  1. BOSE offers replacement buds for free on their website. don't pay for them here when you can get a complimentary pack that includes 1 small, 1 medium, 1 large replacement. i almost made the mistake of buying them until i saw a review here that directed me to the appropriate place. these headphones are more of a hassle than i'm willing to admit to because i spent so much money on them. GL!

  1. i use macs and pcs, and this cable doesnt read on a mac for some reason. the ipod doesnt show up in itunes at all.

  2. This is an excellent cable for my Nano. It's an extra cable for me since I have multiple laptops. No problems at all with it or with the shipping. Recommended.

  3. Wife needed an extra charging/sync cable for her Nano at work. Found this one and gave it a try due to cheap price. Product arrived in a few days, and works perfect. Very nice. Recommended.

  4. Does what it's supposed to. A little hard to get into the iPod, but when you get it in it works great.

  1. I have the ipod classic and it did not work. Amazon please state that in the description.

  2. Great solution, high quality video. But it will leave you thinking on an Apple tv as your next step...

  3. Waste of 15 dollars... Video didnt come through at all. And yes i check all my Ipod settings and trouble shooted all the way through to find out it was the cable... Just pony up the 50 bucks and get the one apple makes... works perfectly and has a built in charger to keep the ipod going.

  4. This is a nice cable put together, unfortunately the Monster cable does not announce that this cable does not work with the new foramtted ipods by apple. Apparently Apple changed the video output on these devices that only is supported by the cable through Apple. You will get audio perfeclty but no matter how smart you are in setting up electronic devices, no video will ever show up. So sad that we get ripped off by these companies and they do not even help you over the phone and no customer service to assist you. Shame on them for doing business in this great country of ours. WE need better guidelines from their manufacturers announcing the line of their products,what it will work with, how it works and what to do if it does not work. No matter what the advertisment says DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE.

  5. Monster cable has a very good reputation & previous products I have used were excellent. However, this cord will NOT work with my 3 month old Nano 3G. I followed all instructions on the Ipod & cord to a tee & could never get the cord to work. I finally returned it to AMAZON.com (with very little hassle & excellent service!)& ended up buying the APPLE version (twice the cost, of course)& it worked like a charm. I believe APPLE'S proprietary stance is the main reason the MONSTER cable would not work. Unfortunate, because the monster utilizes a superior S-Video connection, whereas the APPLE is only either rca connectors or component.

  1. It works flawlessly and appear solid, of good quality. Beware of cheaper priced items from marketplace sellers. They are not the same thing! I threw one away, it looked so cheap, I was afraid to use it, and ordered this one instead.

2 comments about INTERACT ACCESSORIES S-Video/AV Cable Gamecube.
  1. Sure, we all know that the Wii is the rage from Nintendo these days. However, they're hard to get ahold of, aren't they? At any rate, I got this cable for my son and the quality difference between regular composite and S-video (via this cable) is discernable though not huge. At any rate, a pretty decent value for the money. S-video helps take away Chroma-crawl, so it may be worth it for many people.

  2. My dog at my son's gamecube a-v cord- and I had much difficulty finding another one. I should have known to go right on amazon- because there they are. I'm so glad I could find this so he can continue his games. came quickly

5 comments about Shure Level Attenuator Listening Level Controller.
  1. Even at the lowest volume level, my Shure E4C earphones are too loud for me when I am listening to music in quiet environments. This level attenuator does an excellent job of decreasing the volume. No static is heard when adjusting the volume. Also, the volume between the two earphones remains balanced at even the lowest levels.

    The instructions state that this is intended for use on airplanes only but I have not had any problems using this with my iPod nano.

  2. My husband and I were on a cross-country flight, with different brands of headphones, and we each had our own volume control. How clever!

  3. I needed a little attenuator (volume control) so I didn't have to dig my mp3 player out of my pocket every time to boost or lower the volume. The first one I bought from Amazon was dead on arrival but they have a great return policy and even sent out a new one immediately while I sent the bad one back. The second one works fine and it does what it's supposed to do. I don't find any diminished quality of the music so I'm very happy with the purchase. I like the short cord too.

    Worth the $10.

  4. Even though the instructions say that the level attenuator is only for airline use, I use it with low-resistance headphones on my Mac and Nintendo DS. It works fine there; it lets me set the volume in the middle instead of on the very lowest notch possible.

    I am not sure how durable the attenuator is; given my past experience with headphone volume controllers that look nearly the same, I would guess that you shouldn't be too hard on it. If you look at reviews of attenuators online, you may see that they can cause a loss of sound quality. I haven't noticed anything like that, but I am not a stereo aficionado, and I have kept the volume control in the middle, away from the highest reduction of volume.

  5. it's a standard volume controller that's compatible with any headphone that uses the mini type jack for mp3 players;

    it's light and made of plastic...doesn't feel cheap though;

    works as advertised;

5 comments about Terk Hdr-I High-Definition Indoor Radio Antenna.
  1. I enjoy my Boston Acoustics HD Radio. I ordered this product hoping it would improve reception over the separate AM and FM antennas which came with the radio. No such luck. Reception was generally the same or slightly worse on some channels. So if you have a Boston Acoustics radio, maybe consider an outside antenna rather than this indoor unit.

  2. I thought this unit would improve my reception, but their was absolutly no difference from the wire antenna which came with my Sangean HD radio.
    I live in the NYC area where signal strength is good. Would have returned it for a refund but I was to lazy.

  3. This unit, at its max. gain setting, pulls in ZERO additional HD channels. Existing ones are not improved either. It's totally useless. To make things worse, it requires AC power, but for what? To lit the white LED light in front for show? Seriously, it draws electricity for WHAT purpose if it doesn't improve reception ONE SINGLE BIT? Avoid at all cost.

  4. My HD radio is a Sony XDR-S3HD. So this comparison is only true for this radio and my location (just north of Washington DC). I tried the accompanying wire and dipole antennas first, and then tried this Terk HDRI Antenna and a Philips Magnavox MANT-110 Indoor Passive Antenna. The Terk box says it is specifically for HD radio. The Philips box says it is for VHF/UHF/FM/HDTV.

    The dipole worked best overall of the two included with the Sony but I experienced a number of drops when there was movement, either by myself or even my cats, on the far side of the antenna relative to the general direction of the station's tower that I was tuned into. The Terk (with the gain set to the maximum) and the Philips both worked better in this regard resulting in practically no drops in the same scenarios.

    The Terk costs 36.14 on sale; the Philips costs 9.99. So the Philips wins on price. Here's the shocking thing. When I tried to tune into WAMU-HD3 or WTOP-HD3 or WCPS-HD3, the Terk had trouble picking up the signal unless I was positioned just right in the room (for example, if I was 5 feet from the antenna but not 3 feet, or if my TV was on, or...). The Philips has no problem picking up these stations regardless! This makes the Terk very much a disappointment. The Terk did not pick up any additional HD channel 2 stations compared with the Philips (the ones I can't pick up currently on a regular basis are WWWT, WPGC, WBIG and WPRS). So if you're having problems with the wire or dipole antenna, then my suggestion is to pick up the Philips or some other cheap indoor FM antenna and forgo spending money on this overpriced Terk.

    Magnavox MANT-110 Indoor Passive Antenna

  5. I bought this to use with my Radio Shack HD Radio unit because I have reception issues where I live. Unfortunately it worked no better for me than the simple antenna supplied with the radio. Believe it or not I had much better luck with an old-fashioned "rabbit ears" TV antenna which was one-third the price. Don't know if it would work in a better location but it didn't help me.

5 comments about Apple M8794G/B World Travel Adapter Kit.
  1. excelent if you travel around the world and it fits the usb adabter and ac cord for ipod and apple notebooks. of course you must buy the separate usb adapter for ipod, if you didnt know this then you obviously didnt read what was included in this package or the fact that apple sells adapter separate from ipod. sorry i just dont see how anyone could think it came with the adapter. anyways i travel all over the world and take my ipod with me, i dont like having to use my computer to charge the ipod and so i bring my ac charger and having the world adapters is perfect, i can just pop it into place and go. amazon had this for $39.99 but the price went up (saying it now qualifies for 'free' shipping which isnt true, youre paying for it in the price) apple store online has it for $39 so id recomend going there

    if you are concerned about the price think about it this way, so you first must buy the usb/ac adapter which is 30ish i believe, first off thats a good investment, especially if you take your ipod on trips around the states, this way you dont have to lug a computer with you, instead you can just use an outlet. so youve got the adapter, now if you are a world traveller i suggest this investment, it is much cheaper than buying individual adapters in every country you travel to, youd probably spend at least $12 or so, for one, and they are usually are more bulky than the apple ones which are built to fit perfectly, anyways so you would spend a lot rather than buying this bundle. plus it saves time trying to search the adapter racks (if you can find them) in other countries trying to find one that supports a US adapter etc.

    ive used these in europe (UK, Italy, Greece, Ireland etc), and Australia, New Zealand and Fiji

  2. Why does everyone rave about this? One of the reviews even says, "If you need this then get it." Yeah, if you're travelling you need this, but more importantly why can't Apple just sell the different adapaters individually? Apple must assume that a lot of people have more than one of their products - perhaps a macbook and an ipod, so wouldn't it make more sense to sell the adapters individually, that way one could buy for example two European adapaters, one for ipod and one for macbook? Another apple rip-off if you ask me.

  3. It's $39.00 on the apple website, there is free shipping as well, so why buy it on amazon? I came here looking for a deal and was disappointed.

  4. When travelling I seek to minimise the weight and number of items I bring. Technology is one good place where gains on this front can be made. This product bundle is a complete joke. Why so many pieces? Why bring all of that excess stuff? If the answer is "just take the ones you will need for a given trip" then why not just buy some cheapo country/ region specific solution? If you are serious about travel with your electronics (not just Apple) check out this: Kensington 33117 International All-in-One Travel Plug Adapter. It has covered me in Asia, Australia, and Europe and there is only one piece to deal with.

  5. I traveled to London for several weeks, and was concerned about charging my laptop from all the mixed reviews I read online. The adapter worked great, and I didn't need a power converter. Granted, it is more expensive than other adapters, but for me I loved the ease of not having to worry if anything would happen to my computer.

  1. Great communication from the vendor. The product works well and looks good. Very sleek and not bulky like other arm bands.

  2. This Tuff Luv Silicone skin cover is awesome! I'd been searching for one that was sleek yet durable and made specifically for my Creative Zen. I'm very satisfied with it's performance. Easy to insert, easy to remove. The buttons and jacks are still accessible with the cover on. Unfortunately I've dropped mine in the dirt a few times but I just took the cover off, rinsed under water and it was as good as new. I definitely recommend this product and will be buying another for myself as a backup just in case I either lose mine or they stop making them.

  3. durable cover allows for access while using. converted it to a wristband to use during weight training
