- The price was very good and received the merchandise in a very timely manner and in good condition.
- After hooking everything up I was suprised at the picture quality. It came close to HD quality from a standard DVD player. Definitely worth the money.
- Cables Unlimited AUD-1380-06 6 Feet RCA Component Video/Audio Cable
They work just as good as ones from a walk in store and 4 times the price. I ordered with the Amazon free shipping and they were on my front door step in about 23 house. I'm very pleased.

5 comments about Sennheiser Pc161 Over-The-Head Open-Air Binaural Headset With Xxl Earcups.
- When we bought this product we thought it would have a better microphone with it. The sound quality was great but the mic left something to be desired.
- I was looking for headphones that sounded clear when I spoke because I'm a raid leader in a WoW guild and the Sennheiser Pc161 was worth it.
The sound is great, but I'm no audiophile so probably not the best judge. The microphone works well.
I only give it a 4 because I'd like it if the volume in the headphones could be adjusted a little higher. Just a little peeve, though. Overall, these are good for the price.
- I have been a devout Sennheiser fan since 2002. I have yet to find better headphones for the price. And I've tried everything from $30 ear buds to $280 studio cans. Even more expensive Sony cans don't rival Sennheiser.
After much research, I recently bought this headset unit for my PC. I haven't used the microphone yet, but the sound quality is great. These are one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. I am 100% satisfied.
The reviews don't lie. This headset is the best in the price range.
- These headsets are the second set of headsets that I've purchased for use with games as well as VoIP programs. These are awesome; they have fantastic sound quality and are compatible with Skype.
- This was a disappointment....i originally had the pc150 headphones which were amazing, but the in-line volume decided to quit on me, so i had intermitting sound. I saw this pair and got excited because the pc160 series are the ones with the usb attachment, which is useful for people with a crappy sound card (or no card lol). Unfortunately when these showed up on my stoop they did NOT have the usb sound card. Another problem with these headphones is that the earcups are VERY UNcomfortable, where my pc150 ones rocked even with hours of CS:S playing :D
Do yourself a favor and skip these...

5 comments about Skullcandy EH17-SKC43 Smokin' Bud Earphone, Rasta.
- this line of earbuds are excellent, only a fraction of the cost of high-end ones with the same functionality.
- Smokin' buds are the best in ear headphone that I have ever had. First they cancel most of the noise outside the ear, so that you can experience the sound with no distractions, and they deliver a sound that I never thought was possible by such a small speaker. Great product. Would recommend to anyone who was willing to pay a little more than normal, but get a far superior headphone.
- After reading reviews and finding the only negative apparently being giant ear canals of one customer, I decided to give them a try. (I see what Giant Ear Canal means, by the way...they DO tend to fall out...but just play with the different sizes of "earpieces" they include; that solved my problem. I use the medium size on the left side and the large size on the right, but this is missing the point). The SOUND QUALITY is no better than the $15 JVC pair I bought at Wal-Mart.
Oh, and the volume slider is OK, but I have to take one earpiece to hear when people talk ANYway, so that feature was not a plus for me.
In my opinion, the Smokin' Buds company simply tries to appeal to the stoner crowd while charging twice the price. Save your dough and go with a real name-brand product.
Thanks for listening-
- It's entirely possible that I had a bad pair, but the sound was completely flat with these earphones. My music lost all of its depth and breadth. You're better off with a generic pair of Phillips from the drugstore.
The only reason they get a star is because they look cool, which in no way makes up for the poor sound quality.
If you want great sounding headphones for under $50, get the Koss PortaPro's.
- I was finally convinced to use ear buds over ear-covering 'phones when I got a set with my Pioneer Inno. Since I wanted one pair for home and one for the office, I have been trying to find another pair I liked as well.
First I decided to go with Pioneer, since I had such luck with the first set. But the buds were too big and hurt my ears. Next I tried a pair of Philips with the same results.
But with these ear buds, I am happy at last. They stay in my ear, their sound is clear--take that claim with a grain of salt since I use them more for talk recordings than for music--and the in-cord volume control is more useful than I'd anticipated.
I am tempted to buy more of these in other spiffy colors. But having read other reviews, I want to hang onto these for a while to see if I have a problem with their breaking within a year.

5 comments about Coby CS-MP23 MP3 Portable Mini Stereo Speaker System.
- I bought this for $5 at Walgreens. It runs on one double A battery, and is very portable. Truly the sound wuality isnt that great, but it is really worth the money. It is about 3in long, and 1 inch wide, and can fit into any pocket. I am generally not pleased with coby products, but i would recomend this, becuase it is well worth the seven bucks.
- Sometimes I like to listen to an audiobook in a quiet place but I don't feel like wearing earphones so I searched for a mini speaker system. Hence, I found this product and bought it. Just got it today. It is just what I was looking for. The volume is loud enough for a fairly quiet, private place to listen. The construction seems solid. The sound quality is so-so yet I can still enjoy listening to music through it if I desire to. It actually seems a little bit thick and heavy compared to my iPod Classic but it will do its job nicely.
- Even brand new with a fresh battery, this device has a very weak, tinny sound -- basically useless to me even to listen to voice-only podcasts.
- I bought this (Coby CS-MP23) simultaneous with the Coby CS-P14, and a Walgreens "GoStereo" generic version (I don't think it even has a model name on it), all for the same price (see another review here for the price). The MP23 and the GoStereo were from Walgreens, and the CS-P14 was from an electronics store. The one I kept was the generic "GoStereo" version from Walgreens. The CS-MP23 uses a single AA battery, but was slightly less loud with worse sound quality. All three had very bad volume, and not-so-hot sound, even for voice. But the GoStereo won in both quality and volume categories (it uses two AAA's), although it is a skosh bigger in terms of volume.
- Got it yesterday. Didn't work. Just creates an annoying sound. Comes in the annoying package that just makes it a pain to return. Here is $7 I'll never see again. A shame they don't give you the option of zero stars. Amazon however is the best. Never had a problem with them, it's definitely about the product, not the seller.

5 comments about Monster Cable PGL400 CVAA-10 GameLink.
- Here are the three main points of my review:
1. As of May 1, 2008, you can buy this item at circuitcitydotcom for $8.96 not including tax or shipping.
2. Since this item does not include a digital audio cable, if you want digital sound, you can buy the Monster THX 1000 digital audio cable at circuitcitydotcom for $8.39 not including tax or shipping.
3. Most importantly, if you don't want to ruin the input ports on your expensive flat screen TV make the following modification to your cable: take some needle nose pliers and bend outwards the teeth around the output tip. This will allow them to fit around the TV input ports. I'd rather ruin a $9 cable then a $2100 TV.
Read on for more details about my fascinating discoveries!
So I read all the reviews for this item before buying it online at circuitcitydotcom yesterday, April 30, 2008. I paid $8.96 plus tax. Since this doesn't come with a digital audio cable, I found one, the Monster THX 1000, ULTI1000FO4, at circuitcitydotcom for $8.39. For both, I paid $22.18 including tax and shipping.
I chose in-store pickup for the component video cable. I just got done installing the PS2 component video cable into my brand new Sony Bravia KDL-40XBR4 and there is a noticeable improvement above the composite cable that came with the PS2. The graphics are clear and sharp. I'm glad that I bought this cable and hope you do too. It helped take advantage of my new TV's capabilities.
After reading the reviews about people ruining their input ports and TV's, I was careful not to force the plugs into the ports. I'm not sure why anyone would use excessive force when working with expensive electronics. Obviously there is something incredibly wrong if it takes fifteen minutes, let alone an hour, to install five plugs. My installation took less than 10 minutes.
For me, the PS2 end of the cable fit perfectly, even better than the Sony supplied composite cable. I then tried to install one plug into the TV and it didn't go in easily. I stopped immediately! I went to grab some needle-nose pliers and proceeded to bend the teeth surrounding the plug. I was careful but some of the teeth broke off. This actually was okay.
In the end, after breaking off one or two teeth from each plug, it made the plug fit into the port like butter. You don't need to bend the teeth very far to make the plug fit but it doesn't take much to break them off completely. So if your plugs don't fit, don't be afraid of breaking off several teeth while trying to bend them outwards. Except, it's probably a good idea not to break off all or most of teeth. The plug would then have little or no support and might fall out of the input port.
I'm sorry for all the people who paid close to $60 for this and had problems. I hope people who read this review will be able to save money by buying the parts the same way I did.
- I just bought this cable for my ps2 and my new LCD TV and the Quality change a LOT!!! I recomended 100%
- I have a Samsung 46" HDTV. With the standard composite Playstation 2 cable, resolution is simply very poor. With this component cable, resolution is noticeably improved. It is a worthwhile improvement.
I purchased this version as it was actually less expensive at the time than the 3 cable component version (that version doesn't include analog sound, this version does). I have a digital connection from my PS2 to my home theater, which does provide clearer sound than using this cable. But, if you don't have the capability for digital audio, this cable will still provide more than adequate sound.
When I purchased this cable it was priced competitively, meaning more than the really cheap cables but on par with the other quality cables. Browse Amazon and you'll see what I mean: half the cables are very cheap (thin cable, flimsy looking connector) and the other half are "quality" (thicker cable, better quality connector). I think the cheap cables will mostly work, but there will probably be a slightly noticeable quality difference between the two. The difference between a "quality" cable from XYZ brand, however, and a "premium" cable from Monster, is all in the marketing.
Like I said, I bought this cable because it was priced competitively to the other quality products at the time I purchased. I've noticed the price seems to swing wildly (as I'm writing this review, it's 50% higher than when I bought it). With that said, if the price is right, you can't go wrong with this. If it's dramatically more expensive than other cables that look identical, either wait or buy one that looks well made and has good reviews. Wrapping rubber around a wire isn't exactly rocket science (the real rocket science is in building a brand name to convince someone to pay 50% more for a difference they can't even notice).
- This cable comes up first in Amazon search results for "Gamecube Component Cable" amoungst other Gamecube video cables, so I ordered it...
Only to find out this is for PS2!
I'm sure this is a high quality cable, but why was it listed for Gamecube!?
I'm very unpleased.
- Have a ps2 with an lcd tv recently purchased, first thing I noticed was how crappy the ps2 looked with the new lcd, red the reviews for the monster component cable, it cost $30 with shipping included, I hooked it up to the playstation and was blown away at how much better the game looked, much better grafics and depth of color than the standard tv set I had, all I have to say is trust the customer reviews.

5 comments about SanDisk Sansa m200 Silicone Case (Pink).
- This arrived today with my mp3 player, and it's awesome! It is WAY better than the icky thin plastic case that came with the player. The silicone won't slip out of my hands when they get sweaty at the gym, and the belt clip will do the trick. I was a little surprised that the belt clip has no lever to push to open up the clip... you have to manually pry it open some to slip it onto your waistband, but it has a nice strong grip. There is nothing to protect the face of the player, but hey... that's why I bought a $40 mp3 player instead of an expensive iPod. ;) Overall, I think it's great.
- Its great my wife loves the case. she really likes the built-in belt clip. Other than that I mean its a case what else can I say?
- This is a great case for the m200 Sansa. I would recommend it to anyone who owns a m200.
One thing I would warn, it does not protect the screen, but the screen is strong enough it really doesn't need it. also does not protect the computer connection, but in the 2 years I used this case, I did not have a problem.
- I WISH THE PICTURE THEY SHOW DIDN'T HAVE THE PLAYER INSIDE. I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING THE PLAYER, NOT JUST THE CASE. BUT I DID GET IT QUICK
-
These fit the SanDisk Sansa M series MP3 players perfectly. They are made of durable silicone, have a belt clip, and allow easy access to buttons. The screen is not covered, but I haven't found this to be a problem.

5 comments about AKG K701 Studio Headphones.
- I bought these over my HD555's, and I have to say, one of the best decisions I've made. I love these headphones, leaps and bounds better then the senns and I am just now starting to break them in fully. Hooked up to an amp they just blow me away listening to vinyl records of any type. I highly recommend these, especially for this price, it's unreal, they stole me away from being a Sennheiser fanboy.
- My wife bought these for me for my birthday. I was thrilled because I planned on buying these myself. The specs are impressive. The build quality is higher than I expected. I only gave them two stars because of the inconsistency that I experienced while listening. These headphones are not what most people think they are. They will not sound good unless you have a dedicated headphone amplifier. The volume is extremely low without extra amplification. When they are amplified however, they sound great. They do sound better than any headphones I've ever owned. The real issue here is one of consistency. If you move these headphones just a bit while on your head, the sound changes. Different sources sound different as well. And for me, I was able to produce distortion very easily. The max input power for these headphones is 200mW. That's 200 milliwatts. That's not a lot of power for headphones, and with the 62ohm resistances, that's not a lot of volume. Any more power than that is really distorted. They are easy to overdrive. They are too easy to underpower. They just do not produce consistent enough sound for my needs. If you're a gamer or DJ or music produce or ipod listener, these just won't do the trick.
- This is more confirmation than anything new....
These are far and away the best headphones I have ever heard when paired with the right electronics. I would only buy these if you plan on pairing this with a decent headphone amplifier.
I have been using a pair of IEM Etymotic ER4P's for a few years and have been very happy. I wanted something for home that was more comfortable for extended periods of time. The AKG K701 is a major improvement over the ER4P's in comfort and sound when paired with the headphone amp on a Presonus Firebox and high quality recordings. However, I prefer the ER4Ps on my Macbook, Headroom Total Bithead, and iaudio portable player. The ER4P's are great headphones too:)
These sound more like speakers to me than headphones. The bass is pure quality! The mix of bass matches my 2 channel setup which is also very linear. If you want over emphasized bass and you don't listen to high quality recordings then an EQ will provide as much bass as you want:) Just for fun I queued up DJ Laz Journey Into Bass and changed the EQ settings to bump the lowest octave in itunes. I turned it up until I couldn't stand it. I heard plenty of bass without the distortion associated with over excursion. 30hz is no problem for these headphones:)
For those into classical, Mephisto & Co. Minnesota Orchestra "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is an amazing track covering the entire audible spectrum with an entourage of instruments. 11:18 of jaw dropping realism!
Pros: Soundstage, most accurate bass i've heard in a headphone, tonal balance, comfort
Cons: Picky about source, amplifier and material. Leaks tons of sound to the outside world and in from the outside world. The construction quality is good, but many pressure points are made out of plastic.... I don't think that they will break though.
- The first time you listen to these, you just notice how big and airy everything sounds. It's very much unlike listening to a pair of headphones, as sounds seem to come from far away. You can really crank up the volume and not even notice how loud everything is because of this presentation. It's lovely, and the sound quality is superlative, which is why I rated this five stars. I also think that compared to its direct competitors, it is priced very attractively and presents one of the best values in headphones today.
So what's the catch? As superlative and perfect this set is in accomplishing what it should accomplish, I wonder if its goal is something that's worth it for the average listener. Is it studio quality? Yes, it's clinically accurate and very flat. But you can't use it as a monitor because it's open and bleeds sound, and you still can't mix on it because it still retains imaging and frequency issues of headphones (yes, I've tried). It's lovely for the critical listening at home environment, especially for classical and singer-songwriter kind of stuff, but for rock, hip-hop, and electronic, you can't really get too excited to this sound. So the K701 isn't for everyone.
The K701 sound is something that pretty much everyone in the world would enjoy tremendously. I just highly doubt that it's too many people's favorite listen. It allows you to feed your passion for the music you love, but I don't know if it can start that fire.
- These cans have a soundstage that is lifelike and detailed. They can bring hours of pleasure to lovers of jazz and classical music. The bass response while accurate, will leave people with more vigorous tastes dissapointed. I loved them and would listen to them almost every day. Comfort was a serious issue, but I have a low hair cut. After about 6 months of listening however, one of the channels died. After some research I found out that it is a common problem and may be related to the service life of the flat voice coil. Nothing stings a consumer more then finding out they have spent so much on something that may be fundamentally flawed. Friends and family will giggle and note that their el cheapo cans never have to be sent back to the manufactuer. The warranty covers this problem, but the headphones will never be the same in the minds of the crazy audiophile perfectionists (like me) that spend $300 on cans. A word to the wise is sufficient, "Don't fall in love with someone you know will break your heart."
P.S. You need an EXCELLENT ($200+) amp. These guys only shine when compared to other cans if they have a high quality source (and I don't mean high bit rate MP3s) and quality amplification. Your cans are only as good as your source so I-podies should look elsewhere.

5 comments about Link Cable for Game Boy Advance and Gamecube.
- I purchased this for use with the Gamecube game PokemonXD:Gale of Darkness so that my brothers could upload their pokemon from the Gameboy Advanced games. It worked wonderfully and neither I nor my brothers had any problems with it. In fact, my brothers requested me to buy another one so they can play against each other in other Gamecube games as well!
- Hello,It's me again!The [..]reviewer!
Anyhow, let's say you own Pokemon Colosseum or Pokemon XD:Gales of Darkness for your Nintendo Gamecube, and If you don't own two Gameboy Advances/Gameboy advance Sp's,than all you gotta do Is connect it to your GBA/GBA SP,and on the other and into your Gamecube, and your ready to transfer your Pokemon from one game to another! So if your a Pokemon gamer, than this is a must-buy!
- My son loves this gadget. He can play all the games for the advance on the tv and so everyone can watch and play too. Even my hubby loves it. The guys just play and have fun with it. If your child likes to trade pokemon, this is the product for them. I would recommend it. It's not a flimsy product. Since I bought this one through amazon.com, I recieved it a couple days later.
- I purchased 4 of these for the Four Swords Adventures Gamecube title. They have all worked fine; I have experienced no technical problems with them. Their only shortcoming is that they're difficult to disconnect from a GBA once they're attached, even for an adult. Maybe that was intentional so that players couldn't accidentally yank out the cord during play. It hasn't made me regret the purchase.
Warning to Pokemon enthusiasts: I haven't tried these with any Pokemon games, so I can neither confirm nor deny rumors of problems on that front.
- i bought this from marketplace seller Kandel's Korner. it's not a nintendo product, but it worked GREAT with absolutely NO PROBLEMS. i don't know what the other people who have reviewed this product did wrong, but i simply followed the directions in pokémon colosseum and now i have bayleef, croconaw and cyndaquil in my emerald game, ready for breeding and trading to diamond/pearl!

5 comments about Built NY 17" Laptop Sleeve - Stripe.
- THe laptop sleeve is an easy fit for my Apple MacBook Pro and a easy fit for my lifestyle. I'm always on the move and my laptop fits in easy and quick. A great price and it looks cool too. My daughter has the brown polka dot and loves it also.
- The 17" sleeve didn't fit my 17" Qosmio computer. My computer is 3" thick and there was not enough stretch. I gave 1 star because it was very cute.
- The size, shape, durability and usefulness of this product is as described...but it looks a bit different than I imagined. The surface is not as smooth as I thought it would be from the photo. Up close, the dots seem bigger and more colorful but the surface, overall, is more matte and dull. I probably would not have purchased this item if I had seen it in person first. I will probably resell it on eBay as the seller charges S&H both ways if the item is returned (~$11.00).
- I bought this sleeve for my 17 inch laptop for college and I really like it. It seems to protect my computer and an online purchase seems to be the only way a 17 inch can be fit for a sleeve. I get a lot of compliments on how stylish it is and it works with everything I need it for.
- I had purchased the same item at REI and then returned it when I found it cheaper on your site. The difference is that it fits much tighter. Although it was what I was looking for rather than the bulky other computer bags. It works but I don't coer my computer until after I go thru airport security.

5 comments about Low Profile Bracket Kit.
- We the freeNezy testers at eJawab Inc. found that the product would be better if there were more single attachments with holes in opposite positions to give better options.
- Vikram Jhaveri, Chico
- I ordered this bracket using the "Better Together" option that Amazon paired with the "Nvidia Geforce 6200, Low Profile Support / 256MB Ddr / Agp 8X /support Dvi, Tv" video card. It is NOT THE CORRECT BRACKET. This bracket is for a video card with the "S-Video" connector located ABOVE the "DVI" connector. This particular NVidia card has the "S-Video" below the DVI, and it does not fit the recommended bracket at all.
- Prompt delivery which I appreciated very much. I apologize for not being able to comment on the product however, I was impressed by how professionally the transaction was handled and the care taken in packing the item.
- I used this kit in a small form factor Dell pc and it worked flawlessly. It even included a double PCI bracket that enabled both VGA and DVI to be mounted at the same time. Nice product with easy installation.
- I ordered this bracket using the "Frequently Bought Together" option that Amazon paired with the "Nvidia Geforce 6200, Low Profile Support / 256MB Ddr / Agp 8X /support Dvi, Tv" video card. I did not need this low profile bracket kit. The video card provided the low profile brackets, VGA cable/connector, and also a DVI to VGA adapter.
