5 comments about Philips SHS3201/37 Flexible Earhook w/ Bud -White.
- The ear buds are too big, and as a result are painful to use. The sound quality is terrible to boot, skip this product.
- The earhooks do not fit over the ear and therefore the earbuds do not sit inside the ear. As a result of this complete lack of intelligent design, the sound quality is very poor. I am sorry I purchased these and strongly urge you to NOT purchase these earhooks.
- I actually bought these earphones a long time ago, but I just want to pitch in my 2 cents. The sound quality of these earphones are great. I don't care about the 20-20,000 Hz frequency response being labeled on the package because my previous Koss earphones had the exact same frequency response, but the quality was extremely low.
I also have bigger ears than normal (iPod earphones easily slip out), so the earhook on these earphones are a lifesaver. Unfortunately I accidentally stepped on my left earphone while jumping a fence and the earphone broke off of the hook. Surprisingly, the earphones still work as they did when I got them new! So not only are these earphones great quality, they are also durable! I have a bit of trouble now putting in my left earphone since I have to make sure both the earphone is in my ear and the earhook is around my ear, but it's well worth the (very little) effort! I will certainly buy these earphones again should my current ones die.
- I used to burn through headphones all the time with my ipod. I got a pair of the black ones last fall and am still using them. This is simply a great headphone for the cost. Excellent range of volume. Stays is my ear for the most part when I'm out jogging or biking. For ten dollars, probably less, I have no regrets or second guesses about this product. The reason I am buying a new one is that the plastic covering near the splitter is off, now exposing the wires. Then again, this has after the countless times of tossing them in a packback, pocket, wrapped around the ipod.
Again, for the cost, this is the best headphones that you can find.
- I haven't tried a bunch of earhook models before, but when I tried these on it was love at first touch. It was like a match made in heaven. All the days of those ear buds falling off were a thing of the past. If you were to watch the notebook, I can promise you that the interaction between me and my earphones was not nearly as passionate. But I can promise this: This is hands down the best (and ONLY) earhooks I have got for the time being. 'Nuff Said.

5 comments about Linksys WVC54GCA Webcam 640x480 802.11G Wireless Internet Home Monitoring Camera.
- This product is worthless! The software that comes with it is pathetic when it doesn't crash and it crashes A LOT! Do not buy this product.
- I like to think I'm a very technical and patient person and I really tried my best to like this camera - it was Linksys and Cisco, huge companies that should have done a better job. The camera stopped responding after a few hours (which others have reported here) so I traded it in for a new one, which did the same thing. Tech support recommended reinstalling the same firmware from their website, which worked, then FTP of motion detection stopped working. Tech support couldn't resolve that issue - somebody here said about the username not being able to contain an underscore, that may have been it. The motion detection didn't detect motion half the time, and you couldn't FTP non-motion images (like a normal webcam). After buying two cameras and sinking about 15 hours into troubleshooting, I gave up and am looking for another brand of IP camera.
- Very good product for the money. Motion detector is a bit too sensitive, no matter how much I lower the sensitivity, otherwise a good product and easy to set up.
- This camera is great for the money, it sets up easy and has many options. Audio, moible streaming and the ability to embed your camera into a web page are a few of the great features found on this camera. there is a working example of a live feed, plus image examples on this site. [...]
- I wanted to use this as my security camera which would take pictures and email over the internet. The setup needs someone familiar with IT routing. I gave up for now but it works good for streaming video wirelessly.

5 comments about Cables To Go - 21062 - 6ft 3.5mm M/M Stereo Audio Cable (Black).
- I ordered this cable and when I used it (instead of the other Radio Shack cable I own) it produced washed out, incomplete audio and constant hum from the subwoofer of my Klipsch IFI system. So it was 5 bucks down the tubes. Maybe it was a fluke. You be the judge.
- I got this to listen to my mp3 player through the car stereo. I just left it in the car and after a few weeks it got a short in it. It might do ok if it's not in the heat and moved around as much, but I'm pretty dissapointed. The good thing is it was only $5 down the drain.
- Frankly, with today's gadgets, I run into the issue where I want to run my MP3 played to a computer, or into a car stereo player. This little cable really works for me!
My cable arrived in great condition, and was shipped with no issues. The cable itself has good insulation, and feels heavier than most light wires used for audio cables like this. What I really like is that it is the solid round cable, and it does not use that cheap, flimsy dual wire to connect the heads.
The connectors are a nice and snug fit in all of my audio devices, and I get great sound quality from them. I really found this item to be really useful, and a great buy! The price was awesome too!
- The Cables To Go 6ft 3.5mm M/M Stereo Audio Cable was delivered as promised, on time, and appeared to be in good shape. But the quality of the product is not good. The cable was purchased for use in connecting an MP3 player to the audio jack on a car stereo. After only a couple of weeks, the sound quality started to drop off. We wondered if the connection was bad, so we disconnected and reconnected the plug, but that didn't solve the problem. It turns out that the cable has a break somewhere inside the plastic coating and the only way to get the proper sound quality is to keep moving the cable until it gets to a position where the wires connect. The cable was cheap, so it's not worth trying to send it back and get a refund.
- The sound quality gets scratchy if you move the cord. You can't move the cord too much

5 comments about Shure SE110 Sound Isolating Earphone with Balanced Armature Driver (Black).
- Pros: Fairly descent sound across the board and fairly comfortable too.
Cons: For $100 not a BIG difference from standard iPod earbuds.
This is a comparison to the standard earbuds that come with the iPod Touch, SE110's and the Bose in ear headphones. The Bose (which I just returned) had good BASS to them but they had really flat & muddy sounding highs & mids. The SE110's are fairly comfortable with varying ear pieces to create the proper fit. This is very important. You need to create the proper seal to get the best sound and sound isolation. The sound is honestly only SLIGHTLY better than the standard iPod earbuds. That's mainly because of the outside noise that they block (which the earbuds don't). I wouldn't say these are worth $70 more than the standard earbuds (which cost $30). Just a small improvement across the board from typical earbuds. The sound is equal and clean (from Bass to Mids to Highs). The bass could be stronger though. The Bose are much stronger in that area. In general if your looking for sound isolation and only a slight improvement over standard earbuds these might be for you. For me their going back. I guess more $$$$ are needed to get something good. From what I've read it sounds like "Westone UM2's" are the way to go. Awesome sound & comfort.
- The Shure SE110s are excellent earbuds for the casual listener, however the more discerning listener and the amateur audiophile should probably go for more expensive Shures.
First, the build quality on these earbuds is fantastic. I have owned various in-ear earbuds prior to my purchase of these Shures and I have always had each one lose their electrical conductivity between the wire and the driver in the earbud. The Shures are designed to withstand this flaw as the wire leading into the earbud is meshed with a strong rubbery frame that covers the outside of the earbud.
Second, sound quality is very good but not perfect. The SE-110s have very strong mid-frequencies but weaker lower and higher frequencies. The bass and lower frequencies in these earbuds are clean and well-defined but not as strong or as deep as competing earbuds. I have also found that the SE-110s have trouble with frequencies below 65Hz. I have managed to push them to produce a satisfying rumble at 30 Hz but as a result, the mid and higher frequencies become extremely distorted. However with EQ adjustments, the Shure's bass and high treble frequencies can be boosted to compensate for these minor shortcomings. Overall, the sound quality in the Shures are definitely a level above the sound quality that you get in ordinary iPod earbuds and are, in many areas, on par with similar Bose products.
Third, the sound isolation is so effective, I frequently miss phone calls as I can no longer hear my cellphone ring when I have the SE-110s in my ears. This often results in funny stares from people around me while I'm listening in public. The SE-110 employs an included fit-kit complete with three different sizes of rubber and foam tips. I have found the foam tips to offer slightly better sound isolation and better comfort than the rubber tips but they can be a bit tricky and require a little practice to place them properly in your ears.
Overall, the Shure SE-110s are an excellent upgrade from the standard iPod earbuds and offer incredible sound isolation, decent sound quality, and are solidly built to last.
- Thanks for everyone's helpful reviews. To begin, I like to hear warm, rich sound. Bass is the soul of music--crucial to any good headphones.
These Shures have clear sound that is very flat--it is not rich, it is clear though. The sound isolation of the buds is excellent; the sounds of the NYC subway are blocked out incredibly well.
The cord management of these headphones is brilliant.
The sound is pretty bad for what they cost. Personally, I prefer the Bose in-ears. Their sound is excellently balanaced, they give music some life. These are blaaaaaah. Definitely gonna return them.
- Perfect sound cancellation and with all the different foam bud sizes, it was easy to find the perfect fit. They stay in your ears very well, even when jogging. They are worth every penny.
- pretty nice product. Initially concerned that there was no bass. When I played around with the ear tips, I found that the medium one fit and provided better bass and isolation. play around with the tips.

5 comments about Maxell HP20 Headphone Extension Cord with Adapters.
- They are mostly what you'd expect but the connections appear to be steel and lack gold plating unlike all my other connectors. It has the usual adapters but it's missing a matching mini to 1/4" one for headphones or additional cables that use 1/4" plugs. Cost is probably similar to what it would be at Walmart or Super Target IF you have one nearby but the shipping was free. Since it's from Maxell the warrantee actually has meaning since they'll still be around in a few months unlike if you buy one of the generic options from Amazon.com or elsewhere. I took off a star just because gold plating would have been slightly better but if you don't care then consider it as a 4 star product.
- This is a great product, good adapters, works very well. The extension cord is great......works perfect for me.
- I'm using the cable right now to listen to music and it sounds great. I guess some people like the fact that it's a coiled cable and therefore extensible. I personally wish it was 20 feet of straight cable. The coiling can be a little annoying. But for $10, who am I to complain? It even comes with several adapters, including an airline adapter. All in all, a great deal.
- The Maxell HP20 headphone extension is excellent. The cord is well insulated and provides a long range of extension. You get true stereo imaging that is not interrupted when the cord or connector is moved around. The handy adapters cover all types of uses and even has an airplane headset adapter. The most useful one for me, is the dual headphone splitter adapter. It allows 2 persons to receive audio through whatever component simultaneously so as not to disturb others when late night viewing or the like. I highly recommend this item and will be purchasing another. You can always trust Maxell for high quality products.
- I needed an extension cord to attach to my earbuds to give me more mobility while connected to the computer. I no longer consider Sony a choice for anything due to their rapidly declining build quality in the past couple years. I was hesitant on this purchase but the price was right so I went for it. I've been using them for over a month now and am very pleased with the product. Yeah, I know it's a headphone extension cord but there seem to be few viable options on Amazon.com and I wanted to let people know that this is a worthy purchase.

5 comments about TDK 52X CDR 80 Minute / 700MB 100 Pack Spindle.
- I have used TDK products before and found them to be very good, so I was anxious to see how these performed. I am a writer and author, so I burn a lot of CD's and I am very price-performance oriented. I found these CD's to be very good, however I was not able to use the first two CD's off the top of the stack. I could not burn them successfully, but other than that, all others have performed very well. I really appreciated the Amazon deal of free shipping, which had a major impact on my decision. The savings from this made this a best buy for me. Keep up the good work, Amazon. The delivery service was prompt and efficient.
- I took my chances with these, even after reading reviews. I experienced the same problems noted by some other purchasers. I recorded songs on one disk and during playback the audio skipped. I didn't want to deal with trying to determine whether it was just the one disk. I would not recommend.
- The top was broken but the price was so good that I think it was worth it.
- Regarding music recorded using the same parameters, these will play on machines where some other brands will not - go figure. Five stars.
- I hadn't had a bad CD in years, probably 5-7 years. Bought a 50 pack of these TDK 52X CDR and out of the first 7 I used, I had 4 bad ones. I am astounded a brand name like TDK could have this poor of quality control. I had just finished up a 50 pack of Sony's and not one of them had an issue. And before that I think I was using some no name brand and I don't belive I had any go bad during writing on those either. I wonder how many bad one's I will get out the the 50 spindle. -Bill

5 comments about Sony Open-air Stereo Headphones (MDR-110LP).
- These adjustable headphones have good sound quality and are a good value for the money, but even though I am an adult, I have a small head. These headphones do not collapse down far enough to fit my head snugly. In order to make them to fit, I had to pad the headband so they would not slip down below my ears.
- My wife bought these headphones on a yard sale. They were unopened in their original package. I think for the type of phone (simple and light construction)they perform really good. In my opinion, they are a lot better than the phones that come with ipods etc. So for a replacement I think this is a great bargain.
- These basic headphones are lightweight and are great for longer use. We use them with our wireless receivers to watch TV and Movies. They don't hurt your ears even after several hours. For the price, you can't go wrong.
- These head phones have great sound quality and are very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend them for computer use if you're like me and keep the CPU on the floor, since the cord is quite short, but they're perfect for what I got them for: replacing my iPod's uncomfortable earbuds.
- These didn't hold up well for our 16 year old- he needed the foldable ones for his backpack at school-they would hold up better for someone using them at home or in an instance where they could hang them around the neck or placing them in a safe spot when not in use. Otherwise a great product for the right person.

5 comments about URC RFS200 PowerPak Bundle w/ MasterControl RF20 and PowerBlaster.
- Don't buy this if you have a Directv HD DVR. I bought one and then was informed by Universal Remote's so called help desk that there is no code for Directv's DVRs. I can program it using the learning function of the remote but then the vital 30 second skip cannot be programmed. A complete waste of time and money.
- This remote is the first universal remote that really is universal. It gave me the opportunity to place all my equipment inside the closet, far away from TV and still have control over all components, even such things like HDMI switch. You need to spend some time placing emitters (6 are supplied) in the best spot on the face of each component to have the best results. Placing them directly on the optical component's sensor might not be the best thing to do. With RF20 you have an option to customize it the way you want. Setting it up was not difficult at all. It came with instructions on DVD, but I did not even open it. With other universal remotes you may get to control the unit, however there will be always couple of buttons that you will not be able to control. With RF20 remote you don't have to worry about that. If you are missing couple of buttons RF20 can easily copy them. If you have old remotes, remotes that are made by little known brands RF20 will copy all of them.
This is the most amazing product I have ever had.
- I bought this item around Christmas of last year and immediately began working on getting the codes for all my components, the typical DVD, amp, HDTV, and a NmediaPC entertainment computer hooked to the HDTV via HDMI. After several hours of reading the manual and getting the rest of the components to work, albeit somewhat clumisly because of all the page switching necessary on the remote, I failed to find the HTPC codes and began the 'learning' phase. After numerous attempts I gave up in frustration and left the remote sitting in the box in the corner. A few months later I contemplated trying again but instead threw the remote in the garbage and haven't regretted my decision.
Spend more money for a better remote with newer codes.
- The title is really my whole review. This remote is worth every penny. It works as good, if not better that $400+ remotes (which I have owned) and is definitely worth getting over the cheaper RF/IR remotes listed (which I also have owned). I have my entertainment center tucked away in a closet on the other side of my apartment (at least 2-3 walls), and this remote works perfectly every time. Couldn't be easier to use, and the learning feature is fantastic. I control everything from my LCD to my Blu Ray, to my Apple Computer and even my ceiling fan.
I feel like an idiot for paying ridiculous amounts of money for other fancy remotes that don't work half as well.
BUY IT!
- I am very happy with the purchase. Paid for itself the first day I programed it. User guide nt the best for helping getting it programed and running without some playing around with. But love it.

5 comments about Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone.
- As someone who listens to music for 4-5 hours a day at least, I consider myself learned in Headphones.
The Sony MDR7506 is a SUPERB piece of equipment. I have had my pair for well over a year and am STUNNED by the sound quality. Furthermore, I have generally been disappointed with many of Sony's high end products' durability, but the MDR7506 has vastly exceeded my expectations in that regard.
There have been problems with the plastic casing that sets the sound equipment next to your ears, but so far I havn't encountered anything so severe a round of tape couldn't cure it (suggestion: Hose Repair Tape, avaible at most gas stations and auto-parts stores, is both waterproof AND heat resistant).
Bottom line: The best pair of headphones I have ever owned. I will buy again when my pair finally wears out.
- I finally found it! I have been trying some other headphones from other brands because of the nice reviews convinced me. But the Sony MDR7506 is the best.
- I've owned these headphones for 6 months or so, and finally decided to write a review after testing them substantially. I don't really have anything to compare these to, as these are my first pair of "big" headphones. All I have to say is that hearing music through these is unlike hearing music through a radio or regular earbuds, or even normal headphones. It's so crystal clear, it's really enlightening to listen to your favorite song and hear all kinds of details you never knew existed.
Comfort: I can wear these for about 5 hours before I need to take them off for a break. I find that they're extremely comfortable when on, and the material cups around your ear just perfectly. The phones are even tilted a slight angle and adjust to various head sizes (1 being a small head, and 9 being a very large head) One thing that is really cool is the way these fold up to save space when you're not using them.
Quality/Fashion: These are great looking headphones, but if you're looking for phones solely for fashions sake, there are headphones that look "cooler". These don't look bad by any means however, and the quality is great up close (leather and and make)
Sound Quality: As noted by everyone else, amazing. One thing I also noticed is that it does a good job of muffling surrounding noise, and it's hard to hear anything around you when they're playing music.
For best results: Try using these in the dark, with a high encoded song (320 kbps and up) and you'll be blown away. Hope my review helped. : )
PS: The cord is rather long, and coils in a phone style. Originally I thought this was too long, but after having used it for a while I find that it's a perfect length, you can just tuck the rest in your pocket/bag/ or whatever. You won't even notice it, and the extra length really comes in handy if you need to get up and get something.
- If you want closed design and very comfortable headphones, these are great. I was greatly disappointed with these. I tried breaking them in for over 100 hours.
Sound is indeed very clear but the depth is non-existing.
I have them currently connected through a 4 channel headphone amp. I have my Senn 555 and 650 connected as well. I use a HK AMP reciever.
Music is just too bright on the Sony.
If you are only used to earbuds you will not know the difference.
So if you listen to hip hop, jazz, rock like dire straits, floyd, you will not like these headphones.
If you like all the goodness with depth (bass) try the Senns
I see a lot of musicians using these, while recording, looking for flaws, mixing. Well it might be great for them but for rest of us who need to listen and enjoy our music, these are not it.
- I bought these to monitor audio on my videocamera. They seal out ambient sound very well -- in fact, I have trouble hearing anything someone says to me in a normal speaking voice with these headphones on.
Sound is crisp and flat, just what I wanted to monitor audio.

5 comments about Speck Dragon Toughskin Rubberized Case for Zune 80/120 GB (Black).
- Awesome product. As advertised does a great job of protecting the Zune. Easy to get on and off. Access to all needed outlets.
- I had a few ipods before and I always bought the toughskins for them. These are the best cases made so I had to get one for my new Zune. I was surprised (as other reviews mentioned) that the toughskin didn't come with a hard plastic screen protector like it does for the classic ipods. This doesn't worry me too much as the toughskin does come with a laminate that you can put over your screen. Just be sure to be in a clean/ dust free environment (read: no air movement, no greasy fingers) and be sure to place the laminate at one side at the very corner, and work your way over to get rid of any air bubbles. Try to do it in one shot. I also noted that other reviewers used the plastic that the toughskin came in as a screen protector, just cut it down a little larger than screen size. This is a perfect solution if you want more protection.
The only issue I noticed it that the touch pad is covered by a thin layer of toughskin. That thin layer is enough to make it just a bit harder to be accurate with the touch pad. No big deal as you get accustomed to it quickly. But if you would rather ditch that part of it, you can take a sharp razor blade or exacto knife and cut along the outside groove around the touchpad. This gives you perfect access to the touchpad, just like the ipod toughskins.
This thing rocks, it made my Zune that much better!
- This product fits and protects the Zune 80 GB well and comes w/a belt clip for mobile use.
- LIKE PUTTING GOLASHES ON MY ZUNE BUT DOES OFFER FAIR PROTECTION IF
ACCIDENTALY DROPPED
- This definitely seems sturdy, the rubber attracts alot of dust, but its gives solid protection to every inch of the zune. Belt clip works, but makes it too bulky for me to let it stay on. You might want invisi shield cover for screen, cuz this one scratches alot. Hard to find this good of protection for your zune. Better get it if you clumsy. =)
