5 comments about Classico Magazine Rack (Chrome) (8.5"H x 10.5"W x 3.5"D).
  1. I bought this product after reading all the raving reviews. It is small (picture is misleading) and when it is standing on its own, it cannot hold more than 1 regular size magazine. It simply topples over.I am extremely dissapointed with this one and will need to return it. I dont think it even deserves the one star rating!

  2. Just what I was looking for. I was in search of a magazine rack that would fit on the inside of my 11" vanity door, and this was it. Looks good and well constructed.

  3. Sits nicely on the floor, and fits a lot of magazines. Would also look nice mounted on the wall, but we just don't have the space to do that in our bathroom.

  4. It is roomy without making your magazines fold over and collect at the bottom. It was easy to install and is sturdy. Best of all, because it is open with bars, it doesn't collect a whole lot of dust.

  5. Based on the other comments, I was a little surprised how small this magazine rack is. I definitely wouldn't describe it as roomy. Larger-format magazines won't fit inside easily. And I like to keep a book in my bathroom, as well as magazines, and that uses up almost all of the space.

5 comments about Belkin(R) 6ft. Cord Concealer, Gray.
  1. This cord concealer was cheap and that's exactly what it is. It came in a 6 foot section all rolled up. That means it now won't stay flat on the ground covering your cables. Its okay if you run one cord through it but forget about more than that. This concealer is meant for one cord and is not very durable.

  2. I've had the thing several weeks now, and still can't get it to lie flat. Sure, you can't see the cord...but what good is that if you keep tripping over the concealer?

  3. The complaints with this product mostly center around its inability to lay flat after being shipped tightly rolled up. I had this problem at first too (I had the beige concealer). I was a bit fed up but thought perhaps a little bit of heat might help loosen it up. I had cut it into two 3 foot sections to use at different doors, so I got on my hands and knees at the first door and used a hair dryer to gently warm up the rubber. It seemed to work but was taking forever, so I grabbed both sections of the cover and tossed them in my bath tub. I let them soak in very hot water for a few minutes, and pulled the first one out, which felt pretty limp like a noodle. I drained the water off (gave it a few swings to clear the water from the channel) and laid it on the floor to cool off and dry with some heavy items pinning down both ends, same with the second.

The heat "reset" the rubber a bit, and letting it cool while sitting flat locked it in nicely.

Since then, both of the covers have worked flawlessly.

Using wide strips of 3M double sided foam tape has helped keep them very flat and very much locked into place.

  4. Product comes coiled and Never seems to uncoil. The double stick tape helps, but product is 6 ft and only 3 ft tape provided.

  5. Why spend more? This is a great product for the price. Don't worry about damaging these thing - it is almost impossible. Quickest and most effective way I know to get the strip laid out flat as a board is to stick it in a pot of water, heat it to a boil and then lay it out flat on a hard flat surface. Obviously, use caution when removing it from the water, and handle with care (it just came out of boiling water.... it is hot, and it stays that way for a while). As far as my experience goes, I don't think you can over-cook these things. I got distracted by a phone call and let one boil for 15 mins. Same result as boiling it for 5 mins.

5 comments about 4 to 6 pin Premium quality FireWire IEEE 1394 iLink Cable.
  1. This cable is great quality. It isn't stiff at all like another reviewer stated. It works perfectly with all of my devices -- external hard drive and DV Camcorder. I have no idea why someone would buy a more expensive cable when this one works great and is so cheap. Here, cheap does not mean low quality. This is the cable to buy if you're looking at other more expensive options. Use the money you save to take your girlfriend/wife out to get some ice cream :)

  2. Simple cable works good with my JVC mini DV camcorder. I bought it to put DV onto DVD and it works so I'm happy

  3. This cable works great. It is not stiff as someone else said. It is long enough to use easily. Don't waste your money on a more expensive one!

  4. I was a little worried after reading the review that the cable was stiff, but when I got mine, it was actually a very flexible cable. It also has a nice texture to it. It came exactly as pictured. All the connectors fit well into my ports. It works, there are no flaws that I can see, it shipped super fast, and the price is great. That's all I care about.

  5. I was really scared when I ordered this because of the price. I took a chance and am extremely happy. The cable works like it should.

5 comments about Retractable Apple iPod AV Composite Cable, Black.
  1. this does not work with my brand new 80gig ipod. only the sounds comes through. ITS NOT A DEAL WITH KNOWING HOW TO MAKE IT WORK. its about apple wanting more money, you MUST buy an apple product to connect video to you tv. i have bought many different cables just like this one and only the sounds comes through on all of them.

  2. It doesn't work! Even on an iPod Nano 3rd Generation. Don't buy it no matter what!

  3. Go to eforcity.com and the description for the cable is that you need a apple universal dock to play on iPod Classic!!!! I haven't gone that far into buying one, but I have faith in the cable.

  4. Very poor quality item for this price, also didn't work with iTouch, Ipod Classic or Nano 3g. Don't waste your money

  5. I was happy to see that the quality of this item exceeded my expectations. As stated in the ad, this item WILL work with the iPhone, touch, and other newer iPods THROUGH THE USE OF AN ADDITIONAL APPLE REMOTE DOCK. For Pete's sake, people, READ the page before leaving feedback. Fast and accurate shipping, great product overall. Thank you!

  4. A few days after receiving the adapter, the single adapter (you get both a single and dual adapter) fell apart. I don't think I need to say more.

4 comments about Shure SE310 Sound Isolating Earphone - Black.
  1. These are great earphones. The fit and comfort are superb and the audio fidelity is unbelievable. Highly recommended.

  2. I once owned a pair of these earphones the bass is great and you get a great sound. You also won't hear anything else in the room while music is playing. Unfortunatley they are very delicate. To give us a high quality sound shure gives us high quality wires- made of gold. Gold is a lot softer than your average earphone cable, so they damage easily. Mine lasted 6 months.

  3. The best pair of noise isolating ear plugs. IF you listen to the rock n roll garbage, i would say anything goes they are so loud who really cares what instrument you hear to... but when it comes to classical... orchestra... it always fascinating to pick up the event the most subtle tone. I have experienced it. I have used this pair in flight... in book store... in public spots... work places... and almost every time i will have to be physical shaken to get my attention. It isolates the noise to core... may be not in the aircraft, esp when you sit in the back of the flight... i guess even Bose can not do any better there... with air speed and cabin pressure.

I used to own the E2c and they were good too, but the fact that they were hard to fit in, but the foam sleeves in SE series, reshapes in to your ear to isolate the noise, so at first you would find it weird when the foam is expanding to isolate... but once it is shaped... it does wonders.

The first the I saw the price, in March 2007, I was not sure if I wanted to pay that for a earplug but the experience with e2c and Shure's reputation, I did anyway and surprised that even after a year their price is still high... that tells me something about the quality. compare other earplugs in the market within a year you will find the price going down by 50 %, but not this one.
Definitely recommended...do not hesitate the price... its always what you pay is what you get...

  4. Not enough base to balance overwhelming highs. I returned them the next day. What a joke these are.

5 comments about Sony 5MCR-156A 8cm (3") CD-R Disc for Mavica Digital Cameras (5-pack).
  1. Excellent product that ALWAYS produces a desired outcome...great to share through computer contacts. Thanks, Mavica!!!

  2. I can't say enough what a great product this is! My Mavica camera is three years old and I wouldn't give it up for the world. Only problem is, I used to be able to take the disk to Walmart or Sam's Club, place it in their photo printer and get photos. It is no longer compatible with their systems. Real bummer.

  3. Although the Sony Mavica has been discontinued, I still publish photos taken with this camera. Can't do it without the discs, though. Glad to find a good resource online, particularly because they are not available locally.

  4. This is a horrible, horrible price for 3" CD-rs. You can find the exact same type of disc at many online stores for much cheaper.

For example - I just bought a 40 back of CD-rs for my Mavica camera from an online auction site for $40 including shipping. Here, you're paying times what I paid per disc.

    Ridiculous.

  5. Replacement discs for Sony Mavica camera. Have used these discs in the past and have had no problem with them.

3 comments about Griffin PowerBlock AC Wall Charger for iPod, iPhone 1G, and Other USB Devices (White).
  1. This is the best wall charger you could ask for if you are buying any mp3 player or buying an ipod this is for you okay all you do is simple plug it in into a wall outlet use the included cable plug it in your ipod and their you go the light on it will be red which means its charging and then it will turn green once its done charging, if the cable included dosent work if you dont have an ipod then use the cable with the other mp3 player great buy, buy it today!

  2. I bought the Griffin PowerBlock AC Wall Charger for use with my iPod Touch. I resisted buying Apple's own wall charger because I felt it was a bit overpriced at $30. While the Griffin PowerBlock is the same price, at least you get a spare USB-to-dock cable as an extra bonus.

I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and no problems. It's nice to be able to plug the iPod into a power outlet overnight and wake up the next morning to find a fully-charged unit. I have a notebook computer as my home computer, and I'd rather not keep it on 24/7 just to keep an iPod juiced up.

Also used it on my slightly-older iPod Video, works fine for charging that too. I'm guessing it'll work with just about any dock-input iPod/iPhone without any issues.

Only one minor shortcoming: The display light on the PowerBlock is supposed to stay red while charging, and turn green once charging is complete. In practice, when the iPod gets close (but not quite all the way) to full-charge, the light switches between red and green every couple of minutes, basically giving you a false-positive. Not the most reliable indicator, although it does turn a solid green once charging is fully done. (I suppose you could also check the iPod itself to confirm when it's done.)

  3. Griffin Power Block review for Griffin P/N: 9772-PWRBLKW

The Griffin Power Block carries a retail price of approximately the same as Apple's AC (Alternating Current) to USB charging adapter, but if you look around you will find the Power Block available for much less than the retail price. I will have to admit that I considered buying Apple's charging adapter because of its extremely compact size (about the same dimensions as a child's wooden playing block), but I decided to buy the Griffin Power Block since it comes with an extra iPod data-sync cable. This cable is not just for charging the batteries of all iPods, but is a fully functional data cable that you can use to sync your iPods. Many modern portable devices are powered by the +5 VDC regulated through the USB bus, so the Griffin's AC adapter can also act as a fully functional charger for devices such as GPS units or competing media players.

I evaluated the Power Block using a 2nd generation iPod shuffle, iPod Touch (Firmware 1.1.5), and a Tom Tom One XL GPS unit. The Griffin Power Block is a rapid charger but I did not detect exorbitant amounts of heat generated from either the AC adapter or the device. I used another Griffin FM transmitter that doubles as a USB charging point for use in a car (+12 VDC) and that unit generated a ferocious amount of heat during charging. The Griffin Power Block stays relatively cool throughout the charging process. It charged up the shuffle, Touch, and Tom Tom without any drama or problems. In fact, the Griffin Power Block is even capable of fully charging up a 2nd generation iPod shuffle. The LEDs on the Shuffle and Power Block will turn GREEN once the Shuffle is fully charged, indicating the Griffin has some type of smart charging circuitry.

The Griffin AC adapter is compatible with 120 VAC and 240 VAC systems, so you can take it with you on your international travels without worrying about compatibility with foreign outlets. The two prongs fold away, giving the AC adapter a compact profile that is easy to store in your pocket or bag. The prongs are supposedly non-polarized, so you can plug it "upside down" in an outlet without having to mess around with finding the correct orientation.

Pros: For the same price of an official Apple adapter, you get an extra data cable. The adapter is light, sleek, and versatile.

Cons: It is slightly larger than the new pint-sized Apple charger, and doesn't carry the Apple branding or logo.

Overall: It works as advertised and was compatible with every USB device I tried. I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars!
