5 comments about Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Compact Speakers for iPod (Black).
- Logitech has a long running reputation for quality made innovative products and the Pure-Fi Anywhere is no different. I haven't compared it side by side to the MM50, which it replaces. I have both and I can tell you from listening to them independently the Pure-Fi Anywhere has greater clarity at high volume levels and better bass response.
The quality and clarity of the sound is enough to warrant the purchase. The portability, carrying case and built-in rechargeable battery are bonuses. The case for the Pure-Fi Anywhere has enough room for the unit as well as the adapter, which the MM50 didn't, and two slots as well. One for an iPod and the other for the remote.
Quality of sound, great portability, a remote control and a rechargeable battery were the reasons I chose this over similar offerings from other manufacturers. 10-hour battery life is claimed; however, in my experience expect less than half of that if it is used at constant higher volume levels.
- Volume could be stronger although sound quality does not distort all the way up to max volume. Sound expand button makes many songs echo. Sounds like they are being played in a tunnel. Remote works well with iPhone's menu. Remote range is over 25 ft. Case everything including power cord and remote. Great deal for 70 bucks.
- I have an iPod touch and it plays fine though this unit EXCEPT that the remote does not function properly: up and down scrolling always jumps two items. I returned it and bought the current model, the Pure-Fi Anywhere ll which does work perfectly and comes with the appropriate sized insert for the iPod touch (and iPhone)- at least the first generation ones. This unit, the Pure-Fi Anywhere, did not. Both units were sonically acceptable for their size and purpose.
- Great product although I'm still trying to figure out how it charges the Ipod. Still learning love it!
- Beautiful sound. Easy to use. Perfect size.
Works best with the remote. Mine was broken.
I returned the whole unit to Amazon, but was told that they did not have a new unit to replace it with.
I went somewhere else for speakers.

5 comments about Super G 802.11BG Wireless Pci 64 Bit Xp Compliant Turbo Mode.
- Replaced a USB 802.11G adapter that would need to be reinserted everytime the PC game up, other than that was a solid connection even it had 3/5 bars.
This one gets max/excellent connection but fails in gaming. It frequently causes lag spikes every 30-90 seconds, which the USB adapter did not.
Tried many channels and options so it's definately the card.
- This card was easy to set up and worked better than the Netgear WRN111 usb device that I had before. The reception is great as if I have a wired connection. For the price this card is great. The only inconvenience is the antenna that has a little wire which is annoying anytime you need to do anything in the back of your computer, but I knew that when I bought it.
- I originally purchased the WMP300N by Linksys for just under $100. I was feed up with dropped connections and poor performance so I decided to try another wireless devise. This product was a fraction of the price and preformed considerably better. This a great value.
- Does what it is supposed to do. This card connects to the internet, is easy to use, and i like antena feature. Picks up signal very well.
- A few points I'd like to share:
1. Excellent reception - I'm using Linksys router with DD-WRT firmware and this card picks up consistant 5-bar signal. I've previously had Buffalo Airstation WLI2PCIG54S in the same machine and it only had around 2-bar of signal strength (same location.)
2. Antena cable is about long enough to put it on top of a midsize tower.
3. I run RaLink (for chipset RT61) on XP machine instead of the MSI supplied driver, also configured thru Window wireless option. So far, it's been stable, no drop signal.
For price/performance ratio, I think this is a great choice.

5 comments about Peerless Articulating LCD Wall Arm for 22 inch to 40 inch LCD Screens - Black (SA740P).
- I bought this wall mount for my 32" Sharp Aquos LCD tv. I figured the 100 dollar price was good for a mount that would allow the tv to swing out, tilt, and rotate. Unfortunately, once I got it I realized that neither the mount nor the adapter bracket included would fit my tv. That meant I needed to buy a separate adapter plate, which was another $100.00. Being unwilling to spend the money, I came up with my own solution (drilled holes in two flat metal bars from local home improvement store, total cost of $8.00) and made it work. The rest of the installation was quite easy (with two people), and the mount is solid and works as advertised. I recommend visiting the website for Peerless to see if the mount will work with your tv, or if you need an adapter plate.
- This is an excellent wall mount. I have a 32 Inch Flat Panel that is holding up just fine. It is very easy to install (Took about 15 minutes, just make sure you have a good drill) and looks great. It is easy to use to move the TV around, the range of motion is quite satifisfying.
- I LOVE this wall mount! It works perfectly in the middle of two large rooms so I can turn it to have great coverage anywhere. I've got a 40" Samsung and it's fine.
- It did what it was purported to do and is serving well. Thank you
- A rare product in this day and age; well made, easy to assemble and works as advertised.

5 comments about JVC HANC250 Noise Cancelling Headphones.
- This was my first purchase of noise canceling headphones and I only had the Bose I listened to on an iPhone in the Apple store to use as comparison. I am very happy with the JVC HANC250. I have used them in several different environments, with and without sound, and find the noise reduction excellent. With a little soft music I am soon in a world of my own. Watching a video at home is superb- in fact I can not hear my phone ring! Prospective buyers should be aware that noise canceling is not noise eliminating. No brands will do that. The sound quality of these is very good. Comfort is good. Price for value is unmatched.
- The headphones are great for overseas travel. They block out all the noise so you can sleep or just enjoy music or a movie.
- This is a fantastic pair of headphones. The noise cancelling works really well, almost all background noise is cut out, really good on the subway or on a train. Haven't tried it on a plane yet but I'm sure it works well there as well. Good quality, no point wasting money on the bose headphones when you can get these for a third of the price.
- I used these headphones on a flight to Korea recently and found them to be quite good at masking the noise produced by the 747, while listening to movies and music.
- i just got these in the mail today. they work great and the noise cancelling is great. they are on the ear, not AROUND ear. keep that in mind. they are pretty small and not very bulky. the case and the extra adapters for the airplane are a great added bonus. they do cover my ears, but they dont fit around them, but no worries. overall, for the price, these are great. i first purchased the Panasonic RP-HC500 Noise-Canceling Headphones that are the around the ear headphones, but they leaked wayy too much sound. these dont leak much sound. that is a major plus when on a flight.

5 comments about Monster HDMI 1000HD Ultra-High Speed HDMI Cable (1 meter).
- People complain a lot about monster cables being over-priced, not worth it, etc etc. They also say that when it comes to hdmi cables that if the signal transfers that it is just 1's and 0's and that if it transfers at all there's no difference and it either works, or doesn't work. If you didn't notice these are speed rated cables and if you really want to test the difference run something extreme on them. Your crappy tv service sending out 720p or lower, and your gaming system isn't really going to feed the kind of bandwidth that this cable can handle. The average consumer doesn't have their hands on high end source material so I can understand that. I also admit these cables can be a bit pricey, and are pushed on consumers, but they are well worth it in the long run. They are more durable, future-proof, and well made then any other cable I've had my hands on. I just had Monster speaker cables replaced because a tip broke, not only did they replace the broken cable, they replaced every speaker cable I had of that kind. They also upgraded all of them by about 40 dollars each per cable to newer and better cables. If you ask me that's service. I don't see why people would want to spend all this money on their equipment and then use some rundown no-name cables between them. The point is this is a great cable. Make sure when it comes to Monster cables to shop around, especially on amazon. They do bloat the price a lot in stores.
- Just go to monoprice and get a good quality hdmi cable for a fraction of the price. Monster had a slight edge back in the analog days...now in the digital day all they have is a lot of peeps money...
- I was hesitent about spending the extra money for this cable. For the extra money why worry if the cable will be good enough. this is one of the best. Glad i went with the Monster.
- I bought this as part of a wiring scheme for FiOS to go with my Samsung 52" HDTV (WOW, BTW!). I wanted to run two cables from where my FiOS box and Blu-Ray are expected to go, out the wall and back in behind the TV. This was great cable for running. I felt no apprehension when I had to give it a tug to get just a lttle more through to reach the HDTV connector. Neither FiOS nor the Blu-ray have arrived yet, but - lacking a DVR - we've been able to download shows on my laptop and pipe them via these cables to the HDTV. Great! I live near an airport and had to run the cable near the electrical wiring. The supreme insulaton on these cables seems to keep out any and all interference. BTW: I'm pulling in HDTV broadcast (air) channels with rabbit ears!
- Needed a longer cable from my projector to the AV unit. After reading tons of reviews and watching a bunch of video on the Monster site I can't say for sure that I needed to spent this much on a cable. I do believe there is some truth in what they show regarding how digital data is moved in a cable. In the end I was able to install my new projector and the quality of the picutre from Blu-Ray in HD is great. If I was only going a couple of feet from a unit to a TV then I would consider a cheaper cable, but for 35ft I didn't want to take a chance on having problems. The price on Amazon was the best around, so in the end it cost me less than the shorter Monster cable I brought a few years back that was not as good of quality.

5 comments about Griffin 9781-TRP30BK iTrip FM Transmitter with Dock Connector for iPod (Black).
- I had this trasmitter for 2 years. It outperformed my firends and families transmitters by being compact, no cords unless you want to charge it. The transmitting wire is on the outside which gives it a stronger signal even though it runs off the Ipods power. The only drawback is that....it runs off the Ipods power and drains it after a good day of driving, unless you plug it in to a mini USB port cigarette lighter power thingy which you can grab at radio shack. I had to buy another one because I pulled the wire out of it not realizing it was the transmitter cable......not my brightest moment. But just press play and within 4-5 feet of my radio I had crystal clear music with NO STATIC. I could pass it around my car without interruption and people could play what they liked. Excellent product, dont tear the transmitting wire out!
- I like the griffen ITRIP for all the obvious reasons, it is wireless which makes it easy to grab your ipod when jumping in someone elses car, or even at work when the radio SUCKS you can just use that....etc.
it DOES drain the battery though, only downside to it, but that is expected of this type of device. I do know that there are ITRIPS that come with the adaptor cord, mine didnt. so you may want to email the seller to find that out ~ although, i didnt expect mine to anyway.
all in all, i think it is a decent buy!
- The iTrip is a great device for listening to iPods in the car. It is nice and clear when it broadcasts on a blank station.
It works on all cars, old radios, and anything with FM.
It uses the iPod battery, so that's one less thing to worry about. It also only turns on when the iPod plays music. It is good energy saver.
Some people may have trouble finding stations. This website help with that. It finds the best radio station and it works!
http://www.radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/vacant
It has decent range but keep in mind that some cars have their antennas at the back of the car, so if someone is not in the backseat it may be a problem. If the antenna is at the back and the iPod is at the front, the audio quality won't be too good.
Don't forget the iPod when you leave the car!
Other than that, it works like it should.
- My brother had one of these, and it didn't work so well in his car. But mine works almost flawlessly in my van. I'm guessing that it has a lot to do with the quality and reception sensitivity of your car radio, as well as where you are able to position this transmitter. My ipod sits in a bracket mounted to an AC vent, and the transmitter hangs right in front of the car radio. If it's moved more than a foot or so away from the radio, it starts breaking up. But right there where it sits while I'm driving, the reception is amazing; not a single crackle of static; it's as if it were plugged straight into the sound system. Amazing. I'm very happy with this device.
- When this device works, your iPod sounds almost as good as a radio station coming through your stereo head in your car. An iTrip is great, if you are driving in one city where you know where the 'dead air' is and can pretty much leave your iTrip tuned to one or more channels.
I'd also suggest you find the location in the car where the iPod works well and leave the iPod there. Moving the iPod around causes annoying static and feedback.
If you're going on the road, you're going to spend a lot of time going through the channels to find dead channels to play your iPod through. Plus, high power lines and truckers interfere with your transmission. On a 200-mile trip, we had to change the channel for the iPod to play more than 5 times and there were some spots where the static was so bad, we couldn't get reception at all.

5 comments about Cables To Go - 43098 - 25ft HD15 M/M UXGA Monitor Cable with 3.5mm Audio (Black).
- Very stable and useful cable, and connector.
I used it to connect my computer to the TV.
This cable is perfect at what it does;
Also, it is a bargain. And it works well!
- the precise length of the audio cable (cable only, excluding the audio jack and the connector; 2 inches) is 12 inches.
The product is very good. One negative thing is that the cable is a bit heavier than I thought.
- After reading the previous useful reviews, I was concerned about the length of the audio cable - if it would be long enough to reach both the VGA and audio ports on my laptop, which are on opposite L/R sides. Well I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived - unlike the photo, it was long enough. I measured the audio cable at 23" long, not including the VGA and audio jack housings.
I've used the cable several times with no problems between my laptop and my 1080 flat screen TV and am pleased with this purchase.
- Bought this cable to connect a laptop to my new Sony Bravia 46" HDTV. Works great. Received quickly and in great shape.
- I purchased a new LCD, large screen TV recently. I found in the instructions that it was possible to connect my Laptop computer to the 15 pin TV connection. I checked locally at the electronic stores and found that the longest 15 pin wire was only 6' and also expensive. I checked Amazon and found this 25' wire "including" built-in connection for sound, was less that the 6'. I placed the computer across the room and out of the way and made the easy connection. Works great to watch downloaded items and pictures from my computer on a large screen. If you have the 15 pin connections on the TV and also laptop. I would recommend the connection. Very satisfied!!!

4 comments about Livescribe Single Subject Spiral Notebook, 4-Pack, Nos. 1-4.
- The Livescribe Pulse Smartpen is one component of an astonishing system. To take full advantage of its capabilities you need to use special dot paper. One spiral notebook comes with your smartpen. It doesn't take much imagination to realize that sooner or later the notebook will be completely full. The real value of the system depends not just on the price of the pen and starter components but on the affordability of necessary components. For instance printers can sell cheaply because ink is expensive.
These notebooks are reasonably priced, making it clear that Livescribe is not marketing its pen on a model similar to printers. They represent good value which makes the entire system more valuable.
- I read somewhere that LiveScribe will permit users to print their own dot paper in the near future. I called the company (1-877-727-4239) a few days ago, and a female representative told me that a software update will be available in November 2008 to allow this capability. This is very good news. I hope LiveScribe will not slip on that schedule.
- these notebooks are numbered for a reason. Be careful because you cannot use the same number notebook at the same time.
- Perfect for meetings, journalism, scientific field work. If you haven't tried these products, you don't know what you're missing.

- There's not much to report about cables except they worked, I received them pretty fast and they were reasonable.
- Excellent quality for the price. I've seen many flimsy cables priced at four to five times what these cost. I've stepped on the connectors, bent them at odd angles and left them in cars on 90+ degree days and they still work great.
- Instead of blowing $35 at Staples, I got these much cheaper. Worked great with my video camera.
- This USB to Mini-USB cable does what it is supposed to do, and when I purchased it, it was able to ship with Super Saver Shipping on a larger order, making it a really great deal for the price.
I bought this for charging a Playstation 3 Dualshock controller, and it works great.
- my garmin gps 200 nuvi didn't come with a mini usb so when I wanted to check for map updates online I couldn't hook it up. I ordered these hoping they would fit and they did. So, the good news? it worked perfectly with my gps. The bad news? I wasn't eligible for a free map update on my garmin :(

5 comments about Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista.
- Think twice about buying this. I just bought the cable from the store, and now that I've read about it I'm going to return it unopened.
The reason I rate it as two stars is because you can no longer transfer applications. You could do it before, using something called the "Easy Transfer Companion" that came out sometime around last year. This was a feature you could download from Microsoft that allowed you to transfer programs, not just files.
At some point within the past year or so, Microsoft discontinued the "easy transfer companion." Do a search...you won't find it on the Microsoft webpage anymore. The official reason is that it is incompatible with Service Pack 1 for Vista. Who knows what the real reason is; there are probably several.
This is a bad deal for Belkin and a bunch of customers out there who will waste time buying this and searching for that Easy Transfer Companion. And from reading the other reviews, I am not going to waste my time with all the quirks of transferring even just regular files!
- I bought a new laptop and was trying to move a lot of things from my old computer. Finally, I bought the Easy Transfer cable and moved every thing in a couple of hours. It would have been better to start out with the Easy Transfer cable, as it complicates the process when some things are already moved...Anyways, the cable worked fine for moving things from my old XP computer to a new Vista computer. You need to take time in carefully selecting what you want move and be patient to be sure the process is fully completed. The speed of the transfer itself was very fast.
I did not have any of the problems mentioned in some of the reviews. My only "problem" was that I ended up moving a few things I had not intended to move. I would recommend the cable to anyone who needs to move a lot of material.
- This product was supposed to make it very easy to transfer files to a new Vista computer from one running XP. It failed totally--it started gathering information and then froze. Several attempts with the same result. Resorted to a FLASH drive and moved on. Total waste of money.
- The cable works fine - the software that comes with it (which is required) does not. It took me five calls to customer support before I could get to level 3, They fixed my problem in 15 minutes. But it took me a week to get to them!
Once they set up my system properly, the cable worked perfectly and very quickly.
- Belkin Easy Transfer Cable for Windows Vista
I cannot say much as my usb slot in my old computer failed, but whenever it reposnded the cable worked well
there are however other cables(much cheaper) from Belkin to aid in transferring files from old XP computer to new Vista or xp or other compatable OS
