5 comments about Sony MDR-E818LP Fontopia Ear-Bud Headphones with Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuit.
- I have tried various ear-bud headphones and I almost always get disappointed. These headphones are a very good exception. They have very good lows compare to others. They certainly blow away the headphones that come with the iPod Nano. They are comfortable to wear, even without the little sponges.
- I purchased these headphones because as a transcriptionist, the large around-ear headset I usually use was giving me some pretty bad headaches due to allergy issues I have.
These earbuds have excellent sound, but I agree with other reviewers who said they can be a bit uncomfortable to wear after a while because of their odd, slightly teardroppish shape. It's not bad at all; just a bit uncomfortable after extended use.
I would highly recommend these, though. If they'd get rid of that strange shape, these would be perfect for most people for extended, everyday use. However, I wear these things for eight or 10 hours or more at a time, and theyve never been more than slightly uncomfortable and the sound is always excellent. Though I'm going to try a different style next time just to see what's out there, I would buy these again if I needed a pair right away. I'll probably pick up another pair of these just to have a reliable backup.
The cord could be a bit longer - I dont know why manufacturers make these cords so short - but it's long enough to suit me most of the time (just barely long enough to wear with my MP3 player in my pocket, so it could be six inches longer to be perfect). Best part about the styling is that these have a Y-shaped cord instead of those incredibly annoying behind-the-head cords, and that was the major selling point of these things to me. I have tried a number of behind-the-head designs and every one of them I either gave away or discarded because they just won't stay in my ears and they were unbelievably uncomfortable to wear.
For the money, these are the best earbuds I've ever owned, and I'd easily pay $20 for them. You won't be throwing your money away on these!
- Yesterday I bought them from Ross for 5.99 +tax. The packaging was quite attractive. It says deep bass, frequency response 12-22000. I needed an additional pair for my Meizu MP3 player or to use them with my laptop at work. When I opened package they looked not bad, not completely roundly shaped but fitted well into my ears (medium size). When I plugged them into my Meizu player I was initially stunned... It sounded so awful, I could not believe...I plugged back original Meizu earpieces (the same type as these) and I heard nice clear sound with a lot of bass, midrange and clear percussions ...(playing AC/DC) I plugged Sony back and tried to boost bass on the player...it didn't helped much...I listen to all kind music including Classical, Rock, Heavy, Pop, Reggae and so on...If you ok with these headphones you are depriving yourself from a music listening experience ...Just spend few extra bucks and buy something better...So far I like the ones that came with Meizu (Meizu brand) and I also got myself Koss SportaPro recently...sound very good for the money. Skip the Sony. I will try to return them back to the store...
- For the price you cant beat the comfort and sound quality these offer. I wanted a pair that matched the comfort quality of the PSP headphones, which are the best bud-style I've ever tried. These are nearly as good. They sound quite decent too, which of course is as important.
My only complaint is the cord could be a little longer - I use these for my PC at work, and find the length a little lacking.
- these headphones are amazing for the price but the reason why i knock off one star is because i want to be fair to the customers and let you guys know its not perfect, ive had it for years and it still works it went through a lot from getting pulled out my ear,sat on,yanked from mp3 jack, sitting in a bad temperature room, all of that beating up i did to it and it still works.these are the real deal and the bass is decent and excellent treble, comes with foam cover for comfort fit,SONY is the way to go.

5 comments about Logitech Pure-Fi Elite High-Performance Stereo System for iPod (Black).
- I purchased my unit in July, 2008. Have had it approx. 1 month now w/ no regrets. Research-wise, I did the things shoppers typically do. Went to the major electronic stores, plugged my nano into the available offerings (of which there were quite a few), and was generally very disappointed in the less than desireable sounds (absence of decent bass and barely adequate treble) emanating from the units priced between $80 - $150. The Bose system was significantly better, but at $300 it had better be. I wrote off those other systems costing over $300, thinking there MUST be something that provides greater value for my dollars.
I spent several hours on-line sifting thru reviews (those here at Amazon, and at other reputable audio review sites). One item kept popping up w/ very positive reviews, the Pure-Fi Elite.
During my research it appeared that the reason this unit doesn't appear on the major electronic stores' shelves, may have had something to do w/ it's predecessor's issues w/ faulty control buttons. Issues that seemed to have been resolved w/ this model.
While normally reluctant to buy an electronic device w/out having test driven it first, the overwhelmingly positive reviews given at multiple sites led me to take a chance and go for it.
My findings:
*The bass produced by the 4" woofers is FAR better than those $150 units that I test drove at the stores. I find the bass to be comparable to that of the $300 Bose. And I do like the fact that you can easily adjust the treble and bass to your liking.
*Despite an earlier review referring to a "bad smell" when first removed from the box, I failed to notice any repugnant smell. Nor did my son (whose sense of smell falls just short of that of a bloodhound run out of the room crying foul.)
*The power block is relatively large (just short of being the size of a brick), but it doesn't weigh anything near what a brick weighs. The block sits in the middle of two relatively long cords that lead to the power source and the unit itself -- which allowed me to hide same behind a small piece of bedroom furniture, so I never notice it.
Set-up was easy, the remote works very well. I like the fact that the unit is relatively heavy as compared to the other units I tried out (offtimes the additional weight can be attributed to heavier magnets that make up the woofers -- a good thing). It more than adequately fills my 20x20 bedroom w/ non-distorted sound.
In short, I am very pleased w/ this unit. Performance and reliability has been great, and on a price/value scale, this unit definitely surpasses the others. Now if I can just keep my boys from borrowing this unit from me I'll be alright.
- I am very pleased with my new Logitech Pure-Fi Elite. This unit puts out good quality sound and the remote control is superior to many other iPOD players I have used. When comparing iPOD players the remote control is very important because you use it all the time. This player is every bit the equal to the Bose Soundock, which is over double the price of the Logitech Pure-Fi Elite. The Pure-Fi Elite is great for a bedroom, kitchen countertop or home office. I use mine mainly in the kitchen. It will not replace a stereo system powered by a dedicated audio receiver and separate speakers. The speakers play loud enough for most rock music lovers in a typical bedroom.
The unit includes a digital AM/FM tuner but it will only sound good when receiving strong FM signals.
Another nice feature is the digital display which shows the time and the station frequency when listening to the radio. You can set the brightness on the digital display which is useful if you want to keep the Logitech in your bedroom. Overall the Pure-Fi Elite is a great value for the price.
- Only con is that the remote isn't as capable as others I've used, but for the price, the sound is great. You can go with Bose for about another $100-$150 and the sound is slightly better, but this one sounds great for what I paid ($140 I think?). Keep in mind, it does not have battery power. Go with the pure-fi anywhere if you want battery powered.
- I've had this system for about a month and am really impressed with it. THe sound is as good, if not better, than the Bose sound dock. I like the remote a lot, and the price was great.
- I just received my Logitech Pure-Fi Elite, set up was effortless and idiot proof. Between the listed retail and the actual price paid at Amazon, saved about $185.00....Couldn't be happier with any procuct.Sound is great for such a small unit.Would happily recommend this unit to anyone with any type of ipod including all the new generations....

5 comments about Sennheiser CX 500-B In-Ear Headphone (Black).
- These headphones are great. I cannot believe that something so small could sound this good. I was concerned that these could be fakes due to the extremely low price ($33.00) but they are not. I looked for the differences I read online between the fakes and originals and they are original. I also spoke with the seller at Blue Skies Electronics and she not only assured me that these were original, she gave me two website addresses that explained how to tell the fakes from the originals. Great product, great service, great experience.
- I can't remember the last product that I purchased in which I posted a review about. My Sennheiser CX500's were delivered a few days ago and I felt compelled to post this. If I can get just 1 person to give these a try, I'll be happy.
My first set of inner ear headphones were the Ultimate Ears super.fi 3's. I bought these back in January. Ultimately, I learned what I really wanted in an inner ear monitor and the failures of the UE's led me to purchase the Senn CX 500's.
Comfort: No comparison here, whatsoever. The UE's were big, clunky, and just never fit right regardless of the attachment I used. They lost their seal constantly even when just sitting on the subway (Inner Ear Monitors MUST keep it's seal or they sound worse than your Apple issued ear buds) The Senn's are SMALL, light weight and just stay in nice and snug regardless of what I'm doing. You forget you are even wearing them. They hold seal but in a much more comfortable way than the UEs. The UEs felt like they were violating my ear drum and it was painful some times! Seal is extremely important to me because I ride the NYC subway every day to work and it is the true test of noise canceling phones. Not sure there is a noisier ride anywhere else on the planet. You can hear your music at a low volume. AMAZING!
Sound: Of course, the most important thing when buying ear phones. Because the Senn's stay in the your ear with a nice comfortable seal, they sound AMAZING. Unbelievably crisp, clear, with the perfect balance between treble and bass. They sound extremely sharp. Remember, seal is the most important thing with IEMs are the seal and the Senn's achieve this with ease. My UEs, when sealed sounded real good but still not close to the Senn's. UE's site boasts you will be hearing your music for the first time! Sorry, I disagree. All I heard was more bass than usual. First song I listened to with my Senn's, I actually thought to myself, "Hey I never recognized that backup quitar riff." Hands down, these sound unbelievable!
Other Specs: The cord length is perfect. I'm a tall dude and when I use my iPod, it goes into my front pocket. The cord reaches without trouble and has the perfect amount of slack. You could easily throw your iPod into a backpack or purse without any pull on your ears. Again, unlike some phones when the cord seems to be 15 feet in length creating unnecessary slack, these don't. 4 feet is the sweet spot. Also, there is a volume slider right on the cord. So, when someone taps me on the shoulder to say something I don't have to pull my iPod from my pocket to pause the music. Just slide the volume down right on the cord and you're all set!
Value: I bought these from J&R Electronics off of Amazon for $59.99. My UE's cost me $79.99 from Amazon. Needless to say, the value of these phones are like paying $15 bucks for a steak only to receive the filet. You simply cannot beat that price for such high quality phones. You also get a real nice 2 year warranty on these.
Recommendation: If you haven't already caught my drift here, I cannot recommend these more highly. If all the above points I mentioned matter to you, these are a must buy. I am thrilled with these and I know you will be too.
- If you are like me you've already poured over a lot of reviews trying to figure out which earbuds are the best for your money, these are definitely it. I am a huge fan of music and listen to A LOT of different types (rap, all kinds of rock, even country and classical sometimes) these headphones sounded amazing with all of them. One of the major factors in the sound is the FIT and these amazing headphones come with 6 different fittings, yes 6 pairs (2 different kinds of pairs of each size S, M, L). If you are like me and love listening to music, and you are ready to take the next step in your listening experience from those same $20 earbuds/headphones you see everyday in bestbuy or wherever else then spring for these, you will not regret it. highs, mids, and lows are great the sound is so clear and crisp, you can really see the difference with these. Sennheiser is quality. I was able to get these for $60 shipped and it has been one of the best investments in my music enjoyment for a long time.
- Great with excellent service. They got this out and to me promptly and without any thanks
- these earphones fit well into my larger external auditory canals.
the sound is muffled and distorted with most of my more rangey mp3 songs at the very high or low range on my new ipod touch. these mp3 songs are mostly recorded at 128 bits, which is just good enough and detailed enough for limited or crummy headphones.
for more sophisticated headphone like my etymo 3's or these sennheisers, they only sound good with apple's i tunes at 256 bits.
so beware when you play these with anything but rap or classical music at 128 bits, as you will think your headphones have a busted speaker, like i did( i even sent the entymo3's back to the company, until i figured this out.)
believe me, if you have any discerning ear for music with any voice or dynamic range, you must upgrade to 256 bits for these more sensitive earphones.
they also do not deaden ambient sound as well as my foam plugs on the etymo 3s, as i discovered in airplane rides.

5 comments about Sony Mdr-As50G Active Style Spiral Neck-Band Headphones (Silver).
- These headphones work out pretty good, sound is acceptable for headphones of this size, they stay on good while running and moving around a lot. The one thing I don't like about the fit is instead of resting on the top of your ears like most behind the head headphone the create small pressure point on the back of your head where the band hits. Its not uncomfortable just different.
- After the cord of my previous Sony headphones, Sony Mdr-Ex75/Blk Ex Earbuds Headphones with 9Mm Hi-Sensitivity Driver (Black), fell apart I decided to upgrade to a similar model. The previous Sony's had problems with staying in your ears, especially when exercising. Additionally, since all the weight of the cord is off to one side, the cord eventually fell apart making the headphones useless.
The MDR-AS50G headphones have been a fantastic replacement! They sound just as good as any other Sony in-ear headphones and they actually stay in your ears no matter how much you move around. They're very comfortable too! Much more so than than traditional buds. The spiral design also makes them almost as compact as traditional earbuds. This product is perfect for anyone who likes to exercise and wants the deep base and clarity of in-ear headphones.
My only complaint, and the reason I gave this product 4 stars, is that the design of the cord can be quite annoying. The short length is designed for using your MP3 player with an armband, and its too short to use it for anything else. The extension cord makes the the cord length far too long to be practical, and its also pretty heavy. In order to keep my iPod in my pocket, I have to stuff a lot of the cord into my pocket because its just too long. The product does come with a clip to help combat the extra weight of the extension cord, but I feel that this whole problem could be solved with just one cord length.
Pros:
- great sound quality, deep bass, very clear
- stays in your ears during any activity
- very compact and easy to store
- comfortable
Cons:
- cord length
- I've been searching for a headset to go with my iPod Nano that can actually handle a real workout. This seemed like a good idea so I gave it a shot. To my surprise, they work amazingly well! I'm not an audiophile, but they sound fine to me. They stay put even when running many miles and the headband part is soft so I can still wear them when working the bench. The cord is a good size without the included extension if you are using an armband for your iPod. The clip that attaches to the sleeve is also a nice touch to keep from pulling the cord out of your iPod if the workout gets a little too intense!
- I ordered these headphones to use at the gym and while running. I like the spring loaded headband idea, and the ear buds aren't too bad. Sound was acceptable for exercise use (not Hi-Fi by any means). The cord has a nice feature where you can adjust where it exits. Nice features all around. The problem for me was the headphone would sag, causing the arm holding the earbud to put pressure on my ear. Not horrible, could probably even lear to live with it, but for $50, I'd rather find something else. I was less than impressed with the carry case too. I didn't expect much, but it is pretty much impossible to get the headset in the case quickly. Not a deal killer though.
- These headphones are almost exactly what I was looking for. I wanted headphones that don't go over the top of my head since that would mess up my hair while commuting and get in the way of my helmet when cycling. Also, typical buds ALWAYS fall out of my ear...I guess my ears are just shaped funny. These headphones always stay comfortably in my ear and appear to be quite durable. Having said that, the sound quality isn't as good as I hoped. The headphones aren't very loud and if you crank them up, the sound is a bit distorted and lacks richness. Overall I am happy with the headphones, I just wish the sound quality was a bit better.

5 comments about Sennheiser HD-595 Premier Headphone.
- I've had these headphones for over a year now and still adore them. I did quite a bit of research on this range of headphones and am still satisfied.
My only slight negative is the cord "could" present a problem if you were to stress it since it does not plug in to the actual headset. The cord is long and you have to be mindful of where it is if you use it at a desk with a wheeled chair.
Extremely comfortable for the size. The sound is amazing to me.
- I actually have the HD580 headphone. But about a year and a half after ordering them from Amazon, the plastic headband part (that holds the thing together) broke. Mind you, I baby my headphones so it wasn't a result of abuse or anything like that. I realized these puppies had a 2 year warranty, so I shipped them back to S and after a week and a half, I had a good to go set waiting on my doorstep. So not only do they sound great, but you can bet you'll get top notch warranty service.
- I love the sound of these headphones. I listen to various types of music - these headphones are clear, the low end is distinct and not boomy - the bass sounds 'blossom' forth in a space all their own without muddying up anything else.
Of course these are not headphones to block out the rest of the world - the design is open and you will hear extraneous sounds. That is the nature of the design.
For quality listening in a quiet environment, I'm not sure how much 'goodness' one could really gain by spending more money.
They are plenty loud on a iPOD without an amplifier - however I use them with a small headphone amp and they sound fantastic. As others have said, the adapter will place a strain on your headphone jack, so pick up one of the suggested extension cables so you don't have to plug the big adapter into your headphone jack.
- These are great headphones.
Only downside is, I use them for V-Drums and they start to "crack" and "pop" with low tones at moderate volume.
- I bought these headphones primarily to use when on trips, to use with my iPod. So far though, I have only used them with my home system. I have probably listened to 35 - 40 albums, both directly from CD, and from 256KBS MP3 sources. My experience so far has been a bit disappointing.
Based on the reviews that I read here at Amazon, and my previous impressions from listening to music on headphones, I expected to be blown away. That just didn't happen. I have a modest system at home, comprised of a middle level Yamaha 7.1 receiver, a pair of $750 front speakers, a pair of $550 rear speakers, with two SVS 16-46 subs driven by an 1,100 WRMS power amp. The sound of this system has been generally pleasing.
I expected outstanding clarity, with solid mid and high response from the Senns, and with good to excellent bass, compared to my full system. What I have gotten is a somewhat compressed sound. Highs are not at all sparkling. Mids lack punch. Bass is compressed and very lacking in extension.
I guess that after spending > $180 on a set of headphones, I expected more.

5 comments about iPod mini Battery Replacement Kit - 750 mAh.
- Battery works great, however, the instructions are only for replacing the battery in an iPod Photo 1st - 4th generations and video. This is a confusing listing. The actual product title is for a 750mAh battery, whle a the description keeps mentioning a 650mAh. What I actually got was an 850mAh. It's always better to get more then less. Satisfied. The tools work great. You'd be hard pressed to find anything you already have in your garage that do the trick as well as the ones here.
*****DO YOUR RESEARCH AND LEARN EVERYTHING YOU CAN BEFORE REPLACING YOUR IPOD BATTERY!*****
Replacing the battery is only cheaper if you know what you're doing. Otherwise you could end up replacing the entire iPod itself.
- I saved about $60 by replacing the battery on my ipod mini myself. Very easy to do. I found a step by step video on Cnet.com on how to replace the battery and it worked perfectly.
- Pro's:
1. Great price
2. I was shipped an 850mAh battery, not the 750mAh mentioned in the title, or the 600mAh as stated in the detailed description (I should therefore have longer play time between charges - a good thing!)
3. Contrary to other reviews, the front of the package clearly states "For ipod mini", even though, as you'll read in the "Cons", the instructions are incorrect.
Cons:
1. You do NOT get the magical iOpener as described (but a pocket knife helps a great deal)
2. The instructions in the package are for the ipod video, NOT the ipod mini (but you can find videos on youtube for how to get the job done).
The details:
After googling and finding a couple of videos on youtube, it was *relatively* easy to replace the battery. You do need to be careful with the "molex" connector, as the orange thin plastic is ***NOT*** where you should be pulling. That thin plastic is connected to a white, hard plastic connector, and THAT'S what you need to get your tiny screwdriver to pry against. Also, as stated by others, there is a bit of a trick to slide the guts back into the case. It does need to be helped passed the touch pad by gently prying the unit down, away from the keypad while sliding. Once you're passed the edge, the unit slides all the way back into the case, no problem.
In terms of getting the top and bottom covers off, since there's no iOpener as described (a bummer for sure), I used a blow dryer to heat the unit (it softens the glue), and a pocketknife to gently, and slowly peel the top and bottom off. very little, if any damage.
All that said, I agree with others. This is not for the faint of heart. If you've never opened up an electrical device before, I wouldn't recommend doing this. Just one wrong move with the Molex connector or the battery connector, and your ipod becomes a hockey puck.
- I ordered the iPod Mini Battery Replacement Kit from The Battery Center which took roughly a week to arrive in the mail. Under the recommendation of several other Amazon reviewers, I skipped the packaged directions and went directly to Cnet.com for video instructions on how to replace the battery. The step-by-step video instructions were very easy to follow and took me no more than 10 mins to replace the battery.
Recommendation - before putting your iPod back together, make sure to remove all dust particles that may have gotten within the interior sections of the iPod, especially from the iPod's viewing screen. Otherwise you're going to have to look at a bunch of dust each time you use your iPod, plus I'm pretty sure having dust within the interior of the iPod isn't good.
Con - removing the plastic from the top and bottom of the iPod with the flathead screwdriver did damage my iPod a little bit. You have to be very patient as it will take some time to pry off. I'm someone who takes very good care of my electronics so I was disappointed about that.
- I brought this battery for my iPod mini. After I opened it, I found the installation instruction was for the iPod Classic. Undeterred, I went to cnet.com and found a 3-part videos on how to replace the battery on a iPod mini. For me, I prefer video over little text any day of the week. The videos were great, still it was difficult to replace (be very patience and little coaching help), and eventually got it working nicely. So, 4 stars for me.

5 comments about Philips SHE9850 In-Ear Headphones with Advanced Acoustics.
- I haven't had a good pair of earbuds (or even headphones) since I was a child. Most of the time I used whatever came with the portable electronic product (which was usually very low-end), and it was adequate for my usage. A few years ago I started to travel more and used noise cancelling headphones (NOT Bose, JVC and a few others). I was very happy with the quality of the sound as well as the quietness which these offered. However, the bulk is quite annoying-I travel frequently by train for day trips to Washington DC, and the NC headphones took up too much of my briefcase space. Then along came the Philips SHE9850 in-ear headphones. Again, I don't have much else to judge it by, but the Philips have both excellent sound reproduction as well as (because of their earbud nature) noise deadening abilities. I can use these on a train or plane and as long as some music or sound is being played these function as well as bulky NC headphones for sleeping on overnight flights, or deadening out the low-level, constant humming.
I usually listen to opera, Abba and language instruction tapes.
- Pros: Sound excellent, clear and detail, bass could be better but expected from reading other reviews. It comes with nice little metal case. The silicon plug are so air tight you actually can feel air pressure in you ear (this could be a cons), and that acts like a passive noise cancelling, blocks about 80% of high freq noise. Personally I like the included memeory foam plug which feels much better, yet still blocks some noise. Price at sub-$100 is not bad for the quality
Cons: Not a lot of places sell them, I can only find Amazon. Because of that I am not sure where I can find replacement for the memory foam attachment plugs that phillips recommendss to replace every 3 months! It could use a softer wire, but I have seen worse in much more expensive brand. Softer wire == less noise when the wire is moved around with the silicon attachment. Foam doesn't seem to have that problem.
- Souns OK and a nice case with multiple earbuds to choose from. Problem was, none were very comfortable for me. I would have expected better quality buds for this price.
- One of the better "in-ear" Headphones I've tried. Not all in-ear phones fit me, but the nice soft rubber fits and holds pretty well. The sound is very good, crisp highs and full bodied lows. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality and great sounding in-ear headphone.
- The sound of these headphones is excellent, and they do a great job of cutting out external noise. None of the four included tips fit my ears very well but the sound is good enough that I decided to keep them. They are also nice-looking and lightweight.

5 comments about Incipio Leather Flip Case for Zune 80/120 GB (Black).
- Another reviewer commented on how the "leather" apeared fake - and Incipio told him to burn it to see how it smells to prove that it is. Well folks...I did the burn test - it's definitely fake fake fake. For one thing...it kept burning and growing rapidly...real leather takes quite a bit to get it going. Another thing is that it smells more like burning Styrofoam or Legos than it does Leather. I was at a burn test for some airline seats (needed to get FAA approval) and there is NO mistaking the smell of burning leather.
Also, I noticed how thin the material is where it wraps around at the corners...it's really, really hard to get leather to be paper thin and durable.
Unfortunately, despite the shoddy workmanship and deceptive description, it's still the best case out there - at lest for my needs. I was also less than thrilled with the fact that it came in a little bit of plastic wrap - no box, nothing....but my girlfriend just bought one and her's is in a box so there's some progress at least!
Time to go order another one!
- This item protects the screen of the Zune and is very nice. I only wish the belt clip were a bit longer and could swivel. The case fits perfectly on the Zune; holding it tightly in place, and yes..... I have dropped my Zune. Thank God for the case. I don't know why there are negative reviews here; the USPS delivered mine quickly and my case appears to be leather with suede. For approx. $20.00, it's a great buy.
- This is probably the best case I've seen for the Zune 80. It's durable, it's nice looking, and you are able to access all your Zune's ports while it's on.
- I previously owned an earlier version of the Zune, which was a larger size than the new 80 gb model. I had an Incipio case for that Zune that I was quite happy with. I ordered a new Incipio case for the my smaller 80Gb Zune, but was quite disappointed with the workmanship for this product. Although the leather seems to be of reasonable quality, the assembly and stitching was awful. The plastic cover is sewn on crooked.
I thought it would be easy to get this obviously defective product replaced. But the vendor's policy on returns is that it must be processed within two weeks, which seems like a ridiculously short time period. (I was on vacation and didnt get a chance to look this product over until two weeks after it arrived.) So now I'm stuck with this defective product. Dont make the same mistake I did.
- It works, it's durable, and it doesn't seem like it will break, unlike the acryllic zune case.
The only downside would probably be that the belt clip doesn't twist like on the acryllic one, but at least I am confident that the clip won't just pop off and let the zune go flying!

- The ear buds are too big, and as a result are painful to use. The sound quality is terrible to boot, skip this product.
- The earhooks do not fit over the ear and therefore the earbuds do not sit inside the ear. As a result of this complete lack of intelligent design, the sound quality is very poor. I am sorry I purchased these and strongly urge you to NOT purchase these earhooks.
- I actually bought these earphones a long time ago, but I just want to pitch in my 2 cents. The sound quality of these earphones are great. I don't care about the 20-20,000 Hz frequency response being labeled on the package because my previous Koss earphones had the exact same frequency response, but the quality was extremely low.
I also have bigger ears than normal (iPod earphones easily slip out), so the earhook on these earphones are a lifesaver. Unfortunately I accidentally stepped on my left earphone while jumping a fence and the earphone broke off of the hook. Surprisingly, the earphones still work as they did when I got them new! So not only are these earphones great quality, they are also durable! I have a bit of trouble now putting in my left earphone since I have to make sure both the earphone is in my ear and the earhook is around my ear, but it's well worth the (very little) effort! I will certainly buy these earphones again should my current ones die.
- I used to burn through headphones all the time with my ipod. I got a pair of the black ones last fall and am still using them. This is simply a great headphone for the cost. Excellent range of volume. Stays is my ear for the most part when I'm out jogging or biking. For ten dollars, probably less, I have no regrets or second guesses about this product. The reason I am buying a new one is that the plastic covering near the splitter is off, now exposing the wires. Then again, this has after the countless times of tossing them in a packback, pocket, wrapped around the ipod.
Again, for the cost, this is the best headphones that you can find.
- I haven't tried a bunch of earhook models before, but when I tried these on it was love at first touch. It was like a match made in heaven. All the days of those ear buds falling off were a thing of the past. If you were to watch the notebook, I can promise you that the interaction between me and my earphones was not nearly as passionate. But I can promise this: This is hands down the best (and ONLY) earhooks I have got for the time being. 'Nuff Said.
