5 comments about SANDISK SANSA Premium Black Travel Wall A/C Charger for SanDisk Sansa c100 / c200 / e200 Series.
  1. Works as advertised, no problems, try buying one of these at a brick and mortar store for the incredible price that I paid.

  2. This charger handles both 120V/240V, which may save frequent travelers an outlet on their transformer. Other than that, there's not much to be said; it does exactly what it claims to do.

  3. Standard AC adapter. There's an LED to indicate that the adapter is plugged in (no charging status indicator). For the price, definitely pick up a few of these for your travels.

  4. Does exactly what it says it will, and for 70 cents you just can't go wrong. 5 stars.

  5. I bought this charger with my Sansa e250 when I learned that you can't play music while plugged into a computer. This charger works perfectly. It's small (I can easily fit it into my pocket) and it charges much faster than when I connect to a PC.

The only "minor annoyance" that I had was the fact that I received a "Generic Replacement Model" instead of the model pictured. There's no brand names or logos pointing to who made it, but at such a cheap price I won't complain... much.

  1. It had weird leather odour in the begining, but its fine now. Its worth the money I have spent on it.
The case is really stiff and fit in well. But the screen protector didnt work properly.

  2. When you are traveling without a computer and want to keep your iPod charged up, this works great. Simple to use and charges up an iPod quickly.

  3. This item cause damage in my ipodtouch dock conector. I think the size of the connector is bigger than the ipodtouch slot.

  4. After waiting for over a week to get this, I find out it's for an iPod that's not even made any more! I guess you get what you pay for .. not worth shipping to send it back but I am still disappointed! My "bargain of the century" turned out to be a burn!

  5. I saw the bad reviews and decided to order and take my chances. Shipping was 300% more than the price of the product. Right out of the box it does not work. Don't buy this. I'm not even going through the hassle of returning it. It's going to the trash.

  1. It's cheap, looks cheap, feels cheap, but seems to work just fine. Shipping seemed to take a little while. That's my only problem with it.

  2. "Very good item although a little cheap like it at least works and I recieved it on time."

  3. i was gonna buy 50 of this chargers!its not fair that they charge me 100$ for delivery!maybe they should consider for some discount opn the delivery for someone who is ordering 50 chargers.....not fair at all!

  4. Item does what it is supposed to do. No problem keeping the ipod plugged in while driving and listening.

  5. I didn't receive the item pictured. The part I did receive actually makes my 3rd gen. ipod play music garbled after around 30 seconds of playback. The product is junk (whichever product it is that I DID receive), and the company untrustworthy. Don't waste your time or money with either.

5 comments about Next Generation Remote Control Extender.
  1. I have set up numerous complicated, convoluted A/V setups in the past trying to get similar performance out of much more expensive hardware. This thing is the coolest ever. Way better than an IR transmitter, this thing can transmit a signal from anywhere, regardless of where you're pointing it. Putting the transmitter inside the battery case is the coolest idea too.

  2. This little UFO looking gizmo fills a niche for those who want to convert just about any remote control from IR to RF. Doing that allows it to go through walls and be able to go from one room to another. It does this by using a smaller battery combined with a tiny transmitter in a shell the size of a AAA cell. (an adapter shell is included for devices using AA cells. When you press the buttons on your remote, the battery/transmitter cell sends a signal to the UFO looking receiver which can be in the basement, another room, etc.
I use it to control a new digital to analog converter box (for off air reception of new digital channels) that is in my basement. The converter box feeds two tvs upstairs via RG6 (typical cable tv wire). Since it is unlikely both tvs are used at the same time, this allows me to just deal with one converter box for both and simplifies wiring. (antenna just goes to the converter box).
If you just need through the wall or floor remote conversion from IR to RF for one room - then I would suggest just getting the type of remote extender that has two units as they are more powerful. (like the Terk Technologies LF-IRX) ( you point your existing IR remote at relay unit which converts the signal to RF and transmits to a receiver. This method has a better range as the transmitter is more powerful. With the Terk type system, however you will need to put a receiver in each room you plan on using the remote.
All in all, this Next generation unit is a good value for the price and does work but its not real strong, and I find I have to wave the remote around or move about in one room to get it to receive the signal(since I don't use that tv much, its only a minor inconvenience). I plan on moving the location of the receiver and seeing if that helps. Also the charge on the batteries (since they are small) doesn't last a real long time, but they give you two so you can always have one ready.

  3. I have the product setup now and it works great. The minor downside is the documentation. It is sparse and some of the points get lost in translation. Normally I never worry about the documentation since I don't use it. However, in this case I had some problems getting it to work at first. What it turns out to be is that if you are using the main dome to re-transmit your IR signal then it needs to have a minumum physical seperation from the device it is controlling. The unit also comes with a IR cable with an emitter that can be fixed to the front of the device. Using this the unit works perfectly.

It's a great solution. The best feature is that with the transmitter housed in a regular battery and the receiver's use of radio waves it is all discreetly hidden away so you don't have to see any devices.

    Great value for money.

  4. This works exactely as described! I am very happy with it. Charge the battery before first use. The IR remote will work without a full charge, but the RF transmitter won't ....

  5. WORKED LIKE A CHARM. HAVE IT HIDDEN IN A BOX WITH MY EQUIPMENT OUT OF LINE OF SIGHT FROM THE REMOTES AND HAVEN'T HAD A GLITCH YET. GET IT!!

5 comments about Motorola 484095-001-00 Signal Booster.
  1. I have Comcast Digital Cable in two rooms. The farthest room was not getting all the HD channels. I would get the "One Moment Please" prompt on the television. Comcast had told me that the message is due to a weak signal and would have to send a technician out to look at the problem. She instructed me that in most cases, I would have to purchase a signal booster from Comcast. After reading all the reviews online, I decided to purchase this booster and skip the hassle of having a technician come to the house. This was THE solution. I now get all HD channels in the previously troubled room and ON Demand now works without any pixel freezes. I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase. I actually installed the booster to the cable box I was having issues with and it worked like a charm without any problems to the other cable box.

  2. The Motorola Signal Booster was a major disappointment. The main reason I bought this product is because I wanted to have a much better cable signal for our two TV sets. However, as I found out the hard way, this product does not boost the signal at all. I've tried the recommendations/instructions of several reviewers but just the same, it does not work as advertised. The only configuration that showed very little improvement was when I connected the Motorola booster in one of the outputs of my AR 2.5GHz 2-way video splitter. If I connect it before the splitter, it just mess up the signal. This is one product I regret buying. It's a total waste of money.

  3. I bought the Motorola 484095-001-00 Signal Booster to boost the signal to the TV, 110 feet from the antenna splitter. Without the booster, the digital over-the-air signals were so bad that they either were a blue screen or were flickering with pixel loss. I got the Motorola 484095-001-00 Signal Booster and found it very easy to install, only minutes, and the signals were boosted so that all the channels came in clear. This product works as advertised and I highly recommend it.

  4. I bought this to connect my broadband internet and 2 HDTVs and I am amazed! A++++ (wait this isnt ebay) oh well A++++++. I also bought the Ultralink PLATINUM Series Videophile Pro-3 2GHz 3-Way Signal Splitter and they both work great in unison. I would recommend this to anyone experiencing signal problems.
Thanks Amazon.com if we were in jail together I'd protect you in the shower :)

  5. I live in an 18 unit building with an shared antenna; the reception has always been of borderline quality. After getting a television capable of receiving digital broadcast, I had decided I'd have to get cable, as I was unable to receive many of the digital stations.
This signal booster has eliminated the need for cable - pulls in every station available in my area(both Los Angeles and Orange counties), all sharp and clear. This far exceeded my expectations.

  1. I bought this to connect my PS3 to my monitor it works perfectly the HD looks so nice, but If you need it for what I used it for buy a Y:adapter as well with it to give audio by putting your gaming systems A/V cables in it(the original TV cables that came with the system to connect it to your TV.) and then putting the Headphone jack into the little microphone symboled plug hole on your computer or speakers. Also check if your monitor has HDCP and of course a DVI slot in the back.It arrived on time and Im happy.

  2. I used this to connect the HDMI:out of my DVD player to the DVD-D:in of my computer LCD monitor. Then hooked speakers RCA connect from my DVD player.

Result: I get to watch DVDs in the bedroom on my $160 widescreen 22" LCD monitor, without having to spend money on an LCDTV.

So I consider my $6 "investment" for the cable that provided me this ability to be definite winner for BARGAIN of the month! =)

  3. I used this cable to connect a new desktop computer to a 42" HD LCD TV. Of course you don't get all the advantages of HDMI (since it is not HDMI on both ends) but it supplied a crystal clear digital picture of my desktop and Blue-ray playback.

  4. After finding nothing but 50$ cables like this one in retail stores, it was a relief to find this. Works great, absolutely no problems.

  5. I Bought this DVI-to HDMI cord to connect my PS3 to my Acer P221W computer monitor. It works Great and the only thing that I had to do was set up the resoloution in the PS3's setup on the XMB. Cool

  1. My USB stopped working on the front of my computer so had to use back slot. Very inconvienent so I purchased this cable. It was shipped quickly and attached very easily. Works great!! Give me the ease of use I was looking for. I would recommend this product to anyone.

  2. This cable did exactly what I wanted it to do. The length is just right. I plan on ordering another one for my desk computer and one for my husband's computer at work. I should have gotten three while I was ordering the first time, but you never know if the item will be what you expect. This one was.

  3. I bought this cable to use with my Flip Mino video camera. Plugging the camcorder into the USB port on my laptop and watching the camera's weight be supported by just the USB connector made me extremely nervous. It just didn't seem natural to have the weight of the camera supported that way. But this cable saved the day!! Plug this cable into the USB port on your computer, then plug your Flip video camera into the cable, and voila!! You can now place the camera safely on a desk, table, couch, or any other stable surface. And there's no stress at all put on the USB connector on the camera. I feel much safer and think my Flip Mino will last a lot longer now that I have this cable. I can't imagine owning a Flip video camera without this cable. Highly recommended!!!

  4. I think I paid a dollar fifty for this although the shipping was about five bucks. No complaints. I mean really, it's just a cable but I remember when cables like this cost thirty dollars. Am I old or what?

  5. For a few dollars more, this was perfect for my wife's iMac (matched the colors, which is all important).

Functions as you'd expect, without paying $30/ea at your local Radio Shack or Best Buy for the "gold plated" (no joke) ones.

5 comments about JBuds Hi-Fi Noise-Reducing Ear Buds (White).
  1. I received these headphones as a gift in December 2007. These headphones have a great sound - crisp with lots of bass - and they block outside noise very well - but the wires in the plug eventually became loose, and though for a few days I was able to "jiggle" the cable to get sound, they eventually quit completely. I was disappointed when they stopped working, since I did like the sound. I'm pretty cognizant of not "pinching" the cable when I would wrap my headphones up around my iPod, so as to not put any extra stress on that point. While I can't say I was rough with the headphones, I can't say I was most gentle with them, either (used for commuting, walking, working out, etc.). They quit in June 2008.

I was going to buy a second pair of these, but I decided to try the Coby headphones - after all, six bucks is worth a try - and I have to say that the Coby headphones have the same quality of sound and noise-canceling ability. I'm not an audiophile by any standard, and my hearing is about average, so if you're trying to decide between the jBuds and the Cobys, go with the Cobys. If you need the different size silicone earbuds (I lost four out of six due to my "throw in the bag / pocket / gym bag" treatment),

  2. I've worn these type of ear buds before and was used to how the old ones fit in my ear. These keep falling out, even trying each of the three rubber discs that come w/the buds. What's more, apparently there seems to be a wiring issue because one of buds "cuts out" on a regular basis. I'll definitely go back to a Sony product next time. These weren't worth the money.

  3. These are the best earbuds I have ever used.
I can totally screen out the outside noise and ignore the phone if I want.
    GREAT!

  4. I just received these ear buds and I am quite disappointed. I do not expect these to last very long at all. The sound is not the problem for me, it's just that it seems to be of poor quality materials. The cord itself is very, very thin so it's already apparent that the wiring is not very well protected. When I put the plug into my iPod if I even slightly twist the plug while it is in the jack I will get a lot of static. Not worth $20.

  5. i like these, they are good ear buds. i use them nearly EveryDay on my ipod. the sound is good, and they hold up nicely. ive only had to replace them once and that aint bad considering how much i use them. ive bought several different kinds of buds and so far these are best value ive seen for 20 dollars. if ever they need replaced i gladly buy them again

5 comments about Nylon 336-Disc CD Wallet (Black).
  1. This is a nice looking, sturdy CD wallet that holds ALL my DVD's. Polished looking enough to keep out on the coffee table or next to the HDTV.

The only problem with this is that the pages are not attached 'binder-style' but instead are attached with a kind of double belt, so if you want to take a single page of CD's out from the middle of the wallet, it will take you an extra minute or two to get it out and then slide the belt through the rest of the pages again.

    Overall recommended.

  2. This is a durable product that does what you want it to do. My only complaint is that there is difficulty sliding the covers of the CDs in the slots. I wish it was just slightly larger.

  3. Holds up amazingly. I have had this for over a year and it does the job. Has been dropped, borrowed, soaked many times and protects perfectly. Backing does not scratch CDs.

  4. This CD case is well made. My case came with a bonus case that held about a dozen more. The pages remove for easy sorting.

  5. I just moved into a space that was about 400 feet smaller than the one I previously had (2BD to 1BD), and was initially overwhelmed by how crowded my new apartment was. A friend told me she tossed out all of her CD cases a few years ago and transferred them to a wallet like this one. She said it gave her more room instantaneously. I thought it over and realized she was right. Further, I rarely look at liner notes nowadays as I download everything so I went out and purchased the 336 at a big box store. I wish I hadn't as I seriously overpaid for it. I would have been wise to pick it up on amazon (honestly). Other than my getting taken for 20 bucks I have no complaints. It opened up my home considerably and I'm glad to no longer be a prisoner of containers. As far as quality goes, this model appears durable, but, then again, I don't intend on carrying it around with me places.

5 comments about Verbatim DVD+R DL 8.5GB 2.4X 20pk Spindle.
  1. I was quite concerned about finding a DVD +R DL that would work. Most reviews pointed to these Verbatims. So far, so good. Interestingly, went to purchase more and the price had gone up 10%. So I guess I'll wait and monitor the pricing for a better deal. The one package I have purchased so far seems to work well.

  2. I was fortunate enough to receive MIS instead of MII, it is unbelievable how good these DVDs really are. All other brands I've purchased before gave errors on the second layer, but not with these. 20 out of 20.

  3. In the past year, I've burned dozens of cakeboxes of Verbatim DLs sold in purple shrink wrap. In my experience, it doesn't matter where the discs are made - India, Singapore or Timbuktu: some of the cakeboxes give me good burns and some of them don't, and there's no way I can predict the outcome of the burns by looking at the package. That's why I think it's a crap shoot.

I've had cakeboxes of discs made in India that rendered excellent C1 and C2 scores and provided superb video reproduction. I've had cakeboxes made in Singapore that rendered terrible C1 and C2 scores and provided grainy, blotchy video reproduction. And vice versa.

I get fewer coasters from a cakebox of Verbatim DLs in the purple shrink wrap than I get from competing brands.

Given the erratic quality control of these Verbatim DLs, I think they're overpriced.

  4. Not all DVD media is created equal. There are many trusted names out there that outsource where they can have their media made cheaply and their product suffers for it. (A good general rule of thumb, stay away from ANY media made from Taiwan and Hong Kong.) And while some cheap media may work for you, it's a gamble that often loses. It is generally agreed among those in the know, Verbatim is one of the most reliable DVD media's around.

After I toyed with cheaper media - and lost some irretrievable memories set down on inferior brands (now coasters), a good friend steered me to Verbatim. I tried it and I have never looked back.

The secret behind the recording quality of Verbatim's DVD media? -- Verbatim's parent company, Mitsubishi Chemical. Mitsubishi is one of the largest chemical companies in the world, and they take the manufacturing of Verbatim DVD-R media very seriously.

Verbatim is also the leader in the production of DVD+R Dual Layer media. No other manufacturer has anything comparable to Verbatim's Dual Layer DVD. Verbatim's Inkjet and Thermal Dual Layer is not only the standard, but really the only viable option in DL media.

Great disc for anyone serious about DVD burning.

  5. I use this product to record TV programs (mostly sporting events) from my DirectTV DVR, where I save until I'm ready to transfer them onto DVD. I need to be ultra picky about quality because these recorded images will forever more be projected onto a 92" screen (which exposes any & all flaws to the max). My objective, then, is to achieve superior playback of programming having run times of more than of 2 hours each.

So far, I've gone through an entire 20-DVD spindle with zip, nada, zero defects.

Previously, for programs having run times of less than 2 hours, I'd been tempted to use single-layer blank DVD's, but at only $1.40 per blank Verbatim DVD, why risk or settle for inferior quality? A no brainer in my book.
