5 comments about iSkin Silicon Case for iPod touch (Black).
- Excellent product. Great looks and protection. Perserves the look of the Touch without hiding it.
- This item arrived a bit scratched with a couple of dead pixels. I'm otherwise enjoying it, but it's a slippery devil. Dropped it behind my nightstand once and dented the case, but it still seems to work fine. I just wish Apple would provide some software a little less crappy than iTunes.
- The clip was cut in half yesterday, only 2 months of use, the plastic clip is easy to be broken in half. Now, I only have the case with it.
- This is my second iSkin purchase-I had bought one last year for my 2nd Gen iPod Nano. I new that the silicone sleeve would attract dust but I didn't care so much because I knew it would do its job.
It protects the iPod touch from shock and scratches. There are only two things that annoy me.
1. Dust gets inside the outline of the front cover. I have to dig with something thin to get it out
2. The protective film that goes on the screen creates bubbles. I had a hard time putting it on and getting rid of them.
All in all, I think it does a pretty good job for $18. It definitely keeps the iPod in mint condition.
- Before my iPod touch, I owned a 4G 20 gig iPod with click wheel. The first case I bought for that one was an iSkin. It was a good investment for my old iPod and I find that this new version is pretty decent as well. The thought of dropping my iPod and damaging it terrifies me, so I try to look for shock absorption in any case I buy. While this case isn't perfect in that regard, I feel that it does offer some drop protection. The best feature of this case is probably the unique screen protector - it's antiglare AND it DOESN'T SHOW FINGERPRINTS! Amazing and well worth the purchase.
I also have the Belkin leather folio for the touch and, as much as I like that case for it's shock absorbing/protective qualities, it seems to prevent me from touching the corners of the screen (bad for typing and playing with apps.)
If you want a case with a belt clip, don't buy this one. iSkin belt clips have always been fragile and sort of useless.

1 comments about Sennheiser CX 500-T In-Ear Headphone (Titanium color).
- Sennheiser in-ear headphones are the best iPod portable listening devices I have encountered. They reproduce sound superbly across the full spectrum from treble to bass. These headphones come with a variety of sized ear pieces that allow the user to get a custom in-ear fit that stays put whether running, lifting weights or just chilling. Additionally, Sennheiser has integrated a volume control into one of the cords which enables the listener to adjust the volume without having to access the iPod itself.

5 comments about Universal Tilt Wall Mount.
- I ordered a Sanus 32-50" wall mount for my 50" Samsung plasma, but due to the 24" spacing between studs in my wall, and the large width between bracket holes on the back of my tv, I couldn't mount it without my TV being off center horizontally on my wall.
I then looked for a wider mount, and found the Peerless ST670P. It was wide enough to still grab two studs, and accomodate the greater bracket width of my tv, and the end result is my plasma perfectly centered on my wall. Installation is very simple and straightforward - you really do need a stud finder and level. It comes with all the bolts you need, and where the Sanus came with M8 bolts that were too long that I would have had to cut to fit my tv, the Peerless model came with 3 different lengths of M8 bolts, so the bracket installation into my TV was perfect.
Quality construction. I really recommend this product, and will be buying another when I get another plasma one day!
- Easy to install, fastens to three studs (16" centers), comes with a vast quantity of hardware, great instructions, and will hold just about any TV. I bet my 52" Samsung will still be on the wall when the only thing left are roaches! Well worth the few more dollars than the smaller mounts.
BTW: downstairs I used the Sanus VMDD26B Universal Articulating mount for my 52" Sony... in comparison, it costs 4-times as much, had less hardware, weighs 3-times as much, and the instructions are less-than-easy to follow... mostly pictograms with few words. It does allow more movement which I needed.
- I used this for a 50" Samsung plasma on the wall, this thing is solid. I have purchased a different model from someplace else and wall mount was too short to span across 3 studs, this one solved that problem. It's still not long enough that you would ever see the bracket . The tilt feature is great too.
- Used this mount to hang my 50" Samsung plasma above my fireplace. The directions were easy to follow and its ability to mount to 3 studs give it a very sturdy feel.
My only caution is if you have your power outlet and or HDMI wallplates where the mount will sit on the wall, it doesn't give any clearance for these. There are square holes on the back, but your wallplates better match up *exactly* for them to work. I was lucky and was able to jury-rig it up there, but I would highly recommend you place your outlets below the mount if you have that luxury.
- If you have a large, heavy plasma TV and you need to span three 18" centered wall studs, this is one of your very few choices in the $100-$200 range. It took ordering three different wall mounts before I found this one because the specs on Amazon (and other sites for that matter) are either confusing or flat-out wrong. Most of the time when they give you dimensions, it's the size of the carton that they give rather than the size of the mounting bracket itself. I even contacted a real person at Amazon for the info on my second try and she was just as wrong as I was the first time. Why it's so hard for a company to add a couple of inches to a wall bracket mystifies me, but there are hundreds of $100 mounts that go 30" and only one or two (like this one) that are longer. So, unless you want your $2000 TV dangling precariously 16" over from two studs in your wall, get one that spans more than 36" like this one. The major complaint I have on this particular unit is that the adjusting knob that is supposed to allow you to tilt the screen up or down a bit (handy for getting to cables and such after installation) is designed in such a way that the bracket's proximity to the wall prevents you from loosening it. So once you've got your behemoth screen in place, you're stuck with whatever angle you've set it at. Over all, though, it's a sturdy mount with one main problem, and if you're willing to live with that design flaw--go for it.

5 comments about Antennas Direct 91XG Uni-directional HDTV Antenna.
- can't receive channel 4.1 and 13.1 of nyc dtv broadcast signal. the antenna was placed 8 ft above the roof in central nj and it's within 40 miles from Empire State Building.
- Excellent deep fringe performer, especially if you live in a high mutlipath area. Very light, and built to withstand almost any foul weather. It is "very" directional; so you will probably need a rotor if your stations are coming from different directions.
- We installed this antenna in preparation for DTV reception. We have it mounted above a VHF log periodic on the same mast, each separately feeding the mast mounted 23dB amplifier. It is elevated about 8 feet above roof peak. We are very pleased with the results, even though we are situated a little downhill from line of sight to the transmitters, about 42 miles distant. Digital TV and HDTV have been a big improvement over our former interference ridden analog reception on lower VHF channels. UHF has low susceptibility to power line and car ignition noise. The majority of DTV transmitters seem to be operating on UHF or will be after February, 2009.
- This product arrived very fast, but did not work for us. We are about 40 miles away from the Washington DC area. Perhaps it had to do with interference between us and the broadcast stations, but a cheap, old antenna did a much better job -- so we switched back. Also, the product arrived with evidence inside that it had been opened and perhaps installed elsewhere before we received it. It was missing one connector plug for the little wings. Nothing looked broken, however.
- This is one of the best antennas around for deep fringe viewing when all the stations are in the same direction. I live in the mountains about 90 miles from the transmitter towers. I've tried other antennas and could barely get any signal but this one gives me a good to excellent picture on all available UHF analog and digital signals. I do have a preamp installed on the mast with the antenna. For those giving this a poor or very poor rating and saying they live 20-40 miles from the station it is because it has too much gain for their location. They are over driving the input to their television. As an old Air Force radio technician I highly recommend this antenna if you live in fringe to deep fringe areas.

3 comments about Monster Cable SS2RF Monster Standard RF Splitters For CATV Signals 2-Way RF Splitter.
- I purchased two Monster splitters to replace some RadioShack brand splitters I had on my home cable TV setup. One splitter resides outside my house splitting the cable between two TVs and the other splitter is inside splitting my TV and DVD player inputs.
I had replaced a few other components (cables) due to a less than perfect signal on the lower band stations (Channels 2 thru 6) and a couple of other stations on the higher end of the spectrum.
The new splitters made a difference. The low channels are now perfectly clear. I swapped the old and new splitters around in various combinations, but found that the two Monster cables produced a slightly better signal when just one was used and a great signal when they were used in unison. The splitters being replaced where not old, so it appears these Monster splitters made a difference.
Unless you have a need (satellite TV) I would stick with the Monster standard splitter and not spend extra money on their "premium" splitter. The premium model is about twice the price. The gold plating content is the same and its only the frequency range that is associated with satellite TV that would matter to you with the premium model.
So:
Cable TV: buy the Monster standard.
- A Time Warner Tech told me that in order to get good reception from the lower and upper channels I needed a good quality splitter, not the cheap ones that you can get at Radio Shack (which I had used). Suspicous, I researched this and boy was he telling the truth! The SS2RF provided much better clarity and got rid of the distortion that I assumed was the fault of the cable provider. Definitely worth the extra money when you consider how much you already have invested in your AV equipment.
- If you are one of the "unlucky" that lives in an apartment or dont feel like shelling out the money to have a "DEDICATED" cable line running to each room (from the outside box) then a splitter will be neccassary. Even if you have a dedicated line, you might want to use one for picture in picture. Problem is the more you split, the more signal you lose, and this can degreade picture quality and internet speed. I have five different splits needed, four for TV, and one for internet, and even though my picture was pretty clear, my internet connection was getting lost sometimes, so I decided to upgrade my splitters. The cable company supplied me with ONE 2 way 1GHZ "Regal Splitter" and ONE 3 way 1GHZ "Extreme" Splitter. I decided to upgrade these to the 2 and 3 way Monster Standard 1GHZ splitter. (please stay away from the higher end, 2GHZ Monster Splitters, unless you have Satilite. The Monster Standard 1GHZ is more then suffience for Digital Cable, Basic "Analog" Cable, Internet, and HD TV. When I changed the splitters, I found the picture to be more Crisp w better colors and Detailing, and the HD never looked better. My cable modem has yet to lose its connection and my downloads are faster. Mind you, if you are having lousy reception problems, and you have a cheap splitter, and you change to this, and it doesnt work, chances are its the outside line, so have that checked first, before you drop the money on splitters. The simple call to the cable company (some charge a small fee) could be all you need. But if you are like me, and already have a decent picture, but with minor picture flaws, or lose you internet connection, try upgrading to these, as always Monster delivers, and their "Standard" products are all you need, even if its cables, they are more then sufficent

2 comments about Remote Controlled Switch Socket - 3-Pack.
- While this product works well with lamps and fans that have knobs that you turn, it only half works with fans or other products that turn on with buttons. For example, I have a fan that you press the button three times to go from low to high to off. The remote will turn it off, but won't turn it back on. Same thing with a button-only air conditioner. However, it does turn my twist-dial fan both on and off.
- Having purchased similar items from another manufacturer in the past, I was surprised to find that the item ships batteries not included. The range is also noticeably less than that of the competing product that I have purchased- I usually have to click the button two or three times just to switch the lights across the room. Also, the oversized outlet takes up two plug spaces. On the plus side, the product is much cheaper than competitors, considering that you get separate control of three different outlets with one remote. With the competitor's product, you'd have to buy three packages and juggle three remotes, so if you want separate control of multiple outlets from one remote, this is definitely the way to go.

5 comments about Targus TSB212 15.4 Sport Standard Backpack - Platinum/Black.
- I choose this backpack because photos in the amazon did show me many spaces for each item, specially a space for my lapto of 13 inches, one space for cables and mouse, one for pens or pencils, one for CD's/DVD's and other items.
I'm very happy for this backpack. If you want to have your hands available this backpack is the solution.
- Definitely the best backpack I've ever owned. Lots of space, comfort, and durability. Plus, it looks nice. Great slot for laptop and cell. A must buy for anyone lugging a ton of pounds on a daily basis.
- I bought this backpack before heading off to live in another country, where I used it both for commuting to work with a laptop, and for clothes for weekend trips. It did fine for both purposes. Now I use it 5 days a week to carry a laptop to and from work.
Unlike another reviewer, I don't have any issue with where or how the laptop is stored. It seems well protected to me, and this bag has dropped from table height several times with no laptop problems. I put files or paperwork in the same compartment as the laptop. Not sure why anyone would put loose paperclips in there, since there are smaller compartments for that kind of stuff.
Overall, this bag is really not showing any signs of wear after all my use during the past 18 months. No zipper issues, no fraying fabric, nothing. I have been very pleased with my purchase, and if I lost it tomorrow I'd go buy another without hesitation.
- I bought the first (?) generation of this bag when I found myself working a project that took me to the UK frequently. It's a good mobile office -- carries laptop & accessories, papers, books etc. and is comfortable to haul around and quite durable. This version is a notable improvement on the first, with more small outer compartments for organizing smaller items and *two* expandable mesh pockets for water bottles etc. Zippers are reliable and have overlarge pulls, laptop sleeve is well padded, well done throughout.
It doesn't exactly look like a businessman's backpack; if you're concerned about 'professional image', it might not be for you.
- I personally don't care about the laptop section placement. I don't slam my pack on the ground with heavy items on top of it.
For me this was a great purchase. I really like the number and different sizes of compartments, allowing me to store a variety of electronics and other items and still easily access them. Everything that I carry with me on a daily basis has a convenient and accessible place to reside.
I find the bag to be extremely comfortable. I have tried numerous bad in this price range and this is one of the more comfortable.
All in all I would say this was a purchase worth the money I spent and would reccomend it to others

1 comments about Power Support Anti-Glare Film Set for iPod Touch.
- I bought this film from the Apple store. I didn't expect it to be anything special, but I was wrong. This film improves the experience of the screen greatly. Its texture is really nice to the touch and, being anti-glare, it makes the ipod touch screen softer looking and easier to work with.
It's easy to instal too. Includes a film for the front and back of ipod touch.
Woud buy again.
