5 comments about Klear Screen iKlear iPod, iBook & PowerBook Cleaning Kit.
- This product cleans well, but that is simply it. It does not remove scratches. You can simply do the same with another cheap cleaner. It's a waste of money.
- i bought this to help keep my ipod and imac clean and i've been pleasantly surprised so far. it does a good job of cleaning off loose dirt and keeping things looking new. it's pretty straight forward and easy to use. i'd recommend it.
- The iKlear may be used by professionals, but a word of warning to all average citizens: it's hard to use. It cleans very well and produces a like-new appearance, but it's the process that is so dreadfully painful. Even with the directions, it is still difficult to produce the expected result in a relatively short amount of time.
If you want a perfectly safe tool to clean your computer, this is the product for you. Just make sure you clear your schedule beforehand.
- I've tried many others out there and this one truly is the BEST. It gets all greasy finger prints and smudges out and leaves the LCD crystal clear and helps keep it static free so there's no dust and fuzzies on it. I use it on my laptop, HD tv too and it works great on cleaning the outside of the laptop as well as my cell phone and ipod.
- This cleaning product works well on my iBook with a Mr.Clean eraser. I highly reccomend it.

2 comments about Microsoft Expression Web 2.
- I have been using both Dreamweaver and Frontpage for a long time and have watched both grow. With Expression 1.0 Frontpage grew up and became a serious web tool, with Expression Web 2.0 it leaves Adobe playing catch up. There is simply no better tool out there that will help you create and manage your sites. Perhaps Adobe will make Dreamweaver CS4 better but for now this is the new leader in WYSIWYG web design
- I've used Frontpage for a number of years but it began acting badly on my new computer. As there wasn't a Frontpage update available - and nobody at MS seems interested in resolving my problems - I began a search for a replacement. I tried Dreamweaver C3 and was pleased. I thought about buying it but found it impossible to order online - something about matching my credit card information. I switched to Adobe's phone ordering and was promptly placed on hold. After waiting 10 minutes I hung up and started searching again.
Amazon suggested Microsoft Expression when I searched for Dreamweaver so I downloaded the free trial version. It loaded just fine, but that's about it. I attempted to edit a simple php page and the cursor bounced all over the place. It was very difficult to even select and move content. I saved the file and closed the program - then started again. The problems were the same AND I discovered that Expression added some heading code to my file - code that I did not want.
If Expression is supposed to really be a threat to DW then I'm missing something. Of the two programs I prefer DW3, but I can't order it. Heck, the Adobe site suggested a retailer in my area, but has their address wrong. If I go to that store I wonder what I'll find.
I am sorely disappointed in both of these giants. It seems that success has turned them both into typical uncaring behemouths.
My search continues. I have pages to write and I don't have a WYSIWYG editor. I guess I'm returning to hand coding. At least Notebook still works as expected.

5 comments about PSP 2000 Component AV Cable.
- I have owned this cable for a little over 2 months now, and feel like its time for a review. The cable itself is of fairly high quality, however, its really way too short unless you only sit about 5-6 feet away from your tv. I have to sit on the edge of my couch to reach the psp comfortably. Sony should have known that a longer cable would be a necessity considering most tvs only have component inputs on the back, and your average user sits between 6-10 feet away from their tv.
The video quality on the cable is about what you would expect on a big screen hdtv. One major letdown, as many others have noted is that when playing games on the psp the video output is only about 1/3 of the actual screen size of the tv. When playing Videos, music, or looking at pictures, the quality is about what you would expect for a 480p input. If you have a tv that has a component input but is not hd then you will not be able to display games for some reason, only movies, music and pictures.
Overall unless you have a specific reason to output video from your psp onto your tv, I would pass on these cables. It can be very distracting trying to play a game within this huge black box because the psp cant display full video out.
- I think one of the best features is that it works with remote play. Sounds pointless to some people...but i have my PS3 set-up in my bedroom and large speakers in my living room. So i use my psp hooked into my TV and stream my Music through remote play to my TV and Stereo in my Living room. Very neat.
- OK yeah, when you play games on the PSP and look at it on the TV its a smaller picture. I have a 32" LCD and I loose about 6" a side in viewing real estate ... but its still about 12x bigger than the PSP screen itself and let me tell you its worth it. You can actually see what you're doing, and when I'm playing God of War: Chains of Olympus I want to see what is going on. Video and pictures don't loose that kind of viewing real estate. I noticed about an inch around viewing a video UMD and I suspect the same to be true for pictures although I currently don't have any jpeg files on my Memory Sticks to look at. I would say all in all its well worth the price ... currently under $20.00 and it will increase your gaming / viewing pleasure of the PSP. My one complaint and the reason for 3 stars instead of 4 stars (which for me is a good review, I rarely give 5 stars) and this is my caveat emptor for this product as well. The videogame output will only work on these cables if you have a progressive scan TV, even without progressive scan you can still watch videos and view images, but to get game video on the TV from the PSP you need progressive scan on your TV and this is not clearly advertised ... this is all it says on Amazon about half way down the page:
Product Description
Used to connect to TV Component-port for Progressive-Scan video display.
This is inaccurate as you only need PS to play games, not videos or images.
If you have progressive scan and you don't mind your game video being smaller than your total TV viewing area (its still a lot bigger than PSP screen) or you have video UMDs that you want to watch on the big screen, then these are the cables you want.
- OK, you've got the cable, but don't think you have a PS2 now. It gives you a good image, but create borders in most of the games I've tried.
Worths the money, but I still prefer playing on its own screen...
Cheers,
Ricardo
- The Good:
+Allows you to play your PSP games on your television
+Very easy to connect and set up
The Bad:
-Your television must support progressive scan or else it won't work
-For some games it brings out the worst in graphics
-The cord is too short
-Twenty dollars is a bit expensive
During the days when the Super Nintendo ruled the world, Nintendo developed what was known as The Super Gameboy. It was where you stuck your gameboy games into a specially made cartridge and they played on your Super Nintendo. The Gamecube also had a variant. The Gameboy Player. These things worked really well to play handheld games on a television. Sony, taking a lesson from Nintendo, decided to do their own. The cable does exactly what it's supposed to but there are a couple of things that just make it a hassle to deal with.
It's easy to work. At the bottom of your PSP is the port, and then you plug the cables into your television. These cables do not work a standard definition television, however. It must be an HDTV and it must support Progressive Scan or else you won't get a picture. When you plug the cables in and connect it to your PSP and you get a picture, it's actually quite crisp. In some games, however, it'll bring out the worst in the graphics. Some games just weren't meant to be on the big screen. Some games you can see more jagged edges that you otherwise wouldn't see on the PSP's small screen.
One big problem, however, is that the game doesn't take up the whole screen. It's basically just a rectangle in the center of the television. It works out, but the menu itself will actually take up the entire screen. It's a little strange, but games play very well. And the PSP acts as your controller. However, this can be a little bothersome to some people.
If you ever suddenly need to take it off the TV you can disconnect from your PSP in the middle of play with no harm done to your television or your PSP.
There is one other major problem with this device. The fact that the cord is incredibly short. It's bad enough it doesn't work on a standard definition TV and that it shows the worst in some graphics and that it doesn't take up the whole screen, but the short cord may be one of the bigger problems. In some cases, you'll be a little unreasonably close, especially if your plugins are on the back of your television. A longer cord would've been nice.
Perhaps one of my bigger complaints is that the list price is simply unreasonable. Twenty dollars is a lot to spend on just a cord. Luckily, there are some sellers who are selling it for much cheaper.
Overall, it does what it's supposed to do, but there's a bit of a cost to getting it there. If you feel like playing your PSP games on your television, then it isn't bad at all.

5 comments about 5.8GHz Wireless Audio Video Sender 4 Channel Broadcast Transmitter & Receiver with Infrared Remote Control Extender.
- Sometimes the remote extender isnt as good as it should be, but the video and audio quality is great. Lets hope it last a few years
- Works great with Tivo. We transmit our Tivo signal using this system and after purchasing a few extra receivers we can now watch everything on our Tivo all over the house. We even take a receiver and small TV out on the deck in the summer so we can watch tivo everywhere with no need to buy an extra Tivo box or monthly subscription.
It's also important to remember that you can listen to the music saved on your computer through your main stereo system wirelessly as long as you have a Tivo connected. This allows us to stream music all over the house simultaneously. I highly recommend buying this system.
- I was hoping that this was going to be the solution for a difficult issue to address. Setup was a breeze and the product appeared to work as expected.
Here is my setup: TV is 9.5 feet in the air, sitting on ledge. Utilizing a large piece of furniture near the TV, I was able to position the receiver and transmiter within three feet of each other (yet still not in line of sight). I connected a DVD player to the transmitter, and receiver to the TV. DVD quality was great.
Pleased with my setup, took the ladder down and switched back to the TV (from Input 1). Much to my surprise, nothing on the TV station. Switched to the next station, fine, back two - fine. Then started flipping through and some worked, others didn't (if it was out - I was getting a blue screen - not static or interference).
Set the ladder back up and climbed up - went to a station that didn't work. If I moved the receiver around, a station would partially come in (but not even close to being good). So, I started troubleshooting:
1) Shut off the transmitter, nothing.
2) Unplugged all of the connections (minus power) from the receiver, nothing.
3) Moved the receiver 6 ft from the TV (still only plugged into power), nothing.
Not until after I unplugged the receiver (from power) did the stations immediately come back.
Also - there was bad interference when using the remote to change the TV stations and adjust the volume - large amounts of static when on any station (DVD mode - Input 1 as well).
I would give this a 5 if it didn't have this side effect. Even if it is my TV (which is only a couple of years old - a Sharp 27"), it isn't practical for me to purchase a new TV to address this issue. Its obvious that this receiver is putting off some sort of signal that the TV is really not happy with.
So I'm giving it a 2 and sending the unit back for refund. Really a shame, because I was really hoping this was going to work. This is not a practical solution for me, since I can't reach 9ft in the air to flip the power switch on the receiver. Concept is great - execution is poor (at least for me).
- I bought a separate unit for handling the remote control transmissions, so the problems with the units weak IR functionality are not relevant to my setup. I do take one star off for having to use a separate unit for the remote, but the A/V transmits clearly and dependably, right out of the box. The setup was way easier than many more expensive solutions I have worked with. Highly recommended.
- Great Unit at Great Price. Two items are needed to transmit and receive. One transmitter and one Receiver each at specific price. I bought both each at separate ocassion, but seller was great in expediting order at no additional charge. Items Work great. Thanks

5 comments about USB Power Adapter Y Cable.
- Even the portable drives I use may work fine from a standard cable, it's worth having this Y cable for when other drives need more power. I'll never be caught lacking of power for portable drives with my laptop. Good insurance.
- This product was bought to power our Western Digital Passport Storage Devices. We discovered that our laptop has enough power through one usb port, so we did not need it. We returned it to Amazon and was promptly refunded the amount of the purchase.
- Some hard disks are advertised as powered by single USB cable. Don't take it for granted. Works slower that way. Add this cable and power your HD.
- USB Power Adapter Y Cable
This is good to use as an extension for your WD USB cable as the cable provided is very short and can be used for many other things also.It can be easily transported in a case along with your hard drive so you have everything you need with you at all times.
Good value,good product.
- Bought this to use with a Western Digital 250GB USB drive. You will need it with some USB ports, like those on a monitor.
Works great.

5 comments about Samsung TR-500X3BX Adjustable 50-, 56- and 61-Inch DLP TV Stand.
- my samsung dvd/receiver pertrudes about two inches out of the front of the stand because it isn't deep enough. DirectTV DVR fits fine.
Very nice looking, sturdy enough.
- This is an excellent product. Fit my 50" DLP perfectly, put a Samsung Blu Ray Player, a HD DVD palyer, a Motorola cable box and a Wii underneath the cabinet and everything goes fine. Cable straps works wonder on organizing all my cables.
Instructions are kind of confusing and there is a missing instruction step between step 5 and 6. But at the end all are fine.
- Neat design. You can vary the width of the unit and the glass ledges are designed in such a way that they look fine with any width. It is a bit complicated to put together but is worth the effort - just follow the directions
- First let me talk about the stand it self. After the horror of receiving it in the condition it was in (see attached photo showing how I received it), it was fairly easily put together by a professional I hired (see why farther down) The stand itself is very stable for my 61 inch Samsong TV.
As Paul Harvey would say now the rest of the story:
When I first ordered the stand I also ordered a 61 in TV and a 5yr. warranty. This was a $2,000 plus purchase. The guy that took my order told me that this was a white glove delivery, which meant that everything would be put together and placed where I wanted it. At this time I explained that I was handicapped and would not be able to assemble the stand. He assured me that this would not be a problem, that because this was a white glove delivery. This was not the case I found out later that the items were coming separately and the stand would not be assembled. The stand arrived in a box that looked like it had been dragged behind the truck instead of in it.
I called Amazon and they only offered to replace it, since the man I hired to assemble it was here I had no choice but to let him assemble it or pay him for a service call and wait another 2 weeks for a stand that might not be in any better condition. I opted to let him put it together. The stand is very functional put has scratches and dents on it.
Amazon couldn't care less, a very nasty cold fish of a costumer
relations rep. Offered me a 20% discount which I had to accept, because I had run out of options. Shame on you AMAZON Shame on you.
Let the buyer beware.
- When you assemble this for the 61" TV, the glass shelves are short of each side by about 5", so the stand is not as sturdy as it might be when put together for the smaller TVs. I found it to be quite unsteady on carpet, so much so that I felt I HAD to strap the TV to the wall.
Also, the glass shelves come out farther than the wood like frame, so if you have children, it creates a safety concern. There is nothing protecting that extended glass.
The stand does look very nice with the black TV and it was fairly easy to assemble, it took me about 20 minutes do due alone (and I'm an old lady :-(.

5 comments about DLO Jam Jacket with Cord Management for the 80 GB iPod classic (Black).
- The description says, "Access to all iPod classic controls and dock connector." Well, that will be true if the only dock connector you use is the USB cord. If you have a device like the Belkin dock, and want to park your iPod to charge, and use the output to feed some other audio component, that's not going to happen. It WILL NOT fit on the dock with the jacket on it. I can see where this would be a good thing to have, if your iPod only goes from your computer to your pocket, but, for me, it's not so hot.
After a couple of weeks, I finally just had to give up using this. I found that, with the jacket on, the iPod wheel sometimes just stops working.
- The cover is great! It's soft to the touch and is not as bulky as I expected it to be. I appreciate that it has a specific place where I can wrap and store the cord, that way it doesn't get tangled where ever I store it. The only disadvantage to this product is that it doesn't have a screen protector. I think if you are considering this product you should go for it!
- I really wanted to like this case - it's nice-feeling, very functional, and I liked the earbud management - however, it kills the wheel's responsiveness. I completely lose all sensitivity between 3 and 6 o'clock on the wheel. The wheel works fine outside of the case. The hunt for the perfect case continues.
- One reason I like this ipod case is because you not only are protecting your ipod, which is like an investment but also you can manage the headphones cord which can become annoyningly tangled. As soon as my son saw it, he wanted one, so I had to buy another one for him. And the price was great.
- Really like this product..Not the usual silicon sleeve or hard case, love the design which makes it stand out from the usual..And I get lots of "where did you get that case from", which is always good.

5 comments about Power Sentry 5-Outlet PowerSquid Surge Suppressor.
- It was easy to use and less messy than the boxier versions I've previously owned.
- This works great for those really big transformers that need to be plugged in.
I have used it over and over and works great all the time!
- Can a power strip be sexy?
The PowerSquid is one of those inventions that works well and looks cool to boot. The idea of solving the wall wart problem seems so simple, and yet why did it take this long for something like this to come out at an affordable price?
The design coup for this item though is outer covering for its inner workings.
The designers could have housed all of the wires and breakers and connections in a black box, but this unit has these sexy curves that look and feel right. When you hang the item on the wall, cords flowing down, it looks like a squid - GENIUS!
I like it because it looks good, it does its job and its afordable. Very Cool!
- Although the PowerSquid looks like a prop from "War of the World" it is a great design for a PowerStrip/SurgeProtector. The construction is extremely sturdy since it is made of a very heavy rubber material. Wall worts will not be a problem with this design either.
The only problem I am having is finding a good permanent location to mount the long and bulky PowerSquid. I normally mount power strips to the inside or outside legs of my computer desk, but such a placement of this device would make it difficult to see the 3, slightly recessed, surge protector indicator lights. Now that I have my own PowerSquid I will be throwing my other powerstrips into the trash and buying a couple more of these monsters. I consider this a very good buy.
- I love this product...I have 3 in my house. It is great to get the plugs away from the wall when the outlet is in an inconvenient spot and great for lots of bulky power chargers! Also it has a surge suppressor...make sure to get the one with it, they also sell them without it.

5 comments about Curious George Goes Camping.
- All six of my children have loved Curious George books and I have to read them to them until they have memorized them. In this book George get in to mischief as usual but all ends up well in the end, of course.
- When the now iconic Man in the Big Yellow Hat warns Curious George,"now don't wander off and get into trouble," we know exactly what's about to happen instead (especially since he had already rushed off). Despite his good intentions, George adventures turn into misadventures: Dousing someone's campfire, getting lost with a galloping deer, and being sprayed by a skunk that George thought was a cat. As usual in these series (story by Margret Rey, with illustrations by a team in the style of the late H.A. Rey), George's curiosity also leads to some monkey heroics. He also learns how to get rid of skunk smell (a vat of tomato juice).
Given its forest setting, this is a somewhat quieter `George book,' but there are soft forest and animal drawings and enough action for the small ones. Curious George is now "a registered trademark of the Houghton Mifflin," but the company encourages young readers to look for the `original adventures about Curious George' by the Reys. 24 pages, with pencil and watercolor illustrations on each one.
- I read this as a child and think it is a classic. My own children have loved these books. Newer books aren't always better.
- I love all the curious George books. Who Doesn't?
author of "Hobo Finds A Home"
- Good book. It's one of the older George stories and drawings, not one of the newer George stories and drawings.
