3 comments about Case Logic True Sport Armband Case for 80/120/160 GB iPod classic 6G, iPod touch 1G, iPod touch 2G (Silver).
- I have tried three cases. One was too small; another was too difficult to strap on. When jogging you do not want to spend time pushing and arranging the music player into the case because it is such a snug fit. And wrapping the case around your arm can't take time either. Those are the two must haves for cases. Caselogic hits both without issue whereas the other cases failed.
Also the Caselogic case is not heavy, bulky and has a simple hole at the bottom to expose the headphone jack.
One of the generic issues with an iTouch is the ability to access volume and change tracks with jogging. No solve here you have to know where the home button to access volume and track selection.
Only caveat is the screen is not crystal clear-- so when viewing the iTouch screen there is a little glare-- but who looks at the screen while jogging?
- I am using this case with an iPod Touch 16GB and it works great. It feels very snug and I have no worries about the iPod falling out (like when it's inverted doing bench press). The headphone jack is accessible through a hole in the bottom so you can plug/unplug your headphones easily.
The iPod still registers touch through the screen on the case so don't worry about trying to touch the screen directly (I even wear this while I mow and I wear gloves and it still registers me touching it, although I do have to add a little pressure).
The strap is about 2" wide and very comfortable (stretchy neoprene) and is secured with a 2"x2" velcro end. So far, I have not had it come undone.
Lastly, there is a 3" piece of fabric that you can wrap your headphones around (you see it running vertical to the left of the main case in the product picture). This is great to keep just the right amount of headphone cable dangling so it doesn't constantly get in the way.
All in all, this is a great armband and would definitely recommend it.
- I bought this armband so that I could listen to my iPod comfortably while at the gym. I love it. A bit expensive, but perfect for its use.

5 comments about Samsung WEP500 Wireless Bluetooth Earpiece.
- In one line:
I lost more minutes just because of the dumb design, that if you keep it in your ear it falls off, and if u keep it in your pocket, redials everytime you move and your trousers accidentally press the delicate button
- this is a great little earpiece, small unique shape fits in ear, has different ear pieces to use ear hook or fit in ear. For the price you're getting a small size, noise cancelling, different ear pieces, charger, and it's a small sturdy device. I say sturdy because mine accidently went into the washer and dryer and still works fine. The only bad thing about it, which isn't really bad is that it's so small when you fit it into your ear, you can accidently hit the top button, on my phone which auto dials the last number called. Other then that, i would highly recommend it, for the price it's a steal. samsung had a 20 dollar rebate when i got it so it was about 10 bucks. I don't know how long the battery lasts, but i usually have it on all day, and it works fine till i get home and then charge it over night again.
- This product is the smaller bluetooth earpiece that I know. the Sound is perfect for listen and for who listening.
- It is OK. If one could turn off the auto re-dial, it would have gotten a 4. I would look at other models.
It does fit nicely.
Yet, sound is not great. Sometimes un-usable. The noise reduction doesn't seem to work well.
- I love the size and weight of this earpiece. I have had no problems with performance at all. It does fit in my ear. I ordered the Jabra ear gels because I thought they would help, but all the pieces were too big to fit into my ear so that was a waste of my money. But the ones that came with the headset work fine enough. The only gripes I have are the positioning of the button (as others have said it's easy to activate by mistake) and the size is pretty small, so I can imagine it being easy to lose. It's also fallen out of my ear a few times, so it can be a challenge to secure. I also have concerns about the recharging case that comes with it. If it breaks (it it's made of plastic so this could be pretty easy to do I think), then you're out of luck to charge the thing unless you can get a replacement from Samsung. All in all I'm pretty happy with it though. I just hope I don't lose it or it doesn't break.

5 comments about PATRIOT from Swiss Gear by Wenger Triple Gusset Rolling Computer Case w/ Removable Tote.
- Great price at about $75 as compared to others of similar quality. Yes, the handle can be a problem.. mine is not so far. Of the five units at work only one has the handle problem enough to mention. Note that Werner seems to make design changes over time. I am very happy with the bag but must point out that it doesn't really fit under the seat on a plane.
- My husband absolutely loves this bag. He frequently travels overnight for work, and the size of the briefcase is exactly what he needed. It's small enough to be a carry on for flights, but it has enough space for his laptop, work files, and a change of clothes. He brings it with him on every trip.
- I also had the handle go kaput. However, I contacted Wenger and got no response back. Have contacted them again... Still hoping for a response and replacement. Considering what I paid for this laptop bag, I expected it to last much longer and am very unhappy that I got less than 1 year out of it. I liked the bag very much which is why I gave it any stars. It has a lot of storage and is better than any other options I have seen, but is ridiculous to last this short a time for this price. This seller rips you off on shipping, too! $20 to ship a 5 pound bag? I bought it from the same seller a year ago and it was a rip off then. But like I said, it was the best option then. I would not buy it again.
- My husband and I travel internationally extensively, which means the laptops come with us. I bought the Patriot for him for Father's Day and liked it so much I bought one for myself. It has so many compartments, we have been able to eliminate a separate carry-on piece. That it is wheeled makes it Primo delux.
- Well, I have actually had this bag for 2 years. Over that time the handle has been a pain. Sometimes it extends and sometimes not. Try standing in the rain trying to battle a bag. The wheels also no longer turn properly. Finally a week ago the whole top portion of the handle snapped. It no longer is good for anything. I tried calling customer support. No luck. I would advise anyone out there against going through this. Stick with a smaller size of bag and obviously a different company.

5 comments about Creative Labs Vado Pocket Video Camcorder (Silver).
- I didn't think that I needed this camera when I got it, as my cellphone & my regular digital camera both take decent video, and I also have a MiniDV camera when I really want to make something nice. But it sounded convenient and easy to use.
For the most part, that is true. Taking a video is easy, with only buttons that you can operate with one hand if necessary. The camera also has a built in USB connector, so you can plug it straight into your computer. The 2GB of included memory is more than enough at the resolution the camera uses.
The form factor is the nicest part, as it easily slips into your pocket. It is very lightweight, and I even put it in my back pocket and sat on it by accident, without any apparent damage.
The biggest problem is the video quality. It is good in a well lit situation, but anything beyond a very bright room or daylight will start to be a problem. Also, the resolution is low enough that it will not look very good when played on a TV, or full screen on a computer. But, for Youtube, it is enough. My only real problem with the video is that it automatically splits everything into individual clips. I would have liked an option to add onto the previous clip, so that it would be possible to do in-camera editing.
All in all, if you want a easy to cary and easy to use camera for making videos that will look good on Youtube, this is a great buy. If you want home movies that will persevere for generations, look elsewhere.
- I purchased this as a gift for a business associate and I had planned to buy a pile more to create some low budget video fun. Sadly, the Vado was better in theory than in reality. The video was super fuzzy and seemed out of focus. My associate and I played with it for a couple days trying to get the video to be in focus but we never got it to look right. I bought a Flip and it worked great. Sadly the Flip used AA batteries and was more expensive but at least the video was in focus.....
- After reading reviews, I decided on this camera for my classroom. It's cool and ever-so-easy to use. Being a Mac user, I needed to use Quicktime to view my movies. Working on several different operating systems between school and home, I initially had problems. I found an application, ViddyUp to put my video in a format that moved between computers and between my Quicktime and iMovie. I'm entirely satisfied with the portability, quality, and ease of using this movie camera.... and it's soooo inexpensive!
- It's a great little video camera, it would be a great little camera if it was also had Mac based soft wear.
- Its specs have been exhaustively reviewed here already, so I won't go into all of that. You take it out of the box, turn it on, press the record button. To upload, you connect the onbooard usb to your computer, the onboard sw starts up and then you click on whatever video you want to upload to YouTube, PhotoBucket, or Box.net without fuss and not much thinking. This device sits between a bonafide camcorder/camera and phone camera/camcorder. It's small and light like a phone cam but delivers much better video then any phone cam I own.
Little things that stick out to me are the rubberized coating on the case which gives a decent grip. The short usb cable was clearly designed to connect to a laptop or a usb port on a keyboard. It's somewhat disconcerting to see the camera dangling from the usb port on my desktop pc. The uploading sw is on the device itself which is handy - no need to download client software to different pc's - just connect and upload. Of course, in true Creative fashion, you can also navigate to the device in My Computer and open the video folder and drag the contents out to wherever. The on/off switch is thin and requires a push, but then again that keeps it from getting turned on accidentally.
All in all a device that does what it is suppose to do well and at a very competitive price.

5 comments about 6ft VGA to 3 RCA component video cable (HD15 - 3-RCA).
- I purchased this cable to go from my HDTV cable box component outputs to the VGA input on my ViewSonic projector. It works perfectly and is a definite improvement over the S-Video cable I was using. Shipping was fast and the cable is well made & sturdy. I would definitely buy from this company again!
- This cable is RGB not component video. The reviewer that stated the pigtails were not shielded was mistaken, they are. If you are trying to connect AV equipment to a computer monitor this is not the cable. If you have a home theater computer with separate Red Green and Blue outputs and your monitor has a VGA input this is the cable you need.
- I bought this cable to plug into my 22" computer moniter so that i could use it as a TV. Unfortunately, it does not convert component video to VGA. However, it does work the other way for those few HDTV's that do not accept VGA inputs
- we needed a cable to connect our dvd player to an lcd projector over vga...worked great.
- I bought this cable to connect my PC to a TV with Color Stream (DVD) component input. It didn't work, but I don't know if it was the Color Stream input not matching up with the component output or if the cable didn't work.

5 comments about OmniMount TRIA Adjustable 3 Shelf Wall System w/ Cable Management.
- I needed something to get my electronics out of the reach of my toddler. This unit mounted easily to the wall next to my TV. Mounts right to a stud so holds very securely. Shelves have a gloss side and a matte side and everything seems to be designed and constructed very well. As others have said, wire covers are a bit tricky. Enough room for my wires but hard to get them tucked in and then snap the covers on.
My only compaint is that two products that OmniMount sells that are designed to be used together...don't match! Since the wires don't magically go away after you tuck them in, some hang out the bottom, I needed something too hide those wires too. Specifically the HDMI cable that goes to my TV and ALL of the power cords. OmniMount has a separate "Wall Cable Management Kit - Model CMK" that matches the wire cover pieces of this shelf system except for one little thing...it's a different color!! The TRIA is mostly charcoal grey with a bit of silver sparkle. The CMK only comes in white with a rough texture designed to be paintable. I even went to Sherwin-Williams to see if they could match it but no luck. I ended up painting the bottom section of the TRIA's cable covers and all of the CMK pieces black and it all looks good. The CMK has a 90ยบ elbow and three straight sections. This allowed me to turn at the bottom of the TRIA and run the rest of the wires out of sight behind my TV.
- This actually works great for us. Even with a bunch of cords. We mounted a power strip behind our TV (one cord going down) then have a DVD player, Dirctv box, WII, Playstation 3,and a charger for the WII remotes. So thats 5 power cords going up towards the tv, AV cords for the WII,3 HDMI cables and 2 cable cords for the directv. It was a lot of work getting those cords up and placed and still being able to put the slats on to cover them. For anyone getting this mount, I suggest evening out the cords so you have the same amount on each side, then bundling them together (we used that blue painters tape). That way when you place the slats you can keep them all together. We just bundled them ever couple of inches where it would be hidden by the slats. Have someone help you when you put the slats on, so that you have an extra pair of hands holding the cords in place while you put on the slats. And dont get your cords tangled up, it sucks to do that and have to start over.
- I think the end result looks pretty good. The instructions for how to put it together were horrible, so you basically have to just look at the pics and figure it out on your own. Then there was a broken plastic part; one of the black pieces that go down the middle. The shipping for it was so horrible and i'm sure thats why it came with the broken (crushed) piece. They sent it in a super huge box, with only some paper to keep the box inside (with the actual unit), from rolling all around. But all in all, for the price i paid, i can't complain. And when i called for a replacement part, i had it in a week. Looks good and keeps everything looking clean and neat.
- The product is pretty much as described, it assembeled easily. But the
Wire management was not thought through by the designer. I had to hide
The wires in the wall. The final result is perfect, they just need to
Explain that unless you only have two tiny wires, you will have to find somewhere
Else to hide the wires. I also bought a single tria shelf and combined them to make a 4 shelf system.
- Our old TV went out on us. My wife and I decided to start up grading our home theater system, we started with a 42" plasma screen TV, a full motion wall mount and the OmniMount TRIA shelves. Now the entertainment center is gone and everything is on the wall.
The directions are a little confusing and some instructions are missing. Once you figure the installation out it's a breeze. One tip is secure all of your wires and have them placed were you want them before attempting to snap on the covers. I used the small zip ties to cut down on the space behind the covers. I had take the covers off several times before I got the wires were I wanted them. All in all it's a great product and it cleared up a lot of floor space for our toddler to play. She also can't find the wires to pull the components off the shelves.

5 comments about Monster Cable PowerCenter HTS 2000 MKII.
- Works well, however, the first one I received did not work properly (4 outlets didn't work). Amazon replaced, at no cost, with a replacement which seems to work fine.
I may not have the proper ear, but I wouldn't swear that it makes my HDTV sound better, but I simply bought it for voltage protection.
- To be very honest I'm not that sure there's that much improvement in the overall "Clean Power" aspect. However it was clearly demonstrated when my wife was vacuuming & there was no interference in the video signal. That alone proved to me that there was a diference. However the reason I bought this product is because it is one of only two that I know of in this price range that can take a surge & reset. Of all the power surge protectors I've researched in this price range, this & the MK 1000, also by Monster, are the only two I've found that I know of that do not become useless after one jolt. I have not found any cheaper products that provide protection after a single event. That includes some of the more expensive shelf products from this company & Panamax unless your willing to spend $400 plus. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
- I decided to buy two more of these because of Monster's unparalleled warranty support. I have had two different units replaced, years after purchase, for free! To pay more up front but have a true lifetime warranty that is quick and easy to use is worth every penny.
- This Monster Cable Power Center is excellent. Very reasonable pricing. Don't miss your chance to get one.
- Very happy with the product. Everything as advertised. Great value from Amazon as the Amazon price was approx. 40% lower than the local Nebraska Furniture Mart price.

5 comments about Maximo iP-HS2 iMetal Isolation Headset for iPhone (Black/Silver).
- Good value for money - iPhone stock headphones cost you $30. If you lost them or need upgrade, I think these are best bang for buck.
They fit better and the noise isolation is very very good.
Sound quality is very good - it's not bass heavy though.
I think other reviewers are unnecessarily giving poor rating, they are worth 4 stars.
I don't know the build quality, as I am using them only for 2 days
- I wanted to like these headphones and I tried everything to no avail. The title to this review summarizes these headphones. That said, let me start with what I did like:
Pros:
-Good design, the mic is on the left side, so you never have to wonder which side is right, and which is left.
-The mic is separated from the answer button, this is great as it keeps the mic small so you don't have a large piece of plastic hanging off your ear.
-Very stylish and sturdy (though I didn't care for the carry bag much).
-Stop/Next/Answer button works perfectly.
-Cord extension is great.
So far so good. Now for the one con: audio quality. The bass is non-existent. I have owned canal earphones before and I know what a good seal feels like (so fit was not an issue). I also tried all three silicone pieces before settling on the mid-sized piece.
I also burned the headphones in overnight as maximo recommends, but still mediocre bass.
I also tried setting the EQ on my iPhone to "Loudness", but that did not help. I'm not a bass head, but I do like solid bass response and was quite disappointed.
Outside of the bass issue, i also found that there was focus on mid range without great highs (i wonder if this is to emphasize audio conversations, but I can't say for sure.
Finally, the design of the silicone eartips doesn't not create a good seal. You may have a different experience with your ear, so take that with a grain of salt.
My last set of headphones was made by skull-candy and i found the earpieces there to be much better.
In the end, I sent them back and am looking at ultimatebuds fs1.
- Do Not Buy this product. Sound quality is worse than the stock iPod headphone I was wanting to replace.
- The left ear bud didn't function out of the box. Enough said.
I read the positive and negative reviews before purchasing and wish I had given more credence to the negative reviews. Combined with the very annoying "i" name, I'm left muttering "I should have known better" as I RMA these back to the good folks at Amazon.
- I bought these to replace the stock headphones cause I can't stand normal earbud headphones, way to much outside noise, and constantly fall out of my ears. I normally use Etymotics with my other mp3/video player, and I love them... but didn't want to spend $180 to get their iPhone earphones when i've already bought the 6i's. So I read some review on these and things sounded good to me... so I ordered them.
They fit my ears well enough, not as good as the etymotics but even though they don't feel as tight as the Ety's, they block the outside sound well and don't fall out. They're actually more comfortable to wear for longer periods compared to the Ety's.
As for the sound, I think they sound good... not great... but good. I had to turn on the bass boost on the iPhone when using the Ety's, but for these I had to turn it off because it was just too much bass... got quite muddy on some songs.
My problem though to this point has been the button. About half the time I plug it into my iPHone it just flat out doesn't work. I can't pause/start/skip songs, can't answer calls, and even if I do manually answer a call, the mic doesn't work. I pull them out and put in the iPhone's stock headphones and they work no problem so I know it's not my iPhone. Sometimes after plugging in the iPhone's stocks, then taking them out and putting back in the Maximos, it suddenly works. Sometimes just pulling out the Maximo's and putting them back in sorta resets it. Other times nothing works and I have to actually hard reboot the iPhone to get them to work. I don't know what else to do...
I've been scouring the web today looking for others with the same issues but I can't find anyone so I think I might have some bad phones. So take this for what it's worth, but I don't know that i'd recommend these with 100% certaintity.

5 comments about Apple Ipod mp3 Car Audio Tape Cassette Adapter.
- This tape deck just kept automatically ejecting when I got it. I thankfully managed to use it as scrap to fix my broken cassette adapter. I would only buy this item if you want to spare part the cord from it.
- We had a Coby before this particular player. We usually have good luck with the Coby products but not the cassette adaptor we bought. We got this one so my wife could listen to her iPod in the car. This one has outlasted the Coby and really has taken a pretty good beating because of the heat in S. Florida vehicles during the summer. I am pleasantly surprised with its performance, and for the money you can't beat this one.
- Even though its only a few bucks, don't waste your money. You get what you pay for. I took a chance and thought it would be 1/2 decent at least. Well, it wasn't. It works for the 1st 5 seconds you put it in then ejects itself.
- The average price of these 'tape converters' is usually ridiculously high for something with a very high percentage of breaking.
This is still working for me, and for the price, is definitely worth every penny.
- This item went on back-order right after I ordered it. It took 3 weeks to receive it and when I did get it, it didn't work. Because I wanted to have one for a long car trip, I had to go spend $20 on one at Radio Shack because this one that I ordered did not work and arrived WAY too late.
