4 comments about Speck Scorpion Toughskin Rubberized Case for Zune 4/8/16 GB (Black).
  1. I recently bought my first MP3 player (Zune 8GB) and knew that I needed a case for hiking and cycling...and my travel for work. Looked at several leather cases, but wanted a rugged exterior case with good grip to protect the Zune from drops, but still have an open face to easily access the controls. This is one of the best fitting cases I've seen, and comes with a hard screen protector that works great. If you're looking for a rugged case design for outdoor activities, you'll be hard pressed to find a better skin.

  2. Let me start off by saying that this is an excellent case. It's tough and fits great, as advertized. I do have a couple small gripes though. First the included screen protector is pretty worthless. It's one of those thin, sticker thingees. You can improvise a better one though by trimming a piece of the packaging down to size- it's this long, clear, and tabbed plastic piece. Second I wish the scroll wheel was exposed as the covering hinders the functionality a bit, you have to click instead of just dragging your finger accross it (petty I know). Third, as with the other Speck product that I purchased, the belt clip is set a little high up on the case of my tastes- I would prefer one that is more or less centered on the player. Again these are pretty small gripes, and should not dissuade anyone from purchasing this quality product.

  3. I purchased this item & it is so difficult to try to get my Zune into it. The other thing that I am not happy with is that when I try & change songs or turn up the volume it does the opposite of what I want. There is a cover over the main button & it isn't very easy to use it. Also the clip that comes with it rotates & it isn't really easy to clip it onto you & take it off. Now I have to try & find something else since I am so unhappy with this item.

  4. This protective cover acts as Zune armour when your exercising or during any out door events. Tough, light and forms a protective shell around your Zune investment.

  1. Bought this product for Christmas for my 4 yo son to use with his cd player. It has saved our sanity!! He can plug it in himself and listen to his cds. The cord to the headphones has a volume slide. The tiger design is super cute and easy for him to put on. It is well padded and comfortable. I highly recommend.

  2. These rock. My 3 year old daughter wears them comfortably and we no longer have to listen to her shows from the back seat.

In addition, she can hear her shows better over the hum of the SUV.

And she loves the tiger design. Excellent product.

Can't comment on the audio quality other than to say my daughter's not complaining!

  3. Got two sets - Tiger & Panda - for our nearly 4 and 6 1/2 year old. They fit great, are comfortable & quiet and the individual volumn control is great. We use them w/the portable DVD player in the car. Nice and quiet! Cute too.

  4. I purchased this for my 18mos to use on a flight. It was for a DVD player. She thought the headphones were great fun AND I did not have to worry about "looks" from other people as to how loud the movie we were watching was.
Bottom line: cute, good price, decent shipping cost.

5 comments about iLive Home Music System with iPod Dock (Black).
  1. After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to take a risk and purchase this unit. I agree that it has great sound quality, and has a nice look. I purchased one for my office; it's compact and a great fit. CD and radio work fine. However, the iPod function doesn't work, which was one of the main reason I selected the system. It charges it, and I can control the iPod - I simply cannot hear it. So for the price paid, I guess I should have expected problems. I have to send it back to the manufacturer (postage NOT paid) and the will send me another unit (postage paid). It's a great item in the event that yours comes in full working order. I'll let you know what happens the second time around.

  2. I purchased this item from Amazon (yes, with free shipping to Hawaii! =^_^=) and its awesome. Its set up in my bedroom and it works great. The sound system could use more base, but hey for $55, this is a great CD player, iPod dock, Alarm clock, radio, I use it with my iPhone with an AUX jack, and play my iTunes remotely. It also comes with a fully functional remote. This has a lot of features for being compact.

UPDATE: I JUST TRIED THE AUX JACK AND ITS TERRIBLE, THERE IS BARELY ANY SOUND COMING OUT OF THE SYSTEM. THIS ITEM IS BEING RETURNED FOR A REFUND. CAN'T UPDATE STARS GIVEN!

  3. I bought it and it works good it sounds right and it was what I was looking for this is a good buy

  4. this is great and works well with my iPod touch and plays the music well. i would recommend this to anyone because i can still play my cd's as well...

  5. The iLive Home Music System works very well with the iPod Touch or the iPhone 3G. However, as was stated by another reviewer, do not purchase this for CD playback capability. The CD plays intermittently if at all whether it's a regular audio CD or a burned CD. I have been unable to get an MP3 CD to play at all on this unit. Luckily I didn't purchase it for it's CD playback as I owned an iPod Touch at the time and I needed it specifically for its moderately sounding loudspeakers. The speakers are detachable and sound pretty good for the amount of money the system costs. I would have to recommend this unit over those that cost several times the price of this one ONLY if you're going to use it for Apple's iPod, iPod Touch, iPhone or iPhone 3G models.

Though the dock works, I would recommend using the Auxillary input (AUX) to play an iPhone, iPhone 3G or an iPod Touch. When you use the dock you are unable to effectively navigate and control the playback and songs satisfactorily due to the operations being controlled by the iLive Home Music System. However, with the AUX input, you will be able to navigate your music player as you normally would. It is this reason that I hook my iPhone 3G up to my car stereo through AUX and not the actual dock or USB connector. It allows you much more flexibility because you're not locked into or limited by the external system's interface.

  1. Big iGo customer. Very nice product. Have chargers and tips for both me and my wife. Been working great for the past 3 years now.

  2. The iGo chargers and tips are really great. I use this to charge my TomTom 920 GPS receiver. They are just great products. I only need one charger to charge all of my electronic devices. Extremely handy & nice. Works with all iGo chargers.

  3. Satisfied with product. However, delivery was VERY SLOW. It took two weeks to receive merchandise and i paid by card. Must have been sent by pony express. Satisified with product. Not satisfied with length of delivery time.

  4. Reasonable price. No gouging on the shipping.

Seems to make solid connections, something I had a problem with on a previous iGo product.

My cautious optimism gives it 4 stars.

  5. What can I say they do exactly what they are supposed to do and do it very well

5 comments about Wireless Motion Alert Kit-3000' Max Range.
  1. This is the second alarm we purchased. It works great and we love knowing when someone is coming down the driveway. I would recommend this to everyone that is looking for a reliable wireless alarm. Just install batteries and put monitor in the spot you want to watch. Great for when kids are playing outside you're alerted if they get to close to the road. This is one of those products that once you got it you don't want to live without it. Excellent price for the peace of mind it offers. Our 1st unit is setup at the Back at our barn to notify us if anyone enters. You can setup units to chime differently for each zone you are monitoring. Extremely satisfied.

  2. When I first purchased this alarm I thought it was wonderful, but it was too good to be true. The transmitter intermittently fails on a daily basis. If it is below freezing outside it rarely works. If it is raining it will not work at all. I am very frustrated. Customer support does not even respond. I wish there was a better product, but I think they are the only game in town (so to speak).

  3. Alert works perfectly. I like the choice of alert tones. Seems to be well made and is weather resistant.

  4. Have had this detector installed for about 3 weeks and works flawlessly so far. It is mounted on a gate post at the entrance to our property and is about 700 feet from the house and there are many trees on the lot. The trees don't seem to affect it. Never misses. Does detect deer also but that is a minor inconvenience. Previously had a cheaper detector that did not perform reliably.

  5. We have had this unit for about 2 months and it works great. No problems. It is transmitting about 400' into our house.

5 comments about Griffin 8127-5GSTRLNB Streamline Armband for iPod Classic and iPod 5G (Black).
  1. Not a bad product for the relatively low price. This product has the same issue that many ipod cases have - wheel compatibility. It is very difficult, if not impossible to operate the touch wheel to adjust volume and scroll between items to select songs, albums, playlists, etc.

Other than that issue, the fit is great, it is very easily adjusted and stays snug during your workout.

  2. Pros: Works just as its supposed to. Holds the iPod well and doesnt slide down your arm even while sweating

Cons: Difficult to get the iPod out of the case, but if you're only using it for working out then it works fine because of the charger connection hole at the bottom. Also no place to put the excess headphone cord except in your shirt.

Overall: Perfect for working out. Hopefully you dont need the iPod for much else because its not too easy to get out carefully.

  3. I am super satisfied with this carrying case. The best of all worlds (comfort, durable, easy to use). I highly recommend this armband case to everyone whether they are active or not.

  4. It's a shame that there aren't more armbands available for iPod classics. However, if you're looking for a good quality case at a reasonable price, then you've found the right product.

The Griffin Streamline Armband allows you to carry your iPod classic securely when you are working out or just going for a run. Thus far, I've had no problems with it, and I use it on an almost daily basis. It feels secure no matter what I happen to be doing and is easily adjustable to fit the average person's arm.

I did my research for some time before finally deciding on this particular armband. There were some reviews that the iPod is almost impossible to get out once you've been put it inside, but I found that true only the first few times I used it. There is a particular trick to get the iPod to easily come out (lift up the plastic cover away from the iPod and it will slide out easily), and the iPod will still remain secure. Also, there were some who argued that the touch pad controls are very difficult to access when it is in its case. This is also true until you learn the tricks on how to use it. It may prove difficult at first, but the amount of pressure needed is eventually found. I can browse through my playlists and the like without too many problems.

No one is saying that this armband is perfect, but then again, show me something that is. However, if you're looking for quality and a fair price, then you've found what you're looking for.

  5. I have worn this daily since I got it a month ago. I have had no problems at all. Unlike previous reviews for this item, I have no problem with using my click wheel. My 30GB ipod video fits well and I like the fact that the clear plastic on the front allows the entire ipod to be visable. I bought a Gelaskin at the same time, so it's nice that the pattern I choose can be seen. As for removing from the sleeve, as long as you lift the clear plastic away from the ipod before removing it from the armband, you should have no problem removing it. (You do not have to remove the ipod to charge it.) The armband is also long enough for my upper arm (and I am not a petite woman).

  1. If you need RF you won't get it with this remote. I should have gone to DirecTV in the first place. Now I have to deal with a return and get screwed on shipping. DirecTV charges $25 with free shipping and it's the real thing.

  2. This remote worked perfectly with my H20 receiver. I hung a LCD on my bedroom wall and wanted to put the receover box in the closet so that it wasn't visible. This remote allowed me to do just that! Took me 5 minutes to set up and has worked flawlessly ever since.

  3. This is the same exact remote that comes with the Direct TV box. As we found out Direct TV does not stand behind their products. To purchase this remote from Direct TV would have been double the price. My son was the one that went to Amazon to purchase the remote and I am so glad he did. It came in a timely matter, package securely, and is exactly what we wanted. I was amazed that Direct TV wanted double the price that we paid through Amazon. I will purchase needed items in the future.

  4. The buttons on the remote are unlit, very stiff and are difficult to use for anyone with a joint disorder, such as arthritis. It is also poorly designed and white (dirtying easily). Although likely due to the receiver, not the remote, changing channels is not instantaneous, in fact, not even close, taking 4-11 seconds.

  5. This remote is a "must have" for Directv customers. It controlled my brand new LCD Flat Screen, the Philips Directv Box, Sansui VCR, & Sanyo DVD without any issues. I had to get the Manual from the Directv website in PDF format to learn how to program the remote (it took 5 minutes to get the free pdf from Directv). Awesome Remote!!!"
