  1. I got a wrong product shipped, shippment took long to reach me.

But a good thing was I returned the item because it was not that was ordered. I got the full refund including shiping charges withing a week of return

  2. I would say that the seller is great. At first he had sent me the wrong product but when i brought it to his notice he had instant send me the new product

  3. The first time, they shipped me a wrong product which was not the same with what I ordered. I sent them an email. They reshipped me the correct product without any delay or problem. That was very nice.

  4. I just wanted a cheap cord to connect my laptop to my older tv. It works but it shows up in black and white on my tv. As a comparison, the exact same type of cord purchased at Radio Shack for about 5x as much money, is in full color with no other adjustments made.

  5. The Cable is a Great product, and helped to connect my Laptop to my TV. The Clarity and sound is also good. Actually, I also connected my laptop to my Old Tv, via a RF Modulator, since the TV dint have a RCA adaptors. Still the video Clarity and sound is great. A must buy for a cheap connectivity for Laptop/Computers/Digicams/PDAs to TV

  1. Bought two of these 6-foot Belkin PureAV's for my HD TV set-up. The image quality is very good and the cable is heavy and well-made. Can't go wrong at this price.

  2. The great picture quality was a given, but what I hadn't thought about was how much it cuts down on cable clutter. Good price too.

  3. I used this cable from my home theater DVD player to my HD TV, works good for a good price.

  4. I know amazon pushes these, but the cable I had was junk. SECRET: Buy monster on ebay -bought 2 6 footers for $25. All HDMI's will give you same pics, but some have higher fail rates. These failed me.

  5. I'm absolutely satisfied with this product. I bought two of them for our recent LCD TV purchase. It's triple shielded in a nice rubbery black casing with 24k gold connectors. My upconverting DVD player reports 1080p and boy, it looks it! This is a bit more expensive than the low-cost cables but I think it's worth the step up. I've owned other Belkin cables and they sell quality products. No compromises here and you save a fortune over the overpriced Monster cables.

5 comments about Logitech Harmony 1000 Advanced Universal Remote.
  1. I love the idea of "activity based" remote. You set to do common-sense tasks like "watch TV" or "watch DVD", and for each activity it turns on the right things to the right settings, and gives you all the relevant controls. It'll turn everything on and off, and let you adjust volume, change channels, etc. without ever needing to tell it which device you're controlling while you use it, that's all determined by the activity.

The set-up software is weak. Even though it runs as PC software, it clearly works mostly as web-based software and is calling the Windows built-in browser functions for most screens. Sometimes after making settings you get errors like "page not found" and when you click next it gives a Windows dialog about needing to "re-submit form data" as if you were in a web browser, even if you're just programming changing settings via the USB cable.

Sometimes it takes a really long time to connect to the remote, and you don't know if it's an Internet problem or a firewire stopping the web-based software from working with a peripheral, or what. The remote never even changes its screen to say "USB mode" or anything, it just ignores the connection most of the time.

The help screens in the software aren't all that helpful. You choose a Sony Playstation 3 as a device, it gives you a screen saying you need an optional Nyco Infrared receiver. But if you have one, it doesn't tell you what device settings to use for it, it just says you need one, without asking if you have it or suggesting any settings.

Once it's all working this can work well, but you certainly need to jump through a few hoops to get it set up.

  2. I'll keep it short:
My Harmony 1000 stalls too often, actually reqiring me to take out the battery and repower it. Then, it often seems to forget various tasks of an activity, forcing me to go through a tedious "Everything not working yet?" wizard.
Navigating through the touch screen menues is very cumbersome, as the fairly mediocre touch screen allows only 9 (non-editable) buttons per screen.
The setup routine is very user-UNfriendly as well. Adding a specific command to an activity compares to rocket science.

The idea of uniting all your remotes to one single touch-screen-based controller for only a few hundred dollars is a (very) good one. And Logitech does deliver 85% of this promise. But lacking the final 15%, my Harmony mostly sits on its dock, unused.

  3. I've had the Harmony 1000 and RF Extender for a year and love it! I have a very complex system but I'm one of the lucky one's cuz setup was a breeze. Sure, it's got some quirks, but nothing so bad that I regret buying it or have stopped using it. Truth is, I can't imagine ever going back to my old universal remote. Or worse still, an array of manufacturer's remotes sitting on the table. For my experience, this remote was worth every penny and the RF Extender is an added must have!

Back when I got this, the remote was $275 with a rebate on the RF Extender which covered the entire cost, making it free. The software used to configure the remote has its limitations, but I think it's intentionally designed that way to help people with limited understanding of cabling and video inputs and outputs. If you have a basic grasp of what channel or video inputs your components need to be on, then you really shouldn't have much trouble. I was able to setup a complex home theater system with an HDTV, Onkyo receiver, 2 DVD players, 2 DirecTV HD DVRs and a multi CD player all within 90min. I was so encouraged by how simple it was that I then setup a second TV in the bedroom with a VCR.

I think where some people may have trouble is with a lack of patience. We expect everything to work perfect out of the box with little effort. The RF Extender also adds a slight delay to the equation because when you push a hard button or touch the screen, there's a nano second delay before you get the desired result. But it's not that big a deal really once you get used to it. We also tend to resist change and this remote as a stark departure from the standard rectangular remote with rubbery buttons you're likely used to. For me, I wanted a remote that was the next step up from the old boring remotes we all know. But that's not to say it doesn't have some issues though.

I gave the remote 4 stars instead of five because of the quirks. Sometimes I get runaway volume where it goes all the way up or down after just one button press. Others have said they can only correct the problem by popping out the battery, but I've never had to do that. I just hit a couple different hard buttons on the remote which stops the problem for me. I have, however, had to pull the battery out once or twice when the remote wouldn't respond. But that's been pretty rare. I liken it to having to reboot a computer and I've come to realize that I should treat the remote like a computer, and give it time to "boot up" when I remove it from the charging cradle. This isn't an official suggestion from Logitech. I've just noticed that when I pull it off the charger and use it immediately, that's when problems can happen. But if I take it off the charger and set it aside for a couple minutes before using it, I rarely have problems. Also, keep in mind if you've setup a complex system, there's bound to be a few hiccups from time to time. But for me, nothing I consider to be a big deal.

Overall, I'm very happy with this remote and can't imagine not having it in my life. If you're reading about some of the problems people have had and are on the fence with buying it, why not give it a try for yourself? After all, you can always return it if it doesn't work for you. And who knows, you may very well love it as much as I do.

    Good luck!!
    :)

  4. DO NOT BUY HARMONY DEVICES!

After 4 days of trying to get this to work and extensive interactions with morons at Logitech customer service i'm giving up. There were bugs in the firmware of the remote and the extender and after hours of interactions I found out it won't control my devices and takes minutes to boot up and is just a vile piece of bad design.

This product is completely and utterly worthless and I'm furious
    at Microsoft once again.

I look forward to the day that Microsoft and Logitech file
    for bankruptcy.

    Ken Goldberg

  5. Good for static people? What I mean is for those folks who don't fast forward or use the touch screen.. I'm a TIVO guy and a FFWD guy and having to watch your thumb to make sure you hit the button and stop it before the commercials are over.. Not Good..

I have the Harmony One and now have a 890 replacing this one.. It's a sweet eye catching device.. but functional for us non static users---Not so much.

  1. This is the type of cables that makes your life easy. Light, compact and that works perfect.

  2. I need a USB cable in my car so that I can charge up my iPod any time. I was surprised this cable is that cheap, and it does the job!

  3. Works great with my 30GB my iPod, especially after my toddler "misplaced" the original sync cable. Exceptional value, works great!

  4. Fast deliver! It's a little bit different from the orginal cable that comes with your iPod but it works the same way, only it's more convenient because it's retractable. Personally experience, because of the difference, your roommate can't steal your cable and claims it as hers.

  5. I was skeptical about this cable because I had bought one from eForcity a few weeks ago that was advertised similarly. That cable was also about $3 for the cable+shipping, but when I went to plug it in, my computer didn't react at all. That one did charge, but very slowly.

This one works perfectly for my iPod 5G and Vista, and the retractable feature is a real plus. Great buy, glad I didn't resort to buying the $20 official Apple one.

  1. Video quality is great. I'm very satisfied with the tapes. There's not much else you can say about a MDV tape. I would buy again for $11.

  2. I bought the product for my camera and it worked out pretty well. I am not overly snooty about it and am not concerned with max quality or anything, it records well and does the job.

  3. I've gone through a few dozen of the Panasonic branded miniDV tapes and I have yet to have a single issue.

  4. I have been using these tapes for years (one time use though) and have never had any problems yet.

  5. I bought this tapes because of the extreme value. I use them in my dvx100b.
from my experience they function fine, except the occasional frame drop.

5 comments about JVC HAFX33A Marshmallow In-Ear Stereo Headphones (Blue).
  1. Good quality comfortable head phone and sound is really good. This is a good upgrade from the Zune provided headphone.

  2. This is my second set of these earphones. They are the best I've ever used...seriously. They are really good blocking out ambient noise...even airplane noise. They fit comfortably in the ears and stay put once in. I highly recommend this product.

  3. I have to say that for the cost these are a pleasant surprise.

Pros (apart from the price of course)
    * Isolate sound quite well, could compete with pricier models. Have used this on the metro, in aeroplanes, blocking out husband's horribly tasteless 70s disco cds and on busy streets with traffic racing by, and while it doesn't block all sound it does a very decent job of getting rid of enough noise to allow you to fade away and enjoy your music.
    * THEY STAY IN MY EAR!! My expensive Sony noise cancelling earphones have been rendered useless as the buds won't stay in my ears - and this is when standing still. With the JVC I could tap dance and they'd still be there
    * Chord doesn't get tangled
    * Nice colour...

    Cons:
    * The sound is only so-so, as can be expected from earphones in this price range.
    * The chord came off the earbud after 6 months. This could be my own fault however, as I've been pretty careless with it.

On the whole, don't expect to be wowed by the sound; I mainly listen to classical music and the earphones don't do justice to the nuances in the music. However, if you're looking for sound isolation for a ridiculously good price and aren't too fussed about the sound you really cannot go wrong with a pair of these, even if only as a spare pair. I'll definitely purchase one again as an extra pair.

Oh, and did I mention they come in very cute colours?

  4. These headphones are very comfortable, they almost feel like nothing is in your ear. The only problem is they sound horrible. There is no bass at all. It sounds like someone took a speaker out of one of my two year old's toys and stuck it in an earbud. I still use them but if you are looking for quality sound, look at something else or a newer model. I did notice the model number of mine isn't the same as the ones being sold in department stores. Maybe that's why I got mine for the price I did.

  5. I'm no audiophile, but these little guys sound great. However with a little modding (Kramer Mod), they will beat out most things around their price range. Seriously guys, 10 bucks for headphones is not a lot. Plus, the color s cool too.

    Pros:
    Sounds great
    Wires never tangle
    Looks discrete and cool
    Adjustable wire
    Very Bassy
    Sound Isolation

    Cons:
Uncomfortable when used for long periods of time
Whenever you eat something, or something touches the wire, you will hear an annoying noise. Oh well.
Foam tips get a little disgusting at time (You may find some earwax if your one of those people who don't clean your ears too often).

Note: Try breathing over the foam tips so that they get mushy. Then shove the marshmallows ALL THE WAY IN. This should give you the best sound possible.

    Just buy them.

5 comments about Belkin Tunebase FM Transmitter with ClearScan for iPod.
  1. Before I go on with this review let me first say that I bought this product brand spanking new off of ebay for about 25.00 including shipping which is much much lower than retail.

I should also mention that this is being used w/ my Ipod touch 16 gb, and prior to using this i had a creative labs zen vision M and was using a different transmitter that plugged in the the headphone jack and was wireless.

So far so good, I used it for the first time on commute to and from work. The clear scan feature is cool as it will find a good station for the player. I live in the Chicago-land area so most signals either have interference or are occupied, this being said this works much better then the previous one i was using. The pro2 setting is the best IMO and does offer the best audio I've found on an FM transmitter.

While I've only had this for a few days I cannot speak for the quality of the product's durability. So far this is worth the high price tag that it would fetch in retail. My biggest beef w/ this is that the holder tube is too wide and w/ my connect piece being right by the shifter and below the radio controls it makes it hard to position the player standning up and not to hit the radio controls. If they made the snake part thinner that would have been ideal, but all in all so far so good. If anything get it from a store w/ a good return policy so if you don't like it you can return it. I bought it dirt cheap on ebay so I have no issues w/ the price, but trust me it is the best one I've used so far.

  2. I used the Belkin Tunebase in 2 different cars in 2 different areas of the country and it didn't work. Could barely hear the Ipod on any of the stations it selected because of interference from other stations. Caveat Emptor

  3. The Belkin Tunebase FM with ClearScan is unlikely to satisfy even a somewhat discriminating user. The auto scan is not reliable, frequently selecting frequencies that are in use by broadcasters. Further, the ability to eliminate noise needs improvement. On the plus side, the fit is snug in the lighter socket and the neck is flexible, but sturdy, allowing for easy movement of the iPod to a position that will hold steady.

  4. Even though it does not explicitly say that it works with iPhone 3G, it does. The iPhone gives you a message saying it's not designed to work for it, just cancel out of the message and it will work. Charges it and plays music over FM transmitter. Audio quality is good, at times cell interference does happen, but not frequently. As of yet (10/01/08) it does not include adapters that are custom fit to the iPhone, so that is something that you hvae to work around.

  5. This is a great device for playing your ipod in the car. Very easy to use. Love it.

5 comments about Koss SPARKPLUG - Stereo In Ear Ear Plugs.
  1. I think these headphones work great for running. Simply squeeze the foam and place it in your ear. It expands enough to stay put. It does a great job of blocking out outside noise, almost to a point of danger especially if you are running on roads with these. You will never hear a car coming.

They do produce a lot of low and tight base. The treble is above average.

  2. I have been using these ear plugs for over two years now. Usually they are in the front pocket of my backpack ready to go. The price is cheap enough that I don't have to be careful porting them around. Made like an earplug but with a hollowed out center, they are good at minimizing noise around without having the more expensive noise canceling devices. Personally I like booming bass and these little plugs deliver. The one thing I would do differently is ship it with a carrying case as the long wires can become tangled.

  3. You definitely get what you pay for with these. Bought them because I had lost my iPod standard headphones for $14 at a local store. The cushioning of the earpieces made it possible to keep them in for long stretches of hours without ear soreness. The main issue with them was that they stopped working after 2 months. The wires attached to the inline mute button came loose on both ends, requiring 5-10 minutes of fiddling with the wires and positioning, until I could get a faint stream of music, which went away the second the wires shifted and were disconnected again. Koss customer support still hasn't responded to any of my emails for three weeks now.

Buy them if you just need cheap decent headphones, but don't be disappointed when you need to buy a new pair in a few months. At least for $14, you can afford it.

  4. At ten dollars, you get what you pay for. The Koss Sparkplugs are heavy on the bass, tinny at the top, and possess no discernible mid-range. If you believe strong bass equals quality sound, these might just be for you. Otherwise avoid. Suitable for beats but not much else.

  5. These plugs fit well because you squeeze them down to fit inside your ears. Once in they swell out and fit comfortably snug inside your ears. You don't need as much volume as other plugs because the ambient noise is attenuated well. The frequency response is okay. Good at the bass end, and okay for the rest of the spectrum. They're great for working in the yard or at the gym, because they don't fall out. They are well worth the $10 I spent for them.

  1. Cell phone headphones are hard to come by. If you go through headphones like me you don't want to keep buying ones because you lose them or they break. With this adapter you can use your favorite 3.5mm earphones that you use for your MP3 player. Everyone always has standard headphones around their house so buy this inexpensive adapter.

  2. It fit perfectly. i read another review saying i needed this 3 ring adapter so i chose this one. it works perfectly. Just i wudve kinda liked the wire to be a little bit thicker. Also the price for something so simple is just ridiculous. But its pretty much the cheapest u can get online. If you have the Env2 Vx9100 then get this adapter and not the 2 ring one.

  3. It's a simple little converter, and works perfectly with my 2.5mm phone output to my 3.5mm headphones and 3.5mm speakers.

I purchased from OrionGadgets, which shipped VERY quickly.

  4. I have an LG enV 2 and this allows me to play it into standard headphones and to play it into my home stereo using the common RCA adaptor. Combined with an 8GB micro SD card, the phone is now a great mp3 music source. Three ring is indeed the proper converter for the LG.

  5. This connector works perfectly with the LG Rumor and allows me to use my own headphones in full stereo. I would assume it works with all LG phones.

  1. Probably one of the best cables ive bought. Its longer than i thought which is very convenient since i can have more slack when i need it but for now i just hide the excess behind the couch. Havent had a single problem with it yet and there doesnt seem to be any delay or anything. Its well built and sturdy. I remember getting a cord a couple years back for my xbox and it was $25 and was only 25 feet i believe. Needless to say this is a great deal. 5/5!

  2. Do you want your computer somewhere that is much better but cannot have it there because your current cat five ethernet cable is too short? Well this cable is just the thing that you need and it is really great for some lan parties where people have to bring their own cables to school or if you are going to school and you need to plug into the schools network for internet access.

  3. I brought this cable because I was having trouble with my wireless signal with my Verizon DSL. I needed a long cable for my labtop in another part of my home. For only $12.90 this cable worked great. Now I don't have spend time playing with my network settings to try to get a signal.

  4. It is a ethernet cable, and it works, and is cheap. That's all you need to know.

  5. this is a good wire. wont tangle. also it came it 2 days even though i wanted 3-5 day shipping!
