  1. I was looking for some very simple headphone for my sony cd player and these are perfect. The sound is great they fit comfortably I love them.

  2. These adjustable headphones have good sound quality and are a good value for the money, but even though I am an adult, I have a small head. These headphones do not collapse down far enough to fit my head snugly. In order to make them to fit, I had to pad the headband so they would not slip down below my ears.

  3. My wife bought these headphones on a yard sale. They were unopened in their original package. I think for the type of phone (simple and light construction)they perform really good. In my opinion, they are a lot better than the phones that come with ipods etc. So for a replacement I think this is a great bargain.

  4. These basic headphones are lightweight and are great for longer use. We use them with our wireless receivers to watch TV and Movies. They don't hurt your ears even after several hours. For the price, you can't go wrong.

  5. These head phones have great sound quality and are very comfortable. I wouldn't recommend them for computer use if you're like me and keep the CPU on the floor, since the cord is quite short, but they're perfect for what I got them for: replacing my iPod's uncomfortable earbuds.

  1. I purchased this switch because I had too many optical sources and only one optical input on my home theater receiver. I had previously tried a Toslink optical splitter, which worked for about five minutes, if that. I purchased this switch and it works brilliantly. Previous reviewers have said the IR receiver has a hard time picking up the signal from the remote, but I have had no issues with that, however, I am using a Logitech Harmony One remote. There is no lag whatsoever in the audio; it is perfectly in sync with the video.

The bottom line is, if you have more optical sources than inputs, this switch should work for you.

  2. Excellent! It really works perfectly. No image or sound quality loss and greta remote control. Conducts in an excwellent way HD image signals. A must have.

  3. I use it just for the Digital Audio. I have had no problems. It works very well.

  4. I picked this device up because I needed a way to switch Toslink (optical audio) to my receiver, and I wanted something remote controllable. It's worked brilliantly for me.

A few high points for me:
    - You can use it as a generic RCA switcher (so if you want, you could actually use it to switch multiple RCA audio devices per channel, or to switch composite... though that's probably a waste).
    - Depending on your setup, you may get more than 3 devices out of it. I'm switching a cable box, an XBox 360, a Wii, and a PS3 on this. Since the PS3 doesn't need video, and the Wii doesn't need a TOSLink connection, they can both live on the same channel.
    - Being able to remote control it is pretty much essential for me since I have so many devices and use a Harmony to control it. This device was already in the Harmony database, no manual programming required.

I've seen some reviews where people have complained of noise in the lines or voltage spikes switching audio. I have no personally experienced this, though. I'd recommend getting a replacement if you get it, as those are likely defective units.

  5. I use this product to switch between multiple component sources - directtv receiver, ps3 and dvd jukebox player. Works very well.

5 comments about Creative EP-630 In-Ear Headphones.
  1. I have been using these for a few weeks now. I was a fan of the good but cheap Koss Sparkplugs, but they always seem to break after a few months. The 630's don't have quite as strong bass as the 'plugs, but the sound is much better balanced with less distortion, good detail, not fatiguing to listen to, like a minature version of my Grado SR-125s. They are small enough to lay comfortably on your side in bed with them on, and feel comfortable in the ear. Isolation is good enough to use on the bus. You do get some noise through the cables when you move, but you will get that with any in-ear phone. It goes without saying these are miles better than the standard iPod earbuds. Highly recommended for the price. The other advantage over earbuds to remember is you don't need the volume as high, helping iPod battery life.

  2. Nice little headphones for a small price. Not my top of the line earbuds but they have full sound and they don't fall out or get tangled when I'm running.

  3. I use in-ear headphones for audio books for nearly 100% of listening. I carry the e-phones on me all day long so that I can continue listening when I have a spare minute. That means that I have special requirements:
    (1) decent quality and volume without actually insertion deep into may ear, so it can be removed fast when needed; (2) I use mostly e-phone in one ear for safety reasons; (3) length of cables should permit reasonable operations with i-pod in a trouser's pocket; (4) cable must remain flexible at freezing temperatures; (5) cable must not jerk e-phones out of ears when walking. I have tried a variety of different brands. Original i-pod phones have a cable that becomes stiff in winter. Sony have rigid plastic at transfer to horizontal e-phone which makes it inconvenient during movements. Proper combination is achieved by Creative EP-630 e-phones. There is only one problem: without visible damage to cables, one of the buds stops working after about 2 to 3 months of heavy use. I would understand visible tear. Invisible tear means defective design. I shall try now EP-640. If it will break within the same period of time, I shall switch to another brand with similar construction characteristics: rubberized cable, length about 3 to 4 ft and similar bud design. If Creative people read these reviews, look into design defect that leads to wire damages somewhere inside the phone.

  4. the fit is funny no matter which size i use. i have previously used a sony one similar to this. since it doesn't fit properly, i can't judge its sound quality. the earbud is too short/stocky. its really useless for me because i must pressed into my ear in order to get the full sound.

  5. I bought these earphones as a "standin" measure while my Bose in-ear phones were being replaced. I am impressed by the clean sound these Creative in-ear headphones. And the efficiency is higher than most other earphones I have pluggged into my MP3 player.

This product does not offer the full bass I experience with the Bose. But then again, they cost $90 bucks or so. And the frequency range these reproduce is clean and accurate across the spectrum. You can afford to lose these Creatives without feeling devastated.

I'm glad I bought these and I'd rather take them on airplanes or in travel because they are less fussy to use-- the Bose easily loses the silicon ear inserts. And again losing them won't create a financial trauma.

5 comments about iHome iH6 Clock Radio for iPod (White).
  1. This clock radio rocks!
It's used by a 10-yr.-old boy. Fits his original-era iPod Shuffle perfectly. Also works with an iPod Classic.
Sound quality is good, and it has a dual alarm as well as a sleep feature. You can control the illumination of the face, too. -This has made waking him up in the morning oh so much easier. However, note that you cannot wake up to Shuffle, only iPod or radio.

  2. This product comes with 400 plus parts and screws and it says right on the box assemblied already and easy to install but in fact it takes a good 2 hours and most of the parts that come with it are not needed. Then when we got it on the wall it did not in fact fit our TV but when i purchased it my size TV was suppose to be perfect for this wall mount. My husband was so frustrated and repacking this project to send it back will probably take another hour of our time. Not worth the price for sure!!

  3. I got one of these as a gift in November. It turned out to be defective. It took over 2 months to get a replacement - the new one just arrived today, so I haven't been able to use it yet. I would recommend that you buy this from a retail store so that you can more easily exchange it if you get a defective one like I did.

  4. So far, I really like this product. Pretty good sound and it's quite functional. The only complaint I have is that when we turn the volume down on the TV, the radio comes on. How do I stop this???

  5. Lived up to it's favorable reviews for around a yesr. Then no audio in any mode. 90 day warranty should be a warning. $30 repair charge plus shipping when out of warranty means go look for something new and hopefully more quality.

5 comments about 25ft Coax SVGA Monitor Cable Hddb15m/hddb15m.
  1. I ran to the store to buy a long VGA cable so that I could watch movies from the monitor across the room, the cheapest I could find was $25/10 ft. I'm So glad I waited and bought this, you can (almost) never go wrong with 25' of cable, and this one works great. The value:price ratio is excellent!

  2. I used it in connecting my laptop to a projector and it works fine. The signal was 1400*1050. It was a replacement of the previous cable which introduced slight distorts in the shape and resulted in blurred images. With this cable,I was not able to find any distorts in the shape and color of the images. I recomment it

  3. great heavy cable, I see no noticeable signal loss, does it's job, what more do you want?

  4. This 25ft Coax SVGA Monitor Cable Hddb15m/hddb15 does a great job. I purchased it to connect my Gateway Lamptop to my 52" Toshiba Flat Television. It it crystal clear. and provides the highest video quality possible. StarTech.com coaxial VGA cables eliminate picture "ghosting" and fuzzy images inherent to non-coaxial cables, and provide superior EMI interference protection by using ferrite cores near the connector ends. The only thing that I don't like is you need another cable for sound.
Ideal for high resolution monitors (1024x768 and above)
Overall it does a FANTASTIC JOB as far as the video is concerned and is a GREAT Price on Amazon!

  5. Probably not the greatest cable in the world (not gold plated our anything), but transfers a clean image from my computer to my 17 inch monitor on the other side of the room. Love it!

5 comments about STARTECH.COM DVIMM6 6' Digital LCD Monitor Cable Replacement DVI-D Male to DVI-D Male 4.95 GBPS.
  1. I left the actual cable which came with the monitor or Graphics card at my native country.
I ordered this one. Prompt delivery. It worked well. Earlier I thought of using splitter to split my computer DVI Video out to monitor and LCD TV (DVI to HDMI). But splitter did not work. So I went back to VGA card to connect monitor. So now I am not using this product now.

  2. I would not hesitate to buy one of these cables. I purchased a $70 dollar cable at Office Depot, and then found this online. Amazon had it to me a few days later, and I returned the overpriced cable to Office Depot. This cable works just as well, I notice no different in performance or connection. Go ahead and get one!

  3. I am using it for about a month now. The picture clarity is noticeably better that VGA cable I was using before. I think with digital connection, there is no need of using really high quality and expensive cable. A simple cable like this can do the job just as well.

  4. Not that lucky, i got a wrong cable instead.
I got a HDMI to DVI-D, cable looks good, but i do not want it, my monitor do not support HDMI.
Any one want this one for the same price as listed or even less, contact me.
I have to get rid of this.

  5. No need to buy those expensive cables at the retail stores. This cable for the price is a great buy. It is of decent quality and delivers just as good an image as the higher priced ones.

  1. The sound quality is wonderful for the price... It grips my head very firmly which is good (in the sense that on runs I don't need to worry about them slipping) but can be uncomfortable for long periods of time (say, listening to music at work all day). However, overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product.

  2. The head phones are fine. If you want to wear them all day long, I wouldn't get them. I use them to work out in and they are fine. I think they would get uncomfortable if worn for a long time. The fidelity is good. I bought them because of the price and I have been happy with them.

  3. I've had two pairs of these headphones. Within a month or so of buying them, I lost sound in one of the earpieces (sound would only come out of the other one). It's too bad because these are otherwise fairly comfortable headphones.

  4. The headphones are more comfortable than the previous models. The product also comes with an extra set of foam covers as well. If you use these when running or working out, the extra foam covers do come in handy. The reflective piece is more orange in color than yellow, but no matter. They still look good. I would recommend these to a friend as well.

  5. That's about it: the music sound good coming through these earphones.

But, damn, if they aren't tight. I often don't notice, but I really wish they were adjustable.

5 comments about Sony MDR-A35G S2 Sports Headphones with Sweat Guard Mechanism.
  1. I bought these earphones specifically to run with. I love them. These are the first earphones I have found that stay put while I run. The sound quality is not great but good enough. I would buy these again.

  2. I've used many types of headphones for workouts (endurance runs which tend to be long and sweaty) most eventually stop working temporarily somewhere during the run when the headphone speaker gets wet. The design on these pretty much keeps this from happening. As far as sound quality...I'm not an audiophile but they sound good to me, and they are very comfortable.

  3. I bought three pairs of these and they all have broken within one month. They snap right near the folding joint with the slightest overstress. The sound is good, but I'm very disappointed with the durability. I had an old Sony metal band folding sport headphone that lasted for many years that I wish they still sold. If you buy these, make sure to get some plastic glue and a pin punch so you can take them apart and repair them. You'll need it.

  4. I keep a pair in my car and another in my gym bag. I like the compactness - I carry them in an old case for my glasses. The sound is fine and you can wear them while sweating like a pig and they still manage not to feel disgusting. They are my friend.

  5. I work out regularly and need to listen to music while I do. Earbuds don't get it, too much adjusting.
I've gone through a bunch of these earphones, and they are the BEST for active workouts, except for the flimsy temple pieces: they ultimately break, no matter how careful I am, sometimes in the first couple of weeks, sometimes they've lasted 9 months.
So, I got the Sony MDR-W24V Vertical In-The-Ear Headphones the same time I bought these, and they seem to be holding up a little better. The MDR-W42V's have an inline volume control, too. Get those instead.

5 comments about Apple M9320G/A Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter.
  1. I use this cable to connect my Macbook to a 22" Viewsonic LCD as a desktop replacement. It has been shorting every other day since i bought it. So every other AM I fiddle with it for about 15 minutes to get it signal the proper resolution to the monitor. Shame on me for putting up with it, but from what I read it's a common quality control problem with this cable - so shame on Apple. If the cable cost more than $20 you would see more bad reviews, but at $19 I figure people just suck it up and buy another one.

  2. I may just be computer-illiterate (very likely), but I find that once I plug the adapter in my laptop goes nuts. However, with patience and persistence, I can pretty easily get the connection working great. And I love to watch all my online content on the big screen.

  3. This works well enough, I suppose: you plug it into your Macbook and it makes a picture on your VGA monitor. However I find the quality of the conversion from mini-DVI to VGA to be lacking.

I expect a certain level of inaccuracies using a VGA cable for an LCD screen (rather than a DVI cable where the signal can be digital all the way from the computer to the monitor), but using the identical monitor plugged into a true VGA port on a different computer, the display is much crisper.

On my 1280x1024 resolution 19" monitor, the pixels are visibly blurry. It's most noticable on text -- where black text appears to have a small halo of blur or other colors around it. Small text is nigh unreadable.

  4. For what you get. it's over priced and very short. It's used in conjunction with a Dvi-d dual link cable to connect a macbook to my LCD TV. It works ok, but like i said. It could be longer.

  5. Work well, the only type available to hook up my mac to my sony TV

5 comments about Memorex Slim DVD Video 25-Pack Storage Cases (Clear).
  1. These cases protect disks and produce minimum stress on DVD hub. The fact that they are tranparent makes it easy to find titles without having to open the case. They do allow for a cover sleeve if you want to use one. I think they are more likely to last longer without the cracking of jewel cases.

  2. I produced and Market my DVD Bedrest Fitness and use the Slim DVD cases to package them. They are pretty durable and because they are clear, I can pop the DVD in (which has a pretty graphic label) and don't need any other artwork for the product. Also, the plastic sleeves on the covers enable me to tuck fitness bands in so that shipping is easy and efficient.

  3. These covers take up less space and are clear so you can see the DVD. If you have an open cabinet it looks really neat.

  4. These are great, take up hardly any space in comparison, and are pretty durable. You can insert a cover image, and there are tabs for a flysheet inside. The one downside is that each case only holds one disc. I bought 75 and am completely satisfied. The service and shipping were great as well.

  5. I have been using these cases for years and have always been satisfied with them. If there was a problem it was that they didn't always hold the disc securely but Memorex has fixed that with a new improved spindle. 5 stars for quality and price.
