5 comments about Black Leather Case Cover for iPod Touch+LCD+Car Charger.
- I am pleased with this purchase. A resonable price includes three items. A leather case to hold tight my ipod touch, it also comes with a protector that you can put on to the screen. Overall the performance are good.
- Wow, 6 bucks for 3 amazing things. I got these items 2 days before the real shipment dates, and I was really surprised and pretty happy, great job guys, if there was 100 stars, id make it above 100.
- Frankly..this product stinks. cheap leather. It has some distinct odor that stays on your fingers after using the product for sometime.
- These three items combined are well worth the modest price. My only complaint is minor. The material of the case prevents my car audio jack from fully engaging the speaker/headphone output port in the iPod Touch. To use the iPod in my car, then, I must remove it from the leather case. Not a show-stopper, just an annoyance.
- An excellent buy all the way around! Delivery was sooner than expected and the quality of all three items was better than anticipated for the modest price!!! The items were a gift for my husband and is he equally pleased! I'll definitely be back...the seller gets a 100+!!!

5 comments about Turbo Charge Portable iPod Charger - TBA650.
- This product is designed poorly; I've accidentally left it on because of the crappy switch so many times. The off position is between the charging position and a flashlight position. It has gotten to the point where i can't even put the thing in my pocket without worrying about the switch being lightly bumped and turning on.
Also, when its charging, several bright blue lights turn on- a huge waste of my batteries. Sure, it tells you how much battery power you have left, but this feature could be much smaller, and not waste all the power. This was a mistake buy, and I've stopped using the product for these reasons.
- I wrote a review of the cell-phone turbo charger - I had issues, with the process, not the product. This item is great and it really does work. Recently I was on a long trip and used it to continue watching movies on my IPod Classic. The actual charger is the same for the cell phone and IPod. If you have one, you just need to order the adapter for the other. (IPod classic takes adapter TA202).
- This charger works great -- it is ideal for long flights to make sure you can keep watching movies on your video iPod or iPod touch / iPhone. Works as advertised.
- I used this on a recent trip to Nigeria. Not only did it charge my iPod consistently, it comes with a flashlight on it, which was really handy. If you are traveling to a remote area, one that is tough to get steady power, or just don't want to mess with adaptors overseas, this charger is a great addition to your travel gear. I'm not going to travel again without it.
- after i bought a griffen ipod charger which uses the 9volt batteries which broke i saw this one, bought it, and it works great
uses 2 AA batteries (a lot easier to come by than 9V) and keeps my ipod going
the connector can detach from the unit itself too, so i dont have to worry about bending it and possibly messing up the wires
only complaint about it is the switch, toward the plug is to turn on LED lights, middle is off and reverse is charge. it slips between the three too easily, ill have it in my pocket in off, and when i pull it out to use it, its in the charge setting or has the LED lights on (but since they're LEDs, they dont drain much power so its fine, just annoying)
other than that, its great

5 comments about Altec Lansing inMotion iM7 Portable Audio System for iPod (White).
- I bought this unit not only for a playback instrument for my Apple Touch, but also for a speaker for my Apple laptop. On both accounts, it is everything I wanted it to be and I would recommend it highly.
The sound on this product is excellent. I was uncertain that the bass would meet my expectations but found it to be excellent. Adjustments to your sound preferences are easily made with the remote. The feel of the iM7 is solid and is not flimsy. Volume control is excellent, however, bass with bottom out with very loud volume settings. For "normal" listening levels, this is an excellent player.
Nice feature: Charges your Apple while listening.
Note, if you have a Apple Touch, the front door will NOT close as it will for the other Apple products. Adaptors are included for all Apple units, but Altec has not fitted this unit for the Touch. So, I just leave the door open or I hook it up using an aux cord.
Great Sound - Great Value.
- I have had this for 3.5 years and the sound is AMAZING! My first unit had blown speakers and had to be returned (back @ Xmas 2005). This second unit has been old faithful. I now use it via Aux. Jack for my Zune and I charge my ol' Ipod at the same time. Remote is great. Well made. Only thing, the Ipod Nano does not fit even with adapter. So, for Aux use or old Ipods this is grrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
- Great way to enjoy or share your idpod collection of tunes. V. good sound quality for the money. Recommend getting the carrier for it also for easy transport. We looked at other more expensive ways to to the same thing and glad we saved the money!
- This is one of the most amazing audio system for ipod that I ever have, I recomended 100%.
- The IM7 rips to shreds any other speaker system I have ever owned - that INCLUDES a few Logitech 2.1 systems I've used for my dorm - that also includes my roommate's Harman Kardon and Sony 2.1 systems.
This bad boy fills my entire 35X25 dorm up no problem, even with a crowd of loud, drunken Wellesley girls. The bass is unexpectedly full, loud, and bumping. The main speakers hit the highs, mids, and lows no problem. Hip Hop sounds AMAZING on the IM7.
I bought the speakers with the carrying case and WILL DEFINITELY be taking it to a few hotel room parties with me and overseas for Spring Break.
As for problems with the dock or the ipod freezing - my best advice is that if you have a more recent Ipod model you should be fine - the newer hard drives can deal with the BASS BUMPING intensity of this speaker system. The remote control is weak, but I could honestly care less.
I give this speaker system 5 out 5 shot glasses - definitely a must buy, oh and did I forget to mention that it's PORTABLE!!!

3 comments about iHome Dual Alarm Clock with Speaker Dock for Zune.
- Well this thing worked great for the 3 whole hours it worked... I would give it a 4 star rating since it sounded good when it worked. It received (and still does) a strong radio signal. It controlled the Zune as stated and woke me up in the morning... I came home from work placed the Zune in the cradle and nothing! Everything works, the radio, the Zune the alarm but no sound at all! I will get a replacement unit and if it works then I will change my review...
- I've been waiting for this product for months, and it is exactly what I wanted and more.
The default beeping noise reminds me of some cheap digital wrist watch, but that's not really the purpose of this. Wake to your music collection, instead.
Sound quality is GREAT for such a little device, and it is quite loud.
Superb reception on the radio as well, no static on any of my local stations.
One of my favorite features is the multiple brightness settings for the display, adjustable by tapping the snooze bar. There's nothing so annoying as an overly bright readout lighting up your otherwise dark room while you attempt to sleep.
Build quality of this item appears excellent. Nothing is loose, no gaps or rattles: It feels nice and solid.
If you've got a Zune, and tire of the cheapo alarm clocks on the market, purchase this item and give it a home on your dresser or night stand.
I'm not sorry I did.
- I recently bought the 80GB 2nd Gen Zune (which I love) but I knew I wouldn't just want to listen to it via earbuds all the time. So I finally found this device. And let me tell you, it is worth every penny.
Features I love:
--It is LOUD, I can hear this all over the house pretty much and I haven't even tried the highest volume setting.
--It is sleek looking. Nice design and easy to read display with multiple brightness settings for the clock.
--I like the dual alarms. Have one set early for during the work week which it knows to only use M-F, and one set for later on the weekend days.
--I like that it has two volume memories. One for just normal play and one for when you have it on the sleep. So crank it up during the day, and if you want to fall asleep to it, that volume can be kept lower.
--And the sleep timer is available for up to 2 hours long which is nice. Most units only do 1 hour.
--Adjustable snooze time length, anywhere up to 30 minutes of snooze time.
--All display buttons light up, making it easy to use even late at night.
Features not so great:
--Does not include a remote control to operate the unit. That is available via an offer inside the box direct from iHome for $20 more.
--Only 6 preset radio stations per band. I have close to 10 good stations near me so I had to narrow it down a bit. But then again I didn't really buy this to listen to the FM radio much.
--After you turn it off via the power button, the Zune display image still stays on for about a minute. This is only bad because it causes me to question if I really turned it off or not.
The 3 cons are not that big however. The option to get the unit for $100 and buy a remote is fine and the other two are me just being picky so I would have something negative to say!
All in all, this is a great product and if you are a Zune owner, it is nice to have something specifically made for Zune products! Highly recommend!

5 comments about Ipod Touch Sleeve with armband Bk.
- You couldn't jog with this because of the flexibility of the sleeve and armband. It bounced around too much. Plus, it was too large for my 'average' arm. I would have kept it for the silicone sleeve, except a rip developed on the corner of one the openings that was only going to keep growing.
- IT ACTUALLY MAKES YOUR iPOD BETTER..!!!
PLEASE NOTE, the arm band is an add on... If your on the move, or are a jogger, than the included velcro arm band easily attaches to the 2 slits like a belt behind the ipod and you can stick it to your arm or wrist. I like it on my inside forearm when i'm out & about, but prefer the front pocket if i'm just lounging. The bicep is key if your running...
The product is a smooth silicone sleeve that fits and protects like a condom and removes all that warmth your used to because of body heat/screen heat. It also deminishes hand oil and sweat moisture due to holding the steel back of the ipod. Since now the pod is encased in a thin silicone sleeve you get comfort that was NOT there before & a notice in coolness in overall temperature.!!!
As a bonus you get a clear plactic screen cover that actually repels heat from your finger & the backlight!!! And less finger prints & moisture to boot! BEST $10 BUCK INVESTMENT, BUT 2!!!! Simply the best.
- I was looking for something to hold the 32GB IPOD Touch and found it in this armband. Adjustable and comfortable.
- This was a perfect buy, It came earlier than expected. I use it daily to workout.
- Great protection for pocket. The strap works for me walking, moving around generally, and doing machine exercises. Might not feel secure jogging though.

5 comments about Belkin Leather Folio Case for iPod touch (Pink/Chocolate Brown).
- its nice and strong and the velcro is good but i use it wen im drivin nd its hard to keep it open while i change songs so thats bad.
- I have had this case for about 6 weeks and I am very happy with it.
Pros:
Super Cute
Soft inside lining protects my Touch
Front flap protects the screen while it's in my purse
Strong velcro
No issues accessing things on the extreme left or right of the screen
Cons:
Won't stay open without holding it
I would definitely buy it again.
- I only bought this as it was described as magnetic closure!!! It was velcro!!! I dislike it because of that!
- This product is great! Its cute and helps keep my ipod protected while its in my bag. The cover allows access to all the openings and buttons, and its easy to open and close. Perfect for girls, but it doesn't have a belt clip, which I don't need anyways. Great bargain!
- The color is pretty true to the picture (very powdery pink.) The front flap can fold behind the iTouch/Phone and you can attach the velcro so the cover is out of your way while using the device. The only con I can think of is the elastic which holds the unit in can cover the earphone and charger plugs and you have to fiddle with it a bit to make sure the connection fits. Beside this, the fit is very secure. Beware not to throw it in a bag where it may get scratched by keys or a loose pen as it is leather and will leave a mark. I have bought three in different colors. The persimmon and ivory combo looks very nice.

5 comments about Shure SE530 Sound Isolating Earphones.
- They're bright and transparent but lack in depth because of minimal bass. My UE Super Fi 5 Pro IEMs sound way more full-bodied and balanced. I'm not asking for "booming" bass, just, well ANY bass! I shelled out $300 and change for these "cans" and I feel robbed, to be honest. And the cheap wire that loops over the ears feel as if it's gonna break apart. Also, the sleeves are a pain when it comes 'twisting and pulling' them off.
And their weight is a joke: They feel like earphones you'd buy in a discount dollar store; cheap, crappy, 'MADE IN CHINA' junk. And after a few hours of using them, I'd experience a discomfort behind both of my ears, because Shure decided NOT to use a flexible-metal to fold their cheap wires around both ears. I will be selling these "things" ASAP, for they are an absolute rip-off of the up tenth³ degree.
And for you people giving these "things" a 4 and 5-star rating, well, you're living in a blissful world of naiveté--simply trying to justify your purchase by denying the fact that these "things" are garbage.
They're not worth $500. Hell, they ain't even worth $200--maybe $100. The sound that you get, for the price you pay, is not worth it.
Don't buy 'em, people!
- I found the audio a bit dampen. It's not as crisp as the Audio Technica ATH-ANC3 which I own. In fact, I found that to have better audio quality, at about 4 times cheaper the price. Yes, it looks cool but you're really buying it for the audio ability.
Noise cancellation is excellent, via ear buds. It's even better than my Audio Technica, which is using active noise canceling mechanism.
It's mandatory to test it before you buy.
Listen for yourself. Compare it with other earphones.
Reviews can be misleading because people have different standards for audio appreciation.
- I have used over a dozen top of the line IEMs including the UE10s, Sensaphonics 2XS, UE Triple-Fi's, Etymotic ER4P/S, Westone UM2, Sony EX700LP, Shure SE420, etc.
From my experience, the Shure SE530 not only are the most comfortable, but offer the best sound signature for most listening experiences. Their sound reminds me of the vinyl records I grew up with. It reduces the digital harshness of portable players. And is still good enough to be used in a serious audiophile system.
For the most accurate listening experience I refer you to the Ultimate Ears UE10s....and possibly their newer UE11s which I have not heard. These two IEMs are at least 3 times the money of the Shures. And from my experience are not as comfortable. Think about it, would hard plastic shells be as comfortable as supplanting foam into the ear?
Anyway...I've come to prefer the Shure sound signature overall. The midrange is the best I've heard on a headphone. The sound is extremely smooth. The decay of notes seem to melt into one another as if it were real live music. The soundstage is fairly realistic. Moreso than any other IEM I've heard.
One issue you may have with the Shures, is if you listen to classical music and are very used to extremely open and accurate sound presentations, the Shures may be a little dark for you. I listen to a lot of classical music. I'll tell you this, I too prefer generally and open and extremely airy sound presentation for this, but the Shures handle classical music brilliantly regardless of their airy shortcomings.
For rock, jazz, reggae, hip hop, country......I refer you to these monitors as there is no rival for them. Due to a very honest bass response and beautiful midrange the Shures are most pleasing monitor I have heard for that variety of music. I promise you, that if you are coming from a consumer vantage point of Bose products and other Apple Store offerings, the Shures will make you cry of amazement. The Bose products are very dishonest in their presentation and really cloud the music prefering to emphasize a visceral experience....much like a subwoofer. The Shures are quite visceral in their impact but somehow allow for a much more honest and less boomy presentation. I have never heard a single Bose headphone that would please any listener even half as much as these Shures.
If you are coming from a audiophile standpoint where you are already aware of great audio products and are just doing some IEM comparisons, let me say that if you like the sound of Sennheiser's top of the line products (HD600s / 650s) then you will love how similar the Shures are. The midrange presentation of the Shures may even slightly surpass the Sennheisers, but the Sennheisers have a bit more extended treble range.
Let me also say: IEMS are generally not comfortable. The concept of cramming something in your ear canal is just not a comfortable thought. Shures are about as comfortable as IEMs can get. They come with what is known in the audio world as "Black Olive Foams" these foams contour comfortably to the shape of your canal but have a smooth surface that does not irritate the canal. This is also very important: With whatever ear canal phone you buy DO NOT feel the need to cram the monitor uncomfortably in the canal. You won't do damage to the ear canal of course, BUT I truly believe with the right sleeve on the IEM nozzle, you can achieve a seal just by entering the very opening of the canal. As long as the foam or plastic sleeve is covering the entry of the canal, the bass response will not escape, you don't need to force the monitor uncomfortable up the canal.
Overall, I find that the Shures SE530 are great for the digital generation because their sound presentation simply makes the bright sound of digital mastering these days sound more organic and emotional. Something that has to be heard to be understood.
Also....these IEMs are extremely sensitive, meaning they can get really loud.....use caution, they don't need to be blasted and like most other headphones (and especially IEMs) blasting them for long hours will impact your hearing response if you do it often.
Hope I have been helpful in you deciding on your purchase. I will say this.......there may be a better IEM for some needs, but there certainly is no better all rounder, and in my opinion, the Shures handle no music I've thrown at it poorly.
- I can't believe these ear buds ever made it out of research and development. Sound: Tinny with no base. The sound that should be base is just scratchy noise. I tried using them for listening to audiobooks, but even that sound quality was unacceptable. I am now using my $9.99 Sony In-Ear Headphones. The Sony sound quality is far superior to the Shure SE530s. What an absolute rip off! The lowest rating I can give this product is one star. If I had the option, I would rate this product a negative five stars.
- As stated I have about 50% hearing loss with sever tinnitus (ringing in the ears), so I was not sure if getting "the best" in ear headphones was such a good investment for me. Would I really be able to discern a major difference in quality between these $500 (I actually payed $324 from Amazon for the Shure SE530PTH) headphones and the ear buds that came with my iPhone?
Well the SE530PTH did not restore my hearing and the ringing in the ears is still there but even I could easily discern the difference in sound quality and I am thrilled with the way my music sounds. I clearly hear the deep base notes and the high notes are clean and crisp to my ailing ears. I only have to turn the volume about one quarter compared to full volume with the iPhone buds.
Now I realize comparing the SE530 to the iPhone ear buds is probably not a fair comparison but that is not the point. Based on a thorough web search there is no argument that the SE530 is second to none in terms of sound quality. The question was would someone with serious hearing problems be able to benefit from this quality improvement or should they save their money and just stick with a cheap but decent pair of ear buds?
Some might argue that going half way with better but cheaper headphones would have given me the same results, but that was not an option I wanted to take. If I could tell a significant difference then I wanted the best headphones possible so I could take full advantage of the hearing I had left. I did not want to have any regrets later that I could have done better. I don't have that many years of hearing left so I want to enjoy what I still have to the maximum possible.
I am delighted to say that the money I spent is well worth it. It is a joy for me to listen to music again and it is as if I am right in the middle of the stage with the artist. That is truly a fantastic experience. Just think how it will sound to you who still have most of your hearing. Get this headphone. You will not regret it.

5 comments about ETYMOTIC RESEARCH ER20BP High Fidelity Ear Plugs ( Clear ).
- I play guitar and sing in a rock/blues band. I was told I'm starting to have some hearing loss, so I tried these and have also tried foam plugs. I couldn't tell the difference between these and foam plugs. Everything is too muffled with either set. I'm looking at more expensive plugs.
- These are the most comfortable, most sound-dampening plugs I've used. I play drums and these do a great job bringing the sound to a comfortable and safe level. I can still hear well enough to play, but protect my ears at the same time. They're small and, therefore, easy to lose. I keep the little carrying case attached to another piece of drum gear so they're always with me.
- I am a drummer for a very loud metal band (I was originally a jazz drummer, so your groans of disapproval are not completely dismissed) which practices two or three times a week in a concrete walled room. Our sound dampening devices consist of cardboard and old blankets (we are very high tech), so you can try to imagine the sheer volume presented in this small, ten by fifteen foot room by the drums, two full Marshal stacks, a PA, and a bass amp.
Up until I purchased these, I was using a set of industrial ear muffs which drowned everything out and made it difficult to keep track of where we were in a song. Also, doing an aerobic exercise for three to eight minute intervals over a course of four hours (i.e. playing drums...) tends to make you sweat (profusely, it's gross, but hey I'm human). Let it be known ear muffs are a thousand times more uncomfortable when they are slimy and sliding around your skin.
These plugs were a double upgrade. They are small and keep my head free and cool (and will not slip out due to excessive headbanging), and as advertised they reduced sound levels without entirely distorting the sound (but not completely, this will not beat an in-ear monitor by any means except in price). I can now hear key parts far better to stay on track.
The only downside is they are quite difficult to get in and are initially uncomfortable. You might actually have to wet them slightly for them to sit in your ear properly (yes, it's like giving yourself a wet willy...fun!). Finally, they do not work like foam plugs, so if you are expecting complete sound isolation for something like sleeping on an airplane or drowning out the girlfriend(s), don't waste the money, these are not built for that.
I would recommend these to any musician looking for a cheap(ish) alternative to hearing the constant ringing in their ears (we've all been there, it sucks) without losing complete fidelity characteristic of foam plugs or industrial muffs.
- Purchased these for a gift - recipient says these work really well and they are much more comfortable than the other alternative earplugs.
- These are so much nicer than regular triple-flange earplugs. (Which I use all the time at work.)
I haven't been to a concert with these yet, but mowing the lawn is much more pleasant when you hear all things simply "turned down." That as opposed to having some sounds muffled in a frustrating way that makes you want to take your earplugs out to be able to hear better.
The paper that comes with these describes how the company's noise reduction rating is higher (around the same as most earplugs) than the OSHA "official" testing that they have printed and advertised. I believe they are right. Getting the plugs in up to the third flange reduces the noise just as much as my "plain" earplugs. It just takes a little wiggling to get them into a comfortable position, as they have a hard plastic section where you grab them.

5 comments about Philips PH-61153 4x1 Automatic Video Selector and RF Modulator.
- I've been using this new video device for a few weeks now and love the auto-switching feature. It works like a charm. Messed up a bit at first (cause I didn't read the instructions) but it seems that port 1 has the lowest priority; go figure. The video pass-through quality is excellent. It has allowed me to start using too many electronics (DVD, XBOX, VCR - yeah, I know, there are still a few of us out there that use one )...
- Shipping was fast.
I have two game consoles and my digital converter box connected to this and it works great. I have it set to automatic switch and it recognizes the input as soon as I turn it on.
The picture quality is as good as you can expect for an analog TV.
The only Con I could possibly see is that it's slightly bulky, otherwise it works as expected.
Great product.
- This product works exactly as it was intended. I have a five year old 36 inch TV and the video and audio quality is great. The product switches automatically as advertised, once you figured out which input has priority. I would recommend this product for anyone who wants to connect game consoles, cable/satellite, and DVD players.
- Got one of these for a 32 inch HDTV that I wanted to connect a separate VCR and DVD Player to, and also from time to time a laptop computer (the HDTV works as a computer monitor also) and video games for the kids. Basically the unit does what the ad says. It has 4 sets of INPUT jacks (RCA and S Video), 3 sets on the back and 1 set on the front, and 1 set of OUTPUT jacks (also RCA and S Video). Wired it up and it works fine with one minor (to me) exception, and that is I cannot get the MODE to change (the MODE button is supposed to let you manually select the input for the TV, or set it on automatic, or set it on scan). Mine came already set to automatic and it works fine, but I would just like the option of setting it to manual. 4 stars. Would buy again if needed.
- This video selector works well. A good solution to connect to a number of video sources. It would be even better if it could have more input capacity. It did take time to read the instructions to prioritize my connection. Now I can switch to my laptop, DVD player, TV receiver and Wii console in a second.
