beanbag Dashboard Mount!
It is a little big - about 7" by 7", so if you're driving an embarrassing car like a Miata you're going to be even more embarrassed when you can't put the pad in your microscopic glovebox. I suggest hiding it under the seat.
Finally, the bottom of the Gilsson, where the friction lives, feels really weird. I highly recommend touching it.

5 comments about Ultimate Ears Super.fi 5 Pro Earphones (Black).
- I hope these are as good as people say. I passed on the Shure SE420 to get these. I hope i was right. Was I?
- Just got these babys. Plugged them in, turned on Xanadu by Rush and had an out of body experience. These earphones are absolutely amazing. i can't put in words the experience I just had listening to songs I have heard 1000 times before. All I can say is Bose Who?
- I gotta say, I'm not one for reviews but have to speak up after a long search while looking for some in ear type earphones. I looked all over, lots of reading of reviews on the different earphones, I finally decided to buy these based on quality, usage, comfort and price. I couldn't be happier! These things are great!
Was looking at buying the more expensive triple.fi 10 Pro's ($350) or the Shure SE530 ($430). Those models are 2 or 3 times the price of these Super.fi 5 pro's but there is just no way they are 2 or 3 times better, if at all!! I don't think I'm quite the "audiophile" many others are so that may be a factor. I enjoy listening to all genre's of music from rap, rock, country, pop, techno, metal and classical. Everything really. My usual sources are CD's, iPod or plug in to computer or stereo equipment. More a casual user who just wanted a little more for my listening pleasure.
So just appreciate good music, good sounds and was looking for an improvement over the normal iPod earbuds or the over the ear headphones which I enjoy but can be inconvinient. By the way, I have the Bose On-Ear cans that run about $180 and really like them. Great Base and good overall sound. But wanted something compatible but smaller & more convenient. I tried the Bose Earbuds at about $99 and didn't like the fit and the sound wasn't that "noticeable" difference compared to the iPod Earbuds. A small upgrade, but I wanted more. Better. So off I went looking for more.
I got "more" with the U.Ears Super.Fi 5 Pro's without spending an arm & a leg! Fantastic improvement over the iPod Earbuds, and better than the Bose in-ear and worth the extra money. I tried the Shure E4 and these were just better. Better overall sound & fit. Practically same price and while both were an upgrade, these just sound better. The Super.Fi 5 pro's are comfortable, deliver nice base, great sound with all Genre's of music and with minimal noise leaking. I can listen to loud music without disturbing other around me. Gives you a good seal in an excellent sound isolating earphone.
Look, the triple.fi 10 pro's and the Shure SE530's are great, but 2 to 3 times better? They are good, but I just don't see that big of a difference especially for that much money. And for what I'm using them for which is mostley listening to my iPod or CD Player are they worth the extra $200 to $250 more? I say these Super.fi 5 pro's are excellent and exactly what I was looking for.
Great earphones and good price point.
- After reading the reviews, I figured these were just what I was looking for. However, the pair I received has really poor sound quality. There was a significant amount of distortion.
- I ordered this last November on amazon.com and it was priced at $159.99 then. Everything seemed to be perfect and I was happy, until two weeks ago, when the wire near the end of the earphone's plug-in started to malfunction with an intermittent on-and-off for the left earphone. First, I have been very careful in terms of use, not abusing it in any way, especially with the wire. Secondly, I do use it almost every day, mostly in the morning when doing my morning exercise. Now, I am not sure it's still under a guaranty, or to do some repair on my own. In order to highlight this caution of mine, I give it only one star, even though it does worthy a 4 start rating.

5 comments about DLO Jam Jacket with Cord Management for the 80 GB iPod classic (Black).
- The description says, "Access to all iPod classic controls and dock connector." Well, that will be true if the only dock connector you use is the USB cord. If you have a device like the Belkin dock, and want to park your iPod to charge, and use the output to feed some other audio component, that's not going to happen. It WILL NOT fit on the dock with the jacket on it. I can see where this would be a good thing to have, if your iPod only goes from your computer to your pocket, but, for me, it's not so hot.
After a couple of weeks, I finally just had to give up using this. I found that, with the jacket on, the iPod wheel sometimes just stops working.
- The cover is great! It's soft to the touch and is not as bulky as I expected it to be. I appreciate that it has a specific place where I can wrap and store the cord, that way it doesn't get tangled where ever I store it. The only disadvantage to this product is that it doesn't have a screen protector. I think if you are considering this product you should go for it!
- I really wanted to like this case - it's nice-feeling, very functional, and I liked the earbud management - however, it kills the wheel's responsiveness. I completely lose all sensitivity between 3 and 6 o'clock on the wheel. The wheel works fine outside of the case. The hunt for the perfect case continues.
- One reason I like this ipod case is because you not only are protecting your ipod, which is like an investment but also you can manage the headphones cord which can become annoyningly tangled. As soon as my son saw it, he wanted one, so I had to buy another one for him. And the price was great.
- Really like this product..Not the usual silicon sleeve or hard case, love the design which makes it stand out from the usual..And I get lots of "where did you get that case from", which is always good.

- An excellent case for the 17 inch notebook. Convenient side pockets and inside sections for extras. Nice look and sturdy.
- The Targus CPT400 laptop case is well made, with more than enough space and pockets for a normal persons needs.I am quite happy with my purchase!
- I own a DELL 17" Inspiron 1720 Laptop and I couldn't have found a better notebook case than the Targus CPT400. I love this bag. It has many compartments that hold so much. I even carry my laptop cooling fan and many more accessories. You will NOT be disappointed with this purchase. Very Sharp looking and Durable!!!
- very practical, good quality, OK price, holds 17 inch LT w/ bunch of other stuff. I'll rank this product 5 out of 5. There is really nothing wrong w/ this case.
- Great case. I just wish it was a little thicker so I could cram more stuff in it. If I could give 4 and a half stars, I would.

- this is an ok mic but i bot it for my ps3 and it does not work on some games and what ever you do do not bend the part that you talk into or you will have to hold it right up to your teeth but all you have to do is bend it back
- The product was as advertised and arrived early. I just don't like wearing headphones. They bother my ears!
- I love this headset. I use it for a work at home job and I love it.
- This set works great and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. My only complaint is that the headphones are too tight. If you will be wearing it for most of the work day, like I do, it might cause you some headaches.
- Got the product quickly and it works great. A little feedback at times, but nothing too serious

5 comments about CAD EPF-15A 6-Inch Flexible Pop Filter.
- The screw/knob that tightens the gooseneck to the arm always comes undone very easily. I think they could have designed one that tightens better. Other than that this is a good pop screen to get going with.
- It's just OK. The gooseneck is very weak, but it still holds up the filter as long as you don't bump it. It's light, but it still works.
- I love this pop filter. I bought 4, and use them for my podcast, RoneyZone Radio. I won't record without one.
- I have had no problem with slipage off the stand with the screw mount or issues with it bending out of place (unless bumped). Great flexability - handy when I switch mic's I don't have to adjust the filter too much. the filter isn't the best on the market, but it gets the job done. Definately a must have for the home studio frugal.
- Unless this is made of some material developed by NASA, you're just as well off stealing some of your mom's or girlfriend's nylons and stretching them over a wire hanger. Honestly, this product is no more complicated than that. Save your money, be creative.
