5 comments about Double-sided Mini Rewritable DVD-RW for Sony Handycam®.
- I am disappointed that XBOX 360 or other DVD players cannot read the video clips I took. I have a Sony Handycam DCR-DVD 403.
- I highly recommend this product. It has done a great job recording and I will definitely use this product more. Thanks for your time and speedy delivery.
- in that the disc only recorded on both sides for a short time. an error message appeared that the second said could not be use to record after about 4 or 5 uses.
- i bought 2 . first one gave reading error after recording about 10 times, the other still ok.
- work very good with Sony camcorder, don't use Memorex brand, that brand will give your camcorder problem

5 comments about Write-once DVD-R Disc.
- I have been using Panasonic's DVD-R discs with my Panasonic DVD recorder (model DMR-EH50) for several months. I think I have had two out of about 100 of them bomb out on me. I have tried other discs that were cheaper, but they were not realiable when I used then with my Panasonic recorder. UPDATE as of April 2007. Recently had 2 out of 20 bomb on me. I don't know if 10% bomb rate is good or bad -- just reporting.
- These discs are made by Taiyo Yuden in Japan for Panasonic. I have had 100% success rate with many discs. Maxells made in Japan by Hitachi Maxell or Taiyo Yuden are also great discs.
The Panasonic DVD recorders need to have a firmware update to eliminate some of the incompatibility of certain discs. With the firmware, I have had zero problems with two units with these discs.
I had the opposite problem with Panasonic's website. I ordered 10 discs of individually wrapped discs (they use for fullsize jewel cases for singles) and they sent me 50 discs (10 boxes of 5) and didn't charge me. Nor wanted them returned. So I guess I am happy!
- In my opinion:
I own a ton of Panasonic equipment, most recently a DVD recorder. I was using Sony DVD-Rs with no problems, but, being a Panasonic person, I figured Panasonic must be better.
In order to save a few bucks, I joined the Panasonic Club at the Panasonic website, and ordered a spindle of these same type DVD-Rs. I did this on 9/20/06.
I made several phone calls and emails to find out where my discs were, and, believe it or not, nobody at Panasonic could tell me why they hadn't been shipped. Then, I was promised that they did ship, but I never got them. After being talked into placing a duplicate order by a Panasonic Rep, I didn't get that order either.
I finally received one order on 10/16/06. They were so poorly packaged that the holder was broken. Now, I finally had my discs. Guess what? They were only 1-8x speed (the Sony discs were 1-16x speed), and my thermal label printer wouldn't print on them because of the finish. I had been assured that I could print on them with a thermal printer.
I did burn a couple of movies, and they worked, but I saw nothing special that I can report.
It gets worse: I logged into my Panasonic Club account, and saw two charges I hadn't made: one for $10,017 and one for $915. I fell off the back of my chair. To this day nobody has called me, but I managed to get some email responses, and i was told I would have to watch my credit card - that's just what I need!
You know, sometimes you buy a brand and think great things about how wonderful a Company it is, and then one day you have some dealings and realize how wrong you were.
I'm going back to Sony, and let me tell you, Amazon Customer Service blows away just about every company I've dealt with (sorry about the preposition). I should have bought on Amazon.
- The DVD's seem to work just fine. They are required by the Manufacturerer or would void the warrenty. And we have had no problems with performance since we began using them.
- This product is amazingly simple and easy to use.
It produces great copies of dvd movies.
I always use this product for it's efficiency, and it's high quality!

5 comments about DAYTON SVC1 S-VIDEO JACK TO RCA PLUG CONVERTER.
- The product functions properly as expected, I used to it to hook my computer to an old-school television, but I was impressed the most by the speed of shipping. I ordered it on a Monday and recieved it on Wednsday.
- I'm using this to covert a composite video output on a VCR to connect an S-video cable to my AV receiver (since the receiver won't convert composite to S-video and the receiver is connected to the TV with S-video). The video jack is sturdy, connects well, and passes the VCR signal just fine. For $11.80 with shipping, this is a good product.
- If you want a high quality S-Video converter, then search no farther. I bought this little guy, tried it, and said "Hit the road!" to my bulky S-Video to RF converter. I tested it between my PC's AGP graphics card S-Video output and the composite video RCA inputs on my Color TV, B/W and Green Screen monitors. All three had very good pictures. It beat my RF converter hands down, was easier to use, and shipped fast.
- The converter works great, excelent picture quality, great for viewing movies from the computer in the tv. I would recoment this to everyone, has the quality of the higher priced converters for a fraction of the price.
- The product works! I tried it on a 4-pin S-Video out connector on an S3 video card and on a 7-pin S-Video out connector on an ATI video card. The product worked on both video cards. The color intensity was lower on the TV, but then that was how I had the TV set up. FYI: The little arrow on the product (S-Video side) in the product picture is only there to show the reference position of the S-Video pins, and does not have anything to do with the direction of the conversion.

5 comments about Altec Lansing inMotion iMmini Portable Audio System for iPod Mini.
- Great little product, not the best fidelity but it is easy to use, tiny little footprint and suits my needs well. Puts out more volume than I expected. Great price.
- Phenomenal sound for its size -- almost sounds like it has a sub woofer.
A great price through Amazon (way less than retail asking price published on Altec Lansing's web site).
Very convenient for Ipods, MP3's & Portable CD players.
- This speaker dock station/player has unbelievable sound. As a massage therapist I need something that produces a quality sound that is very portable and lightweight. I have purchased other lightweight units, but were disappointed with the bass that it would produce. I have had many of my clients make comments and questions on where they could purchase one of these. I purchased mine for about $70 and got a great deal... it charges while it plays great sound and comes with a protective cover.. great for on the go with batteries or as a plug in.
- I bought this mini portable audio system for my desk at work because it looked small and light. When I actually received it I was surprised at how small it really is and a little skeptical, but I am very happy with it. It sounds really good with the volume high or really low. I would recommend this product to anyone; it is a very good buy. The price is excellent also.
- We own the Altec Lansing inMotion and wanted
another one for our Florida Condo. What we received
is NOT the same. It is smaller and does not fold up.
The one sent does not fit the regular iPod just the Nano.
Bad Deal!

5 comments about PCMICROSTORE Brand (2nd Generation) Microsoft Zune 80GB Premium Silicone Skin Case with 14" Adjustable Sports Armband - 9 Color Choices.
- This review is for the SUPERGRIP-BLACK 80GB Zune Case from the PCMICROSTORE.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ MY FULL IN-DEPTH REVIEW, SCROLL DOWN TO THE "OVERALL IMPRESSIONS" SECTION!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
In general, this is a good product. I will break it down by parts.
Shipping: I received this product in 6 days, but it was over a weekend - so really took 4 days. I was happy with the shipping. (I chose the standard option)
Packaging: Came in a small plastic bag, sealed, something normal you would expect.
The Case: I am impressed. The case slips over the Zune 80 and fits very well. Clearly designed for my Zune. It does collect dust fairly easily, but that is not a big deal to me.
--Controls: The Zune pad is not hindered at all by this case. The Play/Pause button and the Back button are covered, but I have no problem using them. The headphone jack has clear and easy access. The Hold button is a little hard to reach, but it is not that bad.
--Feeling: The case grips well, is easy to hold, and doesn't slip. It has texture on the sides and back witch allow even easier holding.
--Screen: The case does not hinder the screen viewing at all.
--Bottom / Charge post access: There is a fairly large hole at the bottom of the case, but the zune does not come out or slip down or anything like that. The standard cable provided with the Zune easily fits in.
I also have the Zune brand dock (http://www.zune.net/en-US/products/z/zunedockpack/details.page/)
I was worried that the case would hinder my dock access, but it does not! The way the Zune dock works it that it is universal for all zunes, and it has a small plastic piece that goes over the port to adapt for each zune. If you use the dock without any plastic piece in place, it works with this Zune case perfectly. I am very please with that.
The armband: It works really well. I was expecting a flimsy little strap, but that is not the case. It has a Velcro attachment. It slips through two little (reinforced) holes in the back of the case. It holds the zune in place as good as you could expect. In my opinion, it flops around a little too much for running. The zune 80 is just too heavy, but that is not this case's fault. It works well for weight lifting and exercises that dont have jumping or fast movements. I am satisfied.
The belt clip: The clip screws into itself through a small hole in the back of the case. It works well enough but it is not very high quality plastic. If you are planning to hang your zune on the clip a lot, it may break after a while and I wouldn't recommend it too much. But...the clip was just like a extra add on for me. Semi-Satisfied.
Video Stand: First of all, you must understand that the stand is VERTICAL, and you watch movies with the zune HORIZONTAL... However, you can move the little plastic grips at the end to sorta "convert" it for horizontal viewing. It is not at the perfect angle, but it works well enough. The stand stored under a small plastic lip, witch works well enough, but it is not full proof. The stand also easily removes if you do not want to use it. I am Satisfied.
Screen Protector: The screen protector is in no way, shape, or form specifically designed for the Zune 80. It is way to big and requires cutting. Do not buy this case if you are no prepared to do some work to use the screen protector. It can be cut fairly easily however, and works well if you cut it right. I suggest using a straight cutting like seen in a FedEx Kinkos or OfficeMax Impress, doesn't take too long, and should work fine. The protector itself does it's job once it is on and it not too thick. I am disappointed in having to cut it, but satisfied once it is on.
Combination of all accessories: Everything in this package works well together. You can have your screen protector on, case over that, video stand on, belt clip hooked in, and using the arm band and it all still works. I wouldn't recommend using the arm band with the belt clip, because it hurts your arm after a while, but the clip and band hold up well.
---------------------------------
OVERALL IMPRESSION:
This is a great case at a wonderful price. All the features work well enough to satisfy any normal Zune user, and the case gives you the feeling that much more durability has been added to your zune. It grips well, doesn't hinder functionality, and protects your zune!
Pros:
-Protects well
-Good grip
-Full functionality
-Armband quality
-Full dock usage
-Video Stand works
Cons:
-Screen protector not cut to size
-Belt clip not too strong
-Hold button can be a tad hard to access
MY RATING: 4.8 / 5.0 Stars!!!
- Its a good product for a pretty small price compared to OEM equipment. The armband feature is not very sturdy but since its a HDD based device, I wouldn't recomend jogging or parkour with it anyways. But for something to protect it while its in your pocket or bookbag, its a good deal.
- Bought this product 6 months ago. It lasted me about 70-100 trips to the gym. After which it snapped where the band goes in the case. Don't buy it if you have bigger arms. Otherwise the band is comfortable.
- Works great, however does not have a clear shield attached to the cover instead there is a screen protector included.
- After dropping my 80gb zune several times, I started to hear a light jingling noise inside of my zune. At that moment, I decided I needed a case.
I do not like the clanky, bulky feel of hard cases, but I do love the soft, jelly-like feeling of skin cases, so this was perfect for me. I purchased this in black to match my Zune and just slipped it right on. With the skin covering, whenever my zune slips out of my grasp or pocket, it simply lands with a slight bounce.
All in all, this case has been extremely useful to me. A screen cover and armband were also included with the case. The screen cover protects the zune from scratches and I use the armband whenever I go running. If you need some lightweight protection for your zune, I highly recommend purchasing this item.

2 comments about Apple Ipod Classic 6th Gen (80gb/160gb) Premium Ultra-clear Reusable LCD Screen Protector with Lint Cleaning Cloth By Ikross.
- the sticky part of it attracted dust and it got trapped beneath it on the screen. It made it ugly and unusable immediately and was a complete waste of money. you would have to purchase many of them before you finally got one on without dust. They are not reusable, unless you happen to be in a completely sanitized room with absolutely zero dust.
- Taking the other review into consideration, I applied this screen protector in an extremely dust free environment (my father's science lab with an anti-dust filtration system). This still wasn't perfect...
The protective screens (there were 3 in all, 1 for the ipod classic screen, 1 for the silver back, and 1 for the scroll wheel) were poorly packaged as they had sticky tabs that left a little residue on each other. This residue could be wiped off with a drizzle of water and the cleaning pad that came with the protectors, but they should have been clean to begin with.
I decided to apply the screen protector first - it was an extremely delicate operation, and the static cling grips fast, which caused the protector to lay slightly askew from the screen. If I weren't such a perfectionist I would have let it be, because no dust was trapped underneath. However, I decided to peel it off and try again, and as soon as I did, the dust found its way... I was able to get most of it off with soap and water but now there's a few small blemishes, what I had to sacrifice to get it properly aligned.
When I turn the ipod on, these blemishes are virtually unnoticeable, and the protector will save your ipod from most scratches (though it may get scratched itself), so if you aren't too anal about getting the perfect alignment (or if you have surgeon's hands), these protectors might do the job for you. I personally wasn't that impressed though, and didn't even bother applying the other two protectors (the screen was what I was most concerned about anyway).

2 comments about Targus Blacktop Deluxe 17 Laptop Case w/ Dome Protection CPT401DUS.
- My title pretty much says it all, I got this case a few days ago and absolutely LOVE it's design and the fact that it fits a 17" widescreen notebook without having to cram the laptop into the case! The velcro insert can be moved to make more space to accommodate the larger laptops. I love the seperate mesh zippered pouch for the power pac, it has lots of built in pouches and mesh pockets for cell phone, mp3 player, chargers and holds 5 cds or dvd's, has another zippered file folder for papers or books, another large compartment under the flap for pens and storage and then two more compartments on each side of the outer sides. I transferred everything from my overstuffed old bag to this case and you would think with all of those compartments it would be bulky and hard to handle, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Even with a 17" notebook everything is so compact and well organized it's still easy to carry and maneuver. This is a great "take on the plane" case because it fits easily under the seat. So durable and well made, Targus is now my laptop bag and case of choice. Definetly worth the price with the free super shipping!
- For a 17" laptop be carefull. The pics. depict a smaller laptop. With a larger 17" laptop, there is no room in the body of the case to store the power brick charger. Just received case and trying to decide what to do with the power suppy brick. Concerned if I place it on top of computer, case may bulge. For that matter wherever I stick the power supply, the case may bulge. Taking another look at the leather Targus to see if it will provide more space for power supply and will return this one.

5 comments about DVD Storage Tray (14-Capacity).
- The case logic dvd storage tray is wonderful! The dvd storage tray easily mounts on the wall of a home / apartment. The dvd storage tray looks great. The dvd storage tray displays all the titles of the dvds that it holds. I will DEFINETLY purchase more case logic dvd storage trays for future use.
- Three of these items will store 42 single DVD cases. Two of the Domino products will store the same number of items.
Just for the heck of it I calculated the total cost per DVD for both sets of items -- 3 cases from Case Logic and 2 cases from Domino, including shipping and handling.
It works out to $.59 per DVD for the Case Logic set and $1.12 for the Domino set.
I'm about to order 3 of these Case Logic items.
- This product is EXCELLENT for storing single cases of DVD's. I have two trays completely full. This product allows for easy insertion and removal of DVD's. Two of these trays stack securely on top of each other - the one has a groove that the other will fit into. I am completely satisfied with them for this purpose.
The problem I ran into was with fitting in my TV series that I own. I assumed (and you know what they say about assuming things) that since a TV series is approximately the size of 2 DVD cases, that you could fit 7 different TV series in one of these trays. Unfortunately, a double DVD case won't fit at all. See, there are these little ridges that separate single DVD cases that are not visible in the pictures of this tray, and because of those ridges, anything bigger than a single DVD case will not fit.
Just keep this in mind when you buy this tray, because otherwise you'll be left with extra space in your tray and no room for those TV series. (In the end, I solved my problem by just stacking the TV series horizontally on top of the trays).
- It makes some sense to order Case Logic's slotted racks for DVDs. When adding to or subtracting from a sequence containing no more than 14 items, it's little bother to re-slot the entire collection into alphabetical, chronological, etc. order with each modification. What does not make sense is paying the prohibitive freight for this piece of plastic, especially when the manufacturer's comparable CD storage trays can be purchased postage-free through Amazon Prime. For the present, I'm just as happy to book-end my prime-time DVDs between a couple of weighty film-history books. (If that plan fails, I'll substitute statues of Sidney Greenstreet and John Candy.)
- Love this case as it can mount to the wall veritical or horizontal. We have tons of them and just keep buying more.

- this plug works with all dell chargers. i'm not sure about other brands but if you got a dell, this is for you ;)
- My laptop power cord for my IBM ThinkPad has been flaky for a year. After twisting and turning the power cord (the part that goes into the transformer), I could usually get it to work. Pricing that part gave me a bit of a shock. It was $21.95 at CompUSA. Checked here, and found it for $3.99, plus $4.99 shipping. Doesn't look all that fancy, but it seems to work fine. What a relief not to have to fool with the power cord anymore.
- I ordered wrong cord. asked for help. Immediate response. Helped me select correct cord. Speedy delivery. Would highly recommend to others, and use myself again.
- Dell notebook bricks are always ~1-3ft short of what I need, this fixed it in 3 secs. Please note not all Dell brick connectors are Mickey-Mouse type - I have an older one which is not - it has 3 holes, but in a straight line.
