5 comments about Griffin Tunebuds (white) / Earphones.
- Griffin's tunebuds are excellent in place of Apple's. Apple's would always fall out of my ears whenever I would go jogging or work on the elliptical. Griffin's, on the other hand, have not fallen out once! They come in several sizes (three, I think), and I'm currently using the smallest size which fits my small ears perfectly. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for an alternative earbud.
- The sound quality from these earbuds is truly amazing. They do a good job of blocking external noises.
- Good product, fits the ears very well, the sound is a bit tinny, but if you have an EQ or bass adjustment, you will be fine.
- One channel stopped working a month after I bought them. It wasn't the connector because jiggling the connector had no effect. I treat my earphones well and have never had this problem before.
- Really good for listening audio books, unfortunately nothing else. Bought me 2 pairs for a trip. Both are absolutely the same in quality. 2 stars just for the price and a cute case they comes with ;)

3 comments about Philips Executive 30-Watt Micro Speaker System with iPod Dock (White/Silver).
- I don't own this product yet, but had the opportunity to test it thoroughly in the store yesterday. I decided that it is the one I want because it has all the features that I need:
-portable (all in one unit)+ (battery powered)
-great sound (30W RMS)+ bass boost + 4-5 eq presets
-many audio sources: USB, Aux in, CD/MP3, Tuner, Ipod
The ONLY drawback I found was that the FM antenna is not part of the unit, you need to plug an FM aerial antenna. This unit is meant to stand in an office or house, so the "FM on the go" seems not to be an option. However, considering all the other features, it makes a great portable Hi-Fi multisource piece of equipment.
- Better than average sound for the money. Great options included ipod, radio,cd, and aux. Nice volume for main source in a small room, or for background music in a larger room. Good option for the pricey Bose system plus more features.
- I'm looking to down-size and simplify my life - including getting rid the the space-hogging component stereo system - this here is a very nice little all-in-one box as replacement - biggest drawback for me is the weak dim display panel - can only be read close up (by my eyes anyway).

5 comments about Philips MANT950 Indoor/Outdoor Amplified UHF/VHF/HDTV Antenna.
- I installed according to directions. I have 21 local stations and 9 are digital already. When I connected this directly to the TV, it kind of worked. I got a couple of channels. When I connected it to the DTV box, I received even fewer stations than with the little internal antenna. A big total of 3, as opposed to 5 with the little internal antenna that came with the TV. I do live in a wooded area but I still think I should have been able to pick up more stations with this than without it. (And yes, I went online to properly orient the antenna.) I am glad it worked for others but it was a disaster for me and went back the same day.
- I tried 6 different indoor antennas for digitial HD reception. A Phillips rabbit ear model worked pretty well out of all of them but I had to constantly adjust the ears for each channel to obtain optimal reception. I finally decided to get an exterior antenna but the homeowners association prohibits them mounted on the roof. All the satellite dishes are mounted on a post in the ground so I bought a post, mounted the antenna, pointed it, and voila! I now have 17 digital channels when I previously had only 5! I even picked up a couple analog channels from over 75 miles away. It is supposed to be multidirectional but aiming it helps. I used a nifty feature on the www.antennaweb.org website to determine the best direction. The antenna is mounted only five feet above the ground and dosen't look half bad although I have had a couple curious comments. The reception is better than a friends digital cable on the very same TV. Perhaps the other antennas would have worked good outside as well, but the rabbit ears would have continued to be a pain. From the research I have done, exterior mounting is the best way to go. BONUS! For kicks I hooked up my FM radio receiver to the same antenna and now I get more quality stereo stations than I need. Then I decided to add another spliter and hooked up a basement TV that I had relegated to DVD use only due to poor reception. The antenna powers all three devices with no noticable reduction in picture quality on the big screen. For less than $60 this is a must buy for a low profile outdoor antenna. Three friends have purchased it on my advice and have thanked me profusely for the suggestion.
- I really enjoy this antenna, it is much less expensive than the super strong models, but works quite well. I am able to use it for reception on 2 tv's and I get recption for nbc, abc, cbs, fox, cw, pbs, rtn, and ion really well.
- After reading the reviewings on Amazon, I decided to buy this to get some HDTV channels. I checked antennaweb to determine the location of the transmission towers and installed the antenna outdoor toward my favorite channels. Those channels are only 26-32 miles from my location so I was expecting to get a good reception...but was I wrong! Before installing this antenna, I used an indoor RCA HDTV antenna I got from Walmart. I was getting 11 HDTV channels with the RCA antenna. After installing this, I got 1 HD channel and 1 other channel off and on and nothing else. I tried moving the antenna in all directions and got nothing...nada. So, that antenna is either defective or simply useless. I ended up returning it to Amazon and continue using the RCA antenna. Don't buy this if you want to get good signals!
- I bought this antenna, believing my troubles were over, based on the majority of the reviews. Boy was I in for a suprise! It brings in ONE station just a little better than before, another station, the sound is better. Overall, I get 8 stations, the same as with my broken rabbit ears. Plus the fact that you must have the antenna lined up perfectly for any clarity.

4 comments about Case Logic UP-2 Universal Pockets Medium (Lime).
- I bought this product to use for the Flip Mino videocam. Size-wise, it is a perfect fit. The pouch is well-made, very soft inside with decent padding (it's not going to help you if you throw it at a brick wall but it should help prevent damage from accidentally dropping it) and a drawstring that works well. It looks exactly like it does in the picture, and even the color is rendered accurately. The drawstring has a little ball on it that acts as a locking mechanism to prevent the bag from opening.
If you want something lighter than a standard case or bag, this fits the bill nicely and the price is right, too.
- great cute holder, can carry your phone, ipod, blackberry, video camera.
it's soft and can be attached to your purse or your belt. great little carrier
- The "Case Logic UP-2" is a very well made soft pouch/case that perfectly fits my Flip Video Ultra Series Camcorder, 60-Minutes (White). This case has some great features:
* A silky smooth inside so it will not scratch my lens
* "Locking" draw string wrist strap to keep your camera snug and protected
* Metal ring clip (removable) to attach to a belt loop or shoulder strap
* Very low price for such a well made case
This is well padded enough to protect my camera, but still fits in my pants pocket without being too bulky.
Highly recommended!
- I love the color and really like the bag. It isn't exactly crush proof, though. That's the only bad part. I do love being able to clip it onto my purse. I'd buy it again... especially since it was free.

5 comments about Philips SHN2500/37 Noise-Canceling Earbuds.
- I don't have enough noise canceling experience, but for me the rubber earbuds "cancel" more noise than the actual heavy device.
The sound is really good. I'll give it a try on my next flight. But on normal noise background, I'm not really satisfied.
Don't get confused by the picture, the rounded piece on the right is out of proportion, since it's around 2 inches tall.
- I realize you get what you paid for but I don't detect any noise cancelling in these. Perhaps I got a lemon. I give it 2 stars just because they work with regards to music but I bought them for the noise cancelling.
- Wow, I am amazed at the number of poor reviews on the Philips SHN2500 noise cancelling earbuds. I am not sure what people are expecting for the price, but I for one, was very happy at the quality of the product.
I (unfortuantely) did not buy my earbuds on Amazon so I paid more than the price that is listed on Amazon, but I still find the earbuds to be a nice value. The earbuds have good sound and EFFECTIVELY block out some of the noise aound you. For example - I was in the last row of an Embraer 145 (A small jet which has the engines mounted near the last row of the plane), and I heard virtually no engine noise. I was able to listen to my music and podcast with little distraction. I have used tradition Ipod earbuds on similar planes only to find that my Ipod did not have enough "volume" to overcome the engine noise. This clearly was not the case using my Philips SHN2500 earbuds. What more could I want at this price?
One complaint - after about 2 hours the earbuds were a little uncomfortable in my ears.
Are their better products on the market? Sure look at these too
Sony Mdrnc22/Blk Noise Canceling Headphone (Black) $100
Bose® QuietComfort® 2 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones $299
Panasonic RP-HC500 Noise-Canceling Headphones $91
Sennheiser PXC 300 Noise Cancelling Headphones $150
Sennheiser PXC 350 Active Noise Cancellation Headphone (Black) $250
I think you get the picture - if you are looking for a premium product they are out there, but you will have to pay a considerable amount of $$ for the added sound quality.
5 Stars as an overall value
- In recent years trans-Atlantic flights annoyed me with noise. First it was oppressive on the flight, then I took a while to hear normally. So I decided to try noise cancelling earphones. Being a musician phase cancelling is easy to appreciate. Then I saw the ones being advertised were $300. You can buy a decent large diaphram mic and studio headphones for less than that! I started looking for something for less. I thought it was interesting these had similar specs to $100 earphhones. I had just spent too much on toys and decided to try them.
For those people who say noise cancelling doesn't work with these I have to wonder. I switched them on when we were 10 minutes off the ground and after a bit switched them off. I wasn't sure I was getting much benefit. However after my first 4 and 6 hour flights when the pilot said to switch off electronic gear I had a shocking realization. While it didn't eliminate flight noise it reduced it to where I had mentally tuned it out. As soon as I switched off the noise reduction I got an immediate unpleasant roar of engines. It seems to get better the longer you wear them and they are very comfortable. I can't compare these to the big dogs but they are more than satisfactory and you don't look like you thought you were in the booth getting ready to lay down a vocal track.
People who got no noise reduction didn't understand the intended use or ran the battery down or something. I'm not sure how long a battery lasts but I got 22 hours in four flights. It also has an adapter for older airplane audio plugs. I haven't tried it for other things, but I think it would be good for trains too. At this price you would have to be crazy not to get these if you are travelling.
- These headphones deliver surprisingly good sound for the price, and the noise cancelling works well. (There's the slight hiss when the noise cancelling is active, but this occurs with all noise cancelling headphones to one degree or another.) Long battery life, too.
But the cables are way too short. At 6'+, I can't walk with these because the awkward electronics/battery enclosure doesn't quite reach my pockets. And, inexplicably, the weight of the thin earbud cables is enough to drag the earbuds down against your ears, probably aggravated by the weight of the electronics enclosure. An irritating sensation; feels like they're about to fall out.
If you plan to sit and listen, or if you're very short, these will work great. Otherwise, the absence of a longer cable and a little clip to keep the cables in place on your shirt make these otherwise good headphones pretty useless.

5 comments about Alpine KCE-422i iPod Connection Cable.
- Easy to use, easy to install. Great product. I definatelly recommend it to everyone who apreciates sound quality and easyness when operating an iPod on the car.
- I had used an FM transmitter with my IPOD for some time. It was not very satisfactory. The cable connection is great. Sound is greatly improved and control of the IPOD is much improved.
- When it actually connects it works great, but half the time it just says "searching", and wont play. Other times it just freezes up completly.
- This cable just works. It's a nice length which is useful for weaving around the dash and car panels. One end is a a typical iPod connection with locking tabs while the other looks to be a PS/2 connection. Definitely the best way to attach an iPod to the head unit...
- Been using this for about a year, and it works fine w/ my CDA 9857. It does work with the original iPhone, but I writing to warn you...
This does *not* work with an iPhone 3g. Can't charge the iPhone, can't control the iPhone.

5 comments about DVD Refill Pages, Capacity 20.
- After much research I settled on the Case Logic DVD Wallet (140 Capacity) and refill pages to add to the capacity. The price was way less expensive then any others on the market and I am thrilled with the quality and ease of use (it even stands up to my 2 year old's flipping through)...I highly recommend this line for anyone looking to organize and/or save space with their DVD collection.
- I agree that this is the best DVD refill page I have seen available. They fit two different types of bindings; the band-type and also the standard 3-ring. However, I was fooled into thinking there were 10 refill pages in the package. Would that be too much to ask at this price? Apparently so because there are only 5 pages in this package. That makes room for 10 title notes and 20 discs. I still can't figure out why the DVD storge cases cost more than the CD cases do. Binders are still the best way to go if you have a ton of DVDs, for sure, if not the most economical. -1 star for price.
- It is impossible to find these pages anywhere other than Amazon and they are a lifesaver as far as organization goes. Some DVD pages aren't big enough to hold everything properly but these are the right size and good quality. I'm glad I could find them on here.
- Ok - I only get 5 pages for $11.99. My DVB80 came with 20 pages to start with - and the album for $29.99. So - if I wanted 20 pages to use in my many albums - then it would cost me $47.96 (4 x $11.99 refill cost)!!!!
I could purchase 2 NEW DVB80 albums for $59.98, get 40 refill pages and get 2 binders to use for other purposes!!!
Does Case Logic think it's customers are idiots???
- This is a terrific product. I'm still working on sorting all of my DVDs into this format, and will definitely need another filler to make it work. The DVD is well protected in the sleeve and there's a great place to see the filler notes/cover page, making it a quick way to find things. Once I'm done, it will really steamline my entertainment area, and allow me to find things quickly. And, this makes it easier when we travel to pull out our collection for the kids to go!

3 comments about Kensington SmartTip for Compaq/HP Notebooks - power connector adapter kit ( 20047 ).
- I purchased the Kensington SmartTip Power cord about 6 months ago and have had excellent results. It worked so well, that I picked up an extra one. The only downside is they have become hard to find. I have searched on line to find out why, but have not had any luck. With that said it is an excellent product and powers my laptops, MP3 player and cell phone.
- this is my 2nd time buying the tips. they just break too easily. other than that they work just fine
- The N9 tip works with my HP DV1040 laptop, however is not a snug fit. This costs entirely too much for one usable tip... I wonder why they package these in twos?
Works fine, just don't like having to pay for it when the adapter says it works with HPs. And you don't get two of the same tip.

5 comments about Verbatim LightScribe - 30 x DVD-R - 4.7 GB 16x - LightScribe - spindle - storage media.
- I have no complaints regarding reliability - out of 20 disks no single error. However, LightScribe image is pretty bad. Whenever I tried to print an enough complicated picture, i.e. which needed all surface printing - there were white spots. This never happened with media that I purchased before.
- I buy these all the time. I love these. I don't have problems with them. They burn well and play fine in all my dvd players.
- I use an BenQ dvd burner with lightscribe and Nero for the software. The images produced on these discs came out crisp and easy to see at any angle.
- I don't know if it's my burner or these discs but they only work properly half the time. So far I've had a DRE (disc read error), one that wouldn't burn at all, and one that would only burn about 100mb of storage before it quit on me. out of the 6 discs I've burned, 3 failures is unacceptable.
- I've only used a few of these discs so far, but they have all worked great. There were no recording issues, and the LightScribe burner put the titles on just fine. Good deal on a good product.

5 comments about TV-B-Gone Universal TV Power Remote Control Keychain.
- I love using this TV-B-Gone at Wal-mart. All their TVs are always so loud. I sometimes give it to my grandchildren to shut the Department store TVs off. I have own this product for over two years and carry it all the time. The best part happens when you visit someone home and they don't shut the TV off - I do it for them. I can't use it at my own children's homes because they all know that I carry it. I use it all the time. A retired school teacher...TV-B-Gone Universal TV Power Remote Control Keychain
- I was giddy with excitement when this product arrived on a Saturday morning. Like everyone else who got this product, the first thing I did was press the button.
And wouldn't you know it, my TV (regular projector TV, probably 17-inch) immediately turned off--despite the fact that I wasn't even facing it.
Many moons and shopping trips to electronics stores, restaurants and grocery stores later, I've noticed a few things about it.
First, the design. I don't know about anyone else, but the device looked much smaller in the pictures. In my hand, its diameter is bigger than a poker chip and its thickness is a little much. Also, it's very light, which makes me wonder why they didn't bother making it smaller because this isn't an easy thing to conceal during use. The shell is pretty hollow so it makes a lovely clunking noise with all your other keys and nic nacs.
Second, the signal is not that strong. It works almost instantly if you're pointing it directly at a TV within 10ft. Outside of that, it could be a little tricky. I wasn't able to shoot from inside the pocket of my wool winter jacket, but works through my light fleece.
Another thing, this also turns TV's on, so if you're trying to clear out a rack of TV's at an electronics store, you may end up turning a couple on accidently that you've already turned off.
The huge 'but', though, is that when this thing does work--and it really does--you feel like Jesus. My favorite time with it so far was when I turned off a huge HDTV with these two guys playing Guitar Hero at a Best Buy.
I plan on going to the local sports bar with it during an important game sometime. (but that could be a problem since.. it's a sports bar and I don't like wearing a backwards hat)
If you have $20 to spend and love harmless mischief, I'd definitely recommend it.
- WOW! This product is amazing. It works on every T.V. I even tried it at school. Tv-B-Gone is a whole lot of fun! Trust me on this, you will enjoy it!
- Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1S6R54OCZ3V2L Here's a video of me using the TV B-Gone on a Panasonic Television.
I've used it on only three tv's at home so far.. On/Off Times below.
1 Second -Panasonic
2 Seconds -Samsung
1 Second -Westinghouse
Turns on and off tv's, does the job great so far.
It mute's my ipod sound system for some odd reason, but that's the least of my worries.
Longest range so far has been 25-30 Feet and worked fine on the Samsung.
Shipping was excellent and quick from Orion Telescopes, I totally recommend this product to anyone wishing to have fun.
- Works as advertised...but unfortunate that infrared doesn't work through glass...would be great to turn off the tv from outside the house.
