- I was so pleased to find these headphones! My twin girls discovered our old discmans (discmen?) a couple months before they turned nine. We were always worried about how high the volume was. These headphones don't allow the volume to go beyond a certain decibel. They also fit very nicely on their heads. Up until these headphones, they wanted to wear earbuds because the bigger headphones weren't comfortable.
In one of the descriptions I read about these headphones, it made me think that you could manually control the volume with the headphones. This is not the case, but it doesn't really matter. The one downside for us is that we can hear what they are listening to even when the volume is low. I don't mind this as much as my husband.
Overall, if you are going to let your kids use headphones, I highly recommend these!
- I was looking for headphones for my 7 year old granddaughter to use with her MP3 player or Portable DVD player. Kids this age find it hard to use ear buds. I shopped around in many stores but could not find what I wanted. These are great !!!!! Fit just right for those smaller heads, Sound just loud enough for young ears. I would recommend these to anyone looking for headphones for that young music or video lover.
- Bought this product recently for my third grader. Controls volume as advertised, though I still ask him to keep the volume below the max on his MP3 player. Unfortunately, the cord is not properly bonded to the miniplug, so only the wire is holding it together. I expect it to break entirely soon. It is clearly a manufacturing defect, not wear. Since these are not expensive enough to hassle with a return, I will try some glue. Generally, I expect better quality control from Sony.

5 comments about Philips PH61071 Component-Video Cable (6 Feet).
- I bought these cables to upgrade from my previous no name very cheap one, to see if i would get better quqlity. The truth be told, there was no diffrence but im using it anyway, after all, brand name sometimes gives u peace of mind. The Cable is very reasonable priced, dosent look to appealing but it does the job....
- Not a whole lot to say about a cable. It works like it's supposed to, and the picture quality looks good.
- I bought this product to enhance the picture of my HDTV. I have compared it against my HDMI and the pictures look very similar. The picture is far better than with AV cables. It's well worth the money.
- These cables are at a great price and you cant tell the difference between these or the expensive monster cables. Highly recommended.
- because of the good review, i ended up buying this cable and im glad i did. cheap price but very good quality. if only it also has the audio cables to go with it, it would have been perfect.

4 comments about Belkin F8V308-06 6-Feet Gold Plated S-Video Cable.
- Recently Purchased this cable, reason for buying this cable is that I already had a S-Vedio Cable but was very sensitive to twist and turns, most of the time the old vedio cable use to send in black and white images which was absured. After a long research I went with Belkin's S-Vedio cable.
Plus
------
Easy to fix.
Not very sensitive , less twist and turns
High resistance
Minus
-----
lenght could have been better
Other than this one Minus I guess its one of the best cables to buy
- Very nice. Used to distribute the video signal from my cable TV to my LCD tv. Works great for a very reasonable price. Recommended.
- It's a great product... Much better than the last S video cable I've been using. I upgraded for my new High Def TV and the picture quality has improved tremendously with the new cable.
- Use it for connecting my laptop to TV or DVD player to TV (till i get an HDMI for that). It works and the cable is thick & sturdy. you might get a cheaper cable at Amazon from other sellers, but then you have to pay shipping. So, if you are getting free shipping on this from Amazon (throgh Prime or total order price higher than 25) then better buy this one. Belkin is known for good products.

5 comments about Portable Sound Lab 06BWB01 Handheld Speakers for your iPod (Black).
- I would like it better if it could charge my Ipod at the same time that it played it. If the batteries lasted longer and if it had an adapter so I sould plug it into a wall. It would also be nice if there was a gauge to let me know the batteries were getting low so I wouldn't have to guess or have the music start to sound distorted.
- Great sound comes from this compact little system. Your ipod fits on one side and can be adjusted thru the clear plastic front of the speakers. It fits snuggly and securely with the help of the foam strips and velcro strap. We've taken it camping and also just on the backyard deck. I've got to download more songs on my ipod as we use it more and more often. Great price too.
- This is a great product. I can put my ipod inside, put it in my purse and go, that simple. Sure wish I had found this sooner. It will come in handy on future vacations.
- These speakers are amazingly great for their size. They're certainly not Bose quality, but the sound vs. size is wonderful. The only drawback I see is that the Ipod Touch does not fit in the unit. The Ipod Classic is the largest sized Ipod that will fit.
- I purchased the Sound Lab for a teenagers birthday present. She was overjoyed with the performace. The volume and clarity is great. Had the table top vibrating like crazy. The case appears to be very durable. Easy to use. A must for the active i-pod teenager. Or just anyone who is active.

4 comments about Samsung Waste Toner Collector (CLP-W300A).
- You know, waste toner collectors may come and waste toner collectors may go, but in my ever-so-humble opinion, this Samsung Waste Toner Collector collects waste toner better than any other waste toner collector I have ever seen collect waste toner. The packaging is inviting yet functional, the box-opening experience rivals any other waste toner collector box-opening experience out there, and since its installation I have not seen even a teaspoon of waste toner spilling out onto the table and turning my fingers magenta, yellow, or even cyan. Thank you, Samsung. Thank you.
- The page does a poor job of describing what this item is and does.
I just bought a Samsung CLP-300 printer, and read in the manual about the Samsung Waste Toner Collector (CLP-W300A) and what it does.
One of these (the collector) comes with a new CLP-300 series printer. This is a bottle that fills as you print, with toner that is taken from the toner cartridge cylinders, but not used during the printing process. Samsung seems to have had a good idea doing it this way rather than having it accumulate in some inaccessible space within the unit.
The Toner Collector also has what appears to be an optical port on the side (most likely to enable the printer to tell when it is full).
The documentation that comes with the printer specifies the Toner Collector needs to be replaced when full, which (it seems) they expect after printing between 1250 and 5000 pages (at 5% saturation for color and B/W print, respectively). Failure to replace A FULL Waste Toner Collector results in stoppage of printing.
I don't see any reason not to simply dump the toner and clean out the supplied collector when it gets full, except that that could turn out to be a messy job, and it may be simpler to plunk down the 10-15 bucks to just buy a new one.
In summary: this Waste Toner Collector is an internal part of the Samsung CLP-300 series printer, found just inside the front access panel, and it is easily removed and replaced.
- I think that this is a great idea, and the cartridge is easy to replace, but I had a hard time finding it on Samsung's site so I came here where I also had a difficult time finding it. I mainly blame Samsung for this because their online help didn't list the product number (CLP-W300A) in any of their help files.
Samsung Waste Toner Collector (CLP-W300A)
- arrived in a timely manner and a less expensive alternative to identical retail store product

5 comments about Sony MDR-Q68LW Clip-on Style Headphone with Retractable Cord.
- For the time I have had it. it works really well. I take it with me everywhere and I am even able to sleep with them. So yes I think this is a very good product.
- I bought these headphones for my walks and to take with me for my lunch breaks at work. So most of the time they're in my pocket. That's why I wanted a pair of headphones that retracted. They've held up for the past few months very well. Not the slightest problem.
PROS:
Small and lightweight.
They retract very easily with the button on either headphone.
There is a yellow part on the "end" of the cord so you know you shouldn't try and pull any more out.
They are a nice sleek black.
They put out REALLY nice sound. Seriously, if you want better sound, you'll have to use a pair of headphones that covers your ears. These have extremely clear sound that is capable of a nice deep bass.
CONS:
I wish the cord were about 6" longer. The cord that plugs into your music device comes out of the left headphone. So when you're wanting to walk with it, you have to carry it with your left hand to avoid yanking the left headphone off of your ear.
I'm use to my old Sony headphones that had a kind of metal and plastic mesh over the cord that prevented it from being damaged. In comparison to the cord for these headphones, these have a very small cord. I tend to be worried about it, but so far so good. I've dropped my mp3 player many a time which has yanked on the cord hard enough to pull the left headphone off of my ear a few times and still the cord seems perfectly fine.
FINAL SCORE:
Minor gripes aside, it's the best portable headset out there. You want something to carry around and not worry about it breaking and/or getting tangled? Look no further my friend. You have found it. :D
- I've been looking for retractable headphones that work for a long time. These are great, both the cord that connects to the device and the cord that connects the two ear pieces are retractable. They click/lock as they are expanded and you push a button (one on each earpiece) to retract them. The operation is easy and they take up minimal space when fully retracted. It takes a little while getting used to attaching the ear pieces to your ears, but it's well worth it.
- Being the proud owner of an ipod shuffle I was in the market for a good pair of headphones after destroying my earbuds in a bike "accident."
I am not a big fan of the earbud type of headphones as I feel they are a bit detrimental to your hearing. I had a pair of clip-ons before but I would get fristrated with them as the cords were constantly getting tangled. In addition I wanted something with a shorter cord as I have no need for three feet of wire if the ipod is going to be around my waste. So I did some searching and voilĂ , just what I need.
The retractable cord works like a charm. I really like how it goes all the way in which makes for neat storage. The earphones how pretty decent quality if you ask me and are confortable enough. My only complaint is that it seems like the fabric that is next to your ear is kind of...cheap? Not sure if that is the right word, but I worry about how long it will last before it rips.
All in all, a good headphone. I would definately recommend them to a friend.
- These headphones are pretty nice. Push the button on the side for the cords to retract into the earpieces. The cord on the left piece connects the headphones to your player and the cord on the right piece connects to the left piece. With this kind of set up I can control the length of the cord behind my head and get the right length to reach my iPod. With a shorter cord, I couldn't keep the player in my pants pocket while listening to it. With a much too long cord, it would get tangled in my bag and snag on my bike handles. The cords on this model make a clicking sound when being lengthened and have yellow bands near the end of their extents to keep you from over extending them.
I love that they sit outside my ears since the bud styles hurt my ears and tend to fall out while exercising. It may take some adjusting to get them in the right position as the clips are spring loaded and can put an uncomfortable amount of pressure on the ears if not positioned well.

5 comments about CORSAIR 750w TX Series 80 Plus Certified Power Supply.
- I seldom rate anything so highly, especially a component that is often overlooked in the scheme of computer building. This particular unit is as flawless as they come. The power in the single 12V rail is enough to power ANYTHING now and in the near future. You can run 4 SLI video cards at the same time without any problems. This unit comes in a nice velvet cover, with all the cables/ties you need. Runs very cool and quiet. Actually noise level is a large factor for me because I do a lot of video/audio editing and I dont need the extra ambient noise. This unit is SOLID...very reliable... very powerful. At this price, you can't beat it. 5 STARS without hesitation.
- On full load I'm drawing 787 watts (includes my 2 LCD's and my router) per my UPS and I idle at 380 watts. Q6600 overclocked stable at 3495mhz so far, QuadFire 3870's (x2 3870x2's ASUS) overclocked, 4 hard drive raid 0 + 1, 500gb sata II drive, 2 DVD burners, and a floppy all in the Antec 1200 case. This PSU is very quiet, and so far so good it can handle everything I'm throwing at it. Plenty cord length for my tower of a case to hide the cables behind the mother board too.
- I purchased a Dell computer about a week before, hoping to make some cheap modifications to it. I purchased this power supply, but feared it wouldn't fit in the very small dell case. To my delight, it fits just fine. A little work to get it in, but the ties the supply come with make cleaning up the cables easy. However, the cables fill up A LOT of space if you don't have a full tower. Like I said, I have a small case, and I managed to tuck them all away. I can barely hear the supply when it is idle, and it is only slightly louder when it is running. Great find, and pleased it worked out!
- Pros: Seems well made. The massive single 12V rail is a nice plus. No need to balance your load like you to do with a multi rail PS. The fan is very quiet. Lots of four pin molex connectors for your older hardware and plenty of SATA connectors for the new stuff. Power connectors for 4 video cards. Will support both 20 and 24 pin MOBO power. Great low price with the current rebate, better than EBAY or NEWEGG.
CONS: Four video card power connectors are a bit much, needed to stuff 2 of them on the back of tower. Alot of cables for my mid tower to find hiding places for the excess. Amazon shipping generally slower than Newegg.
- This Corsair PS replaced my aging Antec PS which is great. However, I'm really impressed with this Corsair, it is very quiet and here is an example of my computer setup:
Case: Lian Li PC 65B (has four 80 mm cooling fans)
MB: Gigabyte DS3L GA-P35
HD: 4 internal (3 SATA, 1 80 gig, 2 500 gig/1 IDE 1 400 gig)
RAM: 2 2gig DDR2 800 sticks
DVD: 2 DVD burners (one SATA, one IDE)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 6550 (2.33 GHz)
CPU Cooler: Stock Intel Cooler
GPU: BFG GTX 260 (not overclocked)
LCD: 2 19 inch LCD
Speaker: Logitech X230
That's about it, again, I am really please with this power supply, I've had absolutely no issues with it and highly recommend it. Thanks.

5 comments about Plantronics DSP-400 Digitally-Enhanced USB Foldable Stereo Headset and Software.
- Beware of the advertisement. It came without a USB connection and I sent it back.
- I've had my headset for three months now and I have to say this is the best headset I have every owned. The flexibility offered with the hinged folding feature of this headset makes it unbeatably comfortable and durable for all sizes and shapes.
I put this headset through its paces. I use it for transcription work from audio tapes. I also use it for dictations with Dragon Naturally Speaking. I've also been known to fall asleep wearing it while listening to music in bed only to wake in the morning still wearing it. Lately I've been using it to make calls to people all over the world using Skype.
The sound and recording quality is unbeatable and I really like the adjustable volume control on the headset cable. Speaking of the cable, that extra long cable gives you a lot of mobility to move around the desk while talking.
Needless to say, I wear this headset for many hours of the day. It's so comfortable that I've forgotten I was wearing it a few times when I stood up to walk away from my PC and had it yanked from my head! With other headsets they'd be broken or bent out of shape by now from falling asleep while wearing them. Not this one. The built in hinges in the middle of the headset and on each ear piece make it very forgiving.
My only complaint, and it is one I have with all headsets, is that in warm weather when your head tends to perspire, the earpiece coverings don't hold up well to the moisture. That's easily remedied with replaceable covers though.
- I've used the product a few times. So far, it has worked well. Rated it a 4 because longevity is an issue I'd consider in a rating, and I haven't had it long enough yet--but Amazon emailed me twice, so....(no complaint).
- The headset was exactly what I expected after reading previous reviews. The material is very thin and light - not something I would want to travel with. I have a large head, and the fit is very comfortable - very light on the ears. The sound is good, although I don't listen to quality music with them. The mike is two-way adjustable. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
- The headset is great... However, the USB had some problems and kept on disconnecting so I had to remove it. Overall, I am very happy with this product...

5 comments about Airline Adapter.
- Well made adapter for airplanes, convertes the two plug outlet to one for headphone etc. saves cost of buying onboard earphone, and you can bring your own. have one in each travel case.
- My unit in April 2008 came in cardboard and plastic bubble pack with Maxell brand label on cardboard. Adapter has no brand name logo on it but seems well built.
- Hey guys,
I am going to take a 20 hour flight. I am planning to buy an adapter but I am wondering if anybody tried them on Lufthansa since the lufthansa as I heard from someone is three-prong holes.
Thanks
- If you are ever on one of the older airplanes with this kind of plug and have your own headphones this will come in very handy. Airline headphones are always cheap crap and hurt your ears more then they help, so I always carry my own noise isolating headphones with me...
- If you are planning to take an airline trip anytime soon and love to watch the movies they provide, then this product is a good companion to your own head phones. Just plug in your own head phone wire into this airline adapter, which is conveniently the exact required plug that fits in the airline arm rest, and voila you are ready to go. No more paying for airline movies/earphones (currently $5.00) and even better, this adapter is reusable for future flights.

5 comments about Griffin iTrip AutoPilot FM Transmitter with SmartScan for iPod (Black).
- PROS:
None.
CONS:
Even though I had read the reviews warning of the poor performance with this unit, because I wanted a solution AND because I'm hard headed, I went ahead and ordered it. With the unit only a foot from my radio's antenna, it would barely work. With the unit inside my vehicle, which was less than three feet away from my antenna, it wouldn't work at all.
Please head my warning and those that have rated this before me and try another route... DO NOT ORDER THIS! IT DOES NOT WORK!! Shame on Griffin (who is normally an excellent accessory supplier of Apple iPhones and iPods) for letting this product enter the market place obviously untested.
- The star rating is more for the company support then the product itself.
The first day I had this product it worked great. The reception was strong and the volume was good for an FM transmitter. The 2nd day the product developed an intermittent hiss on all stations. Rather then return it to Amazon (which I'm thinking I should have done) I contacted Griffin to see if I could get it replaced via warranty, thinking that upon receipt (with proof of purchase) they'd just immediately send me out a new model. Instead they've had my unit for over a month. Each week they've told me they're still testing it and it should just be a few more days. Apparently there are a LOT of tests that need to run on an ipod charger.
My household has 2 iPhones and several iPods. We also have a lot of Griffin accessories. Normally they have a high build quality. However, if you purchase one of their products and find it defective then my advice would be to return it to the point of purchase rather then deal with their customer service.
- This item works just fine with my 3G iPhone in an urban city of 3 million. It works fine at 97.9 FM and also in one of the "hidden" frequencies. There is an occasional static crackle for a few seconds, but it's always in the same exact location as I'm driving near certain places I know have other FM transmitters.
All cars are different and all cities are different, but I'm happy with what I have. I wish I had a car with a direct aux connection, but sadly I don't.
This item gets one 0.5 stars knocked off because there is no way to lock the frequency. I sometimes accidentally touch the transmitter part and the + or - button is pushed, which changes the frequency.
- Generally FM transmitters are hit or miss depending on the vehicle and the area you are in. I was able to do a side by side comparison with another FM transmitter in the same vehicle so I can set aside variations for vehicle and area.
The performance of the iTrip autopilot fm transmitter is so poor that it is unusable. I could hardly get a listenable signal anywhere and all I wanted to listen to where spoken word podcasts in mono mode. The smartscan feature is useless.
Unfortunately the FM transmitter I own will not charge my iPhone 3G. Would somebody PLEASE make a halfway decent FM transmitter for the iPhone 3g!
- The first experience with this transmitter was very dissapointing. Clear scan was really finding pretty strong FM stations instead of clean frequencies. Transmission power was so weak so itw as really hard to hear anything intead of static noise.
After applying the "boost-up" trick the transmitter started to behave a bit better - the transmission power went a bit up and also additional frequencies plus tunning interval of 0.1 Mhz started to work.
Any way in the areas where there is a lot of FM radio stations and other magnetic fields the signal is getting very low.
RDS is something that is not really a feature that should be advertise with this product.
