5 comments about Monster Cable THX-GP 20-Pack Standard THX-Certified Gold-Plated Speaker Connectors.

1. I bought these connectors to terminate the speaker wire when I hooked up my Onkyo SKS-HT540 speaker system. On the receiver end of the wires I used banana plugs and on the speaker end I used these bad boys. I really probably would have preferred to use plugs on both ends but the speakers in the Onkyo system that I bought have spring clip connectors and since I wanted to avoid bare wire ends I went with these. I used 12 gauge wire and although it was a snug fit for these connectors it worked out well. The only thing that could have been better would have been if the pins were angled instead of straight so that the didn't stick out as much behind the speakers. Monster does make the angled speaker pins, but I found that they were significantly more expensive so I went with these and am glad I did.



2. I am using 12 gauge wire for all my speaker runs and wanted this type of connector to terminate them to a pair of Yahama NS1000M speakers. The NS1000Ms are older speakers that use a clamp type terminal. The 12 gauge wire will not fit in the solder cup on the THX speaker pins. Yes you can trim the wire down and with some careful soldering make them work but the color coded caps are not large enough to accmodate the 12 gauge wire. The specs should show the maximum usable wire size but do not.



3. You get what you pay for. Needless to say I didn't get much. These are made for low end small gauge wires for equiptment that is of the same calibur. Oh well.



4. I did not use the pins included here but did want these to color
   code my speaker wires. I used the color coding provided on the packaging
   and also used these to designate which wire of the pair was "+". I put
   the marker on the "+" wire so it is easy to know which wire goes where.
   
   I wish there was a package that just offered the rubber color markings without the pins at a reduced price.



5. These pins are adequate only for lower power connections - those using #12 AWG and smaller wire sizes. The barrel into which the wire is inserted for crimping is too small to accommodate #10 Monster Cable.

2 comments about Palm TX Designio Leather Case (Horizontal Flip Cover).

1. Many choices out there for a Palm TX cover, and I wanted one that would first and foremost protect the Palm, and secondly wouldn't hinder using it on a daily basis. Good looks were a consideration as well.
   
   This product, afer several months of useage, fits the bill well. The padded leather has held up beautifully, and the magnetic latch has proven very easy to use with one hand.
   
   Well worth the money!



2. I received this cover a week ago for Christmas after my original cover finally broke off. I feels and looks very well made and fits the TX well and snug, The leather is nice and soft and has an expensive feel about it. The front flap is plenty thick and contains slots for 2 SD cards and some credit/business cards. Because the TX stylus is easily accessible while the TX is in the case, I do not need to use the center slot in the case for storing the stylus, I leave it in the TX. I guess you could put a spare there. All other buttons and ports are easily accessible as well, so you'll never need to remove the TX from the case for charging, syncing, etc.
   
   The only issue I have with this case is that when the case is open (i.e you are using the TX), the latch flap tends to get in the way at times. It would have been better to have this flap attached to the front flap of the case, reaching around and connecting at the back, so it would not be right next the the screen when opened.
   
   Overall, I am very happy with this case. I don't think there is a better one on the market.

1. As with a lot of similar products, sandisk's should only be considered by people who don't need any documentation. That's because there isn't any. If it doesn't work first time, then forget it. There's no documentation, not even on their web site. So please Sandisk, how about some customer support?



2. I debated long and hard about buying a PDA with integrated WiFi and this SD card was my compromise. It's definitely nicer on the budget than splurging for integration. And it's alot less inconvenient then I thought it would be. I've found the card easy to install and it never drops my connection. You just pop it in the memory slot and it does its thing. Even when I'm walking from hotspot to hotspot, I don't have to pay attention to it at all.

   Ok here are the caveats. 1) It's a little slow loading webpages, but that could be due to my pda hardware or the network at my school which I found to be slow using the wifi on my laptop. 2) I once had a problem that it suddenly wasn't recognizing the networks. However I reinstalled the driver and it worked perfectly. 3) Sandisk doesn't yet have a driver for Palm OS, a problem that my Palm friends complain about relentlessly. But it serves them right for choosing Palm, right?

   Nevertheless, I give this card a 5 star rating because the flaws are rather minor and in the ever-important areas of cost and convenience, it surpassed all my expectations.




3. The SanDisk WiFi card installation was easy to understand however only gave details of how to install the card if you don't run into any problems. I have an Ipaq 3955 and I installed the drivers and software to find that the card couldn't be detected. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice before search the internet for a fix. I updated my ROM on my device. Reinstalled my software and all of my personal data which had to be backed up before being erased to update ROM. After all that it still didn't work. Finally, on a fluke I find out that I have to hold the card in because it doesn't sit in the port correctly. After doing that too much I'll be working on a sure case of carpel tunnel syndrome. The browser works perfectly but, at what cost? Tech support wouldn't admit that others had the problem but I found at least 3 of the same complaints online. TS on recommendation is to return it and get another Sandisk. Maybe I'll return it and get another
   WiFi card all together.



4. This is a great an easy way to connect to the internet via wifi access point. Just load the drivers and run the application on your device. Be sure you have the right kind however, this works best with Pocket Pc's. However it will work with the Zire 71 model as well. THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH ZIRE 72!



5. Palm Zire 71 Owner: Important Note, July 2004. Revision 2.1 of this card or newer, whose package is marked as compatible with the Zire 71, is required if you wish to use this card with the Zire 71. The older revsion card for Pocket PC only will not work due to a hardware design change. The new card is manufacturer's part #SDWSDB-000-A10M.

1. This did not work out of the package and I returned it to Amazon for a refund. Have not received it yet. Bought one locally.



2. This remote worked fine when I first received it. However, about three weeks later, it would not controll my dvd and vcr. I am constantly having to reprogram it, especially for the dvd. I'm very disappointed.



3. We got this remote to replace a dead remote for a TV in our bedroom, not even for the purpose of hooking multiple devices together. We decided on this remote by the highly scientific process of going to the store, and selecting the cheapest universal remote they had available. The remote worked with the very minimal effort of finding the TV's code in the manual (which has a large selection of device codes (though in my experience, the first code for any given product usually works). Recently, we have switched tvs around and added various components to our setups and it has worked with almost every device (including a 13 year old AIWA stereo system and the Cable tuner from some company I've never heard of). It only has had some trouble with this DVD/VCR combo from Philips that we just got (which surprises me to no end). I would give it only four stars for that small caveat if it wasn't so darn cheap. For the price, the general multipurpose-ness of this device deserves the full 5 stars.



4. I bought this for a 1 year old who kept re-programming his parents' television and dvd players because he loved to play with the remote controls, so I have no idea how it functions as an actual remote because we did not put batteries in it for him to play with.
   But he loves it as a play remote! It also doubles as a drumstick sometimes.....



5. Got it, put batteries in, put in codes, and it worked. Even for my old TV. But. . .don't throw away the code list. I tossed mine and now can't find codes for my new DVD player (planning on calling Philips, don't foresee an issue.)

1. This is about the simplest item one could buy. It is literally one inch of wire encased in plastic. No circuits, no moving parts. Virtually impossible for this item to fail--ever. If anyone is giving this less than 5 stars then they bought the wrong item or they have a beef with Amazon.



2. had to find adapter, but in stock here. Worked like a charm - made my new imac connections work with my older hardrives still.

1. The case logic dvd storage tray is wonderful! The dvd storage tray easily mounts on the wall of a home / apartment. The dvd storage tray looks great. The dvd storage tray displays all the titles of the dvds that it holds. I will DEFINETLY purchase more case logic dvd storage trays for future use.



2. Three of these items will store 42 single DVD cases. Two of the Domino products will store the same number of items.
   
   Just for the heck of it I calculated the total cost per DVD for both sets of items -- 3 cases from Case Logic and 2 cases from Domino, including shipping and handling.
   
   It works out to $.59 per DVD for the Case Logic set and $1.12 for the Domino set.
   
   I'm about to order 3 of these Case Logic items.



3. This product is EXCELLENT for storing single cases of DVD's. I have two trays completely full. This product allows for easy insertion and removal of DVD's. Two of these trays stack securely on top of each other - the one has a groove that the other will fit into. I am completely satisfied with them for this purpose.
   
   The problem I ran into was with fitting in my TV series that I own. I assumed (and you know what they say about assuming things) that since a TV series is approximately the size of 2 DVD cases, that you could fit 7 different TV series in one of these trays. Unfortunately, a double DVD case won't fit at all. See, there are these little ridges that separate single DVD cases that are not visible in the pictures of this tray, and because of those ridges, anything bigger than a single DVD case will not fit.
   
   Just keep this in mind when you buy this tray, because otherwise you'll be left with extra space in your tray and no room for those TV series. (In the end, I solved my problem by just stacking the TV series horizontally on top of the trays).



4. It makes some sense to order Case Logic's slotted racks for DVDs. When adding to or subtracting from a sequence containing no more than 14 items, it's little bother to re-slot the entire collection into alphabetical, chronological, etc. order with each modification. What does not make sense is paying the prohibitive freight for this piece of plastic, especially when the manufacturer's comparable CD storage trays can be purchased postage-free through Amazon Prime. For the present, I'm just as happy to book-end my prime-time DVDs between a couple of weighty film-history books. (If that plan fails, I'll substitute statues of Sidney Greenstreet and John Candy.)



5. Love this case as it can mount to the wall veritical or horizontal. We have tons of them and just keep buying more.
