5 comments about Creative EP-640 In-Ear Headphones.

1. I am not an audiophile, I just know that I like music and I like to listen to music. All kinds of music. I have a Creative Zen and the stock earbuds that came with it were horrible. They were very large and hurt my ears. I bought a pair of Phillips earbuds which had one of those cables that was shorter for one ear. (I think it's called a "J" cable?) Annoying. So, I gave those to my husband and bought skullcandy smokin' buds, which sounded...ok...but the dang things wouldn't stay in my ears. They kept falling out. They also had a volume control on the wire which I didn't like. I finally replaced them with the Creative EP-640's. I was looking for the EP-630's, but the store didn't have any, so I figured 630, 640, how different could they be, right? Well, I love these. I don't know how different they sound from 630's, but these stay in my ears and do not fall out. They sound really good too. Could have gone with a slightly longer wire though. Overall, a great replacement for all the others I had. Of course, everyone hears music differently and you might not like them. These are perfect for me.



2. Using these on my Zune as I write. Very comfortable with 3 rubber insert options to choose from. Definately better than what came with the Zune, plus they stay in my ears better. I have no problem with the sound quality, although this is my first pair of the in-ear style -- so I can't compare to other makes and models. I can listen at lower volume levels. Better outside noise reduction, too.



3. Had to get a pair to replace the crappy Apple ones that come default with the shuffle. I use these to work out and needed a pair that didn't fall out constantly. Since the Apple earphones didn't have any bass and barely if any mids, I wanted to make sure this new set did a better job in that regard.
   
   I was pleased to hear the sound quality was pretty good when I first tested them out. Overall the sound is better than what I expected for such a cheap pair of earphones. The highs aren't muffled or tinny, mids are apparent and I can finally hear bass in songs. I'm sure you could find better earphones but you would be paying 3x-5x the price. There is cord noise when or if you bump the cord, but I only noticed this when I had the music paused and it wasn't very loud or anything to be concerned about.
   
   As with any in-ear style earphone, you must make sure that it seals inside your ear canal otherwise the sound will not be as good. These also do a good job at blocking noise, I can't hear anyone when I have music playing (even at low levels) which makes people think I'm ignoring them but if I turn off the music I can still hold a conversation (so long as they aren't a light talker).
   
   Just fyi, when I ordered these I was expecting a white pair seeing that the image is actually white but I received a black pair instead (same model number). Not sure if Amazon just messed up or they have the wrong picture displayed, however I'm glad I got black instead since the white ones get nasty after awhile of use in the gym.



4. Alright, so FIRST OFF, let me just say, the whole reason I bought this the 640s instead of the 630s (and this is shallow, I know), is because it showed that they were white. I figured, okay, I can pitch in five or ten extra bucks to get ones that match my iPod, because I'm seriously anal about things matching like that. Guess what? I got them in the mail, and they were black. Way to misrepresent the product Amazon.
   
   Nonetheless, I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning them and waiting, etc., so I kept them. And the sound was, indeed, quite good. As some have mentioned, the bass is very nice. I also felt that the ear pieces fit very snugly into my ears and didn't fall out at all or make annoying noises like some ill-fitting buds do when jogging or using the elliptical. So, in other words, despite being misled on color, I really enjoyed these for two weeks.
   
   But then the left bud shorted out, and, stupid me, the receipt got thrown away with the shipping materials. That's a lot of money down the drain for me to readily pick up a replacement of these hoping it was just a bad pair and that another pair won't do that. This is why it's hard for me to give it anything more or less than a three because though I would give it a two or one for shorting out after two weeks and because they weren't the product represented in the picture, the sound was indeed nice and they fit well and all that jazz, but I can't let the bad things go unnoticed.
   
   I'll say this: go for the 630s. Everyone seems to think they sound the same, they're cheaper, and they look the exact same as what you'll get when you order this. The only difference I believe is that these have a pouch that comes with them. JUST MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR RECEIPT lest you encounter the terrible luck I did. :(



5. just got the 640's today, and have been using the 630's for over a year. out of the box the physical specs are exactly the same. they come with the exact same sets of 3 silicone ear buds.
   
   i ordered the 640s as a backup so i was able to compare the two models side by side using the same source. the sound is exactly the same. no noticeable difference in bass. they honestly appear to be the exact same earbuds simply repackaged.
   
   so whatever you think of your 630s you'll feel the same way about these.

3. I bought one of these audio switches on price and the few good reviews I saw. It worked for a few weeks and now doesn't work on one line. I should of realized just by the name alone "dgital" it was a cheap knock off.
   
   Take a look at other options rather than this one.

5. I love this product. The manufacturing is very solid and the 'clicking' when the switch is lined up is fantastic. Great item to buy considering many older receivers that do not have HDMI only have 1 optical input. I recommend purchasing this product.

1. This antenna mast has a good build quality and seems sturdy enough. My only complaint is that the enclosed assembly and installation instructions were very poor and lacking in detail. It included anchors and screws that I couldn't figure out how or where to use, and I ended up using alternate bolts that I had on hand.



2. The product's construction is very sturdy, and fairly easy to assemble (although I agree the instructions leave something to be desired -- however it is easy enough). The mount is flexible and adjustable for a large variety of installation configurations.
   One strange thing is that the mount comings with 4 expansion bolts to attach it to the wall. These kinds of bolts are great for concrete or brick walls (you must first drill a hole in the concrete/brick wall), but they are completely useless for using in wood, which is what I image most people actually want to attach it to! If you plan to attach it to wood, you will need to purchase 4 wood screws separately. While strange, this is hardly a big deal.

1. Before purchasing this item, I did read the reviews and found that 1/2 loved it and 1/2 hated it. To me, it's like that with everything and you really just need to form your own opinion. I actually love it, it's perfect, I get great sound from it, great reception, it's cute and good size. I keep it in the kitchen when I'm cooking or cleaning. So I would recommend it to others, it does what it said it would. Good price, fast delivery right out of the box I put my roady in and I was good to go.



2. This docketing station has great sound. I absolutely love it. It is compact and sounds great. I have it at my office and it fits perfectly. Can't imagine what I did without.



3. The Altec XM3120 was very easy to set up and dock with the XM Roady XT. The sound quality was GREAT.



4. This worked just great with my XM Xpress EZ tuner. It fit in one of the docks with absolutely no modifications. It sounds just great and you don't even need the antenna pointed through an outside window. I have it pointed South right at a sheet rock wall and it works excellently! Two criticisms though; one, it took me a while to figure out how to power OFF the unit. You need to press and hold the XM button on the radio itself for a couple of seconds, and two, there is no battery capability as with the older boom box units but that is just fine with me since I use this in the house.



5. I ordered two of these, one for home and another for the cabin.
   
   I opened the box, plugged in the power supply and the XM antenna (didn't even unwind the cable), attached my XM Roady XT (without the adapter as others had recommended) and I'm listening to crystal clear XM radio.
   
   I have the unit placed in the middle of my 20' x 20' bedroom. The radio display is showing three bars (the antenna is right next to the unit, 10 feet from the nearest window).
   
   The quality and volume of the sound is very good. I also have the option to play through my home stereo's speakers by simply connecting to the unit's headphone jack.
   
   Amazon was prompt shipping my order and I received it on the exact day that was scheduled. A one-year warranty is included.
   
   In my opinion, at this great price, you can't go wrong purchasing this attractive, space-saving unit. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

1. Got the product quickly and it works great. A little feedback at times, but nothing too serious



2. The Plantronics 625 are pretty impressive headphones. My intent was to get a set of headphones that could do double duty for my laptop. I wanted ones that primarily provided great Skype/chat capabilities and can provide great sound for listening to music. These headphones definitely fit the bill. I also love it's ability to plug into either standard headphone and mike jacks or use USB. My only complaint is that the music can be heard by the folks next to you.



3. Excellent audio quality,the audio with skype is incredible, but there were no instructions included and the mute switch works counter-intuitively. A little explanation on how to plug it and work the controls would have been nice. The icons are so small you need a big magnifying glass to see them

5. I have an at home job and am on the phone via my computer all day. I have used headsets in the past that by the end of the day, I have a headache or my ears are sore. I have never had one day with this headset that I don't end they day feeling as good as I started. No sore spots, no headaches, just extreme comfort. If I had to find something to complain about, I would have to say that every so often my customers will sometimes say I am cutting in and out. However, I do not know if this is the headset or the program I am using. It doesn't happen often enough for me to be concerned with it though. Maybe once a month or so. I highly recommend this headset. I even use it sometimes when playing games online while others are trying to watch tv. Great buy!!!

1. I've been looking for the "perfect" bluetooth for a mobile phone. I had a Jawbone and found it very difficult to quickly fit the ear loop over my ear. It was also a bit uncomfortable for long wearing. Also big. Anyway, I recently purchased and started using the 925. After a few weeks of use I can say that I'm very satisfied with every feature in it. At first I thought it would fall out of my ear. But it didn't and is comfortable for all day use. And I have had no complaints on sound quality. It's lightweight and easy to use.



2. I'm thrilled with my Bluetooth earpiece. While the silicone ear insert took a day or so to get used to, I now love it. It's the first earpiece that I have not had to fuss extensively with fit and NEVER with sound quality!!



3. I like this product , It stays in your ear with out hooks I can hear them and they can hear me. The carrying case has two uses, one as a case, and the other as a charger on the run , first charge the case then unplug it then use the charge when ever you put the ear piece in the case, ausome.Also works in either ear without much ajustment. Would recommend.



4. This product is great... comfortable with crystal clear audio. And the carrying case/charger is so cool.



5. Only had it three weeks and it started getting hard for others to hear. Called Plantronics and they are sending a replacement. Hopefully it will work longer. When it was working well, by far the best headset I've tried.

1. Shipping was fast.
   
   I have two game consoles and my digital converter box connected to this and it works great. I have it set to automatic switch and it recognizes the input as soon as I turn it on.
   
   The picture quality is as good as you can expect for an analog TV.
   
   The only Con I could possibly see is that it's slightly bulky, otherwise it works as expected.
   
   Great product.



2. This product works exactly as it was intended. I have a five year old 36 inch TV and the video and audio quality is great. The product switches automatically as advertised, once you figured out which input has priority. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to connect game consoles, cable/satellite, and DVD players.



3. Got one of these for a 32 inch HDTV that I wanted to connect a separate VCR and DVD Player to, and also from time to time a laptop computer (the HDTV works as a computer monitor also) and video games for the kids. Basically the unit does what the ad says. It has 4 sets of INPUT jacks (RCA and S Video), 3 sets on the back and 1 set on the front, and 1 set of OUTPUT jacks (also RCA and S Video). Wired it up and it works fine with one minor (to me) exception, and that is I cannot get the MODE to change (the MODE button is supposed to let you manually select the input for the TV, or set it on automatic, or set it on scan). Mine came already set to automatic and it works fine, but I would just like the option of setting it to manual. 4 stars. Would buy again if needed.



4. This video selector works well. A good solution to connect to a number of video sources. It would be even better if it could have more input capacity. It did take time to read the instructions to prioritize my connection. Now I can switch to my laptop, DVD player, TV receiver and Wii console in a second.



5. Just what I needed to wade through the pile of electronics we have to connect to one TV. I was able to get them all set up in a matter of 5 minutes with no degradation of picture quality.

1. Rival has no rivals when it comes to small slow cookers. I am perfectly satisfied with this item. The instruction book includes recipes and a guide to adapting other recipes to the slow cooker.



2. Over the last couple of years I have gone slow-cooker crazy. I love the convenience and great tasting food that comes out of these things BUT cannot recommend this model. It runs way too hot and the ceramic crock fits in way too tightly. No matter what I try, condensed steam on the lid spills out over the rim and runs down in between, even on "low" setting. This causes the crock to stick to the pot. What a pain. Keep looking: You won't be sorry to get a slow cooker, just maybe not this one.



3. excellent product. great for one or two person household. only complaints are outside gets very hot and could burn someone if accidently brushed up against it. i keep it away from the wall and anything plastic. i don't know if other brands don't have this problem. i would also like to non stick interior to the crock to make cleaning up easier. you have to remember to spray the inside before using. also remember to put root vegetables such as carrots, onions, potatoes in first then meat then sauce ingredients, since the vegetables take longer to cook. some meats such as chicken are better off cooked at high for 2-1/2 to 3 hours, since they can get dry even with the sauce. over all though i really like this product but i would have bought an oval shaped one, since food fits better in it. i'd like to see the following features, timer, keep warm button, oval shape, heat proof outside, non stick interior, on a small sized unit. i don't think any company is making the smaller size with these features. until they do, this is a very good product.



4. I was afraid this crock pot might be too small, but it's perfect. It could easily serve 2,3 or even 4 people. Perfect for soups, stews, overnite oatmeal or hot dips. The crock is removable and it has low and high settings.



5. I purchased this for my granddaughter who is a sophomore at college. She is enjoying it immensely, experimenting with recipes and is the envy of her dormitory. She has "dinner parties" for her friends. The pot works well, cooks away while she sleeps or is in class. It is the Rival Crockpot.

1. This cable is almost 10 feet long, and can go up to 10.2gbps, fast enough for all the bells and whistles that HDMI can support. $20 is reasonable, and the cable doesn't look or feel cheap either.



2. I bought these cables and they look great and appear to be of fine quality.....DONT BE FOOLED! They are ok I suppose IF YOU NEVER PLAN TO UNPLUG THEM! When trying to unplug the cable from my HDTV the supposed gold prong stays suck in the tv whilst the cable comes out with these frayed gold conecters that are impossible to salvage. The conecter is held together by a tiny dot of metal sauter and pops apart like a rubberband. I bought them through Amazon from ANT OLINE...BEWARE of this company I have been trying to get a hold of them for a week and they refuse to answer my emails...Amazon wont replace them because they were from one of thier vendors not them. I have to go through some A-Z guarantee which I have yet to have time to hassle with. I wont order from third parties on AMAZON...always a NIGHTMARE....stick with AMAZON products only and perhaps you will safe. DONT BUY THESE CABLES.



3. The connector on the cable broke the first day. I inserted it on my 42 plamsa TV to test the connection before I hung the TV. When I removed the cable I noticed the brass connector was stilll in my TV. I am returning it for a refund.



4. The HDMI cable works excellent, i connected mi DVD HDMI with another cable and the image stoped many times, with this HDMI cable the problem is now fixed... Excellent quality



5. Well, just like disappointed, my brass connector also broke. This is worse, BECAUSE IT WAS ALREADY IN MY WALL!!! I now have to pay to have a new cable put in the wall.
