5 comments about Sangean ANT-60 Short Wave Antenna.
- This antenna will easily improve your inexpensive shortwave's reception. My old Sony Sony ICFSW7600G Worldband Radio Receivershortwave picked up stations that were never possible with the built-in antenna.
- I bought one of these from Radio Shack and there was no noticeable difference. I would have been better off bending a metal coat hanger and attaching it to my shortwave than to buy this useless item. Seriously, it did not help with the reception at all.
- I have two Eton (Grundig) radios. Both the S350DL and the mini300 are good radios for me. The addition of this useful little accessory, this random wire, has made both radios even better receivers.
In short, sometimes the additional antenna helps with reception, sometimes the effect is negligible, in a few instances it is best to disconnect the antenna. In talking to a friend who is very knowledgeable about all things radio, this is what can be expected of this type of simple, easy to use, equipment. I do use this antenna in conjunction with a grounding wire when using the S350DL, and I find the combination to be very effective. The sensible adapter clip works fine with either radio's antenna.
Were I to recommend any improvements to this product (I am doing so here), I'd suggest the addition of a sort of lock-in-place device, such as one often finds on tape measures, or fishing spools. The strap is handy, but a hook of some sort off of the spool case would also be a useful feature. Of course, one can fashion a hook and employ it with the strap to partially work around this. These are suggestions from an "indoor user", stringing about windows and curtains where these sort of features would be quite useful, and the kind of user likely to gain in numbers over time.
Overall, this is a very useful device for better SW listening. I'd recommend this simple antenna to anyone who is looking for a way to easily improve SW reception. It's not a panacea for SW reception issues, but it certainly does help one's reception in a lot of circumstances. The reasonable price and super saver delivery are also positive factors.
- This is a really good antenna. We used it to good results in Nova Scotia.
- Since my home owners association doens't allow out side antennas I tried this ANT-60. It gave me about 3db more gain. The fade is not eliminated in weak signals but reduced. Also I can listen to 20 meter Ham fairly well, which was almost impossible before. There may be better antennas like the window quads, but there isn't a handier one.

-
Excellent, resolved problem instantly and did not have to charge battery
first either.
- It's great to find items like this on Amazon! It was a genuine Plantronics part and works great! I couldn't imagine being without my headset!
- I ordered the battery replacement for my wireless headset and was surprised at how quickly I received it. I had specific normal delivered and had been told between 5 to 10 days but received it within two days. That is great service.
- Perfect factory replacement for my dead battery. Shame AMT made the whole thing so horrible by failing to ship the battery, insisting they had, dragging their feet about resolving it until I got harsh, and making communication so difficult (no phone numbers!). The product works, but next time I will buy it from someone who offers a phone number!
- It's just a battery but I don't like to chance a no-name brand even though this one is made in China (What's Not???)
Low Price, Prompt shipment and worked when I received it.

5 comments about Fellowes Nylon CD Wallet (224-Disc Capacity).
- This is a very easy and neat way to store your CD's. If there is any problem at all, it is that it holds so many that it is quite heavy when full.
- This is a nice case for the money with loads of capacity.
- The material and make are really good. The CD pages are not at all flimsy. The only draw back to the cast is that the pages aren't removeable. I like how it contains a small cloth to clean the CDs.
- For those who prefer to keep the cd booket (paper) with the associated cd, me, something to keep in mind: you greatly decrease the number stored--by approximately half. The good news is that the cd and booklet fit in one pocket, snug, but most booklets or whatever documentation are close to cd width or more and therefore the math simple. Unfortunately, I neglected to do the math before hand.
Mentioned to save others from happily loading the badboy with 224 discs and docs only to find NO chance of getting the zipper even started. By the way, at ~half it is snug so not much room for expansion. NOTE: assumption that using zipper for intended purpose important--to close and zip the case.
This item has a very firm/solid exterior case with what I consider a handle to be trusted--no problem with the handle as I have seen regarding other cases. The pages are NOT designed for removal as some prefer--appears to be combo stitched and glued.
The pockets have a nice soft backing for the discs so scratch potential minimized.
Minus my preference to keep the discs with the booklet, this is the best cd/dvd disc carrier I have seen for less than $50. I have 3 and now looking for more.
- These albums (which are made in China) are given away for free in China when you buy 10 copy DVD's. The DVD's cost about a dollar each, so for a $10 purchase you get one of these for free. Must be quite a markup to get to $25.

3 comments about Sony CKM-NWS610BLK Protective Case for the NWZ-S600 Series Sony Walkman Video MP3 Player (Black).
- Nice OEM Sony skin that also inludes one clear screen protector for player. The screen protector is not the type with sticky adhesive so is fairly easy to apply. Seems that will need to replace the screen protector again though as it does scratch easily. It appears to made of some type of rigid but thin plastic film. Kinda reminds me of the free protective films that are usually included with devices when you buy them.
The silicone skin is nice quality and fits like a glove. Has the accesses for charger, hold switch, lanyard, and headset jack. Outline is skin for volume control. Did take a bit of getting use to for accessing controls on front of player but not too bad for me. May be more difficult for someone with larger fingers/hands though (although may have to do more with fact that player is quite compact).
Wish Sony had included atleast some type of temporary film to protect screen and case in package with player but oh well. I like to keep my gadgets in nice shape though so I just had to get this for my new player. Great service as always from Amazon on this purchase.
- This case fits well and protects everything except the screen and the openings for the headphone jack and usb connector. The black tint keeps you from clearly seeing the controls, but you can make out the buttons well enough to use them.
- This is a good, protective cover by itself. I bought it with the belt clip thinking they could be used together - keep the player clean and protected from dust and scratches while also having a convenient way to carry it. They don't work together. I even went so far as to cut slots in the sides of the cover thinking they'd slide together easier - no way. It's too bad Sony couldn't think of a way to have a protective cover with a belt clip - doesn't seem to complicated to me and it would be very useful.

4 comments about Big Easy 4-DEVICE Universal Remote.
- Just 5 minutes after opening the box, I had this remote programmed to operate the TV, VCR and DVD player. I love that the number buttons are shaped like numbers so you don't have to worry about the printing wearing off like most remotes. I was even able to teach my 4 year old to operate the remote since now she can see the numbers! Just what we needed to replace our old remote.
- I have used universal remotes for a lot of years now. I have always been a gadget guy so keeping the remotes around for my media setup, especially with kids, is just not practical. For several years I have been using this one for all remote. I have replaced the remote three times for a variety of reasons but have always returned to the same basic model.
You would think with being a gadget guy I would go in for a real expensive remote that could literally do everything. I have tried the more expensive remotes. Believe it or not I have not enjoyed anything more complex then this remote. The others are just too much work for relaxing. I like and my family likes the more relaxed usage of the simple one for all remote.
Pros:
- Inexpensive. Very easy to fit in a your budget.
- Easy to program.
- Works with just about any device even though the codes haven't been updated in a while.
- Nice large buttons.
- Button layout is logical and easy to get familiar with.
- Lasts a long time. I have broken or lost 3 but that is not the devices fault.
Negatives:
- This is not a learning remote. You can search for codes but you can't import functions from other remotes.
- Does not work well with DVD/VCR combos. This is the only reason I have considered moving up.
- Buttons do not light up or glow in the dark and that would be nice.
For the price I could not ask for much more.
- Product arrived on time, packaged well. Unwrap & use - amazing! Did not even need to read directions!
- this remote sets up easy. the remote has a sleep function on it, and it says you can set up a tv that has a dvd and or vcr built in the tv, a lot of remotes will not do that. i like this remote a lot.

5 comments about DLO Homedock Music Remote.
- DLO Homedock Music Remote My first purchase of this device failed out of the box. I exchanged it for a new one. This one worked fine. I use this to remotely control my playlist that was created on itunes for my Nano 8GB. It is very effective and easy to use. It works anywhere in the house and outside the house as well. It is great for parties because I control the music and I keep it in my pocket so I'm the boss of the music! Of course, it has its limitations in terms of how many playlists and how many artists, etc. But within those limitations I love it! If you get a defective one, just exchange it! As to the fellow whose review stated that there was an "out of range" message and they were just next to the device; well, that happens periodically. Just go back to the main menu and start over and it fixes it.
- I needed a remote that I could play from outside in my driveway or yard as I have speakers outdoors. This thing works great. There was an issue that I finally figured out - I thought the first I had was broken and took it back. The 2nd one I got did the same thing. Here' what it is...
The remote stays 'linked' for about 20 seconds and then 'goes to sleep'. I had trouble getting it to connect again (actually wouldn't). I had to put a paperclip in the bottom to reset it!!! happened all the time - had to carry a paper clip around... finally realized that if you hit the middle MENU button before any other buttons were hit - - it would 'wake up' and connect. So just have to do that. If you hit any other button first, it will die and you have to re-connect with the paper clip.
Probably doesn't make much sense...
this is the only unit i found that works through walls at the distance needed....
- I have had this for several months. When it works, it is quite neat. HOWEVER, and this is a big however, the sync process by which the new information on the iPod is transmitted to the remote is very flaky. Every time I add music to my iPod, the information has to be download to the remote, and that never goes smoothly. Usually I seem to have to reboot both the remote and the iPod several times before it works. And if I put my wife's iPod in the dock, that requires a new synch, with all the problems.
Also because the remote is small, and the browsing is done locally based on information stored in the remote, the browsing capability is pretty limited. The remote doesn't reproduce the iPod menus, rather it has a smaller set of selections. It is OK if you just want to fire up a play list or find a specific album, but overall quite limited.
I now have a Philips iPod dock plus universal remote and I am much happier with that.
- I purchased this item about a year ago for a special party I was giving and would not have time to both manage my music and entertain my guest at the same time. I needed a remote to assist me. This product did its job! Now I am purchasing my 2nd one for portability of my music for a class i will be teaching. Again, I need an assistant. And this time for only $90 bucks, it is worth the investment for the work. I paid $140.00 for my first one. Recommended!
- The item never worked. If the remote won't charge it's useless. Look elsewhere, not DLO.

- Hard to really review a cable. Either it works or it doesn't and then you just have to add price as the only variable. Well this scores 100% on all accounts. My system is blue so it was a bonus that they even had the shade of blue that my case is.
- What can I say. I'm using it to connect my Linux box with a gigabit card to a gigabit switch and it works as it should. I get the expected speeds on file transfers.
- gr8 cable, fast transfer of data. not much to say about a cable :)

5 comments about CDE-48 48 Heavy Duty Wallet CD Organizer (Black).
- This is a pretty good CD Wallet. It's definitely durable and sells at a great price too. I have only found one con with it so far. Sometimes the disks would slide towards the top of the holder if the wallet is handled roughly.
- The title says it all. With a labelmaker and a little creativity, this CD wallet has been transformed into a first rate, relatively light weight, easy to carry coupon organizer. We actually have two; one for groceries and one for toiletries, otc medicines, etc. try it! Good way to save money.
- Good size, durable and holds discs - just like it's supposed to. The case smells bad though, no two ways about it. Hopefully smell will dissapate.
- The wallet is small enought to fit in a glove compartment and carries and protects 48 of your favorite CDs. Great buy!
- The case is very sturdy. It is not nearly as bulky as other cases and fits under the seat and out of sight. It can be a challenge to put CD's back into the sleeves while on the road.
