4 comments about Genius G-Pen 340 3-by-4-inch Tablet with Cordless Pen.
- I purchased this product because I hate my laptop's touchpad and my beloved Wacom tablet is too heavy. Yes, the G-Pen is lightweight, but it does not work. I have gone through the installation procedure 8 times but no help. It worked for two minutes but then froze. When it worked, the cursor movement was sluggish and unresponsive. I would recommend this highly for use as a paperweight, but that is all.
- This product is great. I can use it with any graphics editing program that I have installed on my computer. The strokes are fluid and everything moves well. I like using it as a mouse. It's easier on my wrists. I have not had any problems with this product, the installation was smooth and easy as well as fast.
The person that had problems with his tablet probably did not read the manual that comes on the disk when you install it. That or the driver didn't install correctly because something wasn't compatible with his computer.
Don't let one person's bad experience deter you because it might be great for you! I love mine!
- Great Tablet although the pen needs battery and weighs a bit much, besides that its a great tool!
- I've played with a few types of tablets, but never could afford any of them o.0 However when I came across the Genius seres I debated that it might be so cheap because it was some how defective. Now that I have one I can't think of how I managed art with a mouse. It works great with GIMP on Win 98, and XP. The only problem I have found is the program not reading the mouse after using the tablet, along with minor lags. I find this a minor inconvenience, well worth the price, and great if it is your first tablet. It takes around 2 or 3 days to master it, and after a week you'll be zipping around your art with your tablet. Also the hot keys can be reset to run what ever programs you like, instead of the presets.

5 comments about Nike Sport Armband - Black (TP527VC/A).
- This armband for IPOD nano 3G is awesome. I love the construction and it's
quality! And it does not snag or loose on the arm unlike similar products.
The velcro is very good! Everyday I'm very proud to use it during work and play!
- The previous design of this product (the narrow nano) is far better. This design fails in many ways for those of us who sweat a bit more than others. First, the plastic window is bigger than it needs to be and this locks in more moisture as a result. Second, the manner in which the nano and receiver are inserted is poorly conceived as it leaves the connection between the nano and the Nike+ receiver in direct contact with your skin and sweat. Third, if you lift weights and your arms are bit bigger, this band is a bit on the tight side. Forth, the slot in which the nano slides into has a rubber backing, this creates a sandwich in which the nano gets encased in sweat. Lastly, because of the way the nano and the Nike+ receiver come in and out of the pouch, it stretches the fabric a lot more than the prior design which will cause this armband to wear out a lot faster or fail altogether.
I do sweat more than the average person, but like I said, the older versions of this armband never had these problems. This design is flawed for the sweaty people on the planet.
Update:A new negative - the controls don't respond as well through the plastic window, I constantly have to fidget with the iPod to get the controls to respond properly. The plastic window inhibits proper operation of the controls. As I mentioned above, the previous designs for the older generation Nike+ armbands were superior, the controls were covered by fabric in the older design and I never had the problems I am having now.
On the plus, the design does not snag on my clothes at all. It's lightweight and not bulky like most of the armband on the market.
- Well, this product does what it needs to do. It holds the iPod in place and also fits the receiver for the nike + iPod attachment. After about two weeks of use I have run into two problems
1) The plastic window fogs up which makes me worry about moisture in my iPod
2) The click wheel is very difficult to use - it is very frustrating navigating the menu. You either end up pressing a button or the selection jumps all over the place
A simple solution I found was to cut a circle out around the click wheel making it easier to use and also providing some ventilation. for the price though, this shouldn't be necessary.
- As soon as i opened up this $.25 product I was in total disgust. C'mon Nike! $30.00 for this? This is going back. I am very disappointed.
- I can't believe Nike put their logo on this piece of crap. I have only run with it 10 times and it is falling apart. When I sweat the screen of my ipod literally steams up. The plugs at the bottom of the ipod are literally exposed and sweat soaks right up into adapter parts. Why didn't they just create a larger version of the previous nano armband which worked perfectly and was machine washable.

1 comments about HDMI Female to HDMI Female Gold Plated Adapter Coupler By IKross.
- I was a little worried/skeptical about trying this product, as i don't know anyone else who has used one of these, but i had a unique situation, where i had mounted my tv above my fireplace, and had to literally cut sheetrock on the sides of my mantel in order to run my hdmi wires down the side to my cable box...well, i patched all of that, and refinished it...then i decided a couple months later, that i would like to hide all my components, so i had 2 choices, either rip out my sheetrock again, or buy one of these extenders....i bought the extender, plugged it in, ran another 15 hoot hdmi cord under the house and to a closet where i put all of my components, and i couldn't be happier...not picture quality lost at all(at least non that i can tell)...and it has worked absolutely perfect...i couldn't be happier, and for the price and ease of use, you can't beat it.

5 comments about Belkin A3L791-S 7-Foot RJ45 CAT 5e Snagless Molded Patch Cable (Gray).
- What can you say? It works perfectly and is of high qulity.
- It does what it's supposed to, and CompUsa delivered it in amazing time.
- Nice gray molded patch cable works great if you're computing close to where you'll be hooked up to the network. I use this in my dorm, so I'm very close to the plug in. If you're going to be farther away from the network plug in, get a longer cable. I'd definitely recommend Belkin cables to anyone!
- Just after buying a new computer (Dell), I realized that it would be a good idea to replace my modem to computer (Cat5) cord. When the cords arrived, I connected them then logged on. Could not believe the difference. I was using an older blue cord that I picked up from a family member. I ordered this cable because I wanted a longer cable, but was really happy and pleasantly surprised with the increased speed. We have SBC DSL Elite, and everything is so much faster with the new Belkin Cat 5. I recommend this Cat5 cable.
- Instead, going to radioshack or somewhere else and waste money, buy this product for cheaper price and save money on tax and gas!it's unbelivebly fast.

5 comments about Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable (6 meters).
- This is an excellent cable that appears to be very sturdy and provides flawless service with a high performance Blu-Ray/HDTV combination (Panasonic DMP BD30/Samsung LN52a750). There are no deficiencies whatsoever that I have found in the performance or construction of the (1000 series) Monster cable. It is also a very nice-looking cable.
Why only 4 stars, you may ask. Answer: the price. Even with Amazon's substantial discount, this product is overpriced. Let me share what I have read and learned about HDMI cable since I spent the 80 bucks on a Monster cable.
Many have said that an HDMI cable transfers digital information and either works, or not. This is not entirely true. It is true in the sense that you will probably either experience major problems or you will experience only subtle problems (or none) from an inferior cable. The subtle problems are likely to be irrelevant to most people unless you have a Blu-Ray player and HDTV combo capable of producing "deep color".
I would assume that the transfer of digital information through an HDMI cable is analogous to pouring water through a funnel. There is a limit to how fast you can pour water into the funnel (if you set aside the possibility of variations in gravity, black holes, time/space distortions, spout diameter, or atmospheric pressure/vacuum differentials). If you attempt to pour faster, the funnel overflows and some of the water is lost. Logically, the same should be true if a premium A/V set tries to push more bandwidth than the cable will allow. The data rates of simple static scenes and fast moving complex scenes vary substantially. This means that an inferior cable may work fine 99% of the time, but fail when the transmission rate is very high. This could result in a temporary loss of audio or video, video pixilation, audio or video skipping, or the loss of audio/video synchronization. It could also cause the HDMI to "kick down" the transmission to a lower resolution. To put it simply, you can watch "Rambo" on Blu-Ray using a cheap cable, but you might miss the best parts.
The latest specification for high-speed HDMI cable is HDMI 1.3 or better. HDMI 1.3 goes well beyond the requirements for existing equipment. There are no differences between 1.3, 1.3a, and 1.3b that are relevant to the consumer. 1.3 more than doubles the bandwidth of the previous standard (from 4.95 Gbits/s or 165 MHz to 10.2 Gbits/s or 340 MHz). It gives you the equivalent of a wider spout for the digital information to pass through as well as better support for multichannel audio.
Versions prior to HDMI 1.3 might not support:
* Super Audio CD (SACD) - A higher fidelity format than ordinary CD's
* DVD-A(udio) - This is a format for delivering very high fidelity digital audio content on a DVD. This is an audio-only format and does not include common DVD movies.
Versions prior to HDMI 1.3 do not support:
* Deep Color - Billions and billions of colors. 30 bits of color precision or greater.
* Dolby True HD - An advanced multi-channel lossless audio codec.
* Audio to Video Synchronization - Auto Lip Sync. Admittedly, if you're watching a Kung Fu movie, this won't help.
Premium cables may have better shielding, but this is unlikely to matter in common circumstances. You can certainly find cables meeting the 1.3 standard for far less than you have to pay for a Monster cable. The rap on cheaper cables is that the connectors are often less sturdy than a premium brand and fall apart. If you actually need a cable that is 1.3 compliant, you've already spent thousands of dollars on your system. Unless you are completely broke at this point, you might be more comfortable buying the cable from a manufacturer that has a reputation it must protect. Bear in mind that according to their own published specifications, only the most expensive (1000 series) Monster cable is 1.3 compliant. The good news is that you can buy the Monster cable (2meters) at Amazon for about 45% less than you would pay at Best Buy.
Having said all that, you might first want to try the bluejeanscable or monoprice websites. They seem to have happy customers and their prices are a fraction of Monster or Sony. I didn't discover these sites until after I had purchased the Monster cable. The cables they sell are HDMI 1.3 compliant and prices run about $6 to $10 for a two meter cable. Since they are certified to meet the new standard, the only potential problem might be in durability. Even if that is the case, it shouldn't be a problem unless you are frequently moving things around and pulling on the cable. If you are planning to use a long run of cable through the wall, then you certainly will want to check these sites out. Only a drunken sailor or the uninformed would spend the Monster price on a 50' cable unless it was truly necessary. You could buy a Blu-Ray player for the difference.
- SLightly Pricy but picture quality is beyond outstanding. With the lifetime guarantee it is the last HDMI cable you will ever need to buy!
- I bought 2 new HDTVs at a national chain. I bought two cables with the HDTVs. Needed 3 more (DVD players). Same cables, and saved a mountain of $$$$. Cables work great at 1080i and 1080p speeds! These are the cables to get and AMAZON is the place to get them. Cables work great!
- Well I can't really say that these are any easier to use than other cables. It would be silly to say they are better looking.
What I will say is, I spent $1200 on a 1080p HDTV. I bought an upscaling DVD player. All with the intention of seeing the best picture possible.
So would it make sense to get some $12 discount cables?
If you want a good system, make sure you buy a cable that will pass the signal. Look at the specs, you can't go wrong with a monster.
- Bought this item on sale (half price, new open-box) with great anticipation and enthusiasm. Used to connect a Denon Blu-Ray player to a Samsung LCD HDTV at 1080p. Played just fine at first watching a DVD movie, but suddenly started to "pop" and "flicker" noisily during playback. Tried reconnecting, reversing, "rebooting", everything. TV would say "no signal" intermittantly during playback after more pops and flickers, or even when DVD paused or stopped. Clearly was not getting the HDMI signals from the (brand new) Player to the (brand new) monitor. Connections seemed loose at the TV and the Player - pulled out too easily: apparently undersized or worn out. Suspect it was previously used or abused, returned in original packaging, and then re-sold to me. Shame.
Ended up purchasing a next-step-up (top of the line) Monster cable (gold M1000 HDMI) ... much tighter, firmer fit, robust. Problems solved immediately. Returning this one for refund.
Lesson learned - do not buy used "like new" or "open box" Monster Cables, regardless of assumed quality, or be prepared for disappointment. They are still expensive, but worthless if someone already "tested" it and ruined it and then returned it. Even a Monster cable can have or develop defects, or be damaged with abuse. Regardless of what happened to it, the sample I purchased as "like new" and tried to use was NOT up to Monster expectations and price, and performed extremely poorly - had me thinking something was wrong with the $3000 TV and/or $1500 Blu Ray. Well nigh caused a panic.

4 comments about inspiretech Retractable iPod Dock Connector to 3.5MM Auxillary Cable support: nano, classic, touch.
- I bought a few items from Clear AV, mostly success. This item works fine but another 2 didn't work at all. Their return policy makes YOU pay for shipping even if the item DOESN'T WORK. I am going to have to just eat the items. Also, I emailed them and have not yet even received a response. If you like to gamble, their items are cheap and sometimes they work.
- This item is cheap but it worked only for one week! I would not recommend buying it. But ClearAV has good customer service and they replaced it by return mail.
- This product just didn't work. It was a retractable 3.5MM aux jack & ipod dock connector, but came in a sealed package that said "Retractable iPod Dock to USB" Odd.
- I was a little worried about this product because of some of the other reviews I had seen, but once I got the product in hand I stopped worrying. The cord works great, I've used it in my car to connect to my car stereo and while I was camping to connect to my portable stereo. This cord provides great sounding audio from my iPod and I love the fact that the volume is controlled from the stereo and not on the iPod as the cord I had before would allow for both to be controlled and I was always adjusting the volume. I highly recommend this cord for anyone looking for one of these aux cables. Worked like a charm.

5 comments about Skullcandy Hesh Headphones Black/Red.
- These are great!!!
they have good sound, they are comfy, super loud - i can use them like speakers, they are so loud that the driver and i can hear them perfecly well off my head in the car when they are turned all the way up.
The only thing bad is that they start to hurt after like half an hour, not because of the sound but just cuz they are clamped on my head...but if i take them off for like a minute then its fine...and i dont think that can be avoided with over-the-head headphones.
oh and i have seen people say stuff like "my ear cant fit into these"...i mean really people, why does it matter? your main part of your ear goes in and the lobes and the top part goes out but its not uncomfortable. its perfecly fine and comfortable like that...i kinda had to laugh when i saw that people had said that.
and one more thing: they dont come with an adapter thing, just an extention cuz the wire attached to the headphones is like a foot...and with the extention its like four feet (im estimating without them in hand) which is plenty long
they do come with a travel pouch though (it fits perfetly on my head as a hat too!! lol)
these are great for the price and worth even more
your search for great headphones has come to an end
THANKS SKULLCANDY
- When I read all the reviews for the Skullcandy Hesh Headphones, the
majority were positive. However, after ordering the headphones I was
disappointed. First the positives: 1.The headphones(especially the black
ones) are beautiful looking, even more beautiful than I expected. 2. Some
reviews mentioned that it was somewhat cheaply made. Far from that. The
Hesh is actually very sturdy and the plastic extenders on the side are very
strong. 3. I love the logos and the beautiful lettering and artwork. Now the
negatives. 1. The main reason you spend 50 dollars for these headphones
was for the quality sound that they promised. However the sound to me
was good but not great. From all the rave reviews, I was expecting
something spectacular, but was disappointed with the average sound.
2. After using the headphones for a little while, your ears tend to get
sweaty and a little hot. All in all there are more positives than negatives
with these headphones. The sound is good enough, but for 50 dollars I
was expecting something great. Would I recommend these to a friend -
only if they cost about 30 dollars. For the 50 dollar price tag, they are not
quite that good.
- I own a pair of Bose Triport headphones. I've been playing bass for 12 years, and I've been producing electronic music for 5 years. Overall, I'd say I'm pretty picky on what my audio "sounds like". So, after reading nearly 100 reviews on these headphones, I finally caved in and bought them. Honestly, I have never had a set of 'phones that pounds as hard as these do. Not only is the bass response phenom, the highs are crisp, the mids are thick, and vocals cut through all of it like a knife. Even on some really bass heavy music, like Esham's "Tongues" album, the bass was hitting hard enough to shake my ears, while everything else came through loud and clear. If there is a song that can make these things distort, I haven't found it yet. I play everything from 311 to Phish to Boards of Canada to Ween to Esham to Project Deadman and everything in between on these babies and nothing comes close to making them sweat. To be fair, my Bose's never distort, but they also don't put out nearly as much bass, and come on, for the price you could buy 3 pairs of these, 1 for yourself and 2 to be Santa Clause. As for comfort, I routinely wear these for 1-3 hours at a time, and the music sounds so good I truly forget that I'm even wearing them. I also wear earrings and the ear pads don't press them into my skin, which is a plus. And don't forget the looks; Skullcandy's are the coolest looking headphones out there, sure to have a style that you like. And a lifetime half price replacement warranty if you break them and free replacement if they fail doesn't hurt either! So, can you really go wrong for about 50 bucks? Buy these and use the extra cash you saved over buying a pair of Bose and load up on itunes!
- These headphones are awesome what more can I say. After a little research I decided on these and they are worth the money. The first thing you notice is how good they sound and how much outside noise they cancel. They have a nice rich sound, good distinct highs and nice low and mid range response. They also are pretty comfortable, after a bit of adjusting they fit well, also cover the ear well, mine are pretty big and the fit is awesome. When at the store compared with a pair of Bose and they are very similar. If you are in the market don't think just get HESH you won't be disappointed they are candy for your skull.
- If you would consider yourself an audiophile and/or have owned a pair of Bose headphones, avoid these! I owned a pair of Bose Triports that broke and bought these hoping they would be a tolerable replacement for the money. Big mistake! I know I shouldn't have expected any comparison, as these are only 50 bucks, but they have raving reviews and some have even compared them to Bose. If all you care about is loudness, these are for you, as they are very loud, perhaps louder than Bose. Loudness does not equal quality or clarity, however. The frequency range on these headphones sucks! It starts at 100hz, so any frequency below that is cut out. You are missing a lot. They are also uncomfortable as others have said and hurt your ears after awhile. You can wear Bose for days and never be uncomfortable. I can also vacuum wearing Bose and not hear it. Not so with these. Those of you who think you are getting great quality at a low price are mistaken. It is well worth the $125(sale price)-$140(reg price) for Bose quality, which is something you won't find in these cheap headphones. If you want perfect sound quality, perfect comfort, and excellent noise canceling, put these back on the rack, save up some more money and spring for the Bose. I ended up returning these, sending my broken Triports (which are out of warranty) back to Bose, and they are sending me a brand new pair for only $60 bucks! ( only $10 more than these!) Trust me, if you're an audiophile, these headphones suck!

- With a laptop I found it needs power cord. It works well and does what it is supposed to do.
- I bought this to power the SmartDisk FireLite drive I was using for backup because I had to start connecting the FireLite drive to a USB hub, rather than directly to the PC. Within two weeks, the FireLite drive failed -- permanently -- and I'm not sure whether the drive failed on its own or whether the power supply caused failure. Either way, I'm not about to buy another SmartDisk, so this power adapter is pretty much useless.
- I purchased the A/C adaptor for my Verbatim 160GB ext FireLiteHD. The adaptor was shipped promptly and arrived in good order; however, the power supply jack did not fit the reciever pin in the HD unit...I tried...the HD pin is just too large. We could go lots of places with this one, but hey its just an external "Hard Drive". rhj
